Imo First Lady reacts, As the world marks mental health week.

May 18-24, 2020 has been mapped out all over the world to create awareness on Mental health, in view of this the Imo State first Lady Barr. (Mrs) Chioma Hope Uzodinma has lend her voice on important of health.

Lending her voice she said….

Since 1949, the mental health month has always been utilized to create awareness about mental health and the hazards of mental illnesses in the society and the world as a whole. This year, from the 18th-24th of May 2020 will be set aside to mark the Mental Health week all over the globe.

The Mental Health awareness is geared towards creating awareness on various mental health issues and how to mitigate them. In Nigeria, people often assume that mental illness deals with only those with acute mental health conditions, i.e. those either roaming the streets unkempt or chained at a psychiatric centre.

Mental Health refers to the emotional and psychological wellbeing of a person. In recent years, Nigeria has been witnessing a surge in suicide by young people primarily due to anxiety or emotional instability bred by depression. Today, everyone is busy fighting to accomplish one goal or the other and we hardly have time for ourselves. We heap lots of stress on our brain and fall into depression or some other psychological state.

With the Covid-19 pandemic we expect a high level of emotional stress, which in turn affects our mental health . Many are going to lose their jobs. Some will lose loved ones, others will be affected by hunger. This will all have a negative effect on our mental health. We are aware that the lack of social support, purported by the mandatory social distancing have kept friends physically apart, which can be strenuous on anyone.

Fortunately, we can learn from the theme of this year’s awareness; “KINDNESS”. This period, we must extend kindness to everyone around us. You should try as much as possible to check up on your friends, do video calls or send text messages as often as you can. Extend kindness to those who are in need around you. Support people around you. The nature of the support might be emotional, social or financial. Share happiness.

Most importantly, there’s always time to achieve your goals.

Ndi Imo, ours is a promise to entrench a government of Shared Prosperity for all our people. This is my commitment to you.

Our priority must be safe practices to stay alive, and together we can beat the mental stress brought about by the current state of the world.

Church vs Tradition: CAN Youth Wing Leader Calls Odumeje to Order.

Founder of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry, Onitsha, Anambra State, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere popularly known as Odumeje has been called to retrace his steps and unwarranted speeches by the Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria.

The Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Barr. Oluchukwu Green Ijere Nnabugwu stressed this in his reaction to the viral insulting statements of Prophet Odumeje challenging as well as making jest of the family of Late Pericoma and the people of Arondizuogu of having zero record of strong or mature men in society.

Barr. Nnabugwu decried the level of humiliation the church of Christ has suffered in recent times owing to the uncalled for and unwarranted power contest called up by Odumeje from time to time adding that such development is a big slap onto the Christian body in the country which the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN oversees.

According to Nnabugwu’s statement, the power contest or search for a strong or mature person (Odogwu) in Arondizuogu or an part of society by Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje falls short and out of order of what the church is known for but advised for a Godly approach in addressing societal issues.

“My response is not based on the challenge of powers in terms of juju or occultic powers, but from the perspective of Christianity because am a well rooted Christian faithful”

“As the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Youth Wing, Southern Nigeria which comprised of 17 states. It was brought to my notice what has been trending on social Media about one Odumeje who based in Anambara State and late Pericoma and Arondizuogu people at large. There are two major issues raised in his viral statement, (a) Insult on Late Pericoma and (b) the insult on Arondizuogu people.”

“He said he has not seen Odogwu in Arondizuogu, I don’t really know what he meant by that, but I know that Odogwu is a strong man, General as the case may be”

The CAN Youth Wing Chairman said there is no need to create problems for the church which is struggling very hard to settle issues in society, noting that the time of Pericoma has come and gone and shouldn’t cause troubles.

“Now let’s take it that the reigns of Pericoma has come and gone, and in every City or community there are people known for different things, some for good and others for bad, am not judging or referring anybody to be good or bad in any way. The man Pericoma was known for his kindness, and he is not the only man that one can make reference to in Arondizuogu”

“According to indigent friends of Arondizuogu; there were many men of quality virtues in Arondizuogu, Generals per say. They have many Generals in the church leadership, Captains of Industries, Academic generals (in terms of Professors) and what have you”

Speaking further, Barr. Nnabugwu explained the underlying makeup of tissues surrounding the disagreements between Prophet Odumeje, the church, traditionalists and society.

Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje

He said clear lines should be drawn between the religious groups in society in order to give to Ceaser what belongs to him and to God that which is rightly His.

“I have seen some people responding to his claims by challenging him back in areas he pointed out because they know themselves better for they are birds of a feather, and I want to believe that Odumeje will match them because those challenging him knows the source of his powers and are battle ready for him and he knows too well about his source which will be made public at the due time. Knowing fully well he is not operating with powers of the holy spirit, as many have tested it and confirm. It’s important to note here that am not judging him but certainly one day God will expose him openly”

“Coming to the second part of his Insult which was on the Arondizuogu people and the Church. I want to humbly apologize to the great people of Arondizuogu for that Insult from Odumeje and to also let the world know that Arondizuogu is known for so many great things as deem fit

for God and nature to bless and or favour them in all works of life to envy of many.

a) The manufacturer of powerful 7keys Herbal Mixture is an Arondizuogu Man;

b) Emzor Phamacitical Company is own by an Arondizuogu woman which Odumeje, family and friends has used at several points in their life;

c) Ozoigbondu Dr. Innocent Ezuma is the no. 1 Minner in Africa”

“From all indications, Generals are not noise makers and not even on social media. They are too many to mention but that is not my sole interest at the moment. I’m actually here to respond from the angle of the church which I and majority belong to; a responsible Man does argue nor challenge a mad man in a fight. In Nigeria we have two major Christian religious groups which every church and her leaders belongs to, one is Penticostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) which is a grassroot association where every Penticostal church founder must first of all belong to, and must be screened with a very high standard before you will be admitted. Then comes the umbrella and mother body that housed all Christians in Nigeria known as the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and there are five blocks that made up CAN namely Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Christian Council of Nigeria, Penticostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Christian Penticostal, Fellowship of Nigeria”

“Odumeje was refused admission into PFN which is where he should primarily belong, and I challenge him to tell the public why he was not admitted as a Christian or church leader he claims to be. For this purpose he can not be a member of CAN since he could not be admitted by his family. Before he can come out to take a stand, which genuine man of God from any of this blocks in CAN, is he associating with?”, he stressed.

“Let me introduce him to few of God’s Generals from Arondizuogu (the ODOGWUS according to him) even in Onitsha where he based. And I challenge him to meet any of them and see if he will remain the same; if he dare near them he must surely be delivered of the evil spirit that possessed him. It’s a big challenge to him”

“To keep the records straight, Some of the Generals Almighty God has been using in that zone is Bishop Mark Unegbu, Bishop Emeritus of Catholic Arch Diocese of Owerri. Bishop Henry Okeke, Anglican Bishop of Mbamiri Diocese of Anambara State. Bishop Anthony Ilonu, Bishop Emeritus Okigwe Catholic Diocese. Bishop Alfred Nwizuzu Bishop Emeritus of the Okigwe Anglican Communion. Bishop Okoro Catholic Bishop Austra. Bishop Amos Obiora of Life Gospel Assembly Onitsha, Chairman Emos Best Group of Companies a multi billionaire yet humble. (all from Arondizuogu) some of them based in Anambara State. Odumeje knows them too but if he doesn’t,he should look for them”

“There are too many Generals of God to mention whom the self-acclaimed god- Odumeje cannot stand. I want to suggest to him, to save his time and stress or still visit Bishop Obiora or Bishop Okeke both in Anambara there let the world watch what becomes of him if he insists”

“He can equally invite his followers to watch him live or on social media and let us see if anyone will remain with him or willing to follow him at the end of the power contest like in the days of Baal Worshippers and Godly Elijah. It will interest him to know that Bishop Okeke is not just a Bishop but head of missions in the whole world in the Anglican Communion or order”

“In the foregoing, I also want to draw his attention that he is committing a criminal act in so many ways, yes you have your freedom of speech and movement but should have been arrested earlier before now , because throwing money around and encouraging people to do same is a criminal offense on money laundering act of C.B.N. and morally what does it depict from old testament to new testament down to our present generation where has it been done before?”, he expressed.

Barr Nnabugwu called on security and anti-graft operatives to investigate the source of Prophet Odumeje’s wealth in a bid to call him to order.

“I call on the Government of Anambara State under able leadership of DrDr. Willy Obiano and the federal government, the EFCC and ICPC to act immediately to that effect.

Tinubu Is a Hypocrite for praising Gambari by Chris O. Maduka

ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU IS A HYPOCRITE. AMB. GAMBARI SHOULD’VE BEEN CONFINED TO LATE GENERAL ABACHA INGLORIOUS PAST.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his confessed Disciples of the late Chief MKO Abiola are the biggest Hypocrites that have ever lived or walked on the face of the Earth.

Yesterday they Cried about Abiola and June 12th. They raised the biggest statue in Nigeria right by Ojota bypass entrance to Lagos where all can see it. They celebrated the unveiling of the statue as if the Late amiable Chief and winner of June 12th election resurrected. Among the celebrants were some of the people that connived and conspired to deny Abiola the Presidency.

They took the living legend and gave them the statue and holidays and they actually celebrated again in their usual foolish euphoria.

Today the same Bola Tinubu who has made his career riding on the tailcoat of Late Chief Abiola is now Praising the newly Appointed Chief of Staff to the President Ambassador Ibrahim Gambari, the man who helped to kill June 12th and Buried Abiola, Tinubu is praising the high heavens. He came short of saying thank you for Killing June 12th. Perhaps he thought that some of us may have forgotten the event and the role Gambari played.

I was not told, I watched the same Ibrahim Gambari defend and justify the annulment of June 12 elections conducted by one of the best and courageous political gurus that this country has ever seen. Professor, Mazi Humphrey Nwosu who introduced the option A4 open ballot voting that produced the most transparent, free and fair elections that this country has ever seen, yet when the military in their ambition to hold unto power and keep it in the North annulled it, It was the same Amb. Gambari who went all over the places telling the world that the election was flawed. That it was full of malpractices. He alleged all manners of evil to justify the evil and disservice that was to the Nigerian people and the Late MKO Abiola. Little wonder the country has failed to get it right ever since.

Then fast forward to when Ken Sarowiwa and others were murdered by the Abacha regime, it was once again, Amb. Gambari who used his diplomatic clout to blunt and undermine the gathering international resolve to deal with the Abacha regime which had the likes of same Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the run, hiding in foxholes and disguising like Jankara women to escape from the border to avoid being liquidated.

Yes, Amb. Gambari was and has always been in the bad gang against the Nigerian people. He serves one god at a time (his Boss). Regardless of how the Nigerian people feel, and regardless of whatsoever whosoever his boss unleashes on the people he will still remain loyal and dance to the tune of whoever pays him the Piper determines the tune he will play.

He has interestingly indicated that he will do same with his Current appointment. He’s a good laundry man. Watch as he’ll attempt to use his receding and waning diplomatic contacts to launder and justify the indefensible actions of this administration. But thank God the thinking in Washington, the realities and the key players are different from the Clintonian and Obama school of thoughts.

People have flaunted and showcased his academic brilliance to justify his inept and deeply flawed personal character and failings. Can any of those who sang his praises to the high heavens tell ordinary Nigerians the diplomatic achievements of this career diplomat that have impacted ordinary Nigerians positively? Perhaps that may help to justify their unwarranted and unmerited praises they are pouring on him.

Let me remind all, that during Saddam Hussein reign there were equally other brilliant men with compelling credentials and experience that served under Saddam, just like Ibrahim Gambari served under Gen. Abacha and other dictators. We still remember the foreign minister Tariq Aziz and few others. But when that regime went down, they all went down with it. It was like a deck of cards. It collapsed and never to be resurrected again.

The likes of Amb. Gambari and others who used their brilliance and credentials to serve the regime disapproved by the world in its entirety should’ve gone down with that regime and never to be heard from again.

Perhaps that’s the problem with the Nigeria people. We continue to resurrect people who are parts of axis of evil. Those who are co-conspirators and facilitators in the gradual destruction of Nigeria to come back and lead or fix Nigeria with the same mindset that did not work when things were less complicated and challenging as they are now.

Already Bola Ahmed Tinubu the lead singer that leads the Yoruba nation has reburied Abiola his Oga, as he embraced those who ganged up and saw to his destruction and early grave.

Little wonder little or no progress has been made and will not be made even if you bring a hundred more Ibrahim Gambaris.

YOU DON’T REBEL IN ROME, YOU MUST KEEP THE RULE OR PAY FOR IT.

Between 2018 and 2019, I worked as a labourer shuffling across cities in Lagos.

In the course of my job, I found myself working with some group of people who have been in the jobs longer than I.

Unlike them, the job was just an improvised means of making ends meet for me. So I tackled the job with a different outlook.

I’m close to a perfectionist and I often have to try not to put my 100 in certain things.

I usually go to these jobs with my bag which to their humour, contained my cosmetics and no food. I rarely ate on the job. I’m psychologically wired to really want to relax after a meal.

My schedule was totally different from theirs. Once I finished work, I’d take my bath, and race home looking like a PA to the president.

Back home, it’s usually past ten in the night already. I’ll sit something on the stove for dinner and then go ahead to do some laundry before taking another bath.

As it is, I wash on average of six days per week. No matter how busy I am or what comes my way, I always find a way to wash and something to wash. I like washing.

So after taking my bath, I’ll have late dinner. Late dinner is another habit I don’t know what to do with.

I’ve had some concerned people in the health sector advise me against it but I guess, to me, it’s one of those things a man can’t just stop doing even if it kills.

Anyway, after my late dinner, I’ll delve into Facebook and WhatsApp. Check my Mails and reply Sms I wasn’t able to handle during the working hours.

Then, I still had to read. I still had to review stuffs I’d written. I’m always modifying my works and before I know it, I’m looking at 2:30 A.M.

I’ll nap and wake up around 7 AM to repeat the circle. So when I look at this and compare it to my co workers’ schedule which more often than not take the pattern of, they come to work, finish work, have dinner at the working site, reach home and hit the bed.

The result is that I always want to finish up with the job and get going.

I thought I was doing us a favour whenever I started doing the jobs of two men put together. At first, they hailed me, then as time progressed, I realized they didn’t look too pleased with me again.

I didn’t know why. They started telling my lies. They’d say there’s no work tomorrow. When I report to work two days later, I’ll hear they came to work the day before. I didn’t know what I did to them.

Someday, they’d try to send me back home before the supervisor will report to work through several mischievous means.

One day, we were already working when they complained that there were too many labourers and that there’s need for layoff.

Of course, all fingers pointed at me. Even the few of them I considered friendly were snickering and avoiding me.

Anyway I dressed to go. Outside, I met the supervisor and asked him in our customary way to give me #100 make I take jump bike.

He started fumbling with his pockets and then a thought came him. He asked me where I was going. I explained that we exceeded the number of needed workers so that counted me out.

‘What?’ He rushed into the site and started barking at everybody. He has great admiration for me and enjoyed how hardworking I was. How I don’t spend hours eating lunch, hours eating breakfast and hours drinking water. ‘So someone have to go and it’s Henry?’ He started laughing. ‘You’re all joking,’ He told them and said if anybody had to go, that they should caste away one of them. I changed and resumed work.

He took my number. Without their knowledge. They’d lie that there’s no job. And he’d text me at odd hours when works has already started and ask me why I didn’t report to work. I’ll tell him there’s supposed to be no work today. That surprised him and severely, I saw myself hurriedly going to a job I didn’t prepare for at very unusual hours.

So one day, I talked to a friend on WhatsApp about it. He said he knew why they were treating me like that.

He said it was because unlike me, that job to them, isn’t something to finish. That if everybody there started working like me, they’d end up working four days rather than six days every week. That was why they were not in a hurry to finish the jobs.

They weren’t paid for their individual effort or hourly output, rather it was a fixed rate. That it’s like a government job for them; just lazy around as much as you can, waste whatever time you can, take your payment and go home.

It’s not their father or uncle that own the money. They don’t care if it takes a hundred years to finish the work so far they get paid shifting a few bricks from here to there each day.

And that was why the Engineer, supervisor and management liked me and that was why my coworkers detested me.
They saw me as a threat to the system that’s the rules they operate under. Also my working extra hard, meant pressure on them to step up their efforts and that’s an inconvenience to them. Shortly afterwards, I left their job for them.

So while I was expecting praises from my co workers, I didn’t know that I was a problem to them.

And this is an answer to your question of why people change when they assume power.

We’ve all heard and read people ask how good people suddenly turn to what they don’t know once they’re in a position to affect any change in a system they’ve so much criticized.

That’s why Nigeria isn’t working. And that’s why it will never work with the present foundation.

If you like, go and put Obama in Aso Rock. If he do more than they’re willing to take, they’ll cut him down to size.

That’s why if you become Nigeria president today, you won’t do better than Buhari. That’s why GEJ couldn’t win a second term running against a candidate like Buhari and that’s the same reason the outspoken Osinbajo has turned to a rainbow, appearing once in a blue moon.

If you enter a city, you ask who owns the city first so you’ll know where to direct your respect. If you enter Rome, you act like the Romans. You play to the rule or you pay for it.

Are you playing to the rules or you’ve broken the rules and now waiting for your praises? It’ll come in form of a brick hitting you on the head.
Wait for it.

P.P.R.O. Orlando Ikeokwu solicits for Akubuiro’s family, gives them palliative.

On 11/04/2020, I went to Market Square Supermarket to get some items as demanded by my family as I waited outside having placed my order, because as at then no one enters the supermarket due to Covid-19 restriction order of the state government, you only give one of the staff of the supermarket money to shop for you while you wait outside.

A woman who identified herself as Mrs Jennifer Akabuiro, walked up to me, asking for assistance, with her was her twelve (12) years old daughter, Chinenye Akabuiro and her son Chijioke Akabuiro three (3) years old.

I tried to find out why she took to begging since she is not physically challenged, she told me her husband was a carpenter, but presently paralyzed after falling down from a tree which affected his spinal cord, and that she spent all the money she uses for her minor business while treating her husband. She further informed me that they have seven children in total and none of them is in school due to financial constraint.

I was really touched that I had to do a little shopping for them and gave her small amount of money, gave her my complementary card to call me, unfortunately she had no phone, then I told her to get a phone from anyone close to her and call me so that I can pay them a visit.

She called me three weeks later, I then visited the family with the little I can spare from my “Covid-19 reserve”. On getting to the house, I almost wept at the condition of the family, the house is dilapidated, they sleep on bare floor and above all no food to eat and one of the child was ill, with no money for drugs, all the children had fully grown hairs, not because they want it that way, but because there is no money to go to the salon for hair cut. However, I did all I could at least to save the situation momentarily.

Furthermore, I contacted my family members and friends as a result, two of the children, Favour Akabuiro 15yrs old and Chinenye Akabuiro 12yrs old were taken by two different families and I went further to buy a small phone for the woman for easy communication between the woman, the two children and their respective guardians.

My reason for writing and posting this therefore is to appeal to anyone or group who has something to spare to kindly reach out to Mrs. Jennifer Akabuiro on 07086733663, or visit them at Okwu-Umuguma, Ogbaku.

May God bless and replenish our purses a million fold as we spare to help this Family.

Odumeje surrenders asked his people to beg Aro-izuogu nation.

It will recalled that over a period of time now there has been a war of words between the Self acclaimed prophet Odumeje and the great people of Aro Izuogu nation over an abusive words used by Odumeje that the children of Late Chief Okoye(Pericoma) Are useless and that there is no Rich or Great man in Arondizuogu.

The war started immediately the video went viral on social media especially Facebook and YouTube, and the youths of Arondizuogu has threatened fire to prove that they are not useless.

Others has equally looked at it from a different angle to prove that Aro is a great nation with great people both dead and alive, in the latest development the representatives of the stakeholders in Orsu L.G.A. in an emergency meeting sued for peace and apologized to the people of Arondizuogu on behalf of their son Odumeje, acknowledging great mentorship and qualities of the great sons of Arondizuogu which has benefited them directly or indirectly, and promised to organize a meeting of the two nations once the lockdown is totally lifted. Below is the communique of the emergency meeting.

New Media Galaxy congratulates the mother of the Publisher.

We Celebrate you mother!!

Mother is important to every life, and any being who did not enjoy the care of a mother really missed out. This is why reputable organizations always map out a day to celebrate our mother.

Today 10th of May 2020, The Assemblies of God Church, Nigeria celebrates their mothers and wives, and in the same Spirit we celebrate the mother of our Director on her mothering Sunday, we pray God to give her long life, good health and prosperity.

In his words the Publisher New Media Galaxy extol the good qualities of his mother, he wrote this poem for her.

The womb that carries me nine solid months, you nurtured me till I grew up, you were behind my success in life after God, you trained me in the ways of the Lord.

Am Proud to call you mother and will continue till Christ comes, You started this journey of raising me with my father, when he died you didn’t give up rather you struggled to raise me and siblings alone. My prayer to God is keep you till you eat yhe fruits of your labor from us all. Grow old in good health and holiness for Christ.

It was never easy but you never give up, you cried most of the nights asking God questions which many were not answered.

You never give up, you hustled in so many areas doing many petty business to see that we survived.

Under rain and sun you were hustling, night and day you were busy preparing for what to sell to feed us. Nobody was by your side, no brother, sister, brother in-law, sister in-law, friends or what.

It was only God who was with you in all the trying times to see we live, we your children are happy to have you as our mother, though all is not well yet but soon by the grace of God you shall laugh.

You taught us the ways of Christ and warned us not to leave the counsel of God, always study the Bible and do what God instructed you to do and you shall be fulfilled. Don’t join others in what they do but lean on God at all times.

These your words is what has kept us going, and God in his infinite mercy have not disappointed us, He has always shown up in times of confusion and vow to continue serve Him till the end of the world.

Happy mother’s day to you. Congratulations for been a woman and a mother. I and my siblings loves you.

She perhaps had little competition when it comes to playing the desolate, poor and pitiful characters which earned her the ‘cry baby’ nickname. This special talent is what won her most of her teeming supporters/admirers and fetched her movie features of enviable proportion.Little known facts, however, is that the delectable actress, Sylvanus, was a special assistant to former Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha on Public affairs. She was kidnapped on December 15, 2012 at 2.30pm and a reported ransom of a
₦100,000,000 (One hundred million naira) which was (per exchange rate) in 2012 equivalent to $640,000 (Six Hundred and forty thousand U.S dollars) was demanded by her captors in exchange for her release. However, on December 21, 2012 at 10:30pm, Sylvanus was released from captivity. In 2014 Sylvanus married Stanley Duru, the ex husband of her fellow actor, Oge Okoye. CAN Southern Youth Leader replies Odumeje.

Odumeje a native doctor prophet, few days ago made an inslting statement to people of Arondizuogu and to late Pericoma saying that he have seen any strong or mature man from there and this has received many attention and reactions, on this feature a son of soil in Arondizuogu lend his voice this way.

As the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Youth Wing, Southern Nigeria which comprised of 17 states. It was brought to my notice what has been trending on social Media about one Odumeje who based in Anambara State and late Pericoma and Arondizuogu people at large.

There are two major issues raised in his viral statement, (a) Insult on Late Pericoma and (b) the insult on Arondizuogu people.

He said he has not seen Odogwu in Arondizuogu, I don’t really know what he meant by that, but I know that Odogwu is a strong man, General as the case may be.

Now let’s take it that the reigns of Pericoma has come and gone, and in every City or community there are people known for different things, some for good and others for bad, am not judging or referring anybody to be good or bad in any way. The man Pericoma was known for his kindness, and he is not the only man that one can make reference to in Arondizuogu.

According to indigent friends of Arondizuogu; there were many men of quality virtues in Arondizuogu, Generals per say. They have many Generals in the church leadership, Captains of Industries, Academic generals (in terms of Professors) and what have you.

My response is not based on the challenge of powers in terms of juju or occultic powers, but from the perspective of Christianity because am a well rooted Christian faithful.

I have seen some people responding to his claims by challenging him back in areas he pointed out because they know themselves better for they are birds of a feather, and I want to believe that Odumeje will match them because those challenging him knows the source of his powers and are battle ready for him and he knows too well about his source which will be made public at the due time. Knowing fully well he is not operating with powers of the holy spirit, as many have tested it and confirm. It’s important to note here that am not judging him but certainly one day God will expose him openly.

Coming to the second part of his Insult which was on the Arondizuogu people and the Church. I want to humbly apologize to the great people of Arondizuogu for that Insult from Odumeje and to also let the world know that Arondizuogu is known for so many great things as deem fit for God and nature to bless and or favour them in all works of life to envy of many.

a) The manufacturer of powerful 7keys Herbal Mixture is an Arondizuogu Man;

b) Emzor Phamacitical Company is own by an Arondizuogu woman which Odumeje, family and friends has used at several points in their life;

c) Ozoigbondu Dr. Innocent Ezuma is the no. 1 Minner in Africa.

From all indications, Generals are not noise makers and not even on social media.

Then comes the umbrella and mother body that housed all Christians in Nigeria known as the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and there are five blocks that made up CAN namely Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Christian Council of Nigeria, Penticostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Christian Penticostal, Fellowship of Nigeria.

Odumeje was refused admission into PFN which is where he should primarily belong, and I challenge him to tell the public why he was not admitted as a Christian or church leader he claims to be. For this purpose he can not be a member of CAN since he could not be admitted by his family. Before he can come out to take a stand, which genuine man of God from any of this blocks in CAN, is he associating with?

Let me introduce him to few of God’s Generals from Arondizuogu (the ODOGWUS according to him) even in Onitsha where he based. And I challenge him to meet any of them and see if he will remain the same; if he dare near them he must surely be delivered of the evil spirit that possessed him. It’s a big challenge to him.

To keep the records straight, Some of the Generals Almighty God has been using in that zone is Bishop Mark Unegbu, Bishop Emeritus of Catholic Arch Diocese of Owerri. Odumeje knows them too but if he doesn’t,he should look for them.

There are too many Generals of God to mention whom the self-acclaimed god- Odumeje cannot stand.

I want to suggest to him, to save his time and stress or still visit Bishop Obiora or Bishop Okeke both in Anambara there let the world watch what becomes of him if he insists.

He can equally invite his followers to watch him live or on social media and let us see if anyone will remain with him or willing to follow him at the end of the power contest like in the days of Baal Worshippers and Godly Elijah.

It will interest him to know that Bishop Okeke is not just a Bishop but head of missions in the whole world in the Anglican Communion or order.

In the foregoing, I also want to draw his attention that he is committing a criminal act in so many ways, yes you have your freedom of speech and movement but should have been arrested earlier before now , because throwing money around and encouraging people to do same is a criminal offense on money laundering act of C.B.N. and morally what does it depict from old testament to new testament down to our present generation where has it been done before?

I call on the Government of Anambara State under able leadership of Dr. Willy Obiano and the federal government, the EFCC and ICPC to act immediately to that effect.

Signed…
Barr Oluchukwu Green Ijere Nnabugwu
(Chairman Youth Wing Christian Association of Nigeria).

₦4 Million Naira Made me Kill three of them Gang Leader.

I killed them because of N4m – Leader of kidnapping gang that killed three UNIPORT, RSU students tells police (photos)

The Rivers state police command has paraded five suspected killers of three University students in the state.

Recall that on May 1, it was shared online on how the Anti-cultism unit of Rivers State police command, arrested members of a kidnapping gang who abducted and killed three students –
Nelson Nwafor and Fortune Obemba, both students of the Rivers State University, RSU; and Joy Adoki, a student of Management Science in the University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT.

The undergraduates were kidnapped on April 7 2020. After an extensive investigation, the
suspects were arrested and one of them led security operatives to the shallow grave where the three students were buried.

Briefing journalists at the police headquaters in Port Harcourt, Commissioner of police, Joseph Gobum Mukan said the three victims were kidnapped at Choba.

Mukan said one AK-47, three magazines and 72 rounds of live ammunition were recovered from the kidnappers.

Leader of the gang, Bright Iheachi, who led police to the arrest of other gang members, said he ordered the killing because one of the victims ran away with his N4 million.

He said the initial target was Nelson Nwafor who he claims betrayed him and fled to Ghana with his N4 million share of an undisclosed deal they struck last year.

He said he organized for Nelson to be kidnapped. However, on the day of the abduction, Nelson was with Fortune and Joy who were then abducted along with him.

“I was the person that ordered my colleagues to kill the three of them, but it was Nelson that I had wanted them to kill, but I later changed my mind and decided that the three of them be killed” he said.

Mr Bright Obemba, the distraught father of late Fortune, said the boy was his only son. He said no amount of money given to him would bring back his son.
President Buhari has since condemned the attack and has ordered that justice must be served.

Almajiris on their Way to Abia Intercepted at State’s Border.

Before now there has been a rumour about the importation northern children known as Almajiri into South East and especially Abia and the State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu instructed the Security agents in the state to be on red alert.

Just in the early hours of today many of them were intercepted at the boundary between Enugu and Abia States. Report from Abia blogger PUO has it thus…

Abia State Homeland Security team led by the Commisioner for Homeland Security, Prince Dan Okoli, today intercepted another group of Almajiris hidden in cattle trucks at Enugu – Abia border along the Enugu -Port Harcourt Highway.

Overnight, several trucks conveying food items with several almajiris hiding in them were turned back at the same border.

Meanwhile, the state Government has directed that more homeland security agents be deployed to one of the borders with Akwa Ibom State following the interception of a Dangote truck conveying almajiris alongside goods destined for Akwa Ibom State.

The people of South East with the security agents should beef up security to stop this illegal migrants and prosecute them especially now that inter state borders are closed by the federal government.

Enugu-Ezike a town where the gods forbids infidelity among married woman.

It’s good to know the tradition of a town before you take walk to have anything to do with the people lest you fall a victim.

Enugu-Ezike is located at Enugu State, South-East Nigeria and they have a dangerous God called NDISHI.

Ndishi is a spiritual being seen only by those who violated the tradition of marital fidelity. The tradition is as old as Enugu-Ezike instituted by Ezike Oba himself before he died.

The tradition is binding on every child of Enugu-Ezike. It revolves around having extramarital affairs with another man’s wife or even an obvious intention to do so through kissing or having your hand across the waist of another man’s wife which is seen as synonymous with sex.

Once a lady’s pride price is paid, she cannot for any reason have an affair with another man other than her husband.

A widow is forbidden to have an affair while inside her late husband’s house or risk the death of her first son. If she wants to do such a thing she must be relocated to another house. If she gets tired and wants to come back to her late husband’s house, she will confess to her escapades, appease the gods and then return after a cleansing ceremony.

An Enugu-Ezike man is forbidden to have a sexual relationship with another man’s wife. Such acts attract the wrath of Ndishi and are highly punishable.

A married woman is forbidden to make a monetary donation or contribution to her family or any other person without the knowledge of her husband or risk being arrested by Ndishi.

A married woman while taking her bath cannot answer a call from another man except her husband.

It is against Ndishi to knock on the door of a married woman when she is alone in the room or at home.

What is your take on this..?

Wrong overtaken that caused Accident which claimed live of a young man along Onitsha Road.

The prayer of everyone living is to move out everyday and comes back safe, but unfortunately live has not been fair to all when it comes to accident, especially when it claims live(s).

The crash involved a Lexus RX330 SUV with registration number GGE339FU and a Mercedes Benz 911 with registration number XA588ENU. The Lexus driver attempted to overtake the 911 driver who rather refused to give way, thus resulting to the collision.

The driver of the Lexus died on the spot while the trailer drivers name is Mr Tony Nwawoukwu is strong and kicking.

Federal Road Safety should look into such act.

Government of New York Suspends the License of a funeral home where dozens of bodies were removed from trucks.

The New York State Department of Health has suspended the license of a Brooklyn funeral home where dozens of bodies were discovered in trucks Wednesday, according to a statement by the state health commissioner.

The actions of the Andrew T. Cleckley Funeral Home were “appalling, disrespectful to the families of the deceased, and completely unacceptable,” said New York Health Commissioner Howard Zucker in a statement.

The suspension is immediate and was made following an investigation by the health department, according to the statement.

Zucker said the state had issued an order allowing out-of-state funeral home directors to help during the coronavirus pandemic and had eased administrative hurdles. He said the state understands the burden that funeral homes are under.

“But a crisis is no excuse for the kind of behavior we witnessed at Andrew T. Cleckley Funeral Home, and we are holding them accountable for their actions,” he said.

CNN reached out to the funeral home on Thursday and Friday for comment on the bodies and the suspension. On Wednesday, someone who identified himself as the owner of the funeral home would not comment.

Funeral home was overwhelmed, source says
Officials on Wednesday discovered four trucks containing as many as 60 bodies outside the funeral home after someone reported fluids dripping from the vehicles, according to a law enforcement official.

The official told CNN on Thursday that bodies were being removed from the trucks.

Authorities have asked the owner to gather paperwork that would help identify the bodies.

The Department of Environmental Protection issued two summonses to the owner of the funeral home for a foul odor.

The funeral home was overwhelmed and ran out of room for bodies, which were awaiting cremation, and used the trucks for storage, a second law enforcement source said Wednesday.

At least one of the trucks was unrefrigerated, according to one law enforcement official. One source said the bodies were put on ice.

“They were like almost everyone, doing their best to cope,” one source said.

New York has been the epicenter of the US coronavirus outbreak for weeks, with more than 18,000 confirmed and probable Covid-19 deaths, according to the city website.

New York has freezer trucks that funeral homes can use if they are overwhelmed, and the city sent one to hold the bodies, CNN affiliate WABC reported.

“Funeral directors are required to store decedents awaiting burial or other final disposition in appropriate conditions and to follow their routine infection prevention and control precautions,” the New York State Health Department said in a statement regarding the incident.

Household enemies Part 1.

Proverbs 29:5 A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.

Proverbs 21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

Household Enemies are within, it can your wife, husband, children, siblings, neighbors, church members etc. But the truth is that they are close to you most times unknowingly and that is why is most dangerous. God will expose any moment from now on Jesus name, Amen.

Why is it that evil is multiplying everyday among those who are church goers (Christians)? Why is that a member can not trust a fellow member? Why should gossips sprawl out from a believer against a believer.

Why is that many Christians even those who are church leaders, elders and titled men/women in the church are not living in peace with their neighbors?

Why is it that some families can not sleep without discussing other people negatively? Even to the extent of condemning them as if they are God to judge or condemn. They don’t like to be in peace with their neighbors, even when the so called neighbors have not quarrel with him/her.

You just hate him/her for no reason, when she’s going out your heart will be boiling, when you hear his/her voice back home you begin to rain curses on her even though he/she is not noticing all these your silly attitudes, yet you claim to be a born again.

The Bible says in Proverbs 29:5 the He/She that Flattered his neighbor is Spreadeth net for his/her feet. Some have gone to the extent of accusing innocent people falsely because you hate him/her. Let me ask does God have a favourite child? Can God compromise? Can say because you are not a fornicator or adulterer, and set you free when you are guilty of hatered, gossips, false allegations and other sins?

Why do people specialises in criticizing others when they are yet to work on themselves? You are keeping malice, speaking vulgar and dirty words against another. Working daily to see that your spouse, neighbors, colleagues do not have peace yet you are criticizing another person you are not sure of the alleged case, am asking are you sure you will go to heaven with this attitudes?

You find fault in everything another does, yet you have refused to confront them for peace as Bible instructs, yet you condemn them every minute of the day and claim to be a believer!
Okay, because you belong Prayer Warriors, bmBand, Choir, Teacher in the church, Elder or even Deaconess or any other position you hold and you think you have arrived. Chai heaven is not a place for Sinners no matter how small you think that sin is, oh you have categorized sin and give yourself a pass mark that your sin is not bigger than the other person.

Have you forgotten the two people that went to pray in the temple and one was praising himself as though he was not like the other Sinner, you the rest. How did we get here? You lie, hate and bear grudges at heart yet nothing dey happen! Ok if you don’t repent the same hell fire is awaiting a murderer, killer etc is waiting for you also.

What about those women who has refused to give their husband peace? Just because you feel you are better off, you are richer than him, you re educated than him? You provide for the family at the moment, you give him tough time in the home, always nagging, complaining, insulting and abusing him, hmmm God is watching, the tears of that man is reaching heaven.

Especially believers who do this because you he won’t beat you, fight you or even send you packing, God can send you packing on his behalf without you knowing it, no wonder the Bible says it’s better for a man to live by the Conner of a house roof of his house Chai!!! than to live with a sprawling woman in a full and wide house.

Do you think you re winning the fight? Oh yes you think you re an action woman, hot lady, reining lady, okay we are watching. Ask of those who did it before you how they ended.

Think twice God has no grandchild or special child, if He can not spare Moses of anger ,he won’t spare you of hatred which is translated murder. See tomorrow.

How about women who hated their mother in-laws?

Wives who hate to see husband’s family members?

What of husband who naggs?

I will handle this in subsequent messages.

Ex. VP. Atiku Explains Why He Sacked 46 Staff.

Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar has issued a statement on the sack of 46 staff from his company, GOTEL on Friday, May 1st, which happens to be workers day.

The statement sent to POLITICS NIGERIA was signed by his media aide, Paul Ibe.

“The rationalisation of staff at Gotel Communications Limited, a company under the umbrella of Priam Group, is a culmination of the restructuring process in the companies under our Group. The founder of companies under the Priam had announced that many of his business concerns will be aggregated under the Priam Group.”

“Priam Group had embarked on a restructuring exercise which led to a merger of many companies under its umbrella. Other components of the restructuring include rationalization of workforce and thus some members of staff of the group would be laid off, with their full disengagement benefits paid to them.”

“The press statement of December 24, 2019, stressed that owing to the restructuring exercise and merger of companies, some personnel may have to be disengaged.”

“It is also not unexpected that a restructuring procedure of this size and nature would come with some likely job rationalisation especially since each of these entities has its own finance, admin, marketing, HR and ancillary support operations which would now be consolidated and undertaken at the group level”, Paul Ibe, Media Adviser to the Founder and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar had said in the statement unveiling the Priam Group.”

“It should, however, be noted that the current decision to right-size the workforce in Gotel Communications Limited is the climax of the on-going restructuring exercise which was initiated last year.”

“It will therefore out of context to ascribe any mundane presupposition for being responsible for the decision to lay off some of the workforce in Gotel Communications Limited.”

“Following the unveiling of Priam Group last year, Atiku Abubakar ceased to be involved in the running of the affairs of his companies. The decisions taken so far, and especially as it relates to the rationalisation of staff, is solely a management decision.”

“It needs to be restated that we shall, as a responsible organisation, discharge every obligation to the laid-off staff and any other staff that may be involved in the rationalisation exercise of any of the companies under the Priam Group.

This British brewer is giving away free beer in exchange for NHS donations.

A brewery in Northumberland, northeast England, has been giving away gallons of free beer to local residents after the coronavirus lockdown hit sales and left it with a surplus.

Alnwick Brewery, which supplies craft lager, ale and stout to local pubs and restaurants, produced more than 5,000 pints of beer ahead of Easter but was then unable to sell it after the UK government closed non-essential businesses in March.

Co-owner Ian Robinson told CNN he came up with the idea of giving it away after hearing of a brewer in Scotland doing the same — but decided to ask locals to give voluntary donations to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) in return.

“We produced around 80 casks of beer for Easter, and almost immediately the government closed the pubs and restaurants so we were left with it,” he said. “The casks were virtually dead money.”

Where did it go wrong for the UK on coronavirus?
Where did it go wrong for the UK on coronavirus?
Robinson has been giving away beer on each Friday for the last three weeks, raising £940 ($1,180) so far.

At first, people were collecting the beer directly from the brewery, which is two miles out of town, but so that people can avoid driving it is now being given away from the brewery store in Alnwick town center.

“The queue was outside the town square this morning,” Robinson said. “The little cardboard box we have for collections is pretty much bulging, so hopefully there’ll be another two or three hundred pounds in that — and we’ve probably got enough for another two or three weeks [of giveaways].”

Robinson and his business partners have also delivered fudge, chocolates, biscuits and cakes that are usually sold in the shop to a local hospital ward that cares for patients with dementia.

North Korea leader Kim Jong In reappears in public after rumours of death.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has made his first public appearance since speculation about his health began last month, cutting the ribbon at the opening of a fertilizer factory, KCNA reported Saturday.

Kim “attended the ceremony” on Friday and “all the participants broke into thunderous cheers of ‘hurrah!’” when he appeared, the Korean Central News Agency said.

He also inspected the facility and was “briefed about the production processes,” the report said.

Kim “said with deep emotion” that his grandfather Kim Il Sung and father Kim Jong Il “would be greatly pleased if they heard the news that the modern phosphatic fertilizer factory has been built,” KCNA added.

Kim has not made a public appearance since presiding over a Workers’ Party politburo meeting on April 11, and the following day state media reported on him inspecting fighter jets at an air defence unit.

Conjecture over his health had grown since his conspicuous no-show at April 15 celebrations for the birthday of his grandfather Kim Il Sung, the North’s founder — the most important day in the country’s political calendar.

A top security advisor to South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in said less than a week ago that Kim was “alive and well,” downplaying rumors that he was ill or incapacitated.

The advisor, Moon Chung-in, told CNN that Kim had been staying in Wonsan — a resort town in the east of North Korea — since April 13, adding: “No suspicious movements have so far been detected.”

Daily NK, an online media outlet run mostly by North Korean defectors, has reported Kim was undergoing treatment after a cardiovascular procedure last month.

Citing an unidentified source inside the country, it said Kim, who is in his mid-30s, had needed urgent treatment due to heavy smoking, obesity and fatigue.

Soon afterwards, CNN reported that Washington was “monitoring intelligence” that Kim was in “grave danger” after undergoing surgery, quoting what it said was an anonymous US official.

US President Donald Trump appeared to confirm that Kim was alive earlier this week.

Trump refused to comment Friday on Kim’s reported re-emergence.

Previous absences from the public eye on Kim’s part have prompted speculation about his health.

The North is extremely secretive, and doubly so about its leadership.

Kim’s father and predecessor Kim Jong Il had been dead for two days before anyone outside the innermost circles of North Korean leadership was any the wiser.

In 2014, Kim Jong Un dropped out of sight for nearly six weeks before reappearing with a cane.

Days later, the South’s spy agency said he had undergone surgery to remove a cyst from his ankle.

Federal Government disburses N43.4b to 24 states.

The Federal Government has disbursed N43,416 billion ($120.6 million) as performance-based grants to 24 states.

The states were considered eligible for the results they achieved in 2018 under the performance-based grant component of the World Bank-Assisted States Fiscal Transparency, Accountability and Sustainability (SFTAS) Programme-for-Results.

The grant is financed with a loan of US$750 million from the International Development Association (IDA), a member of the World Bank Group.

The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, in a statement, explained that “the disbursement followed the participation of the 24 eligible states in the recent Annual Performance Assessment (APA).”

The assessment was done by the Office of the Auditor- General for the Federation (OAuGF) as the Independent Verification Agent (IVA), in collaboration with a third party firm, JK Consulting Limited and the SFTAS Programme Coordination Unit (PCU).

Mrs. Ahmed explained that the SFTAS Programme was established by the Federal Government with a loan of $750 million to support states through the provision of performance-based grants of $700 million.

In addition, a technical assistance worth $50 million was also factored into the grant “to enhance their capacity to achieve the Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs) i.e. the Programme results”.

According to a statement signed by the Ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Mr. Hassan Dodo, yesterday in Abuja, “the DLIs are derived from the country’s 22-Point Fiscal Sustainability Plan and the 14 Open Government Partnership (OGP) commitments aimed at strengthening fiscal transparency, accountability and sustainability across states.

The Minister said for states to qualify for the grant they must meet the Eligibility Criteria (EC) through online publication of the approved annual budget and audited financial statement for the previous year and the DLIs that eligible States receive grants for achieving.

Some of the DLIs include: improved financial reporting and budget reliability; increased openness and citizens’ engagement in the budget process; improved cash management and reduced revenue leakages through implementation of State Treasury Single Account (TSA).

Other conditions to be met to qualify for the grant are: strengthened Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) collection; biometric registration and Bank Verification Number (BVN) used to reduce payroll fraud; improved procurement practices for increased transparency and value for money.

Also required are strengthened public debt management and fiscal responsibility framework; improved clearance/reduction of stock of domestic expenditure arrears; and improved debt sustainability.

The finance minister reiterated that “the World Bank-assisted SFTAS Programme is principally to strengthen fiscal management at the State level so as to ensure effective mobilization and utilization of financial resources to the benefit of their citizens in a transparent, accountable and sustainable manner, thereby reducing fiscal risks and encouraging a common set of fiscal behaviours.”

Mrs. Ahmed was happy that the SFTAS programme couldn’t have come at a better time than now “given the dwindling government revenue occasioned by oil price volatility coupled with the current impact of COVID-19 which has further intensified the need for improved practices in fiscal transparency, accountability and sustainability as enunciated in the SFTAS ideals.”

She recalled that in 2018, the first year of the Programme, only 24 States met the Eligibility Criteria. She also disclosed that those States declared ineligible for 2018 failed to publish their annual budgets and audited financial statements online within the time frame as stipulated by the SFTAS Programme Operation Manual (POM).

The statement revealed that the 24 beneficiary States who met the eligibility criteria are Abia, Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Delta, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Ondo, Ogun,Oyo, Osun, Sokoto, Taraba and Yobe States.

The 12 States that missed out on the 2018 grants because they did not meet the Eligibility Criteria are Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Borno, Cross River, Ebonyi, Imo, Lagos, Nasarawa, Plateau, Rivers and Zamfara States.

However, the SFTAS Programme accommodates different starting points, so the 12 States can still participate in the 2019, 2020 and 2021 respective performance years by meeting the EC and DLIs in the said years.

The total sum of (N43,416,000,000.00) USD120.6 Million has so far been disbursed to the qualified 24 States based on their performance.

Kaduna State achieved the highest number of results (nine) and got the highest share with N3,960,000,000.00. Katsina and Benue got the lowest amount of N540,000,000.00 each.

Imo Governor, Open Food Markets, Supermarkets, Churches From Sunday 3rd between 6am —6pm daily

BROADCAST TO IMO PEOPLE ON THE EASING OF SOME COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS

My good people of Imo State, once again I salute you for great faith and patience in giving this administration your unalloyed support through the teething challenges that confronted us from the very first day of our inauguration

The sad incidence of coronavirus pandemic has not made our job easier. Yet you have stood by us in swallowing the painful pills of the stringent measures imposed by a lockdown of activities in the state.

I thank you, my beloved Ndimo, for the enormous sacrifices you have made during these four weeks of a general cessation of economic activities in our dear state. It was never my desire that our people should suffer unduly for what is not their fault. However because we are at war with an unknown and unseen enemy, there is need for extra vigilance. We have a duty to keep our people safe from this most frightful, yet unseen enemy, otherwise called Coronavirus. The call to duty informed the lockdown and other stringent measures, we have imposed, for the safety of everyone.

You will recall that I promised a periodic review of these measures. I address you today in fulfillment of that promise

Before outlining the details of the review of restrictions, let me first salute Nigerian workers on this auspicious occasion of workers day. I salute the patience and understanding of all workers in the country in the face of the COVID 19 challenge. Imo workers, especially the state wing of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) have been most understanding and cooperative in this teething period of our administration. I truly appreciate you all. Let me emphatically state that the welfare of workers remains a top priority of this administration. Inspite of the initial delays in salary payments occasioned by our determination to ensure that workers entitlements are not hijacked by a few unscrupulous payroll fraudsters, I assure our workforce that they will have course to smile continually.

We must all understand that although we have not suffered any deaths from corona virus, COVID 19 is a reality and we must continue to observe all the necessary safeguards even as I ease some of the restriction that we have put in Place.

In this regard I wish to announce that effective Sunday May 3rd 2020 all food markets and food vending supermarkets and pharmaceutical shops are permitted to open for business. Large markets will however remain shut.

Massive disinfection of major public places such as markets and public squares is currently on going and will end on Saturday. This informed the date of Sunday as the effective take off date for easing of some of the restrictions in place.

However all boarders into the state remain closed. This means that there is no entry into or exit from the state. In. the unlikely event that any person manages to gain entry into the state, he or she must immediately report to the COVID 19 taskforce for mandatory checks and quarantine. Those who illegally gain entry into the state and those who assist or harbour them shall be arrested and prosecuted.

The wearing of face masks is mandatory by the law of the state. Consequently any person caught without face mask shall be arrested and prosecuted

Also, effective Sunday, May 3rd, 2020 public gatherings not exceeding 50 persons at a time shall be allowed. However the rule of social distancing must be strictly adhered to.

If such gatherings must hold, there must be sufficient provisions for bucket stands for regular washing of hands in running water. Hand sanitizers must also be made available for regular use by the people so gathered. Equally every person in the gathering must wear face mask

The dusk to dawn curfew in the state remains in place. Meaning that there should be no movement from 6pm to 6am everyday till further notice.

It is my sincere hope that the decision to ease restrictions shall not be abused by our people by abandoning the recommended safety measures of regularly washing our hands in running water, sanitizing our hands regularly and maintaining social distancing. Let me emphasize that above all wearing of face masks is a must for every occasion

Once again let me assure you that I share in your pains and frustration. More importantly I also share in your optimism that by God’s grace we shall overcome COVID 19. Yet we must help ourselves so that God can help us

Thank you all and
God bless all of us

Sen. Hope Uzodimma

Get your extra oil now for the Groom is very close.

Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

25:2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Jesus told this parable to his disciples to wake them and prepare them(us) for the second coming of the master, just like he “when the Groom tarried” the foolishness of the 5 virgins were not attached to their virginity, not because they are waywards, not because they don’t want to meet the Groom, nor that they weren’t prepared to meet him.

They were not faulty in all these but they were not ready enough, they didn’t take things too serious, they never planned ahead of time, they were too soft to a journey of honour.

The delay of the Groom bringing it down to our age could have been caused by traffic jam, car break down, or anything else, but those who are coming to the feast should have get ready for the unseen and unexpected.

We are expecting the second coming of Jesus any moment from now. And we have been warned of the signs that will signal his arrival, yet many Christians are in the church unprepared, some are in the church but still steals, drunk, gossips, fornicates, commits adultery, hates, prepare and give poison to people, bear false witness and some are warm, and others cold.

In this lockdown, some Christians has locked themselves out of God, because government gave orders that church should be closed , they raised their banner and sings praise, they have not on their own visit church, some have not called the church leader to know what’s happening, others don’t even pray in their homes let alone conduct church.

Are prepared for the Groom? Are earnestly waiting t his return? Do you have extra oil for your lamp? Is your lamp still burning? Or have you gone out to buy extra oil? I pray the Groom don’t arrive when you are out to buy extra oil.

If Christ appears in this Covid-19 period will be RAPTURED?

Ponder over this and make necessary adjustments.

Black Thursday as 8th floor story building collapsed in Owerri killing scores.

The building that collapsed yesterday at Yar’dua Drive Owerri was approved in 2016 under the administration of former Governor Rochas Okorocha, it was designed to be 7 floor building but was on 8th floor when it collapsed.

The builder is one Chinedu Victor Anujuru.

12 bodies has been rescued already with 2 dead. More search are ongoing. Thanks to OCDA for their efforts and to Governor Hope Uzodinma for providing Ambulances for the rescue team.

On his reaction the chairman Owerri Capital Development Authority, Engr. Emeziem said that the report of the building came to office and they gave out notice to builder to submit himself and the building plans with the approval documents pending the 21 days notice to elapse for him to personally pay visit to the site, before it collapse yesterday.

He said that they are on the trail of the engineer and builder. He therefore asked persons planning to build to come to their office and get the necessary approvals and also amke sure they use certified Engineers to handle their building projects.

On his own former Nigeria Society of Engineers Imo State chapter said that builder violet the rules for fear of making the necessary payment for supervision and monitoring, thereby resorting to use quacks in building properties.

He assure the citizen that henceforth they are embarking on total overhaul of commercial building in Owerri including hotels.

God help us.

Music Career of Late Dr. Sir. Warrior and his Oriental Brothers International.

Dr. Sir is a household name in music in the 70s and late 90s, he was a legend during his music career both local and international.
He started learning and playing guitar in the 60s when he was 11 years and was popular on the traditional band “Ese”.
His popularity and diligence in his traditional music led Oriental brothers band formed and managed by Godwin Kabaka Ọkpara and Dansatch Emeka Opara invited him to their band in 1070s at the age of 15.

Immediately he joined Oriental Brothers he became their lead vocalist and guitarist at times, his sweet voice took Oriental Brother to their peach as they were able to release many songs in 1975 which was vocal by Dr. Sir. Warrior.

Later Oriental Brothers had an internal problem which led to their splitting as: Ichita formed The Great Oriental Brothers International, Oriental Brothers International and then The Original Dr. Sir. Warrior & his Oriental Brothers International (The Oriental Original),which had 12 Platinum and 10 Gold hits in his career.

It will be recalled they Oriental Brothers International Band was she first Nigerian highlife boy band formed after the 3 year devastating Nigeria civil war which ruined the east where the boy came from, hence the “Oriental” meaning the Eastern.
They started in an in-house band at Easy Going Hotels in Owerri own by Chief James “Ewele” Azubike.

The first original Oriental Brothers band international had five members which made them have five fingers in one of their album, the five members are: Godwin Kabaka Okpara, Ferdinand Dansatch Emeka Opara, Livinus Akwilla(Aquila) Alaribe, Fred Ichita Ahumaraeze and Christogonus Ezebuiro “Warrior” Obinna.
Their first split took place in the year 1977, then Kabaka a lead founding member of the Famous Oriental Brothers left and formed Kabaka International Guitar band, immediately Alloy Anyanwu who was a former guitarist to Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe replaced him. In 1978 a mistrust and copyright issues ensued between Dansatch and Warrior on one side and Aloysius Anyanwu on the other side Which ended in libel action. Hmmm.

It was this that led Alloy Anyanwu to form his own band called State Brothers Band. His exit left only Dansatch and Warrior and they recruited other musicians around Owerri and Ghanaian who was residing in Nigeria then to relaunch the band. In 1980 after Obinwanne hit album they both had another dispute and Warrior get hold of the nucleus of the band.

Dansatch now called his own Oriental brothers international led by Ferdinand Emeka Opara.

It was learnt that the Oriental Brothers kept the unity of the Igbos and kept many Igbos sanity after the ugly experience had during the war.
They were the pride of the east and Nigeria at large.

Dr. Sir. Warrior became more popular and travelled more to Europe, America and other African countries, he is unique in his music which is philosophical and educating.
He had many albums to his credit which were popular till date , but the Nwanne awu Enyi his first personal single sold 7.8 million copies in 1978, others are “ofe owerri” ebea jiga ajiga and many more he died in late 90s.

Ogugu the ancestral home of the Igala nation.

Ogugu the Pride of Igala Land
If you are conversant with Kogi State in Nigeria, you will always hear about two major cities that are known by travelers who pass the State in course of reaching out to other states like Kaduna, Nasarawa, Niger State and even Abuja if you are traveling from south east axis.

The major cities that is household in Kofi state are Lokoja and Igala, Lokoja been the State capital, Igala is a traditional home of kogi people.

In Igala land there is a community called Ogugu, Igala speaking people is in Olamaboro Local Government Area of the State. Ogugu people are rich in culture but there is a particular culture they have which other parts of Igala has misunderstood which is called *Ibegwu*(Ancestors).
They believe that their Ancestors watches over their progeny to stop them from doing evil. An example is No Ogugu man will be a party to premeditated murder. The moment he joins he will be arrested by Ibegwu by strucking him with some mysterious ailment, and there will be no cure until he publicly confesses and performs certain rituals for his cleansing.

Another rule from the ancestor is that no married woman should have a sexual affair with another man other than her husband, if she does she suffers the same consequences above.(even though such rule is not for married men as they flirt). A wife is expected to be submissive to her husband at all times and should not do anything with the consent of her husband. They are predominantly farmers.

It was a prominent warrior *”the Mythical Omeppa, Inenyi Ogugu”* who carved out Ogugu.
He also set up a garrison at Opi with other warlords who also contributed to the build up of Igala before the colonial take over of Igbo States. But no other individual in the 18th Century played a major role in the development of Igala land other than Onoja Oboni a slave trader and Legendary Igala warrior.

This was why his personality (Onoja) has been shrouded the mythical imagery over the time now.

He was the son of Eri, the grandson of Aganapoje and also a descendant of one of the Idaho royal families; the priestly sub-clan of Obajeadaka in Okete-achia-attah.
The key areas of his legendary are: he was a master strategist, slave raider and trader, conqueror, coloniser and Imperialist, he is diplomatic, expansionist traits and the acculturation of his conquered territories.

After all these achievements he was able to build himself a mighty walled city in Ogurugu.
He was a respected man till date and his descendants are also respected and he is one man Igala nation will never forget in their history.

Recently University of Nigeria Nsukka confirmed the archaeological findings of the remnant of the ruins of his fort on the ground.
Do your best today for your community and be remembered tomorrow.

How Princess Inikpi OMA IDOKO of Igala Land was buried alive

PRINCESS ÕMA ODOKO WAS BURIED ALIVE TO SAFE IGALA KINGDOM FROM BEING DEFEATED BY THE JUKUN KINGDOM.

Princess Õma odoko was the daughter of Attah Ayegba õma Idoko, the then king of igala kingdom, who was sacrificed to save her father land during the war between the igala kingdom and the jukun kingdom.

Once upon the time! When the prince of jukun kingdom missed his way while hunting, and ran into the igala kingdom. He was there for many months and when he made his intention to go back to his kingdom, known to the Attah of Igala, Attah informed Igala people through his servants that the prince of jukun kingdom wants to return back to his kingdom.

On that note, Attah told his people that since the prince has been here for months, it’s wise they appreciate his staying by giving him whatever gift each and everyone can provide. In line with the king’s instruction, the elders of Igala kingdom gathered enough foodstuffs for him and escorted him down to his kingdom to show their appreciate over his short staying with them. So after a few days, that the prince returned to his kingdom, the elders and the king of jukun had a meeting and said that if the Igala people should give them food like this as an appreciation, in respect of the short sojourned of the in their kingdom, it means their son (prince)has farmed more than this in Igala kingdom.

Therefore, they demanded that Igala people should give them the remaining foodstuffs belonging to their son(prince). Having the knowledge of this antics by his people, the prince of jukun told his father to suspend that move that Igalas, are good people and it was out of their goodness that they decided to give him the foodstuffs to appreciate his staying in their kingdom. And not that he went to farm for them.

He warned the king(his father), over this regrettable action, but the king was adamant on this, and refused to listen to his son and thereby, sent massage to the Attah of Igala, that he should return his son remaining farm’s foodstuffs. On hearing this, the Attah of Igala got provoked and said that because his kingdom showed cares to the prince, the king of jukun is demanding for more foodstuffs? Out of anger, the Attah then asked the elders of Igala kingdom to pupu in their calabashes and gathered as presents to the king of jukun kingdom as what he demanded for.

So, the elders of Igala kingdom set on a journey in the night to present the rubbish to the king of jukun kingdom and returned back that same night to Igala kingdom. The following morning, the king of jukun was happy and so earger to know the content of the presents, he commanded his servants to bring what Igala people brought yesterday night for them to share. The moment they brought the calabashes and discovered that all were full of shit(pupu), the king of jukun perceived it as an insult on this kingdom, and immediately passed massage across to the Attah of Igala, informing him to prepare for war over the insult on his kingdom.

He threatened to defeat him in war, collapsed Igala kingdom into his and turn Igala people as slaves. the then Attah of Igala kingdom was scared of loosing his kingdom to jukun kingdom, he consulted the gods of Igala kingdom and human sacrifice was needed, the choice was princess in the land. then the Attah was left with no other alternative than to inform princess Õma odoko(his Daughter) who was later used for the sacrifice demanded by the gods of Igala kingdom. she was burned alive and her ashes was used to prepared the charm that was use in the river called Inachalo.

Inachalo is the river thorough which the people of Ojuku kingdom were to cross before they could fight in Igala kingdom. So, when they reached the river side, they got tired and was hungry. As a result of this, they drank from the river and eat the fishes wish from the river. After a while, some of them started dying, to drink the water, the water turned to blood because of the charm used on it.

Finally, the remaining people of jukun that did not partake in this action, returned back with the news of calamities that be fell their members to the king.

Ever since then no one could drink water from Inachalo river till date also, eating the eat from Inachalo river is forbidden because no matter how u cooked the fish from that river it will never get done. It will remain fresh because of the sacrifice and charm use on it. That is the End.

This is how Igala kingdom was liberated from being dominated by the jukun kingdom.

Easter: Abịa Speaker Urges Christians To Be Hopeful And Be One Another’s Keeper.

Easter: Abia Speaker urges Christians to be hopeful, look out for one another

…rolls out palliative materials for constituents.

Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji MNSE, has urged Christians not to be daunted by the challenges of the times but that they should “remain hopeful in prayer and supplication to God and look out for one another as taught by our Lord Jesus Christ”.

The Speaker said this on Sunday in his Easter message to Christians as part of activities marking the feast of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He said he understood the challenges the world is facing due to the rampaging coronavirus pandemic but urged all to keep the faith in God who alone understands why the world is facing the rampage at this time.

“No matter what we are facing now, let us know that it cannot be compared with the power in the Resurrection a and the glorious reward that awaits us. With faith and continued prayers, I believe very strongly that this Easter season will usher in a new era of healing, recovery and wholesomeness for all. This, too, shall pass”, he said.

Rt Hon Orji also used the occasion to ask Christians to always be their brother’s keeper especially at this time. “As true Christians, we must abide by the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ which enjoins us to share with each other joyfully. It is in light of this that I have also rolled out palliatives for the good people of my constituency, Umuahia Central State Constituency, to cushion the effect of the lockdown on them. These relief materials shall be distributed to the needy irrespective of party affiliation or even religious leanings. It is my own humble way of sharing with them as brother’s and sisters in the Lord”, he declared.

He further urged the people to keep observing the regulations and protocols established by government in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and keep praying for all leaders in the country and Abia State using the Governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, as a point of contact to reach others, for God to keep endowing them with wisdom and strength to continue to lead the State in the path of peace, progress and prosperity.
