The Last Word On Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s Agitation…

By: Chief Chris AniedobeThe Nigerian Biafran civil war of 1967 to 1970 was merely a crater on the long running road of Igbo holocaust that has lasted since 1953.After landlocking the Igbos, chopping off their territorial boundaries, killing well over three million in the Biafran holocaust, followed by on going military occupation of Igbo land, and persistent state backed police despoilation of Igbos, overtopped with continuing threat of genocide,
the least the world can do is hear about it.Holocaust survivors devote the rest of their lives to relentless pursuit of justice against their persecutors assisted by humans of good conscience worldwide who are determined to erase that blythe of unrequited wanton killings of fellow mankind. The on running Igbo holocaust deserves the attention of the world no less even if the Igbos themselves, fatigued and weary, have failed in their duty to commit themselves to relentless pursuit of justice.Mass murderers and child killers are celebrated in their home country, monuments are named after these Genocidists, and the fury of ethnic hate never ceases to rear its head against the docile Igbos.Black lives matter. If the Igbos were not black, Biafran holocaust would not be a mere footnote in the pages of history. It is a whole chapter of White assisted black on black genocide. One holocaust survivor named Nnamdi Kanu has made it his life’s ambition to put back Biafran holocaust in the world’s lexicon where it rightfully belongs. He can be heard wailing in anger and bitterness against not just Nigeria but against a world where black lives don’t matter.Any human being who has issues with Kanu’s righteous rage borders from insensitive to insane. How can a holocaust survivor not be seized with rage when the perpetrators of same holocaust are not only walking free, have shown no remorse, and threaten more holocaust against emotionally downtrodden Igbos who have lost the zeal for armed confrontation. But here comes an unarmed Kanu, baying into cyberspace, using language calculated to shock the conscience of the world to an evil it once ignored. No greater duty has a holocaust survivor than cry for justice and if necessary, die crying for it. No greater love has a man for his people than he wills to lay down his life for them.Kanu can rage and wail so long as he bears no arms against anybody and if it bothers you, stick your fingers deep inside your eardrums. If Black lives truly matter to the world, then the Biafran holocaust deserves no less attention than all the other holocausts. This is Kanu’s point and if you disagree, get back in the zoo where you rightfully belong and wait for provisions from the zoo keepers.I am a Biafran holocaust survivor. It is an indelible reality in my life and I not only appreciate, I endorse Kanu’s righteous indignation. He is an Igbo original, crying out against social injustice, as our forefathers would have. This current generation of Igbos need to wake up. We were frontline in Slave lives matter. From Haiti to plantations in America, Igbo slaves tugged at the conscience of the world until slavery was abolished. We must continue tugging at that conscience for Black lives until it matters everywhere. To be clear, as a Christian, I abhor the shedding of blood, even of my enemies. Reconciliation is better, forgiveness is divine, absence of resentment brings enduring peace. I understand all that but I cannot in good conscience gag the mouth of anyone crying out against injustice even if I would have preferred a different choice of words.MY RESPONSE TO CHRIS ANIEDOBE ARTICULATED MASTER PIECE👇🏾I am speechless. Chief Chris Aniedobe for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you. But the power of God which dwells in you.The spirit of our ancestors and those who’s blood still cry out for justice shall intercede for you. You and your generation yet unborn shall stand on the Abrahamic blessing forever. It shall be well with you. Speak the truth for thy people heareth.I just want to pass on that blessing in accordance with the tradition of our elders, holders of the scepter “offor” blessing those who have made their ancestors and humanity proud.Chris O. Igbos Should Not Be Apologetic for Doing Good!

By: Chris O. Maduka

Igbos Are Not As Bad As Other Tribe Profile Them

Some of us think or believe that publicizing some of the numerous positive giant strides made by Igbos are Wrong.

HERE’S THE WARNING FROM CHIEF JOE IKUNNA THE COORDINATOR OF IGBO INTELLIGENTSIA FORUM DUE TO ONE PUBLICATION OF RECORD BREAKING ACADEMIC RECORDS OF THE IGBOS IN AMERICA.👇🏾

“This is how we bring hate to ourselves. Why couldn’t the post simply mention the number of Nigerians. Where is our political correctness. Why can’t we avoid being disliked.”
-Chief Ikunna.

MY RESPONSE:👇🏾

Chief JCI, am tired of all these renewed effort at being Mr Nice guy. Bring what hate you said? From who? and to whom?

Please about time people realize that there’s nothing you do to appease the one riding on a bicycle and he’ll not show you his ugly back side on his departure.

I think am getting tired of trying to whittle myself to fit the profile and narrative of people that some of them simply can’t get past not just hating me, but simply wishing me nothing but total diminish and disappearance from the face of the earth. And that’s not just possible.

And let me even make a prediction here for those who seem to appeal for this appeasement which I’ve been part of, still can’t see any corresponding reciprocal attitude change. Instead we see renew offensive of obsolete negative and repulsive attitude that has left us in the quagmire we find ourselves in the Southern Nigeria.

And verily verily I say unto you that; if indeed this country will turn a new leaf , through restructuring, or any other possible alteration of the status quo, it will not come because the Yorubas some how changed their minds to stop disliking or distrusting the Igbos in the South. It will come due to the exigencies of the global geopolitics that is beyond the control of the local players.

Just the same way the Berlin conference took place without the input of the Africans, so shall it be when the Nigerian final status will be determined. How that will play out is not clearly defined yet.

Therefore our focus today and going forward must be to structure the narrative that appeals to that idea. It is our responsibility to be bold enough to make strategic alliances that will position us as viable partners in the unfolding future which must definitely take into account the post Covid-19 isolation and containment of China going forward.

That’s why the renewed interest in the American politics and election regardless of which side anyone is, and I thin it’s a welcomed development. Because if the cold-war era alliances is a guide, it then means that new alliances will be made as the old are crumbling fast.

So my friend, we need to blow our own trumpet as loud as we can. We need to be bold and less timid with these local champions.
There’s nothing absolutely wrong with that. Nobody will do these things for you if you fail to do that.

When they peddle negative news about you, what are they trying to achieve ? They are trying to de-market you as the bonafide citizens of the world. Your duty is to do the direct opposite.

I have an Igbo woman who married Yoruba; Both are my food friends. They had a daughter, soon after the man walked away leaving the child with the mother who later trained her to become a lawyer and a pilot. Then suddenly the Ondo state government and the entire tribe made headlines out of this. It was so sad the woman reached out to me, so I had to tacitly remind the audience that followed on the social media that this is also our daughter.

I can guarantee you that if it was all negative somewhere the media must mention “Igbo mother”. Abike Dabiri will ensure that his ethnicity is boldly amplified.

We’ve all stood by and watch helplessly as the Revisionist and the South-West media have made us the poster boys and girls of all manners of illegalities and evil. We are now wearing the badge of rituals, kidnaping, fraud, fake items, greed and you name it. This is happening while we are ambivalent as we are being damaged.

Meanwhile all the things they accuse us and associate with the Igbos they are the grandmasters at. Is it rituals? This has been in existence since time immemorial. Unknown to so many the South-West is the Mecca of rituals and human sacrifices.

After all we don’t have a moment that the public are warned to stay in doors because some morbid stuff is going in the midnight or they are burying a traditional ruler. It doesn’t happen in the South-East.

But go to South-West., even the city like Lagos, you dare not venture into some areas at certain time if the year or during certain occasions.

Same as Ogboni, same as body parts dry and wet sold in open markets across the Southwest till this day. It is not attracting attention because it is well embedded into their primordial life and they’ve learned to live with it. Including the mega churches with their GOs. They’ve learned to quietly live side by side with these things we are associated with.

For fraud, investigate and confirm. There’s really no thriving Igbo fraudster, internet or otherwise that do not have a Yoruba partner , boss or someone he learned the trade from.

When it comes to fraud the Igbos are mere apprentices and new in the game. The Yorubas started from their grand fathers. That’s why it has the Yoruba code name; ODDU’. And it goes beyond just the internet of today. Just investigate and find out how all the previous multinationals they inherited after the war went bankrupt.

Dunlop, Bata, so many to mention. In the case of Dunlop, it was the same Mr. Lawuyi that deliberately ran it aground that turned around and bought over the foam, rubber, gum and much more leaving only the tire, which they turned around and killed just to inherit the huge real estate and properties that belong to Dunlop. Am not just gisting you.

I was a member of team that was engaged by Dr Ajayi the Marketing Director to turn around the Dunlop tires dwindling revenue and lost of market share, look further and see who turned around and cornered the most lucrative assets of the dismembered fraud induced companies.

This has become so problematic that most foreign companies now look for managers from Midwest down to the old Eastern region.

By the way, how come the Igbos have not made any single noise about the billions they’ve lost in the grandest property fraud in the world. The Lagos Omo’Ni’le land racketeering fraud that is so well entrenched in the system.

Can you imagine the Yorubas losing billions in land and property fraud as the Igbos have in Lagos? By now we all would’ve been all land fraudsters.

No sane people or society will ever allow these malicious attacks that reduces ones human essence and worth. Yet that’s what these guys have perennially engaged in with the Igbos.

If anyone doubts this, then publish something negative about Saudi Arabia or Israel and see how ferociously they will react with everything in their power.

Or just attempt disputing the claim that the Saudis have the biggest oil deposit and the capacity to bring to the global market place and see how they will react. These things do matter.

Femi Adesina And Propaganda Taken Too Far

By: Chris Maduka

I don’t know why people are expecting the cassette recorder to repeat anything other than what it is recorded or programed to say.

Femi Adesina, Lai Mohammed and all their crew are the best people for the Job. Lai Mohammed, VP Osinbajo, and this goofy looking Femi guy among others seem to be graduates of APC school of ignorant and boldfaced propagandist with streak of dictatorship. Granted measured or certain level of propaganda is part of governance.

But in this case, these guys even lies when the truth is staring them in their faces. They’ve simply taken propaganda and lies to a whole new unprecedented level. It has to do with dictatorial tendencies. Because what a dictator owes you is to reluctantly tell you the lies that they crafted and your obligation as an oppressed fellow is to take it or leave it. It makes no difference at all. You’ve been told, and it does not matter how preposterous and dumb what you are told you must accept it.

This attitude even comes with a subliminal threats of you better believe it or DSS….hmmmThat’s what we are getting from the current Aso Rock and APC leadership. If Nigerians say hunger is killing them, they will come out the same day to say Nigerians are so over fed we need to ship the left over food to Timbuktu.

In fact, people are encouraged to engage in physical exercise to lose some weight occasioned by Nigeria Government assisted over feeding. When Nigerians say they are in darkness due to the failed government ability to provide basic Infrastructure. They double talking bold faced lie peddling crew will tell them that there has been uninterrupted power supply since this administration came into power. And when you listen carefully while he’s saying this on channels or NTA you will hear the sound of the giant generator buzzing at the background.

The same thing comes daily from the Radio house Abuja the headquarter of the Nigeria insane propaganda tower where Lai Mohammed office is located.
You will also hear Femi’s family telling him that the reason why he could not reach them last night was because their phone battery went flat and there was no fuel to power the generator to charge the phone. Yet he’s on the live television show telling them that there has been uninterrupted power supply since the assume power in 2015.If you doubt it, they will call the Minister of Mines and power who still believe that he has better credibility than the others to come and use his legal background to explain why the power generation has been dropping.

Former Governor Fashola will now tell you how President Jonathan made a blunder, by shutting down Shoriro and Kainji Dam due to his lack of courage, but now the military commander president has ordered them to open the dam for operation. When reminded that it has still not been opened, his face showing frustration, he will say; look these things takes time. Oh Really! He forget that he said that any Governement that could not fix power in four years is an irresponsible government.

Wooo!Same Femi and Osinbajo will tell you that Nigeria is so secured that everyone should simply leave their doors open, go about their businesses in their farms, because this government led by a general is now fully secured and crime free. And when asked how? He said the criminals and the terrorists read their boss body language and behaved.

When the reporter pressed further to explain what he imply by the President’s body language since such language has not been able to light the electric bulbs or make those carrying the AK 47 to drop their guns,, Femi in his usual hubris and village local champion personality will now resolve to scolding the reporter and the rest of Nigerians for being dumb and ignorant.
He will accuse all of us for pretending to lack the ability to read and interpret their Oga boss’s simple body language which his Boss prefers as a better means of communication with the nation hence he hardly utter any single word to the nation even when it becomes so compelling to do so.

Instead the same Lai Mohammed and Femi Adesina will again play a tape recorder for us.Meanwhile, while they are telling us how secured the country is, they are wishing they are younger to join Amotékun. (The SoutWest self help reactionary security outfit).

Introduced after being in denial and even opposing other regions for trying to secure their region. Accusing them of threatening the Unity of this great nation.
But since they cannot join as limited by age, they’ve since encouraged their unemployed cousins in the villages to join to better protect their region as they realized that they will soon leave office and return home. But they are on television telling the rest of Nigerians how secured the country under the leadership of the Strong leader that take security so seriously all the existential threats are a thing of the past and those complaining of security challenges are just hallucinating and are all attempting to give this administration a bad name.
It has been one of the most degenerative and saddest time in the history of governance in Nigeria and honestly in the world. Continue to listen and believe these guys to your peril. But I cannot blame Femi and those paid to do a job. You cannot tell them to do otherwise other than the job they are paid handsomely to do.

To expect such simply amounts to expecting the highest sacrifice based on highly elevated moral purity that is only consistent with high ranking people in the calibrated anatomy of human consciousness. When in reality these guys rate very very low and shouldn’t have been any where near the position of public service.Sad moment for Nigeria.

Chris Maduka Replies Eric Teniola Says His List Tells A Different Story From The Revisionists.

By Chris O Maduka

ERIC TENIOLA has spoken. The list Tells a different story from the Revisionists claim.

This is really incredible. But there is one clear observation here that need to be pointed out for obvious reasons. Because at times truth can be revealed in a and confirmed in a serendipitous way.

Just few months ago, there was this spurious nonsense news mostly driven or propagated in the social media by a Revisionist. A deliberate false misinformation by the SouthWest/Yoruba revisionists. A clear attempt to misinform the younger generation about the history they denied them today.

They claimed that the Igbos dominated the government of the First Republic because their Son late Rt. Hon. Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe was the President albeit “ceremonial” position as the real power resided with the Prime Minister Late Sir.Tafawa Balewa.

They claimed that despite dominating those positions that they were still not satisfied so they proceeded to carry out a coup.
Let’s pause for a moment and go through that list presented by Eric Teniola, Yes another Yoruba man under a different scenario and story and it became clear that the story that went round was a mere calculated work of mischief makers to create the impression that will inspire hate and resentment of the Igbos. Something some people have made their lifetime career.

Sadly some of our people think that these their evil behaviour of somersaulting facts on its head is are mere benign actions, but it is not. It is a clear case of calling a dog a bad name in order to hang it. And hang it they’ve done in the pogrom and genocide of the 60s that took millions of lives of the Igbos.

Now just yesterday, I saw a video tape of the Yoruba mechanic Union at the Ladipo motor spare parts mechanic village in Lagos making a fool out of themselves lamenting about being dominated by the Igbos, “same old rallying cry they’ve peddled for decades now” , Calling on their god Bola Ahmed Tinubu to come to their rescue. I watched and was taken aback because having been to the Ladipo market with huge Igbo presence, there’s no area officially assigned to the Igbos to carryout their commercial activities. The business cluster evolved naturally through their dint of hard work, sacrifice and delayed gratification to get the Motor spare parts market where it is today. They spent heavily on rents and improvement of the properties in which the beneficiaries are the same Yorubas land lords and caretakers.

Contrary to the Yoruba mechanics and their leaders that were shouting in that video of Igbo domination, they were actually assigned a place under the high tension wires ” a federal government free-zone” most have come to claim ownership as landlords, to do their own trade of auto mechanics and repairs which they dominated nearly 100%. If you have been to Ladipo you can easily observe the very cordial working division of labour among them there.

The Yorubas will diagnose the automobile, prescribe the spare-parts and at times even recommend his Igbo strategic partner you will get the parts from, at times with pre agreement of considerable markups for him. But they will be the first to tell you how dubious the Igbo parts sellers are even though they are collaborators and co conspirators in that scheme which is all parts of doing business.

So I can only see the allegation of Igbo dominance in Ladipo as part of the same old sentiments driven by what’s obvious jealousy and the inability to compete effectively even where they have a clear advantage to do so.

The case of Alaba International is even more interesting and inspiring. But the main street media will not tell the story. Put it simply; there will be no thriving Nigeria entertainment industry that has taken the world by the storm, both our smashing hit musical industry and the Nollywood without the unsung and unknown faces of Alaba Igbo business men that have the vision and the courage to single handedly finance and promote those ventures when no one, not even the government gave them a chance. Infact, they were discouraged at every single step by the government.

Don’t take my words for it, just go and ask Timaya, Don Jazzy, D banj. Go and see who financed the catalyst movie: “Living in bondage” that started it all, and you’ll begin to appreciate these people they love to hate.

It is a similar case all across Lagos. From the Balogun market, Idumota, Alaba International, Coker Building Materials market, Trade-fare and the evolving Ikate printing hub and many more. It is the same story.

While they shout and cry, trying to eat their cakes and turn around to have it all over again, nobody has made the calculation of how many billions the same Yorubas have reaped on rent money in dilapidated properties that are worthless else where in other parts of Nigeria. Nobody had made the calculation of how many billions the same Igbos have lost in what’s arguably the most organized land and property racketeering fraud in Africa. The Omo’nile land scamming that has reaped so many Igbos off inn dubious property transactions.

There need to be a study on how that has helped to strengthen the Yorubas, especially some of the elder ones that rely solely on those heavy revenues that come steadily from the Igbo tenants they love to hate. And with that figure and the overwhelming positive social impact they may think twice when next they disparage the Igbos and demand their eviction from the Lagos territory they may not be indigenous to, but are serious stakeholders that cannot be wished away.

The case of Alaba International is an interesting one. Because I personally remember when they were sent down to what was once a very heavily waterlogged swampy Everglades with some of the most dangerous reptiles in Ojo Alaba. Perhaps as a punishment or to discourage them. They sent them away from Orile Iganmu side down to middle of no where. But today, it is truly a different story that has brought in billions to the curffers of the Lagos state government.

Yes, When you hear Lagos IGR being the highest and some people beating their chest, it is all thanks to these Igbo conceived and created heavily commercial areas that have so helped to stabilize the Lagos/ Nigerian economy even while being discouraged with multiple taxations, shakedown from security agents and hoodlums, and deliberate bad policies aimed at stifling them. Yet through it all they prevailed and continue to thrive

You may have heard of the Igbos peddling fake products, that’s the bad name they’ve given to a people that some of the leading Management and business schools around the world are now studying their business and economic model as it defied the conventional wisdom and everything they teach in business schools. The conventional wisdom and education will rather implore and encouraged all to decimate and destroy competitors. The Igbo business model does the opposite. It instead encourages competitors they will establish themselves, by the Big-Men or ‘Oga’ in line with the Igbo primordial nature of ‘live and let me live’ and inherent responsibility of ensuring that one established someone before they can truly be recognized and respected as a true son of the land.

This scheme very peculiar to the Igbos is now believed to be the biggest Business mentorship and Angel startup scheme in the world. We call it apprenticeship or (Igbaboy). This is also the reason why Anambra, specifically Nnewi can boast of more Millionaires than any other area of the same size in the entire African continent and I stand to be corrected.

So, as much as the revisionists may try, as much as they want to create these negative impressions and inspire hate and resentment, they cannot stop what’s clearly inherent nature of this dynamic people.

Below is Eric Teniola’s List of best past Politicians.

With the demise of Chief Richard Osuolale Abimbola Akinjide (1931-2020) all Ministers, except Alhaji Ganiyu Folorunsho Abdul Razak (93) and Chief Jacob Cheogbu Obande (98) who served in the first Republic under Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa (1912-1966),GCFR, have answered the final call. For better or for worse we have missed them. Notable Ministers that we have missed included Dr Moses Adekojeyo Majekodunmi (1916-2012), Dr. Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe (1917-1990), Alhaji Muhammadu Ribadu (1910-1965), Alhaji Nuhu Bamali (1917-2001), Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Wada (1917-2015), Alhaji Zanna Bukar Suloma Dipcharima (1917-1969), Alhaji Usman Maitambari (1917-1977), Alhaji Ibrahim Tako (1916-1979),Alhaji Usman Sarki (1920-1984), Chief Moses Aransiola Onilearan Olanrewaju (1916-1966), Alhaji Waziri Kolo Ibrahim(1926-1992), Alhaji Ibrahim Imam(1916-1980), Chief E.O. There were those who never served as Ministers but who served this country meritoriously. Among these were Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, GCFR, (1904-1996), Chief Obafemi Awolowo (1909-1987), GCFR, Surveyor A.O. Lawson, Dr. Russel Aliyu Barawu Dikko (1912-1977), Chief Gabriel Akindeko, Chief Reuben Fasanranti(94), Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Alhaji Tanko Yankasai (95), Olufunmilayo Ransome-Kuti (1906-1978), Alhaji Aliyu Makama Bida (1907-1980), Alvan Azimwa Ikoku (1900-1971), Professor Eyo Ita (1902-1972), Dr. Lyabo Bekimbo Graham-Douglas (1926-1983), Chief Patrick Doktri , Sir Samuel Jereton Marriere (1907-1971), Chief Joseph Sarwuan Tarka (1932-1980), Ibrahim Imam, Chief Arthur Edward Prest (1906-1976), Mazi Mbonu Ojike (1914-1956), Chief Anthony Eromosele Enahoro(1923-2010), Chief Harold Jeniwari Dappa Biriye (99), Chief Wenike Oparum Briggs (1917-1987), Chief Iwong Inyamegun Murphy, Sir Joseph Odeleye Fadahunsi (1901-1986), Dr. Okoi Arikpo (1916-1992), Chief Babatunji Olowofoyeku (1917-2003), Chief L.J. Dosunmu, Dr. S.E. Imoke, Chief Mojeed Agbaje, S.O. Ighodaro, S. Gbadamosi and others.
Whatever opinion we have on them most of them are gone. I still think their type of politics was far better than the era of looting that we now have. Yes, they disagreed on party principles but they did not make looting of public funds their primary aim and only objective. If there was looting of public fund during their era, it was like boys scout compared to what we see today. A least they left something behind for us, I wonder what we are going to leave behind for our children and grandchildren. Some of them regrettably, did not have a shelter over their heads before they passed on. They were not concerned about that at all, for public service was not an avenue to loot the treasury. That is their understanding of public service. Were they to come back, they will find it so difficult to understand why a public officer, either as a politician in the public service with a fixed monthly salary could own houses in their villages, state capitals, Abuja, Lagos possibly in Dubai or London and with fleet of cars in the garages of those houses. With all their years in public service and direct access to the treasury, how many properties and houses did Sir Ahmadu Bello (1909-1966), Sir Michael Iheonukara Okpara (1920-1984),Alhaji Muhammadu Aminu Kano (1920-1983), Chief Michael Adekunle Ajasin (1908-1997), Sir Shettima Kashim Ibrahim (1910-1990), Sir Francis Akanu Ibiam (1906-1995), Alhaji Dauda Shoroye Adegbenro (1909-1975), Sir Francis Akanu Ibiam, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa (1912-1966),GCFR, Chief Christopher Akifosile and others leave behind?
In particular I want to refer to Dr. Michael Iheonukara Okpara who succeeded, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe as Premier of Eastern Nigeria on the 19th of December, 1959. The old Eastern Nigeria now consist of nine states namely Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa-Ibom, Cross Rivers, Imo, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Abia states. Dr. Okpara was Premier of Eastern Region between 1959 to 1966. After the civil war he fled into exile and was there for nine years. He returned to Nigeria in penury. On his return, his biographer, Mr. Chris Ofodile wrote that his personal assets at the time he returned from exile consist of “his home in his native village of Umuegwu Okpuala and a “back-house” standing on his plot of land along Ogui Road, Enugu, still occupied by squatters.” He further wrote “Dr Okpara’s village residence in Umegwu Okpuala is located only about a hundred metres from his own father’s modest bungalow which used to be his home before the war. It is a well-designed, modern one-storey building set in the middle of a spacious walled compound that spots freshly planted trees and sprouting flowers. His wife, Adanma, had worked very hard to build the house during his absence in exile. M.I. says she was assisted by Chief Nwadinobi and a number of other friends who wanted him to live in a decent house whenever he returned from exile. But he says Adanma worked literally night and day to make sure that the house was completed. Dr. Okpara enjoys spending time among his people in the village and ministering to their needs, especially in health care which he presides over at his clinic in his father’s house nearby. He is in love with the village and the villagers, and if he makes an appointment to see you, he is careful to ensure that you are through with him before it is time for the village elders to begin to arrive “to see their son”. If you had not seen a famous son of your village for nine years, some times you feel you have to see him several times over in order to be sure that he is indeed the one—especially if you had feared for his safety all those years.”
According to the former Minister of Agriculture, Lt. General Alani Julius Ipoola Akinrinade (80) on page 211 of his book titled “MY DIALOGUE WITH NIGERIA”, “the democracy we have now is democracy of looting and non-performance”.

The name of the child is Chioma Ogbu (Female). Aged: 9 years.

This is the face of the wicked and evil uncle that disfigured that poor innocent girl I recently posted. His name is Hillary Apeh, a 40 year old man. The event took place at 3-3 junction, Maryland estate, Onitsha Anambara state.

That man shouldn’t be walking around as if he hasn’t done anything, arrest that man immediately. I believe Nigeria’s police won’t keep calm on this. Keep sharing this post until he’s brought to book.

Rev. Dr. Charles C.Osueke, The Pride Of Assemblies Of God Nigeria

By: Rev. Dr. Nathan Paul-Udeze

MATT.7:16-20
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

CHECK THE FRUITS.
All it takes to know who a man really is, is the fruits he bears. Some are desperate to impress people with whom they are, so they are one thing in the public and another thing in the private. One event doesn’t make a man, it takes years of consistency and several events in a particular order to properly tell who a man is. In the words of the scripture, “every good tree brings forth good fruits..”

A good tree does not bring forth good fruits for a year and the next year bring forth evil fruits. A good tree is consistent, likewise, a corrupt tree. In ASSEMBLIES OF GOD NIGERIA, if all the dead and the living that ever attended AG gather at one spot and you mention the name Brother Osueke, each person would lift their heads with pride and joy. He inspires hope and joy because of his consistent Christ-centered lifestyle. AG knows only an Osueke who preached holiness, lives and practised holiness.

THE WISHES OF A CORRUPT TREE.
When a man is adulterous for instance, he insists that there are others like him who preach against adultery yet they practice it. We never heard that Daddy Osueke was immoral and corrupt until he stood up against immorality and arrogant, proud and autocratic leadership in AG. Suddenly, after over over forty years of uninterrupted ministry, he became evil, immoral and ambitious.

Shockingly, as soon the duo became partners, Osueke became their target. You remembered that at the last days of the later, he quickly went to the former, knelt down and reconciled with the man AG excommunicated under his chairmanship in the presence and approval of over 8,000 ministers, thereby despised the sacredness of his office as GS while he came back and accepted his suspension for appearance of evil. Why would you allow an excommunicated man to pray for you? What a betrayal of the church? If there are anything to apologize, should you not have first apologized to the Church and the 8,000 ministers? He went for reconciliation after he had enjoyed the goodies that accrued from his excommunication. Is there something he was not telling us?

Now, both of them have one spokesman! They both entered agreement which from every indication is the offshoot of this evil attack on the person and reputation of the greatest son of Assemblies of God Nigeria, Rev Dr Charles C. Osueke.

IN THE SIGHT OF AGN.
Assemblies of God Nigeria knows their leaders and they hold them in the highest esteem. Dr Charles Osueke in the sight of AG represents stability, integrity, creativity, progress, unity, acceptability and accuracy in leadership and sound biblical doctrine. His offence is that he would not standby and watch while the Church goes astray.

Can you imagine twenty two years of no crisis inspite of being elected the GS at the tender years of 48 years old? That is, in a Church where he met more elderly ministers and members before him. In a Church, where he met various serious court cases on ground without resolve before he took the mantle of leadership. Yet, he weather the storm and came to the port unspent. The twenty two years AG would never forget, where the Church carved out her name in the community of churches in Nigeria as it concerned major evangelistic thrust, gigantic projects like Evangel International conference centre, Evangel University, Evangel General Council Headquarters and so many others.

At this point, nobody ever thought of an AG Gen. Supt. holding midnight meetings with occult groups in Enugu just to impose himself on the church and manipulate everybody nor an AG GS being associated with multiple sexual escapades. How many of you can remember ever seeing Dr Osueke without his wife in any events both in Nigeria and outside? If ever, how many times? I just can’t remember except while he was in his office and maybe, his wife may come much later. Is that the man that any sensible person would accuse of immorality just because he said no to leadership of impunity?

THE GENESIS
I have been in the both sides of the fences and I can tell you so much with details. Immediately after march 6th 2014, I was invited by the excommunicated GS and his wife. They wanted me to write everything I can about Dad. Osueke and one of them was that they have enough evidence that he committed adultery. I asked the nature of the evidence but they couldn’t provide any.

I knew such was a grievous accusation and the AG I was born into do not swallow anything without evidence. So I refused to write on it, rather I continued to vet my anger on what happened on march 6th which at that point wasn’t acceptable to me but that didn’t go down well with them. Their greatest interest was to cast aspersions on the person and integrity of Dad. Osueke. It has been quite a while and they final found a poor wretched window of expression.

WHY IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!
(1)Daddy Osueke had no child for the first 13years of marriage yet there was no rumours of immorality or infidelity. If a man was not desperate for a child for the first 13 years of his marriage, is it possible that he became desperate after God gave him his own seed?
(2) AGN of the 80’s, 90’s and even a major part of the 2000’s would investigate every rumour and finally suspend a person based only on appearance of evil, just to be on a safer side. Their pursuit of holiness was total and exclusive, no one lived as he wished.
(3) Daddy Osueke as a leader was never soft with issues of morality,he even disciplined some of his close aliens, who knew him too well; there was no way such secret of his would have been wept under the carpet, if they were true.
(4) A woman who gave birth to two sons for a man secretly and finally could not have her own children cannot be hidden. By now, she would have been a torn in the flesh. No woman can knowingly pretend she has no children while her biological children are doing well oversees and her secret husband is pretending that he is holy. That’s not possible! One could have even dared to give such stupidity a thought except for the fact that the excommunicated GS boldly wrote that the woman could not have her own children.
(5) Friends, when a man has lost consciousness of heaven, he often thinks that God is a liar.No man can carry the vessel of God like Dr. Osueke did and live in secret sin. God cannot be mock! Check any man without the fear of God, they often end in a shocking and alarming downfall.
(6) If you said, you investigated before you penned down such grievous and silly accusation, please, be bold enough and tell us where you went to do your investigation. The name of the woman, at least, you have said worst things than that. Tell us the church she presently attends and the names of her Pastor.
(7) Now that it obvious that you hate Osueke, you can at least, mention the names of the woman’s husband, so that an investigation would be forced on Osueke because no man would keep quiet on such accusation on a woman that fell to give him even a child but for another man two children.

A LYING TONGUE SHALL PERISH!
(1)I left TST and that brought unrecoverable shivering shock within the breadth and width of their concave. When they didn’t know what they could accuse me, shamefully but very unfortunately, they accused my late father, Rev. N.U Obitulata of being caught in adultery two years before his death twenty seven years ago.

They said the matter was brought before Owerri District presbytery were my father served and my father denied. Then, the presbytery handed him over to God to judge him and two years later, God killed my father.

The truth was that three years before my father’s death, he was off and on in the hospital. He was never accused of immorality and all throughout his life, he never appeared before any presbytery on account of any accusations of any nature. He served faithfully and meritoriously and went to be with the Lord as a result of his illness of 20 years.

(2) Recently, were all shocked to hear that our beloved Acting General Superintendent, Rev Pastor Ejikeme Ejim was not properly married. He was accused by the same man that he impregnated his wife before wedding, so the Church decided not to wed them as a result. So many people thought it was true until last two weeks when the AGS celebrated their 46 years of wedding anniversary and posted their wedding pictures and no one heard a word from the liar.

THE CRUISE OF THE MATTER!
On 6th March 2014, the Executive Committee of AGN in a special General committee session suspended and later in a General Council in session rectified that suspension to excommunication as a result of irresponsible leadership and abuse of office. The excommunicated GS rejected the ecclesiastical correction of love and formed an army of rebels to fight the church. A fight which have come to futility on all fronts and now have turned his rebel group as accusers of brethren.

OUR COLLECTIVE RESOLVE!
(1) The church resolves that no individual is greater than the whole church no matter how highly placed such individual maybe.
(2) While the church is not at war with anyone yet we shall not sacrifice our spiritual in heritage on the altar of peace and harmony with any individual.
(3) No amount of blackmail, hate speeches and physical attack will distract us from focusing wholly on the great commission.
(4) The church remains the hope and the light of the world, we shall continue to pray for our enemies within and outside church.
(5) The church is open and always willing to forgive anyone that comes to his senses in repentance including the excommunicated GS.

Abike Dabiri Should Tell Us The Tribe Where This Hardened Internet Criminal Is From As He Did To Igbos.

HUSHPUPPI: CRIMINALS HAVE NO TRIBE. THEY SHAME ALL OF US…
By Fred Chukwueluka

I recall Abike Dabiri-Ereuwa, of the Diaspora Affairs office, taking to social media to tag criminals, who were arrested overseas “in the line of duty”, as Igbo instead of Nigerians. I recall the backlash that followed that infamous and shameful tagging by a federal government official.

Folks of other tribes and ethnic stock took to social media to lampoon Igbos with their ignorance, hate, jealousy and stereotyping.

I remember warning them to be careful because criminals don’t have tribes or ethnicity, but are criminals and they shame all of us.

Ramoni Akanni, aka Hushpuppi, is a Nigerian who has made so much money via internet fraud, the one we call Yahoo Yahoo. He is not an Igbo man. And the internet is quiet because he’s not Omo Igbo.

He fleeced the American government of $100m. Yes, one hundred million dollars. No tagging, except from those who are “retaliating”.

He went on a spending spree, bought a $500,000 2020 Rolls Royce and took to Instagram to celebrate his obscene wealth.

He is always on the internet displaying his loot. And nobody asked questions as to the source of his wealth. And as they say, “nobody asked questions when he was poor”. Therefore, nobody should when he gets “rich”.

I have read many posts on this guy. It reminds me of the warning I posted after some Igbo boys were picked up for similar offences: Invictus Okeke, and many others.

Some tribal jingoistic elements took to Facebook to mock Igbos and accuse us of “liking/loving money too much that we can do anything to make money”.

Each time I check the lists of thieves, looters, ritualists, killers, kidnappers, agberoes, liers, wicked people, lying pastors, lying priests, name them, I see Igbo names; Yoruba names; Hausa/Fulani names; Ijaw, Efik, Ishekieri, Tiv, Biron, Nupe, Bini, names, etc.

But because some people cannot hide their hate for a people, once an Igbo man is caught in crime, they go on the offensive. Bayo Onanuga of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) will tag them: Igbo man bla bla bla.

But today, they’re quiet. Nobody is talking or writing. Like in the US, like in Nigeria. Hatred is everywhere. Racism is as bad as tribalism. Injustice in Nigeria is the same injustice elsewhere.

But that’s a topic for another day.

Today, I want all of us to know that Hushpuppi, a Yoruba man, like other Igbos caught in this crime, has shamed all of us – Nigerians. The World knows only Nigeria and Nigerians. And for now it includes you, me, them.

Akanni has smeared the millions of Nigerians working hard to earn decent living with this terrible brush. He has further damaged our already battered image.

When next you encounter an Oyibo man and he treats you with suspicion or when next you’re denied something by an Oyibo man, remember the Hushpuppis of this world caused it.

These stupid and idiotic criminal elements think the world works like Nigeria where stealing is no “big deal”; where criminals are celebrated and rewarded instead of being punished; where nobody asks questions as to the source of people’s wealth.

They think Americans are corrupt to the extent that they can be bought off from the huge sums stolen. They’re mistaken.

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has painstakingly launched an investigation on this thief, and has picked him up. What remains now is to prosecute him and send him to jail where he rightly belongs.

The luck he has is that American jails are better than ours. They’re better than Ajegunle, Alimosho and Mushin Olosha, Aba, Onitsha, Asaba. You can go to school while in prison. And he may not serve life sentence. He may even, while in prison, be conducting his illicit business.

He and Invictus Okeke can team up as Nigerians and enjoy their incarceration. They won’t discriminate against themselves. They’re brothers in crime, joined together by internet stealing.

And when next you see a criminal or read about an arrest of one, and he’s not of your ethnic stock, don’t stereotype. There are criminals everywhere. And when they’re caught, they’re Nigerians and not Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba. And they shame you and me. Period.

A people are not bad; only individuals are.

So long, Nigerian internet fraudster.

Will others learn from this? I doubt it.

And the shaming goes on and on.

The True Heroes Of June 12th And More…

By: Chris O. MadukaTalking about June 12th without talking about Mazi Professor Humphrey Nwosu the National Electoral body chairman that designed, planned and executed what is now judged in retrospect as one of the most transparent and free elections ever conducted in the post Independent Nigeria under the OPTION A4 Open ballot system is like talking about American independent without talking about Thomas Jefferson or George Washington.
It is like talking about Apartheid struggle without Bishop Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela. It is like, let me shock so many of you, talking about the making of Abuja Capital territory without the mention of Mazi Dr. Felix Obinani the American based PhD city planning expert from Arondizuogu in the Present day Imo state flown back to Nigeria to design the Abuja city master plan. Don’t take my words for it , simply dig deeper.

Do they have a single street named after him? I doubt it. But we have the names of previous Nigeria coupists and embezzlers lined all over Abuja. Yet we wonder why things are the way they are. That’s what this Country has done.

Today you see those who sabotaged June 12th with those who dressed like market women to escape to the border taking exclusive credit for June 12th which was supposed to have been won by the late Chief MKO Abiola. Do anyone ever make mention of Chief Mazi Ralph K. Obioha from the same Arondizuogu in the Present day Imo state that was in the trenches with the late chief.

But, think about it; how did they know that late MKO Abiola won or was about to win before the Annulment came from the then military head of state Gen. Ibrahim Babangida. It was the competence, courage and professionalism of the Political science Professor Mazi Humphrey Nwosu that made June 12th possible.

Without Humprey Nwosu there will be no June 12th and there will be nothing to celebrate. After all there were other aborted attempts to conduct similar elections, because the people in charge weren’t as courageous as Mazi Humphrey Nwosu so they capitulated quickly and it ended there. But Prof. Nwosu Proceeded. Reminding all that he gave the world his words to conduct free and fair elections, and that they were here to observe that, therefore no going back.

Even at the face of intimidation and great risk to his life he proceeded with the elections and the release of the results until the military came harder on the on going process. Is it possible to omit someone who played this type of role pretending to forget as if you are suffering from selective amnesia when celebrating June 12th?
On such days as today Prof. Nwosu ought to have occupied a prominent seat and perhaps give the key note Address as only he could.

Don’t ask me why such a conspicuous and deliberate omission. I have my ideas.Truth be told, Without Prof.Humphrey Nwosu there won’t be anything to celebrate on this day. Just the same way there won’t be Abuja Master Plan without late Mazi Dr. Felix Obinani.

One thing that rings true among the two distinguished and accomplished men of honour who served this country eminently well is their ethnic nationality and their last names. They are Igbos. Less appreciated and rarely acknowledged for tremendous good. But often minor infractions are amplified and tagged on all to wear as a badge. But not the huge good deeds.

You can argue it all you want. But this country is reputable for people reaping where they did not sow. It is a land where mediocres are supplanted for brilliant minds by unrepentant revisionists. Little wonder so many have given up on trying. As late John Paul 2nd once said: when people are deprived of playing their rightful roles, they will resolve to attitude of passive indifference. That’s what many have done at the detriment of this beligeard nation.

Jume 12: The Tears Of M.K.O. Abiola, The Tears Of Ihedioha And The Pains Of Ndi-Imo

BY

CASMIR C NGUZORO

June 12th every year remains a memorable day to citizens of Nigeria more especially to those that participated in the auction A4 voting in Nigeria.

According to Wikipedia, the 1993 Nigerian presidential election was held on 12 June 1993 in the Nigerian Third Republic, the first since the 1983 military coup ended the country’s Second Republic. The elections were the outcome of a transitional process to civilian rule spearheaded by the military ruler, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB).

The unofficial result of the election – though not declared by the National Electoral Commission (NEC) – indicated a victory for Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who defeated Bashir Tofa of the National Republican Convention (NRC).

The winner of the election was thus never declared as the elections were annulled by IBB, citing electoral irregularities.
The annulment led to protests and political unrest, including the resignation of IBB and a weak interim civilian government, and culminated in the continuation of military rule in the country with Sani Abacha ascending to power as the military head of state via a bloodless coup later in the year.

When NEC began announcing the first batch of election results on 14th June. Abiola won 19 out of 30 states, and the Federal Capital Territory. He won all the states of the south-west; three of the seven states in the south-east; five of the nine northern states including Kano, Tofa’s state; and four out of the seven states in the central middle belt.

Of the 6.6 million votes that had been announced, Abiola had received 4.3 million and Tofa 2.3 million. If Abiola had been declared the winner, he would have been at that time the first southerner to be elected as president of Nigeria, breaking through ethno-religious divides having received support from all regions of the country.

On 23 June 1993, however, the Abuja High Court declared the election “null and void” allegedly because the NEC had ignored its first injunction not to conduct the polls. On the same day, the government made an announcement cancelling the elections and suspending the NEC.
According to many this June 12th election was the freest and fairest presidential election in the history of Nigeria, it united all Nigerians irrespective of your tribe and religion. People came out in mass and were very patient until they casted their votes.

This election defied all odds and geopolitical sentiments that had and still challenge Nigeria’s aspiration to take a deserved place in the comity of nations. A Muslim who picked another Muslim as his running mate, he, however, won the vote of the many Christians who defied religious slant of his ticket.
But just as they say, that good things and good people don’t last. Democracy was aborted while it was very close to its birth in Nigeria.

Then Down to January 14th 2020, Democracy was Strangling in Abuja ( The Capital city of Nigeria) and buried in Imo State.

Let’s recall that the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Imo state governorship election, Emeka Ihedioha, was declared winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to INEC Ihedioha polled 273,404 votes to defeat the Action Alliance candidate (AA), Uche Nwosu, who polled 190,360 votes, while Senator Hope Uzodimma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) came fouth, with 96,458 votes.
This declaration by INEC brought a lot of joy to Imo citizens, more especially to those that returned from their respective locations to vote for Hon Emeka Ihedioha. This celebration had nothing to do with party affiliation or zoning, the feeling was mutual.

2019 Election in Imo state was one of the best free and fair elections ever conducted in the history of Imo State after the one that ushered in Senator Rochas Okorocha in 2011.
This Same election defied all odds, zoning, religious denominations, and geopolitical sentiments. An Owerri Zone citizen contesting election against people of other political zones, yet he was wildly voted irrespective of zoning and party affiliation.

Is true that if we don’t vote, we are ignoring history and giving away the future. But believe me when I say that Majority of Imo Citizens have lost interest in politics, democracy, rule of law and more importantly in Voting.
Just like a popular philosopher said, Bad officials are elected by good citizens who do not vote.

Funny enough many citizens of Imo State believe that, Supreme Court in their unique powers announced a Governor for Imo State, from a vote gotten from people who did not vote.
The same Court that declared June 13 1993 election “null and void” causing pains and tears to Nigerians, came back in January 14 2020 and declared the winning of Hon Emeka “null and void”, thereby causing pains and tears to Ihedioha and Imolites.

Before our votes were precious. It was the most powerful non-violent tool we had in a democratic society.
DEMOCRAY HAVE GONE WRONG IN NIGERIA. When a confused government is elected in a democratic country, the best thing about this is that you learn the number of confused people in that country!
When the democrats choose not to be democratic, democracy fails to be democratic.
Indeed democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.

Following June 12th 1993 election, the judiciary that should be protecting democracy has always being a problem to democracy in Nigeria, just like a medical doctor that is meant to protect lives, engaging himself in the abortion of a baby.
The judiciary should understand that democracy is not just the right to vote; it is the right to live in dignity.
Irrespective of the pains of Imolites, I wish to encourage Imo State citizens not to give up in their fight against corruption and dream for a better Imo State. We have no other choice that to embrace what is before us. Let’s support this presence administration for as long as it can last.

Lets support it for the next 4years, and if we are not comfortable with their governance we have the rights to go back to the pools and vote them out, but if they win our hearts with good governance, then we have no choice than to support them for an additional 4years. Fighting the government will not add anything good to us, but supporting, advising and criticizing the government will go a long way to sharpen it in a positive way.

While the governor himself should understand that he has a lot of works to do, so as to win the hearts of Imo citizens. Just like a second wife who has to work very hard to win the hearts of his husband’s children.
Yes is painful when we vote and it looks like our votes are not being respected, but we shouldn’t stop voting because the right to vote is the basic right without which all others are meaningless. It gives people, people as individuals, and control over their own destinies.
Let us understand that all humans are equal, but not everyone has the mental capacity to decide what’s best for harmony and progress of a people.

Wait A Minute! A Note For Our Men And Even Women In The Diaspora

(You too Can Smile as Ugoebenaja and Ezeugo both two Distinguished and exemplary families in the Diaspora )👇🏾

WHAT IS IN THAT SMILE: YOU TOO CAN SMILE ..

Jisie nu’ike my people, Chief Betrand Udeagha “EzeUgo na Ideato and Attorney Okey Dike Ugoebenaja world wide.

Permit me to use your story as a reference point and the silver lining in what’s otherwise a misguided outlook and attitude of our people in the diaspora who should know better.

You guys have proven that East or West, home is the best. It is good to be in a place where everyone knows your name. A place where certain things you take for granted can change lives. Those that stay away for whatever ignorant pedestrian reasons often driven by what they read or see in the social media must realize that the space they left and they gap they’ve created are fast being taken over by some others.

Perhaps by the people they least expected. It is a reality.

The first wave of that vacuum was created after the genocidal civil war when some families were simply wiped out. The Migration West wards is the second wave albeit by choice. But this duo have proven the famous sound track ‘Hotel de California’ right that they can check out but will never ever leave the beloved land of their birth behind.

What your prolonged absence Means is that you that supposed to be a true son or daughter of the soil has rendered yourself irrelevant and a stranger in the land where you count most and must do whatever it takes to be counted has . So count yourself as one of those who lend hands in the killing of the Igboland from the villages you abandoned and some of your kindreds you turned your back on since you abandoned that hallowed grounds without looking back. You can make all manners of excuses why you are away. But they Igbos will say that blacksmith that knows not how to mold a gong should look for a clue at the tail of the Hawk. Just look at Ugoebenaja and Ezeugo and you begin to appreciate what it means to combine the East and the West.

But do realize that since you are Igbo you are like no other person on earth. You are connected to the soil or land of your birth. That’s why when one start experiencing certain calamities that cannot be scientifically explained those that understand the Igbo cosmology and primordial nature will advise you to visit home and simply step foot on the ground as you salute those who went before you. And surprisingly things will start shaping up again. We believe in the spirit of our ancestors. That’s why those Igbo slaves brought to America all committed suicide to return home in spirit than remain in servitude. This happened in 1803 in Georgia Sea Island.
See why I said you are not just an ordinary person🤷🏾‍♂ You are Igbo and you are connected to the land.

Don’t ask me, I do not have the details but it is a fact that it makes a difference to set your feet in the Igbo solid ground atleast once in a while.

Those of you who often visit like my good friends Chief Betrand Udeagha Ezeugo, Barrister Okey Dike Ugoebenaja and many others will attest to the fact that it is not everything that seem so bad that is bad and it is not everything that seem so good is that is so good afterall. There’s no utopia anywhere.

The social media is bridging the gap and bring the ills and dysfunctionalities of America to the world and the world they never knew to the very previously psychological detached Americans.

The murder of George Floyd has traumatized the world. Even places where human right violations are rife, no police officer in Nigeria will be allowed by the ordinary citizens and passers by to slowly murder another person while Nigerians watch. It cannever happen such police officer or officers may never live for the system to discharge them of all wrong doing as if the dead person did not die. He or she is having a short rest. The crowd must prevail on that fool that knelt on the life of George until he ran out of life. How cruel and monstro can those who claim land of the free and home of the brave be. I don’t see the freedom and there’s no bravity in what the world saw.

The only way any officer or whoever can get away with such murder is shooting and disappearing before the street justice catches up with him. Yes I know you’ll say law and order, and I say law and order my foot when it targets one group of people.

Am just simply saying , balance your outlook in life. Those men that their wives have succeeded or are attempting to reduce to a baby seater or nanny, (don’t get me wrong; in the setting you live, it is simply a duty for you to adjust and come down from some of our Male dominance and make things work).

Having said that the antidote against wilde and misguided wives is your escape route to Africa. Always leave a disguised open route like the smart bush rodent Ewi’ that always leave escape route so when the smart hunter tries to smoke it out, voom off it will go, Ndubuisi. Life first.

That’s the only way our women who have often imbibed the most dysfunctional aspect of American life by attempting to reduce the men to some thing less than Aka-Ikenga with the Abrahamic blessing that flows from the father to the family. They fail to relaize that destruction of the Black family started with the destruction of the men and reversal of the God assigned roles. Don’t fall for that.

Check out the two men I mentioned here. They seem to have gotten it right. Their wives with distibgusshed career I personally call: OSO’DIYA’EME!
Maybe some of you having crises ought to reach out to them and their wives to find out why they are winning at both fronts and keep smiling.

The Commissioner of Police Imo State Police Command CP Isaac Akinmoyode today paraded Suspects arrested for various crimes ranging from Child trafficking, kidnapping, Armed Robbery, murder etc.

Below is the full press briefing.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen of the press. Am so delighted to see you once again after my inaugural press briefing on the 20th of May, 2020, where I informed Imolites of our plans to rid Imo of crime and criminality. It could be recalled that during that briefing, I made it clear that we shall take the fight against violent crimes to the den of kidnappers and armed robbers. I also promised to make Imo too hot for criminals unless they leave Imo or change from their wicked ways. These promises we have kept and are still keeping.

In view of the above therefore, I want to share with you the tremendous breakthroughs of the Command in the last few days. Here are a total Of Eleven (11) suspects involved in crimes ranging from child stealing/trafficking to kidnapping, armed robbery etc. The details of the cases are: –
On 30th May, 2020, operatives of the Anti-Vice Unit of the Command while on stop and search duty, intercepted the above- named suspects with a boy of about two (2) years and on interrogation, they confessed that they stole the child at Kakuano LGA, Rivers State and brought him for sale. The boy has been safely kept in the motherless babies’ home while effort is being made to locate the parents while investigation is ongoing.
The Command therefore enjoin members of the public whose child was stolen or who knows anyone that has lost his child recently to contact Imo State Police control room on 08034773600 or the Police Public Relations Officer on 07034714499.

Sequel to the kidnap of one Ejemonu Emmanuel Izuchukwu, Emmanuel Egom and Chijioke Amadi, all of Imo State, operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit immediately swung into action. Upon painstaking and discreet investigation, they stormed the hideout of the hoodlums at Umuokpo, Emeabiam in Owerri West LGA. On sighting the operatives, the hoodlums engaged them in gun battle and after the gun duel, two of the suspects sustained fatal bullet wounds as a result of which they gave up the ghost. The third suspect was arrest alive and is cooperating with the operatives in their investigation.

On 29/05/2020 at approximately 0730hrs, at Umuapu in Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State, SARS operatives arrested one Kelechi Opara ‘m’ 37 years old, who hails from Omurelu in Ikwerre LGA of Rivers State. He was arrested for shooting at his neighbour over domestic issues. Upon arrival of SARS operatives, he was overpowered, arrested and a serviceable locally-made pistol with empty cartridge was recovered from him. The suspect will be charged upon completion of investigation.

On 05/06/2020, based on a distress call from the Police Control Room regarding the kidnapping of the above-mentioned persons at the early hours of the morning, operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) swung into action, stormed the Ikpaoha forest between Okigwe/Ideato LGAs and engaged the hoodlums in a gun duel. Consequently, the hoodlums fled with gunshot wounds and the victims were rescued unhurt. The victims have been reunited with their families while investigation is ongoing.

On5/6/2020 at about 0900hrs, SARS operatives upon a tip-off arrested, at Umuorii Owerri North LGA of Imo State, one Ezenwa Emmanuel ‘m’ 33 years old. A search of his person led to the recovery of a locally-made pistol. Suspect is making useful statement that will help operatives arrest other gang members. Investigation is in progress.

Nigeria Democracy At 21, Still A Mediocre Of Nascent, Southern Youth Leader CAN.

By: Barr. Oluchukwu Green Nnabugwu, KSC, JP, Chairman, CAN
Youth Wing , Southern Zone. (June 12, 2020)

Following the handing over of power from the military to civilians in May 29, 1999, ( which obviously was the most enduring democratic dispensation in Nigeria’s history), “Democracy” was considered as the most desirable form of
government and man’s best idea on earth.

It is within this same democratic dispensation that the federal
government under the presidential leadership of General
Olusegun Obasanjo, set out a day to be observed as a national
holiday in commemoration of the re – enthronement of
DEMOCRACY in Nigeria after long era of military dictatorial rule.

May 29 was originally the official democracy day in Nigeria, however, on June 6, 2018, the President Buhari-led Federal Government of Nigeria declared June 12 to be the new Democracy Day. And on the 12th of June 2019, the democracy

day was first marked in honour of
the memory of Moshood Abiola, who won the June 12, 1993 election that was annulled by the military regime of Ibrahim Babangida.

Thus, setting aback the fanfare that greeted Nigeria’s Independence in 1960 which demonstrated hope and aspirations on the prospect of self-
governance, never did citizen knew that after decades, the country would continue to loom in its fundamental challenges of leadership, national unity and economic development.

It is saddened that after successive governments, the issue of security still pose a major hindrance to the country as there
have been increase mortalities caused by insurgency, Banditry, Farmer- herders clashes and most recently, the inflow of Almajiris in the southern part of the country.

It is on record that there is wanton destruction of properties,
unabated and incessant killings of unarmed citizens(most of
whom are Christian faithfuls) and kidnapping cases of Christian leaders; with the latest kidnapping case of the CAN chairman of Nasarawa State, Bishop Joseph Masin, by gunmen.

In all of these, the federal government seems not be fourth
coming in battling these many sided security challenges that is increasingly threatening our tender democracy.

Similarly, citizens and opinion leaders within the southern
region of Nigeria have expressed serious concern over the mass
exportation of Almajiris allegedly from the Northern part through trucks (used to convey food items) to the Southern region. The manner at which these Almajiris are flooding into the southern states has raised a grave of suspicion that they might give birth to another surge of militancy.

Sadly, the federal
government on its part has made no sincere effort to address this issue of potential national security threat either by words or actions.

Since the creation of Nigeria, the crisis of ethnicity and
corruption has also been and remains a strong factor that has dwindled the country, as the effects of unemployment
cannot also be overemphasized as it has increased criminality, arm
robbery, kidnapping and all sorts of evil vices.

Therefore, as we mark the 2020 Democracy Day today, there is
every need for us as individual citizens of this great nation with growing democracy, to deeply reflect on the state of our
national security and give our voices in advocating for CHANGE
where necessary in our security system. While urging the
federal government to urgently attend to the call from most
Nigerians and many quarters of the Nigerian society for
restructuring of our national security architecture .

Also, it will be a timely step in the right direction for state governments to consider, embrace and enforce ‘community
policing’ as it will help create job for the teeming youths as well as ensure that the lives and properties of its citizens are
secured at grass root levels; where the response of Nigerian Police to distress call hardly gets prompt and adequate attention.

Finally, as the coordinating platform of Christian youths within Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Southern Zone, we will not relent in our roles in advocacy, sensitization and capacity building, while calling on the youth to engage in meaningful economic endeavours like agribusiness and farming especially
in this COVID 19 pandemic period, in order to ensure food security.

Long Live Nigeria

Buhari Appoints New President Of Appeal Sends Name To Senate For Confirmation.

Senate is set to screen Dongban Mensem as the new president of appeal, according to the nation newspaper Mr. Dongban is the acting President of the appeal court. Details below:

President Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded the name of the Acting President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, to the Senate for substantive confirmation. The decision of the President was contained in a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu.“President Muhammadu Buhari, in-line with his constitutional responsibility has sent the nomination of Her Lordship, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, Acting President, Court of Appeal to the Senate for confirmation as President, Court of Appeal.“Justice Dongban-Mensem is a serving Justice of the Court of Appeal and was recommended, as is the practice, by the National Judicial Council for the nomination by the President,” the statement said.It would be recalled, however, that the appointment and the question of confirmation of Justice Dongban-Mensem had recently stirred public interest, with many insinuating that the President was foot-dragging on her effective confirmation for ethnic or religious reasons. One of those who took the President on over the development was former military administration of Kaduna State, Col. Abubakar Dangiwa Umar, who also accused him of giving lopsided appointments. The Presidency had reacted to insinuations negatively depicting the President’s intensions with regards to appointments, claiming that President Buhari’s appointments had followed the dictates of the Constitution.

Justice Will Not Have Served Until Those Who Are Not Affected Are As Outraged As Those Who Were

By: Chris O. Maduka

One of my most famous quotes dealing with justice is that: “There’s no greater injustice than to judge unequal causes equally”.

This is the sum total of the whole matter, and we’ve engaged in plenty of it in this country. The case of Biafra genocide stands on its own, and it is like no other level of man inhumanity to man, and Black on Black crime.

For those who wish to be in denial and on the defensive, those who continue to follow Winston Churchill’s assertions when he said: “HISTORY WILL BE KIND TO US BECAUSE WE SHALL WRITE IT”.
Let them continue as the nation in denial is slouching towards abyss and collapsing at the weight of her own misadventures.

There’s no doubt that those who participated in the Genocidal war, have been attempting to make history appear kind to them or to judge them kindly. They’ve tried, albeit with little success to romanticize history and distort the facts to make HISTORY KIND TO THEM.

No wonder Jerome Okolo puts this way and I quote;

“IT IS NOT THE DUTY OF THOSE WHO WERE NOT THERE TO URGE THOSE WHO WERE TO FORGET AND MOVE ON”

But the truth is like energy, it can neither be created nor destroyed.

Decades later, the Manifest existential threats faced by all and sundry especially those who actually fought and massacred innocent women and children to save an entity doomed to fail from it’s very structural beginning are today realizing that it has been all a misadventure.

The war Mantra: “TO KEEP NIGERIA ONE IS A TASK THAT MUST BE DONE”, that propelled them has been rendered useless and makes no sense any more to them. Today to keep a nation that have lost her soul and essence one sounds very hollow and senseless.

Looking back in retrospect and with sober reality of the moment, the remnants of the diminishing war Veterans like Gen Gowon, Obasanjo, Danjuma, Jeremiah Useni, just to mention but a few, have lived long enough to see the foolishness of their exploits, but most importantly, they have lived to see that BIAFRA did not die instead Nigeria self destruct herself.

For their eyes have seen just like late Dreamer and freedom fighter Dr. Martin Luther King Jr saw, they have seen the beginning of the end of Nigeria they fought and killed to preserve and the threshold of the land of the RISING SUN.

It is a matter of time , as the Nigerian state has proven unsustainable.

MAY ALL THOSE WHO WERE PHYSICALLY WOUNDED AND EMOTIONALLY TRAUMATIZED HEAL AND FIND PEACE, AND MAY ALL THOSE 3.5 MILLION SOULS MASSACRED CONTINUE TO REST IN PEACE.
AS WE STAND TO SAY: NEVER AGAIN! AND WE SHALL NOT FORGET!

While Shed Tears for George Floyd, Perhaps They Too Might Have Tears To Shed For You:

Let me just say that I’ll share this as widely as I possibly can. But before I do that, let me quickly touch upon this if only tangentially as it is easy to lose the thought flow that this write up has generated in my minds eye.

Basically I must say that I am sick and tired of being sick of our people, especially the people of Southern Nigeria saved by the BELL with the emergence of Trump as the winner in the last US election over Hillary Clinton and by extension our Cousin without value, that infact approved the regime change that derailed this nation that is on the right path from all reports and indices, am tired of these people just sounding misguided and annoying over the sad development in the far away United states.

These people are indifferent about the role their heroes President Obama and Hilary Clinton played when they in exchange for the Jonathan administration aided and abated the APC and PMB into power in 2015. Well the verdict is now out. Are you better today than you were five years ago?

Where do we even start ?

Do we count the deaths ? Or the existential threats we face today? All thanks to the master stroke by the Obama and the Democrats. We are only half way to the mayhem planned by these people foisted upon us. The python dance we saw was merely the shoulders of the storm not the eye.

Because President Trump was sitting in the White house, even while there’s really no clear indication of what he may have done to slow the fast moving train. But he simply gave an indication that he will not honour the black cheque issued by President Obama and Hilary Clinton.

I said this to say that we are all deeply pained and outraged by the way and manner George Floyd was murdered. The systematic racism that yielded what we saw with Goerge Floyd has been so entrenched and long been coming as the politicians through the decades continue to try to outdo each other Democrats and Republicans on who will be tougher on crimes. These toughness sadly is at the very back of Blacks and other Minorities.

Perhaps some of us need to step back and read the 1996 crime bill pushed and signed by President Clinton to understand how we got to where we are today. That bill was titled; Anti immigration and effective death penalty bill. Google it and read it before pointing fingers at the current president Donald Trump.

The people of the world are watching to see if America will once again rise up and live true to their claim of being the so called land of the free and home of the brave. Such claims now hangs in balance with the murder of One man George Floyd.

America will do herself alot of good by distancing themselves and disowning those cruel and barbaric bigots or risk being disowned by the world. They have enough people of moral conscience to achieve that. They’ve done it before and we expect them to do it again and emerge stronger.

Having said that, it is also very sad and disingenuous to watch or listen to some of our people fall into the predictable profile of joining the bandwagon mentality by subscribing to the opinion and the drowning noise of those who wish to score some kind of political points with this tragedy.

They want to blame President Trump and talk so passionately about injustice in America where injustice is of course a reality but when fully manifested is treated as an aberration. Compare that to these people who are ironically from, or live places where these wickedness are rife and are even often celebrated depending on who’s at the receiving end.

Even those that recently escaped from where this injustice has become an acceptable new normal have the nerve to criticize them with their unreasonable expectations.

These are people from places where people have lived with injustice and cruelty for so long that they’ve grown so apathetic and are now experiencing some kind of death of outrage. Noting here shocks our conscience anymore. It is black on black crime that often go unnoticed.

Often, Once the news breaks about mass killings hundreds atimes with graphic images streamed to out devices we first check the ethnic groups, if they are Igbos those who have lived their life in hate and tribal bigotry might share a bottle of star over such wickedness and tragedy because it happened to people they love to hate.

These are the hypocrites whining over the sad murder of One American of course unjustly. But tell them about the 3 million that was murdered senselessly in the genocidal civil war and pogrom and they will show no emotion. At the worst they will blame you and give you the indication that given the right moment he or she will repeat same.

They will give you one thousand excuses why it is ok for the trained military and security forces to veer into the civilian space and maul down innocent women and children. They will hide behind party lines and tell you someone carrying AK47 with proof of murder should walk free and the one waving flag should be thrown in jail or even gunned down.

They will blame Trump and praise Obama who made this day possible and you ask yourself; what are these people thinking?
Infact inferiority complex comes in many shapes and forms. Those who are foaming from both sides of their mouths in condemnation of America and President Trump while over looking this cesspool of evil and rationalizing what’s happening here for whatever reasons they may have are inwardly suffering from inferiority complex.

This is exhibited in their actions and preoccupations with what’s happening in the distant places like America and Europe. This simply suggests or imply that those lives are worth more than their own and that of their people here in Nigeria.

I’ve even seen some people cry more than the bereaved when people suffer disaster in some of these places. Like what happened in France few years back and many people here changed their social media icons to French flag in solidarity with France.

Nothing wrong with that. But How many of these people have shown solidarity with the Igbos in all the their suffering and pains? How many have talked about the huge numbers massacred across Middlebelt and parts of Enugu and Ebonyi states?

Black life in Africa really don’t matter. We are here engaging in moral relativism while ignoring our embarrassing inadequacies, growing injustice and perennial problems.
That’s part of the reasons why we are disrespected around the world. We are full of contradictions and confusions.

Until we start putting equal premium in our lives. Until we start speaking and addressing the huge evil in our midst, the killings, the tribal discrimination which as it stands today with an Igbo person is even worst than racial discrimination in its meaniest form. Until we focus on these things, even while we stand in solidarity with other people across the world facing similar injustice then we are nothing short of of clueless and irresponsible bunch.

So while shed tears for the George Floyds of this world and criticize America, let’s save some of that breath for the many unknown faces buried in mass graves, so many summarily executed by the trigger happy cops down here. Let’s also direct our outrage or increase it in what’s happening in our neck of the wood in Nigeria.

Perhaps as you listen to an American tell you his or her story, empathize with them and stand in solidarity for what’s just and fair. But then also find it duty bound to tell them your story too. Because you too do have a very sad story to tell. Perhaps they too might shed tears for you.

GOD BLESS ALL.

Sexual molestation: I stand with my husband – Lancelot Imasuen’s wife.

Is it good for one to keep silent over an issue such as rape for over 13years only to wake up one morning to make an allegation against the suspect.

Is it normal and advisable? In this episode a Nollywood actress has accused a producer of molesting her by squeezing her breast and pin her down in her hotel room 13years ago, however she denied been rape by the accused.

Below is full details as compiled by the Nation Newspaper.

Wife of top filmmaker, Amiua Imasuen, has defended her husband, Lancelot, accused of sexual molestation by actress, Sylvia Oluchi.

In a statement, Amiua dismissed the allegation, saying she was on set of the movie where Oluchi claimed to have been molested.

She warned Oluchi and her ‘gang’ to steer clear of her husband who has built his brand through sweat and blood for the past 25 years.

Her statement reads: “I stand against rape, violence or any form of molestation be it male or female.

“Bent Arrows’ was my husband’s first film after we got married 13 years ago and I was with him during the audition and filming.

“Sylvia Oluchy I neither exalt nor bring low your allegations against my husband with this letter but be rest assured that your desperate attempt to solicit other females to also allege same thing against my husband I have them. When the chips are down you will understand in full what I mean.

“Sylvia stop losing sleep whether I was on that set or not. Remember the scene shot at Mrs. Isang’s house? We had a little prayer meeting and I specifically made a prayer request with one of the major cast in attendance and to the glory of God it has long been answered.

“If your issue is with how long I was there, were you filming in my husband’s hotel room or were you on set to monitor a newly wedded woman’s movement?

“In all this, you and your cohorts can be rest assured that I stand firmly with my Husband.

“I am a mother of four girls; a practising Accountant. If any of my bosses ever molested me, I would never go back to them to ask for favours talkless of being cordial with them over a period of 13 years…Dear Sylvia please be guided.

“To everyone standing and running with Sylvia well-done you are all entitled to your opinions but remember just as much as a girl child needs a lot of protection so does the boy child.

“When all the concentration is on the girl child is there a third gender for the girl to associate with? No wonder there are so many broken homes, no wonder so many damaged men are roaming the world.”
“My husband has built a brand for the past 25 Years through sweat and blood. If you and your gang think you will cast aspersions on him you sure picked a wrong person.”

The Nation reports actress Sylvia Oluchi recently accused Lancelot of sexually harassing her while they were shooting the film “Bent arrow” about 13 years ago in Abuja.
The actress made the allegation via the film makers WhatsApp group, Filmic, where she called out the celebrated film director after the latter soft-pedaled on the issue of sexual assault in the movie industry.

According to her, the reverred film director squeezed her boobs and physically pinned her to the bed when he visited her in his hotel room.

Though the actress confirmed that Lancelot did not rape her, the allegation has since gone viral on social media.

The Ancient Kingdom Of Arondizuogu And Her People Are Not Defined By Odumeje Nor Strictly By The Late Legend Pericoma.

(It is time to move on)

Chris O. Maduka is a seasoned Public Affairs Analyst of International repute who has lend his voice in so many issues both local and abroad especially in the Nigeria political arena and ill treatment of parts of this country.

He has been a guest to channels television on many occasions and guest writer to New Media Galaxy Online News Blog and other media houses and publishers.

This time he has lend his voice on the trending news about Odumeje and insult on the people of Arondizuogu in an Interview with gisthub24.com an Owerri based news Blog, this is indeed a Master piece to all that have been said before.

Read his response below!!!👇🏻👇🏻

I’ve reserved my comments about the issue of the condescending remarks of Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje. I’ve made some side commentary joining others in condemnation of such gaffe and ignorant expression.

Infact what he said spoke more about his ignorance and shallow knowledge of his genesis than anything else. Coming from Orlu zone in Imo state he should’ve realized that talking down on Arondizuogu will not make him to rise nor make Orlu what it is not. Because a son cannot have a son before his father. It is not possible.

At the height of this controversy when the cacophony of the noise generated by this reached its highest crescendo, I saw an opportunity this development generated to educate those who have this parochial narrow and ignorant view of this ancient kingdom, the citadel of education and the last bastion of hope in the preservation of Igbo and African culture propagated decades ago by their own beloved Son late Mazi Mbonu Ojike the very erudite and bold boycott king. How many Igbos know or realized that the late Mbonu Ojike was from Arondizuogu. How many of them realized the role he played in the mere 42 years he lived before he died on 1956.

How many people are aware that literally speaking that without Arondizuogu that the Nigeria freedom and independence from the British imperialists wouldn’t have been possible. That’s a story for another day. But the few key players that fought along Zik and even financed some of his exploits were from the great Ancient city of Arondizuogu.

Specifically, it was Dr. K.O. Mbadiwe’s brother Mazi J. GREEN MBADIWE who was a multimillionaire business mogul in the mining industry who not only encouraged and funded the sojourn of eight young Nigerians of Igbo ethnicity to the New World, the United states of America for the pursuit of the higher education the famous Golden fleece.

They are late Mazi Mbonu Ojike, Dr. K.O. Mbadiwe. Mazi George Mbadiwe ( All three from Arondizuogu in the Old Orlu Province or division). Then you have the others like Ikejiani, Okongwu and others. Dr. Nwafor Orizu who didn’t make the trip with them in 1938 joined them in 1939 thanks to the benevolence and vision of Chief J. Green Mbadiwe who funded his education.

Still in doubt?

It was the same J. Green Mbadiwe who supported and helped to finance the Zika’s West African pilot News paper that fought the colonialists to a halt with the weekly column by the Late Mbonu he entitled the weekly Catechism.

Does Odumeje realized that the Christian faith he’s standing on to do his abracadabra has it roots in the same Arondizuogu. Does he realize that this ancient kingdom boasts of more professors and clergies of the highest ranking of Bishops and more. Does he realized that Bishop Mark Unegbu of old greater Owerri Catholic Diocese was from Arondizuogu?

Does he realized the Anglican Bishop Emeritus Nwizuzu in from Arondizuogu? Does he know that in their entire old division that Christianity first touched down in Arondizuogu at the St Peter’s Anglican church that is today the residence of the Archdiocese of Ideato by merit of being the very first and above others in Anglican Christendom.

I wonder if those with Odumeje mindset that defines Arondizuogu strictly by the great legend Pericoma and the Ikeji of course the greatest and arguably the biggest cultural carnival in the entire continent of Africa which has been sponsored by major corporate bodies like the MTN network, Promasidor among others, do they realize that Pericoma Nwankwo Okoye Emezuo’s elder brother in the extended family is Professsor Green Nwankwo. He is a retired professor of Economics from University of Lagos.

He served as Executive director Monetary and Banking policy for the Central bank of Nigeria CBN where he helped so many qualified Igbos to gain employment. He was also the former Chairman of the Union bank Plc. And now the traditional ruler of AroAmuro.

Am not going to bore anyone reading this by telling them that Arondizuogu established two Secondary Schools not by the British or by the Church but by the community. Both National High school and Iheme memorial Grammar school were established by the people Odumeje is busy castigating forgetting that who is who among the people in the old Orlu division and across Igboland benefited from this visionary investment in the human capacity building.

Do I remind the Odumeje fans that it was in Arondizuogu that Ojukwu family took refuge during the civil war. Do I remind them that it was Mazi T.C Modu from Arondizuogu that championed the Biafran cause all over the world.

Do we talk about the fact that soon after the war that Late Chief L.N. Obioha has already established an alternative kind of oil for Export ( the palm kernel oil) extracting industry NIPROC in Arondizuogu with thriving middle class employees including expatriates resident in the Arondizuogu GRA around Ndiejezie Arondizuogu.

You talk about Pericoma, but you completely missed the Amazon Adamazi Onyeka Onwenu who’s father was a member of parliament late D.K. Onwenu.

You cannot possibly pass through school in the Eastern Nigeria without reading the Novel by Mazi Peter Nwanna. The great OMENUKO book that made its debut before things fall apart.

I could go on for ever talking about the Arondizuogu people. but let me stop and digress on the lesson we can all learn and grow from this.

In my view, it is an unprecedented opportunity to let the world back into the Arondizuogu world they’ve misunderstood due to ignorance of history and misinterpretation of what the Great Philosopher and poet late Pericoma represented. It is opportunity to let the world know that Arondizuogu people are the most hospitable people in the entire Nigeria if not Africa. Perhaps a trial will convince you.

Contrary to the misguided belief that Arondizuogu people are neck deep into fetish stuff and voodoo, the truth and reality is that there no serious outstanding high ranking voodoo priest or native Doctor from Arondizuogu. You can confirm independently. Sorry to disappoint so many of you by also telling you here on authority that the Late legend Pericoma was neither a voodoo priest nor a native Doctor.

He was a proud son of Igboland who jealously guarded and revived some of our very unique primordial Igbo culture and philosophy such as : Live and let live. He preached just like any other preacher. He evangelized with what God gave him and he had the confidence to believe that the Igbo ways and by extension Africa ways are equally valid and legitimate without apologies.

He once made a song in which he mentioned who’s who among high ranking voodoo priests, not in condescending manner but in recognition of their chosen path as long as they put the Good God Almighty first. That’s the guiding principle and belief of the late legend. But even at that, not even one of those in what seems like a hall of fame is from Arondizuogu that I know. So where does all these perception about Arondizuogu and voodoo coming from?

LET ME NOW DIGRESS;👇🏾
Having tried to set the records straight, with the attempt to correct some impressions that came to full circle of critical mass with the Odumeje issue,
I think is time for our people to move on. I think we are expending too much energy on this matter Enough already.

Let the whole matter fizzle and die down as everything else in life. Incontrovertible points have been made and unambiguous message sent to other flippant mouth ignorant others who think they can only rise by denigrating others.

If we continue to push further, we may suffer a backlash. People must remember that some of these things have collective guilt and cultural implications.

Some communities are still wondering why suitors hardly come for their daughters. Or why their sons a times have a little bit challenges finding wives, Or why people approach them with extreme trepidations.

Our people still have tremendous goodwill, and must work hard to preserve and enhance it. This type of Odumeje issue while outrightly condemnable, and we reserve the right to be outraged and follow through with some kind of actions as we have, it is time to slow our roll and embrace peace with all men.

It is time we use this opportunity to let the world know once again who we are and the contributions we’ve made towards the growth of not just Nigeria, but the entire human race. That’s what I’ve tried to do in the first half of this long write up. You too can lend your voice and tell the world the great things about these people that they don’t know.

Let’s get off this pedestrian bandwagon retaliatory threats and posturing and take the high road of dignity and honour while we have the window of opportunity to do so. The guy has apologized. Let’s embrace him and realize that the young man has his own nuisance value. He’s also a champion in the religious politics that our neighbors in the West have eaten our lunch.

I want to see some of the Funds we’ve poured in the Ogun state based Churches come to Onitsha. Of comes through Odumeje so bait. Let him build schools, and estates in Onitsha or even Arondizuogu who knows 🤷🏾‍♂ afterall where’s the Winners chapel and Shiloh, wheres the Synagogues where’s the Redeem camp? Is this not another form of Akurueuno that Odumeje represents ? Forget about all the moral relativismod some claiming to know God more than others. Look at the economic and financial added value and you will understand why we shouldn’t destroy Odumeje.

Let’s not forget that the youngman is from Orlu just next door to Arondizuogu. We all used to be under one local political zone and local government administration called ORLU DIVISION, with our own Late Dr. K.O. Mbadiwe the man of timber and caliber. We were so United under one umbrella that his home in Queens drive Ikoyi was named ORLU MANSION. Yes indeed.

Let’s reflect deeper and embrace our arrant son and brother once again. It is the right thing to do now and we must do so now.

For it is only a fool that errs and can’t cash in on the experience. We’ve made our points. The world have heard us, Others have learnt their lesson. If it is a battle we have won.

So Let’s leave the matter while we have the moral latitude. Let’s leave while the ovation is the loudest.

Let’s cash on the opportunity this moment presented to strengthen our
ties with our neighbours. Let’s be the leaders we’ve always been by default of the divine providence.
Let’s end this Odumeje issue on a high Note.”

May God bless the great people of Arondizuogu.
Long live the Old Orlu division!
Long live the great Igboland! and May
Peace return to this troubled world alas …Amen …iseee!

Impending Danger Looms In Agbala, Aba Road, Imo State.

Residents of Agbala community in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State narrowly escaped a fatal accident that would have claimed lives of Imolites and Nigerians on the ever busy Owerri-Aba road highways.

Reports reaching New Media Galaxy newsdesk has it that a full loaded truck had a brake failure on Wednesday 3rd June,2020 at Wire crossing Agbala along Aba Road, in the State.

It is gathered that the brake failure caused the truck to crash at the road darmacation and blocked part of the U-Turn.

The truck as reported by our correspondent on visit to the area is yet to be towed or moved from the scene amidst blocking the road and causing users difficulties to ply the high way.

New Media Galaxy Management calls on Imo Government and relevant authorities in the state to come to the rescue of the people.

It is very dangerous to have allowed this truck since three days now and continuing as there seems no plan to remove it any soon.

A Great Lesson On Forgiveness For All As Shown By Nelson Mandela

By: Chikie Nneji and Chris O. Maduka

NELSON MANDELA, former SOUTH AFRICAN PRESIDENT, wrote a personal awesome story.

After I became PRESIDENT, I asked one day some members of my close protection to stroll with me in the city, have lunch at one of its restaurants. We sat in one of the downtown restaurants and all of us asked for some sort of food.

“After a while, the waiter brought us our requests, I noticed that there is someone sitting in front of my table waiting for food”

I told then one of the soldiers: Go and ask that person to join us with his food and eat with us. The soldier went and asked the man so. The man brought up his food and sat by my side as I asked and began to eat. His hands were trembling constantly until everyone had finished their food and the man went. The soldier said to me: the man was apparently quite sick. His hands trembled as he ate!”

“No, not at all,” said MANDELA.

“This man was the GUARD of the PRISON where I was JAILED.

“Often, after the torture I was subjected to, I USED TO SCREAM and ASK for A LITTLE WATER.

“The very same man used to come every time and URINATE ON MY HEAD INSTEAD”.

“So I found him scared, trembling, expecting me to reciprocate now, at least in the same way, either by torturing him or imprisoning him as I AM NOW THE PRESIDENT of the STATE OF SOUTH AFRICA.”

“BUT THIS IS NOT MY CHARACTER NOR PART OF MY ETHICS”

“The MENTALITY of RETALIATION DESTROYS STATES, while the MENTALITY of TOLERANCE BUILDS NATIONS.

“The WEAK can NEVER FORGIVE … FORGIVENESS is the attribute of the STRONG”.

MY RESPSONSE 👇🏾 by Chris O. Maduka

I agree to some extent. Forgiveness is very profound. It releases both people ( the offender and the offended) from eternal bondage.

But the likes of Nelson Mandela , Ghandi, Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King Jr, among few other TRANSCENDE NTALIST are very rare.

In the anatomy of human conscious calculated from 20 being the lowest to 700 being the highest and only attained perhaps by Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, these other great transcendentalist rates at the level of 300 and above. Some of the most extraordinary people we know are rated around 200 or even lower.

So the problem I have with this is that forgiveness must come with a repentant heart. It must come when the person doing wrong realizes that they’ve done wrong. Those at that very lowest rating which are driven by fear, empty pride that cannot be sustained, and more are those that abuse the notion of forgiveness.
They lack the capacity to understand the deeper consequences of their actions as they often gloat in it.

That’s where those who murdered George Floyed belong. That’s where those who murdered women and children in Nigeria decades ago and even as we speak belong.

The common thread in all these is that either through the court system or broken dysfunctional arrangement as we have here in Nigeria some people have been forgiven and even rewarded and promoted hence decades after decades same heinous crimes against humanity are repeated.

Fast forward to the Jews and the Holocaust in Nazi Germany. Till this day, anything remotely relating to the Nazi atrocities is followed through and punished more than 70yrs after that wicked act. Has there been a repeat of such in Germany? That’s what makes forgiveness complete. Forgive but move to protect others going forward.

So I can understand this Mandela’s very rare action as an isolated incident coming from a transcendentalist. It is exception to the rule and not the rule. Because all these can only be possible when the evil and wicked lot turn from their wicked ways and turn towards God which they lack the capacity to do. So what do you do?

What I see with some people in some places is that they have underdeveloped conscience, and in their hearts there’s really nothing to be reached. So what do you do with these kinds of people? Continue to forgive everytime or do you forgive in your heart and spirit but physically make moves that will make it impossible for them not to repeat such cruelty and wrong doing to anyone else. Simply saying Never Again! And meaning that. Most progressive people and society that have advanced forward are guided by this pragmatism, but others especially people of Colour, Africans are thought to give empty forgivess even when that might put their future in a great mortal danger. That’s not forgiveness. That’s foolishness and irresponsibility.

We are duty bound to use our experience not to retaliate but to foreclose any possibility of such being the experience of others. Simply meaning to use our bitter experience to initiate actions that will make it impossible for that same thing to happen to anyone else on this planet earth.

As there are Angels among us so there are devil incarnates. It is not everyone that walks on their two legs that are human that deserves forgiveness. After all wasn’t satan cursed by God? Because God realized that there’s no need casting precious Pearls to the swine. They will trample it under their feet. So it is with forgiveness and those that do not deserve it.

Some are inherently evil just like snakes are evil by nature. There’s really no good side to a dangerous poisonous snake. It is just a matter of time before its snake evil instinct will kick in and you are in mortal danger.

The police officers that snuffed the life out of brother George Floyd, (May his soul while Rest in peace but never stay quiet) may it haunt his killers as he is joined by the warring Arch Angels to get rid of all the devils in human form among us because they deserve not to exist among normal people…Amen!

Same offor na Ogu I pronounce for the people that move into villages in Nigeria and cut down innocent people trying to eche out a living from the scorching earth, because they do not belong in the society of sane people. They deserve to be forgiven, but not in a away that will put anyone else at risk by giving blanket forgiveness to the most undeserving. Those who do not want to abide by the Igbo primordial and basic life Principle of : LIVE AND LET LIVE, must face the wrath of the God Almighty…Iseee!

Doing any less or simply giving a blanket forgiveness may cause God not forgiving those who had the chance to stop evil on its tracks but read the meaning of forgiveness upside down and by so doing took unforgivable actions or inactions as the case maybe.
May God help us.

Policemen In Rivers Decry Move To Demolish Homes In Stations.

Culled from the Nation Newspaper.

“Hundreds of policemen in Rivers State have sent a Save our Soul (SoS) messages to the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) following plans to demolish their homes in some stations located in the state.

It was gathered that the police authority in the state concluded plans to begin removal of what it referred to as illegal structures from police land across the state.

But hundreds of policemen occupying such structures with their family members said destroying the houses would render their wives and children homeless and beg the inspector-general of police to have a rethink.

It was gathered that demolition notices were already pasted on such structures at Mini Okoro police stations in Port Harcourt.

The notice dated June 3 was addressed to all occupants of houses at Nimi Okoro police station and signed by the police provost Marshall for the state Commissioner of Police.

The document tagged, Notice of Removal of Illegal Structures on the Nigeria Police Land, Rivers State Command, relied on a signal issued in 2004 by the then inspector-general of police.

The document stipulated that the destruction of the structures would begin on June 5 giving the occupants and their families only two days to move their belongings out of their houses.

It was gathered that the houses, which were about to be uprooted, were erected by the affected policemen following lack of accommodation for them and their families.

The policemen of various ranks especially junior officers and rank and file were said to have saved money to build small structures for their families since the government could not provide accommodation for them.

The demotion notice said: “Your attention is hereby drawn to IGP’s 2004 circular in respect of the illegal structure you built on government land without approval.

“However, the Commissioner Police in his final magnanimity has given you till 5th June 2020 to voluntarily remove the illegal structures.

“Take note that the building will be forcefully demolished after this ultimatum whether you are present or not. You are advised in your own interest to remove it to avoid embarrassment”.

Though the police were yet to send bulldozers to the area, it was gathered that the notice created panic among the affected policemen forcing some of them to relocate their properties and families to uncompleted buildings.

But the affected policemen said they had no other place to go and begged the police authority to either reconsider the demolition plan or provide accommodation for them.

A policeman, who spoke in confidence, said demolishing the buildings at this time would cause them extreme hardship and affect their productivity.

He said: “We built these structures on our own because there is no accommodation for policemen and their families in the state. We saved money out of our small salaries to give ourselves shelter. We thought of renting accommodation outside but shelved the idea because of security reasons.

“We have stayed here for many years and because our families have shelter, we can concentrate on our jobs. Over these years we have lived here, there has not been any effort by the government to build low cost housing for policemen.

“We suffered to do it ourselves and they are threatening to pull the houses down. Where do they want to us to go? What will happen to our families and children? We are begging the government and the IGP to come to our rescue. We are asking the IGP to help us because we know he doesn’t want to see his men homeless”.

Another policeman, who spoke in confidence, said the notice of demolition has unsettled them since it was issued and pasted on their houses.

“We built these houses inside Nimi Okoro Police Station ourselves with our own hard-earned money. This demolition notice has unsettled us. We have been managing these structures for many years.

“Giving us this short notice to remove these structures without providing alternatives is giving us stress and headaches. Where do we move to? Some of us have started moving their things to uncompleted buildings. We are begging the police authority and the IGP to consider our plight”, he said.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Nnamdi Omoni, could not be reached but a senior police officer, who confirmed the development in confidence, said it was a police internal affair and should not be subjected to public scrutiny.

He said it was improper to build illegal structures in police stations adding that the police would always allocate available accommodation to their homeless personnel.

“Even when accommodation is not available, it should not give any policeman the liberty to begin erecting illegal structure on police land”, he said.”

Those Who Wish All To Hate President Trump Should Tell Us Why They Love Former Presidents Clinton & Obama

By: Chris O. Maduka

Let me make it clear that spontaneous right action informs one to do the right thing, at the right time for the right reasons.
Question is : Why should the Igbos and people of Southern Nigeria, mostly Christians give their unconditional support to the Democrats, or why should they reward them for what they did here in 2015 under President Obama?

I want to also alert those who think that those supporting President Trump are misguided, that they are actually the misguided people because they are driven by bandwagon mentality and not deep and introspective thinking.

It is on record that in recent times every time they have the liberal Democrats in the White House African blood just flow freely. In 1967 it was President Lyndon Johnson a democrat who took over after J.F. Kennedy assassination in Dallas Texas. All that killings of civilian women and children and genocidal civil war happened while he did nothing.

It took the election of President Nixon in 1968 for top ranking US official Henry Kissinger to look into the issue of Biafra. Then it was Jimmy Carter, he tried , but the worst case of apartheid brutality happened around his regime. We have President Clinton and the Rwandan genocide. Then President Obama.

Nigeria nearly imploded because of his direct meddling here that emboldened the Northern Oligarchs to act with brazen impunity – but President Jonathan sacrificed everything to avert that.

Then President Trump in what is clearly an answered prayer won the election and essentially canceled what simply amounted to a blanc cheque issued by the Obama/Hilary Clinton leadership.
If it were to be Hilary that won that election, it is better imagined what the Python dance and the crocodile smile would’ve been like. What we saw wa as a childs play compared to what was actually planned.

But these things does not matter to those hating Trump including those actually save by the bell. They are busy doing academic exercise and following CNN onesided news.

They never wondered why the disappeared from the North East and abandoned the Chibok girls brouhaha. It was Obama that approved the regime change that brought in this administration that have seen more brutality and killing in peace time than most wars.

Then look at Lybia and other places in Africa. Such is what we must reward? Or hate Trump for diminishing the ISIS that was slashing threats everyday and other copy cats were following in their footsteps and doing same here across some parts of this country. Where are they today? Still pockets of isolated cases , but greatly degraded under Trump.

I heard some people here repeating the same political correctness that has caused people that are otherwise brilliant to become straight up unreasonable as they strive to tow popular opinions. They choose to dwell in fools paradise chosing to ignore the rreality of who they are and how some of these things affect them and their people adversely. No they don’t care! They are dwelling in fools paradise and the liberal utopia that doesn’t exist.

I am not surprised at all that these people are rising up in ferocious disbelief that President Trump far from being perfect maybe have actually participated in the protest to save the people of Biafra from genocide many years ago while the world lobbied by the Great Britian looked the other way.

Some of these guys antecedents and position on the dysfunctional Nigeria situation in which the people of former Esatern Nigeria has been marked for destruction if not for the fact that there’s a New Sheriff in town which is President Trump simply gives the indication of their myopia and disconnect to the reality.

The former President Obama and Hilary Clinton have literally given a blank cheque to the administration they helped to midwive and deliver in 2015. Now you ask yourself, what impact did President Obama and the rest of the democratic party make or what role did they play to move Africa forward in 8yrs of his uneventful leadership? Other than to propagate the dysfunctional social norm of gay marriage and other weird stuff.

Perhaps those sweating on their palms telling us how we might suffer a backlash for openly supporting President Trump or for simply refusing to be liberal goats without brains ( remarks I find most disconcerting ), these guys should point to one thing those guys did to deserve our unconventional loyalty and support.

How about Hillary Clinton? What was her role in the containment of the violent Boko Haram before it gained foothold in the North East? She refused to designate them as terrorist organization. They even frustrated the former President’s effort to procure the right kind of weapons to route out Boko Haram.
Why? I have no idea.

It was during President Clinton that the Rwanda genocide unfolded under his watchful eyes. He simply ordered the evacuation of the Western citizens and about 800,000 people perished. As if that is not enough, similar thing started brewing in Eastern Congo, until the Canadians intervened.

He did nothing about the civil war in Angola instead he secretly approved of direct flight from Houston the oil capital of the US to Luanda the capital reaping oil benefits while Africans were dying.

Hilary Clinton was one of those who came down hard on late President Mugabe when the British government reneged on the agreement reached over the land dispute. If not for the solidarity of other African leaders, she championed the move to destroy Mugabe but kept quiet over the unjust few Whites owing nearly 80% of the Zimbabwean land.

The same Clinton signaled to Abacha to transform to civilian president, but Abacha rebuffed him.
How much did Clinton pledge for the containment of HIV/AIDS pandemic that was predicted to deplete the African workforce if the rich nations did not intervene. Paltry 3 billion dollars. But President George W. Bush came in and raised it to 15 billion dollars saving millions of African lives.

The only thing credited to President Clinton was African Growth and Opportunity Act AGOA. But guess what? this well thought out plan to help Africa gain access to the huge American market was simply abandoned by the same Clinton and it was hijacked by the lobbyist and special interest. It was so bad Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr Even opposed it.

It was under President Clinton that more African Americans were sent to prison than any other time in American history. Having lost the House to the Republicans led by Newt Gingrich and facing defeat for his reelection in 1996 he hired the most far right arch conservative strategist Dick Morris to help him. Dick Morris strategy and advice to Clinton was simple; Sacrifice Blacks, they have no other political home, then go after the White voters. And so it went down. Under Bill Clinton Blacks suffer so much damages that they are yet to recover from. But this time, under Trump the unemployment rate among African Americans is at all time historic low in America.

So Bill Clinton signed the 1996 anti crime bill called Anti immigration and effective death penalty act. This singular act by Clinton put the predominantly African Americans death row inmates on fast track for execution. He watered down the habeas corpus which gives someone wrongly convicted or sentenced to death to have a chance to return to court to present new evidence. Perhaps DNA scientific evidence that might exonerate him or her as blacks were often targeted and wrongly convicted.

It was Bill Clinton who destroyed the Green card and made the path to citizenship far much more challenging for immigrants. A move that so affected Nigerians including those blaming Trump today while preserving Bill Clinton as great leader of their time. They forgot that Bill Clinton came from the deep Southern plantation state of Arkansas where racism and bigotry are simply wa way of life compared to Trump that came from the Yankee state of NewYork that fought in a civil war under Abraham Lincoln to end slavery and unleash the industrial revolution in the United states.

Many did not realize that President Clinton did not have one single black person in his inner security council. But George W. Bush a Republican president had two in top key positions: Gen. Collin Powel and Condoleezza Rice. But Clinton will be seen often praying with Jesse Jackson, playing golf with Vernon Jordan his black friend and Blacks in their docility considered him their friend with little or nothing to show for it.

Not realizing these things and reacting strategically and accordingly is the reason why most other races think that blacks are stupid. That’s why the disrespect us. No other races are abandoned and undermined in all practical ways and they still reward those implicated in such acts. Only Black people.

This is the notion being changed today by the people of former Eastern Nigeria as they broke ranks with the rest of others to align with those who will serve their security, and strategic interest based on their unique experience and peculiarity.

It doesn’t matter what others think because those others may never understand what it feels like to be an Igbo Christian in Southern Nigeria. They may never understand what it means to survive genocide. These people are following on the path of Florida Cuban Refugees and the Jewish lobbyist in their quest to standing with those who stand with them.

Even though most of us disagree with President Trump on the handling of some of the prevailing issues , perhaps his approach is very unorthodox but that’s part of that being perfect as a humanbeing. But at this very point in our lives and considering the very existential threats we are facing here we are not seeking to be loved and cuddled. We seek to be respected enough to be considered a worthy strategic partner in the unraveling global affairs.

I stand here to challenge those calling President Trump names to dispute any of what I’ve said here. And if these are facts that can be collaborated then why should anyone from this part of the world be compelled to uphold the people with such dismal record while castigating someone though different and even not easily likeable , but he has proven to stand up against the very trouble makers of this world that those before him treated with kid gloves of appeasements.

Lagos: Churches And Mosque To Open Between 16 & 21 Of June.

The Lagos State government has reviewed some of the protocols being used to curb the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the state.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday at the Government House in Lagos, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced that the government would be relaxing the measures in the coming days.

He explained that this included the approval to reopen religious centres in the next two weeks, although it would come with some conditions.

“Dear Lagosians, we have completed an extended first phase and now, we are entering the second phase of our easing of the lockdown, in line with the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and NCDC protocols on ease of lockdown,” Sanwo-Olu said.

He added, “From 14 days’ time, precisely from June 19 for our Muslim worshippers and from June 21 for our Christian worshippers; we will be allowing all of our religious bodies to open at a maximum of 40 per cent of their capacity and we will be working with them as expected.”

For places of worship with large crowds, the governor insisted that worshippers at such centres must not exceed 500 during a session.

He, however, noted that the government has allowed authorities to conduct more than one service but must maintain proper hygiene of the environment.

According to Sanwo-Olu, only Friday and Sunday services should be held for now and all other regular services, including night vigils, must be put on hold.

“As we all know, mass gathering during COVID-19 pandemic can be of serious public health consequences and there are documented evidence that mass gathering can increase the spread of this virus,” he stated.

The governor noted that the PTF had on Monday released a set of guidelines to further ease the lockdown but asked the state governments to build on the foundational guidelines issued and implement them to existing local realities.

In view of this, he announced that hotels and other hospitality businesses could reopen, and restaurants outside hotels were permitted to open for takeaway services only.

He explained that the government has engaged critical stakeholders in the last two weeks, including traditional rulers, various religious leaders, and members of the organised private sector in the state.

Sanwo-Olu said, “We have now granted offices and private businesses (excluding the prohibited one); all of our organised private sector and manufacturing concerns will now operate and open from 7am-6pm.

“There is a strategy to encourage them run shifts and other flexible hours within their facilities.”

He also announced that all banks can now begin full operation, adding that government officers on Levels 13 and 14 should resume work while those on Levels 1 to 12 would stay back home until further notice.

Rape Of Uwa In Benin, Two Suspects Arrested, Moved To Abuja.

By: De Prince

As the news of the brutal murder of the UNIBEN University, Uwa Omozuwa Still trending, the police in line with their promise to bring the perpetrators of this dastardly act to book has arrested two suspects.

According to VANGUARD Thursday that two persons connected to the incident that led to the purported gang-raping and murder of 100 level student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, have been moved to Abuja by the Inspector General of Police special investigation team.
The two suspects, it was gathered, were identified as some persons all agedly involved in a fracas in the vicinity shortly before the incident.

Also in the procession was the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin, Professor Lillian Salami, and other members of the management staff of the school.

Northern Emirs, Rulers Forced Me To Annul June 12, IBB Opens Up, Implicates David Mark, Abacha, Emirs.

The June 12, 1993 general elections in Nigeria adjudged as the most free and fair election ever conducted in the country, under the watch of the then Military Head of State, Rtd Gen. Ibrahim Babangida and Chairman of then National Electoral Commission, NEC, Prof. Humphrey Nwosu has remained an issue of concern in the democratic makeup of the Nigeria as it has formed series of debates.

Many questions has been raised as to why that election was annulled after been adjudged the best and having believed that Chief M.K.O. Abiola won.

According to a revelation by Professor Omo Omoruyi in his article on ‘The Tale of June 12: The Betrayal of the Democratic Rights of Nigerians’; the Gen. Ibrahim Babangida Rtd who annulled the June 12, 1993 election emphasied why he did not announce the winner. Read the his response below.

“They will kill me; they will kill the President Elect, Chief MKO Abiola if I went ahead with the election and announced the winner of the elections which we all know to be Bashorun, Chief MKO Abiola”

”I know so; I am not daft. He won; he tried. I feel bad about the whole matter. Professor, I do not see how they will spare you because they know you are my principal confidant. You think they do not know you? They know; they know you are with me now. They saw you coming in and they know you are with me now I cannot kill myself for the sake of what the country wants. I am sorry,” IBB lamented.

It was astonishing to hear a General stating that he could not lay down his life for his country but was clear that General Babangida was in a fix as of June 21st 1993. I then proceeded to deal with the questions of who were these “they” and for what reasons would they want to kill the President and the President Elect if the June 12 election were allowed to go forward. He named them in military and in ethnic categories:

Sani (meaning General Sani Abacha) is opposed to a return to civilian rule. Sani cannot stand the idea of Chief Abiola, a Yoruba becoming his Commander- in- Chief; Sani seems to have the ears of the Norhern leaders that no Southerner especially from the South West should become the President of the country. Sani seems to rally the Northern elders to confront me on the matter. He is winning; the Sultan and the Northern leaders are of this frame of mind.”

”Where do I go from here? They do not trust me. Without Sani, I will not be alive today; without the North, I would not have become an officer in the Nigerian Army and now the President of Nigeria I don’t want to appear ungrateful to Sani; he may not be bright upstairs but he knows how to overthrow governments and overpower coup plotters. He saw to my coming to office in 1985 and to my protection in the many coups I faced in the past, especially the Orkar coup of 1990 where he saved me and my family including my infant daughter.”

”Sani risked his life to get me into office in 1983 and 1985; if he says he does not want Chief Abiola, I will not force Chief Abiola on him.”

He also named Lt General Dongoyaro and Brigadier General David Mark as those who were against Chief Abiola. In fact, he quoted David Mark as saying: I’d shoot Chief Abiola the day NEC( National Electoral Commission) pronounces him the elected President!

So sad! The same David Mark went to Senate and became Senate President in a democracy that MKO Abiola died for.

MARCH WITH US! Floyd must get Justice.

By. Chris O. Maduka

One Spirit! One Goal!! One Love!!! That’s what makes America one of the greatest societies on earth.

Like Late Dr. King the slain civil leader clearly understood that the bank of American justice cannot be bankrupt, He clearly understood that in the hearts of many Americans there’s still something to be reached.

He appealed to his fellow Blacks to stay the course of Non violent approach because he realized that so many Americans, Whites, Blacks, Jews and the Gentiles will eventually turn around and March with them. And so they did as they turned around and March with them and the their world was changed for ever.

Someone may ask why can’t people follow the same civil disobedience and non violent approach in a place like Nigeria? Well, the answer is simple ; THERE’S NOTHING TO BE REACHED IN HEARTS AND SOUL OF SO MANY NIGERIANS.

We seem to have lost the sense of outrage and shame so many decades ago. When we stood by and watch non violent women and children who knew nothing about anything slaughtered in the 60s, when so many with few exceptions failed to show deep sense of remorse and empathy even after the genocidal civil, that’s when we lost our humanity.

Ever since then something seem to have died that has proven impossible to resurrect in hearts and souls of Nigerians. That thing that died is still alive in those military men, the greatest fighting force that got on their knees at the behest of a young Black woman with nothing but words of mouth and courage.

Even in 2020, nonviolent religious worshipers, tired old folks sleeping in their modest homes and surviving on their ancestral farm land are slaughtered like animals, and what do we do? First identify the tribe or ethnic group that fell victims in that instant and then look for one dumb and immoral excuse to justify that evil and nihilist behaviour.

Or is it not here that Police officers openly beat up a mother, a woman over nothing. A woman they supposed to protect. They brutalize her. And this is the case across Southern Nigeria where most forces come with a different mindset that informs them to act with impunity.

As we speak the Revisionists are hard at work trying to rewrite the history of how we got here. They have been in denial and little surprised that we are back to square One.

They are passing these lies to the next generation making it impossible for them to match together against a manifested evil, making their subjugation and certain defeat a certainty.
It is a very Hopeless outlook for our children. As we confuse them with our lies, we harden their hearts as they will once again miscalculate and see their brother or neighbor as an enemy and then the true enemy as some kind of benevolent benefactor he can trust or work with even when this has proven to be the opposite with empirical historical experience.

They choose to ignore the inherent malevolent nature of these people but instead choose to dwell in fools paradise everytime the opportunity presents it self to end this oppression and dwelling in what clearly seems to be a gangsta paradise.

I’ve asked a rhetorical question of our Southern leaders before;
My question was and still is: WHAT STOPS THE SOUTHERN LEGISLATIVE LEADERS TO STAGE A SYMBOLIC WALK OUT ON THIS GOVERNMENT?
Is ot that enough harm and injustice has not been done to the people of the South, or is it that some Southerners are feeling the heat more, so it is ok to manage and for how long?

What will such symbolic move of this huge group action take away from the people of the South?
Do we even realize the far reaching symbolic implications this act of solidarity will send to the world and those who’s strength has been the Southern weakness and division?

March with us can only resonate with people with a well developed conscience. It can only ring true with people with some sense of outrage. It is a waste of time in the land where the mindset is that one group must diminish or disappear so that others may rise.
In this type of stunted society the final solution may not be seeking understanding and love of those at the offensive. It is simply to demand for respect and the right to determine your destiny and shape your future.

In the final analysis, It is also important to note that in some situations the surest way to peace and Harmony is the certainty of mutual annihilation.

The Member representing Obowo State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Kennedy Ibeh has indicated interest to partner Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Imo State Chapter to curb fake news.

Am not concerned about 2023, the future lies in the hand of God. Henry Nwawuba

Few days ago a commentary was aired in one of the private stations in Owerri the capital of Imo State, accusing the member representing Mbaike federal constituency of high jacking the projects executed by the Chairman of Ikeduru Local Government council, especially on the donation of a transformer in one of the communities.

Hon. Nwawuba in response through a press release has cleared the air and accused those afraid of 2023 election to be masterminding the false commentary. Read below the press release.

Press Statement.

Re: Chuks Metuh’s Correction of facts.

The contents of a radio commentary sponsored by one Ezinwa Chuks Metuh in which invectives were poured on the person of Rt Hon Henry Nwawuba have been brought to our attention.

While the publication is laden with utterly false and disingenuous vituperations and unsubstantiated allegations, the most worrisome part is the insinuation that the Rt Hon Member operates with a bias against the great people of Ikeduru who have enthusiastically elected him twice to represent the Mbatoili/Ikeduru Federal Constituency.

We have recieved several calls from our great constituents in Ikeduru expressing concern over the potentiallly damaging commentary which ran for days in the constituency. In order to clear all doubts and to reassure Ndi Mbaike that they are all equal stakeholders in the Mbaike Expect More project, we wish to respectfully state as follows:

1. The mixup over the procurement of a 330KVA transformer for Umuoziri was addressed in a previous rejoinder but for further clarification, we wish to once more state here that the said transformer was acquired by the Ikeduru Local Government Council headed by Hon Chuks Metu. However, the cost of the installation and eventual commissioning was borne by Hon Henry Nwawuba in support of the efforts of the chairman of the council. The benefiting communities are aware of these facts and have expressed their gratitude to Hon Nwawuba for his intervention. It is therefore regrettable that Hon Metu who ought to be fully aware of these facts has chosen to play the drums of mischief to soil the image of Hon Nwawuba.

2. It is surprising for anyone to insinuate that Hon Nwawuba ‘s five years ( against the seven years alleged by Metu) in the House of Representatives have yielded nothing to the people of Ikeduru . At the risk of sounding immodest , Hon Nwawuba is proud to list only a few of his direct projects in Ikeduru to include the following;

1.Construction of Class room block at Iyishi Technical Secondary School
2. Installation of solar powered streetlights in Atta 1, Attah2, Amatta and Avuvu Communities
3. Renovation of Classroom block at Central School Uzoagba.
4. Construction of Health Center at Ugiriki
5. Establishment of Youth Farm at Umueze Ikeduru
6. Installation of solar powered borehole at Nneisi, Ugirike.
7. Completion of bridge, erosion control, and water shed works at Aboh/Uzoagba/Avuvu road
8. Renovation of open market stalls at Orie Amakohia
9. Ongoing construction of open market stalls at Umuri, Amaimo etc.
10. Donation of sewing machines to Ikeduru women.
11. Training of Ikeduru youths in Agro business through ministry of Niger Delta after which they were empowered with starter packs to start their farms.
12. Construction of Town hall in Nneise, Ugurike.
13. Facilitation of jobs for Ikeduru indigenes in the civil service , Armed Forces and social investment programmes.
14. Distribution of start up capital for small scale businesses .

There is a Marshall plan in place to electrify the entire constituency in the near future. These accomplishments and many more to follow will surely put the lie to the idle suggestion that Nwawuba’s presence is only seen on billboards.

3. We wish to observe that the primary purpose of the commentary is not just to bring the unstained name of Hon Nwawuba to disrepute, contempt and ridicule but to also distract him and make him weary over fears of a 2023 contest which is still three years away. We wish to make it clear that Hon Nwawuba has a mandate to execute between now and 2023 . He is therefore not obsessed with whatever comes thereafter as the future can only be determined by the Almighty God. Those expressing morbid fears over a race that is yet to commence should relax and allow time and destiny determine of our fate in due time.

4. Hon Nwawuba is not in the business of dimming the light of other people so that his will shine. To keep projecting the lie that he has hijacked the successes of others is in bad taste and does not honour our collective reputation as hard working and industrious people. Every success achieved by anybody in the constituency is to the glory of God and the benefit of Mbaike people. We should therefore remain as pillars of support for each other and not be consumed by the passion to tarnish the image of others.

5. We congratulate Hon Ezinwa
Chuks Metu for his achievements in office and we wish to express our admiration for his passion and boundless energy. We see him as a great partner of progress In Mbaike and we rather wish that he channels his famed creative energy to causes that will serve our people better rather than allow political considerations overwhelm his sense of good judgement .

6. Finally, Mbaike remains an undivided , indestructible and egalitarian constituency where no constituent shall suffer discrimination under the watch of the Rt Hon Henry Nwawuba.

Signed
Egejuru Austin T.
SA media to Hon Henry Nwawuba.

Justice For Tina: The Girl Shot By Police Officer Is Dead.

‪Tina, a 16 years old girl was shot by a trigger-happy Nigerian police officer yesterday at Iyana oworo. She died earlier today.‬

‪Tina’s offence: She’s Nigerian girl selling second-hand clothings by the roadside during haphazardly enforced Corvid:19 curfew. ‬

Who will seek justice for Tina? Who will avenge this cold blood, brutal and vicious murder of a helpless and innocent soul? Who will march and protest until the whole Nigeria Police headquarters intervene for the soul of Tina? Because Tina’s killer must not go unpunished. The officer must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and I want to the officer to be judged publicly to server as deterrant to others.

Also let the Nigeria Police publish the names of all police officers tried and convited for extra judicial Killing in Nigeria and the number of years they are to spend in prison and possibly the name the Prison that are serving, it will go a long way to tell the world that the Police and Federal government are taking for granted the lives of Nigerians killed by trigger happy officers.

Jungle Justice averted in Onitsha as the Nurse Accused of Child trafficking Cries for Justice.

As the Nurse caught in child trafficking scandal in Onitsha seeks justice.

Miss Chinwendu Okafor, a nurse who was nearly lynched following allegations that she stole a baby from a hospital and attempting to sell it at Upper Iweka area of Onitsha in Anambra state, has cried out for justice, insisting on her innocence.

Orient Weekend reports that a video clip showing Okafor’s encounter with a mob attempting to lynch her had gone viral on social media, generating mixed reactions.

Narrating her ordeal to reporters in Onitsha, Okafor, a staff member of Mother of Mercy Hospital, Okpoko, explained that she was carrying the baby of the woman that delivered through operation in her hospital when she was accosted by the mob who mistook her for a child trafficker.

She said, “The midwife and owner of the Mother of Mercy Maternity, had detailed me to take the baby with the father to another hospital where it would be placed on oxygen as it was not breathing well in our hospital.

“We drove to the hospital in the vehicle of the baby’s father but the nurses said the father and I should wait outside the gate even when I explained the baby’s condition to them.

“The nurses later told us that, after examining the baby, they tried calling their doctor but that he couldn’t be reached due to (telephone) network challenge.”

Okafor said the baby’s father demanded they should release his child to him so he could try another hospital in order not to lose the baby. As we drove to another hospital within the area, he requested we should alight from the car so he could look for where to park his car and catch up with us.

“It was while I waited for the father, the baby in my hand, that some passersby and those selling fruits around the area accosted me, demanding to know the owner of the baby.

“I explained to them that I was waiting for the father of the child who had gone to park his car, but all my explanations fell on deaf ears as they accused me of telling lies.

“People soon gathered, shouting that I stole a baby. Those with phones started taking video and still photographs of me while I cried for help,” Okafor sobbed.

She further revealed that the angry mob quickly rushed and called a female police officer to the scene. “The officer asked me to shut up and follow her to the Okpoko police station. I was about following her to the station when the father of the baby came. As he demanded to know what the matter was, the policewoman and two other officers insisted we must go to police station despite explanations on the critical condition of the child.

Okafor said they were later taken to Okpoko police station where one of the officers who had sympathy on baby, ordered the baby be taken to hospital.

She, however, said the baby later died at the hospital after the medical doctor discovered the blood was not coming out from its vein. “I cried and blamed the policewoman for not allowing us take the baby to the hospital on time. I told her that she would have handcuffed me and saved the child first. She could have, thereafter, arrested me if she found that I stole the baby. She, rather, started consoling me and the father.

Noting that she was devastated by the incident, the embattled nurse also begged the state government and security agents to carry out a proper investigation into the matter in order to exonerate her from the alleged crime which had already damaged her reputation.

“I call on government and security agents to investigate the matter in order to clear my reputation already destroyed by the trending video,” she decried.

Reacting, the midwife and owner of the Mother of Mercy Maternity, Okpoko, Mrs. Immaculata Egbuodike, described the victim as a dedicated staff, saying she was innocent of the allegations as speculated. “Chinwendu is one of my best staff, that was why I handed the baby to her to go with the father to the other hospital as the baby was not breathing well. I was surprised when I started hearing that they accused her of stealing the baby”, she said.

Meanwhile, the police public relations officer, Anambra state command, SP Haruna Mohammed, who confirmed the incident, however dismissed allegations of baby theft against the nurse as false.

“The fact in issue is that a woman delivered a premature baby through caesarean section (CS) and the doctor instructed the said nurse to carry the baby to another hospital in order to be kept inside an incubator in company of the child father.

“They were intercepted by some youth who suspected that the nurse stole the child on their way to the hospital at Upper Iweka. The youth were about to lynch her when police patrol team attached to Okpoko Division rescued and brought her to the station for discreet investigation.

“However, investigation revealed that the nurse is innocent and was actually sent by the doctor to carry the baby to another hospital shortly after the mother gave birth to the child through caesarean section where it was discovered to be a pre mature and needed to be kept inside an incubator in order to be alive. Unfortunately, the baby later died”, he said.

THE WORLD WAS WATCHING WHILE I DIE… Floyd

As he rose from his bed that day,
It was just another day for him
Another opportunity to stare at the blue sky,
Laugh at the sun and let his feet kiss the ground again
It was just another opportunity for him to smile at the world,
roll with his friends and embrace what the day brings.

What is life to him?
He’d heard it’s like a diminishing shadow with waning lights that could fizzle out in seconds.

He loved his mama
And his papa knew he was his hero
And if there was a Mrs. Right, he is hers for life.

His life has been a whirlwind
In a part of the world where he believed he belonged
He’s emptied his sweat here,
in dedicated service to his acclaimed motherland
If only he could earn his crumb
Shall he head home smiling to heaven.

Lying on his head
He would stare out through the window
And watch a thousand stars dance round the moon.

He has seen beauty
Like those moonlit nights under a tree
Songs of the birds spicing the night
While the trees danced a romance.

He liked to watch the flower blossom
Watch the stream sail
Watch the cloud drop tears of raindrop
He liked the sound it made on the roof
And how it felt on his body
As he walked through the street by noon.

But that morning,
As he sat in his car
He felt a real pang of fright
He’s always heard of a dead-end
Could this be it for him?

They called him a suspect
What does it mean in this part of the world?
He’d willingly hand himself over
if that means a chance to talk with mama again.

As they approached,
Four hefty man, armed to the teeth
Their face a mask of horror,
More fear crept into him
and left him whitewashed with hopelessness.

The sky turned black
And the singing of the birds evaded his eardrum
He’s known pain but here’s him pinned to the ground
Hands in locks,
Four foot on his back,
a foot on his neck sniffling dear life out of him.

‘I can’t breath’
But not even his cries is enough to arouse a tiny sympathy from these humans.

We are brothers aren’t we?
He’d been told we all bleed red
Are of the same mother earth
Are one big family
But what brothers subject brothers to this kind of confusion, pain, tortour with an intention to send him to the great beyond?

His offense, what is it?
Even if there’s one, is this how to pay for it?
Pinned to the ground by those who have sworn to protect you,
Humiliated before the glare of the world and your tears called a joke?

Tears you couldn’t even shed anymore
Because your lungs has failed you and air has eluded you
You see your life leaving you-
dumping you to the brutal fate of painful death.

The sun that you loved so much,
Now a dark ball of gloom
Your eyes are gone
Like withered leaves of a tree
But before you die,
You want the world to know you can’t breath
You want the world to know you’re thirsty.

No! The world is not short of water,
but the humans he called brothers.
Have denied him this free gift of nature

Now you know why…
But you forgot that before you were born,
You were already guilty
Because you will come coloured BLACK!

And whatever happened,
The world watched till you died.

TIS shares food Palliative to the people of Ndiamazu Arondizuogu to survive Covid-19.

The ember of goodwill has has fanned on the people Ndiamazu in Arondizuogu Onuimo Local Government of Imo State.

This kind human gesture came to them through an Illustrious son of the town based in Washington DC, United States of America, Mazi Emmanuel Osita Irono and his Amiable Wife Mrs. Oge Irono through their foundation To Inspire Strong (TIS),which has done so much especially among African-American community, and was coordinated by Mazi Chris O. Maduka.

The event which took place on Sunday 24th May, 2020 at Ndiamazu Arondizuogu, the Aged, Widows, Orphans and Indigents of the community came out in their huge numbers to shared thousands of bags of Rice, Beans, Garri, Salt, Onions and cartons of Indomies provided by the TIS as palliative to them during this Covid-19 pandemic period.

To ensure that this activity was done without fear or favour and to ensure that all government and medical specifications were fully observed, the Coordinator ensured that security agents from the Police and Nurses were on ground to ensure orderliness and physical distance observed properly adding that all the participants had their Nose mask.

The Coordinator Mazi Chris O. Maduka was grateful to God and his childhood friend for remembering such people at home this period in his exact words he said: “This Intervention is like a test run of a system to ascertain what’s possible and build a template on which other direct intervention and empowerment can flow.

So beyond the food intervention under the Covid-19 lockdown there’s plan to expand the structure following the experience and lesson learned from this to get involve in other areas of; Infrastructural and social development, expansion of Agriculture through assurance to farmers and infact being off takers for the farm produce. There’s plan to encouraging entrepreneurship and many more.

That’s why the organizers of this palliative ensured that it met the very standard that is consistent with the containment and defeat of the Covid-19 virus.

We are developing a database that will keep track of what individuals at the rural level are doing. From such records determination can be made as to how to directly intervene in empowering the individual”.

The beneficiaries of the food palliative were full of praise to God and thanks to their son and husband Mazi Emmanuel Irono and his Lovely Wife Mrs Oge Irono for remembering them at a time like this, providing them with foods assorted to eat and be alive, many could not hold back tears as they prayed God to keep him and family to old age and in good health.

New Media Galaxy crew were on ground to cover the event. From Ndiamazu Arondizuogu we are reporting.

THE WORLD IGBO CONGRESS COMES UP MAY 30TH VIA ZOOM.

Need we remind them that;

THE IGBOS IN THE DIASPORA ARE THE HOPE OF IGBOS.

A reaction upcoming World Igbo Congress by: Mazi Chris O. Maduka

The Igbo Diasporans are the ultimate saviours of the Igbos in the homeland. This is the burden and responsibility they must take seriously and bear with fortitude.

That that they must stop celebrating failed leaders as rock stars when they come visiting. They shouldn’t let them drive the show or the event. The Diasporans and other people that have proven and distinguished themselves without the constraints and burden of political baggages and compromises
Must drive and shape the crucial event, otherwise the current crop of politicians will drive it aground as they’ve done here with nearly everything.

Give them marching others or put them on notice about the dire consequences they face anywhere in the world. ENOUGH OF THIS FOOLISHNESS.

Let them wake up and take a stand with all the manifest danger we face today.

COVID-19: Dangerous Selective Enforcement Of The Restriction Of Movement.

-Chris O. Maduka

Those who argued and wrote about the TALE OF TWO CITIZENS have once again been vindicated.

Even the Covid-19 life and death situation is politicized as the rules are selectively and dangerous enforced.

They shared money to them in the North and now in a coordinated arrangments are shipping their undesirables and their possible mischief makers to the people of the South. Yet the People of the South, arguably some of the most useless and irresponsible lot are busy pointing fingers backwards and misdirecting their energies towards their neighbors. They seem less perturbed by the growing existential threats. They are rather engrossed with jealously and wicked perception renewed each day by false revisionist narrative of how we got to where we are today.

They help to sustain the growing inequality of the citizens before the law or under the constitutional provision by their preoccupation with party politics. They are preoccupied with other concerns that ought to take back burner today. A clear case of one chasing after the rat while his or house is engulfed with fire.

The rules and the enforcement are used to chain the South and have them under tactical military occupation while the Northern citizens and states are allowed to live dangerously free. None of the rules made for the rest of the Nigerians apply to them, including the World Covid-19 rules and restrictions.

Instead we saw their citizens being shared money by the Minister of finance. But the Southerners are left to their own fate even while under locks and keys.

It is no longer news that the Northern regions borders are left porous and unmanned while the Southern borders are heavily manned by the predominantly Northern security agents and personnel. That is so because it is less risky and very’very lucrative to be stationed around the Southern borders. So they took that one also as they’ve taken nearly everything that is good in the South including your oil.

The Nepotism in Nigeria has gone way too far. The selective prosecution and enforcement of rules that almost always apply strictly to the South has now taken a dangerous turn as the red eyed, unemployable and non value adding teenage boys (a creation of cumulative Northern neglect even after being in power for decades since independence) are being allowed to infiltrate the South from across different heavily policed and manned road blocks from the North.

FROM HENCEFORTH;
No Security Agency or personnel has the Moral Rights or Authority to Stand on the Southern Roads to collect daily tolls or bribe in the name of Covid-19 Movement Restrictions enforcement when they seem to have broken their own rules by Aiding and abating the Influx of Possible Covid-19 positive, unidentified, undocumented, neglected, and not so neglected but rather equipped and trained Mischief makers to move freely and float freely from the Northern Nigeria down to the Southern Nigerian states.

It is a truism that you cannot break the law to uphold the law. Yet that’s exactly what the Security and even the so called the Presidential taskforce on Covid-19 seemed to have done.

They’ve flaunted, contravened and violated their own rules in what’s the global life and death situations. So it is now up to the people of Southern Nigeria to do what’s natural to all normal and sane people; to simply protect and preserve their lives. Or continue to postulate with their claim of book knowledge that has simply turned great many of us into enlightened morons even as the danger thickens and becomes more palpable.

Obviuolsly the rules are not evenly enforced. The good goes to the North, but the bad goes to the South. That’s just the simple practical rule of engagement regardless of what the misguided political leaders say. Their opinion so far has been guided by one thing and one thing only; their political survival to continue on the path of profligacy and graft.

For how much longer???

Pandemonium in Umuahia as Keke Riders attacked Deputy GM Traffic and Indiscipline Management Agency of Abia State.

The Deputy General Manager Traffic And Indiscipline Management Agency of Abia State Comrade Smart Uwakwe was allegedly mobbed today by members of a Tricycle Union in Abia state known as ATRIWA

Read below his statement…

Press Statement!

My Name is Smart Uwakwe, I am the Deputy General Manager of Traffic And Indiscipline Management Agency of Abia State – TIMAAS.

This is an official statement of what transpired today 21st May 2020, between me, my staff and Tricycle Operators Under the aegis of ATRIWA at Isi gate Umuahia.

At about 10:00am today, I received a call from the Umuahia Chapter Chairman of one of the Tricycle Unions in Abia state, ATRIWA, Mr. Chinomso who called to plead on behalf of their member who drove against traffic (ONE WAY) and was apprehended by our men on duty.

Keke Riders Blocking the Street around Isi-gate
As at the time he called, our workers had already issued a government ticket to the erring Keke Rider and I told him that I can’t alter a government ticket, that it is already beyond me.

Few minutes later, Barr. St. Moses Ogbonna, the State Chairman of the same ATRIWA also called me over the same issue and I also explained my predicament to him, that the office had already issued a government ticket to the offender, and he said I should find a way to assist him.

They wanted and pressured me to alter the ticket the Agency had issued but there was no way I was going to pay for the mistakes of another.

Few minutes after dropping that call, another call came in from my men on duty, informing me that ATRIWA executives and Keke riders are holding them hostage, ordering us to release the Keke in our custody or else they will not release our men. That they had blocked Isi-gate and the adjourning streets and are mobbing my workers and harassing other road users.

One of the personal oaths I took is to never abandon my men in the field, through thick and thin.

So I drove down to Isi-gate, packed my Car and started engaging their Executive.

At a point, seeing the pandemonium and the chaos that could emanate from the face-off and after informing my Superiors, we released the said Tricycle to the executives of ATRIWA, after they had agreed to abide by Government laid down rules of obeying traffic rules and regulations which will also Forestall the spread of the COVID-19 Virus.

My efforts to address them as a body, and at least create some awareness on safety measures met a brick wall and serious mob action and physical assault on me and my men.

We decided to take our leave after their Executives assured us that they will work on their members to be law abiding through this period the world is facing a Global health crisis.

Only for me to get to where I parked my car to see that the 4 tyres of my car and that of the 2 operational vehicles my men were working with, had been deflated.

We did not quarrel or raise eye brows about it, we saw it as a mob action knowing that what really they wanted from us was just a little reaction for them to justify what would have been a blood bath and the lynching of my men.

Again we left the scene in search of Vulcanizers, thinking that they had done their worst, only to return with the Vulcanizers to see my car and the 2 operational vehicles in Ruins.

They had shattered all the glasses, carted away valuables in my car and which I am yet to ascertain, took away the batteries, spare tires, Jack’s and the doors of the mini buses my men use as operational vehicles.

It is unfortunate that Tricycle operators would constitute themselves into such a nuisance to the society to the extent of assaulting and molesting Government workers on official duty.

I urge law enforcement agents to expedite action towards bringing the perpetrators of this dastardly act to book while waiting for Government Action on this matter.

Smart Uwakwe
