IMO STATE ONLINE PRACTITIONERS CELEBRATES WITH CHRISTIANS ON EASTER.

*PRESS RELEASE*

The Imo State Chapter of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria celebrates with Christian faithfuls across the world on the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Imo OMPAN advised Christians to love their neighbours, be their brothers keepers as well as use the occasion to reach out to the needy in society.

This is a time of reflection for Christians and mankind to check the lives they lead, make amends and live aright in order not to make the Easter celebration a vain thing because Jesus Christ is the reason for the season.

Christians are to emulate the exemplary lifestyle of Christ at all times; love and forgive easily as ultimately shown by Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.

The Association urges Christians to always keep hope alive for a better tomorrow even in the recent trying time of Coronavirus pandemic.

Keep watch, obey the safety instructions of governments and pray for God’s intervention for He is Abundantly Able to end the Coronavirus pandemic which has ravaged the earth.

With God by our side, every trial of life and the end of the novel Coronavirus is settled.

Let the joy of the resurrection of Jesus Christ fill your hearts and family and cause you success in all lost hopes and barren facets of your lives to resurrect and bounce back to life as He rightly stated on the cross that it is finished.

God Bless the World. He is Risen. Alleluia.

Happy Easter Celebrations.

BROADCAST TO THE PEOPLE OF IMO STATE ON THE OCCASION OF EASTER CELEBRATION BY THE GOVERNOR DIST. SEN. HOPE UZODINMA ON
SATURDAY APRIL 11, 2020.

My good people of Imo State, I salute you from the bottom of my heart on this occasion of Easter celebration. I thank God Almighty for having such warm and understanding people like you, as my own people. Without your commitment, total support and prayers, I cannot succeed in my duties.

Gov. Uzodinma

It is gratifying that in the few months I have been in office as your governor, you have given your unalloyed support and love to my administration. These gestures are indeed heartwarming and I sincerely appreciate you for that.

Easter is here again, a season Christians worldwide celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is an annual season of inestimable joy because by dying on the cross Christ shed his blood as a seal of Divine assurance of our redemption. And by his resurrection he secured for us life everlasting. So we should rejoice and be glad at Easter.

Yet this year’s celebration has come at a troubling time of global and national emergency because of the threat of COVID 19. It has come at a time when our citizens are compelled to make painful sacrifices to preserve their health and wellbeing and that of their children. I know that most Christians are at a loss what to do with this year’s Easter celebration. Are we to mourn and lament because of our present COVID 19 induced hardships? Or are we to rejoice and be glad that Christ who died to save us from sin has risen to give us the key to eternal life?

But I tell you sincerely that you will do well to savour the joy of Easter for Christ is risen indeed and his resurrection is the assurance we need that after the tribulation come the shouts of joy and Alleluia. Yes, our faith as Christians assures us through Christ that after the rain comes sunshine.

As your governor, I am most conversant with the current tribulations of our people whose lives have been brought to a standstill by the sorry incidence of this global pandemic. The corona virus threatens the world at large and has no doubt made tragic inroads into our dear country.

There are good lessons we can learn from the 1918 Spanish influenza, otherwise known as the Spanish flu. Like coronavirus it hit the whole world suddenly and spread like wild fire. it killed about 50 Million people all over the world. Again like coronavirus there was no cure. The only remedy to the virus was isolation, quarantine, good personal hygiene, use of disinfectants and ban on Public gatherings. Today, over 100 years after, the world is faced with a similar threat from a similar virus. Again without any cure nations and leaders are resorting to the same remedies, Isolation, Good Personal Hygiene, use of Disinfectants, Ban on Public Gatherings e.t.c. This historical experience invites us to take these preventive and control measures against COVID 19 most seriously.

The truth is that the hard and painful decisions we have taken to prevent and contain the incursion of the virus into Imo State were forced on us purely by circumstances beyond our control. Moreover these measures have been applied with good results, by other countries that have suffered the scourge of the corona virus.

I appeal to you once again to cooperate with government’s efforts to prevent the virus from coming into our state and to contain it if unfortunately it makes its way through. I therefore call on all true lovers of Imo State and her people, to shun partisan politics and join hands to protect the lives of our people. As painful as these measures are we must bear them as the necessary sacrifices we must make to stay alive and healthy. NDUBUISI, life is the most important of all things, as our people say. This saying should constantly remind us that no sacrifice is too much to make to preserve life.

Thank God Almighty, there is no report yet of any single case of corona infection in our dear Imo State. This is very good reason to give thanks and praises to the Most High especially as we celebrate the Risen Christ, by whose suffering and death, we have the assurance of everlasting life.

Our joy and celebration of Easter, the foundation of our Christian faith, must not be encumbered by the present hardships. Whatever we know today about limiting the spread of the corona virus is a mighty gift from our Lord. We must keep the faith by maintaining the same standards of hygiene and vigilance that has kept our state corona virus free till now.

Let us continue to wash our hands regularly in running water as I have continuously advised. Avoid crowds, keep a safe distance from other people, sanitize your hands regularly, and refrain from shaking the hands of others.

Moreover, we must never stop, from thanking the Almighty God for his mighty and continuing benevolence to the good people of Imo State. Yes our vigilance and the unrelenting efforts of government has so far helped to keep Coronavirus away from our people but we must give God the glory for the success so far.

As a Christian, I feel pained that I will not be able to celebrate Easter Church Service in a congregation. But I also understand that it is a sacrifice I must make to prevent Covid 19 from having a veritable space to strike in our state. Let us all bear this painful sacrifice together and observe the Easter service either online or through the relevant electronic medium that applies to your denomination or through the Halleluiah Channel just opened by DSTV, in support of the global fight against COVID 19. In doing so, we must be confident that God who hears our prayers in secret will also accept our service through these dedicated channels. We should equally use the opportunity to pray fervently to God for an end to the coronavirus pandemic.

As part of our determined effort to alleviate the hardships our people are forced into because of this virus, by the end of today, every single community in the state, would have taken delivery of foodstuffs such as rice, yam, indomie, tomatoes, groundnut oil e.t.c. It is my sincere hope that these deliveries will help to make the Easter merrier for our people.

Let us emulate Christ and bear our present COVID 19 hardships with the uncommon patience and perseverance with which Christ bore his passion and tribulations before his crucifixation. As we do, and putting all our trust in God, as Christ did, let us be confident that we shall triumph over Coronavirus as Christ triumphed over death.

My beloved people of Imo state do not be afraid. Be firm. Be vigilant. Be safety conscious. Be confident, but above all trust God. We shall overcome COVID 19 to the glory of God.

I wish us all, a happy and very reflective Easter celebration.

Thank you all and God bless

Mrs Etuk said that “Mrs Esther Frank, is in her early thirties and just graduated from the University and is yet to go for NYSC.

The husband who is currently in Dubai I from Delta State while the dead wife if from Anambra state.

Before committing the act she sent her three-year-old boy to come and stay with my children. Which was strange as she has never done so before. She told me that she was going to buy something, that I should please take care of her children and it was son that took me inside their house to check his little sister crying.

“I ran out and informed the landlady and the other tenants. They came and saw the bottle of sniper laying on the floor. We rushed her to the hospital where she died. The landlady later reported the incident to the Police, ‘B’ Division.

When the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Nndum Fredrick was contacted, he said he was yet to be briefed on the incident.

Taking life you can not give is never an option.

Please what’s your take on this…?

Landlady stabs her tenant with broken bottle out of jealousy.

Wonders they said shall never end, this was seen played out in abulado a suburb of Lagos state, it was a fight between a landlady and her tenant.

The tenant was living in her home without any problem with anybody but little did she know that devil is cooking unriped plantain for her.

Her landlady has been jealousing her the way her husband takes good care of her, how her kids looks and how the tenant looks after them.

Thinking on how to cut the woman’s joy short without any offence. It all started that the landlady do go to her tenant’s shop to buy items without payment, but the last happened this lockdown period when she went again and bought tomotoes without payment after few days the tenant confronted her for payment, instead of her to pay or address the issue in a polite manner she picked up fight with her and quickly ran to where she kept broken bottle, picked it and used it on her tenant’s face(jaw area).

This lockdown will unveil many things.

Nigeria and Italy who needa the help of Chinese medical Team?

Covid-18: Italy with 18,279 Deaths needs China Doctors not Nigeria with just 6 deaths.

Since the outbreak of Corona virus in Nigeria as announced by the Ministry of Health, many controversies has been trending, many said its a scam, others said it’s true, many others said it’s true but few Nigerians want to use it to enrich themselves.

Now my question is , why is it just in Nigeria that everything is politicised even the very life of the electorates are used for political campaigns and gains.

Take for example our Leaders do travel to Italy , China, America and other big countries for madical treatment, yet these countries has recorded high level of death in thousands for Corona Virus with all those world class laboratory, scientific, treatment equipments, yet the death toll was very high.

But for over a month in Nigeria now just 6death has been recorded and still they are hidden and those who tested positive has been hidden too from the public only that of the governor’s and Also Rock chief of staff that was made public.

Nigeria imported or was imposed Chinese medical doctors just for the record of 6deaths.

My question: why is Nigeria in need of China doctors instead of countries like USA, Italy who has recorded high death by Covid-19? To me it’s funny and looks like a scam.

All these same since these doctors arrived I see them as medical students reason best known to me.

Why quarantine the Chinese medical team for 14 days before they start work? Is that you are not sure of their status before they left China to arrive Nigeria? Or could it be they hidden to perfect their tricks before their release to do the mission?

Also I asked if at all we need their help urgently, 14 days is it not enough to looseany souls? Nigeria Medical Association cried and rejected importation of the said doctors but FG ignored them and did what he wanted.

Does it mean NMA don’t have a say in the health system of the nation? I need explanation on a statement credited to Bill Gate that Nigeria should suffer more casualties in nearest future because of Covid-19? Any hidden agenda?

Why is Nigeria a Testing Ground.

God will always save his own.

5G is not the Mark of 666 but an agenda that will assist it’s operations

5G is an improvement over 4G it is 10x faster than 4G. 5G is not the 666 but 5G is part of the medium for introducing the 666. How ? Now look at this.

With a 5G phone , you don’t need to move around with your Phone. You just keep it at home. But a MicroChip will be implanted under your skin. With that Micro Chip . you can answer your phone with your body and you can call someone with your body without using phone. The device can read your mind. They know your next action before you do it.

With a 5G and the Implant MicroChip you don’t need an International Passport at the air port and you can do any bank transaction any where in the world. And that means you can use it to buy and sale. (Can you see that BUY AND SALE, Rev 13 ) Tomorrow a leader would rise up and say nobody should buy and sale until you have that MicroChip (666) clearly that’s what the Bible warned us, 2000 years ago.

They know Christians will not buy the Idea of MicroChip Implant that’s why people like Bill Gates a confirmed FREEMASON is saying everybody should take vaccination. They want to secretly introduce the Implant through the vaccination and we Christians say no to their vaccination, because whether the MicroChip is the 666 or not God has warn us in Rev. 13 thousands of years before this evil people were born not to put any microchip Implant in our body. They produce a disease and they are bringing a solution to the disease (Think about that) . We can’t stop their plans, because God didn’t say we (Christians) can stop them, but we have to warn people, not to fall to their traps.

They suppose to introduce CORONA VIRUS a man made disease since 2012 . 50% of this evil people and people that brought this CORONA VIRUS live in America , the coming of Donald Trump dealt with their plans greatly that’s why they had to move to China an ungodly nation to launch it. But God is above them, they are trying to go faster than God. The foolish people thing they are intelligent but unknown to them they can not destroy Earth that they did not create.

The CORONA VIRUS, 5G and the MicroChip is just a rehearsal by this evil people , they can not force it on everybody until Christians are raptured away for the wedding feast between JESUS CHRIST GLORIFIED and His bride (Church) . CHRISTIANS do not get panicked and start losing hope on life that JESUS CHRIST is coming now and you say what is the hope in life. Yes JESUS CHRIST is coming very soon but nobody knows when. Please go ahead with your normal activities. Go to school, get married , aspire in life but be more wiser. Watch and pray with the consciousness that JESUS can come the next minute. Stop living carelessly anymore. As we wait for his coming at anytime. Let’s Preach the Gospel everywhere in the world and get as many people as possible to Jesus.

Agbala Community gets a brand new Solar Powered Borehole from Imo River Basin Authority.

Water is one of the commonest but most essential to human lives, you do without food, cloths and everyother thing but you can’t be do without water.

Everything living thing needs water to survive, plants needs water to grow, bear fruits and for longevity, animals also needs water for survival, human beings too needs water to live and be clean and healthy.

Agbala is one of the fastest growing communities in Owerri North L.G.A. of Imo state, a nearest town to Owerri Municipal that accommodating the state capital itself, Agbala has increased in population in recent time as majority of the people who works and does business in Owerri live and operates from Agbala daily and this gave rise to speedy development to the community.

As usual, one of the social amenities that pose challenge to such developing communities is water and the case of Agbala is not different, if not for the help of certain individuals, mainly strangers who has boreholes in their homes and gives people free water it would have been more than what it used to be.

All the same Agbala has a vibrant young man as their traditional ruler who has enforced unity and security in Agbala to see that their visitors have a conducive environment for living.

His fight against cultism is second to none and his cabinet members are working harmoniously with him to achieve this success.

Few weeks ago, Eze Malachy Ọnụ the OLELE II of Agbala took the bull by the horn and attract a sola powered Bore hole to his community to alleviate the sufferings of his people and visitors on water, it was powered by Anambra and Imo River Basin Authority which is a Federal Government Institution.

This project takes barely seven days from the commencement to finishing and today Agbala has a functional Solar Powered Bore Hole. We pray God to keep him and let him look into the power issues and find a possible means for the Transformer purchased last year to be installed and energised to increase the power supply in the area.

How man was raped by a secretary and Receptionist

In the year 2000 I sat for my SSCE in the east, Imo state to be precise, after that I came to Lagos to stay with my cousin who is now a Priest. But he started maltreating me which made me came back to Imo and went back to stay with a friend the next year.

I was happy now that I can do things and make little savings for my family back in the east. I was working with one company called Consolidated Foods and Beverages LTD, but the salary was small and is by daily allowance.

So I saw a notice board somewhere in Ajamgbadi for a assist manager and secretary I applied and I was asked to come on a Saturday around 10.

With galdness I went to the place since I was on night duty so I prepared to go to work from there, but I didn’t inform anybody even my friend I was staying in his house because I want to make it big before they know it.

JJC I was you know. Getting the place I saw two ladies different from the ones I met the previous day, immediately they saw me they looked at each other and beemed smile, they asked my if am here for an interview my response was in the affirmative and I was given a chair.

Sooner I was asked my name I told them, they asked me few questions as to conscientize with me and we flowed, the next thing one of the ladies slightly closed one the door I wanted to ask why, the other came right before me and fling her cloth before me that was all I could remember.

Until about two hours later I woke from another room naked with the two ladies half naked smiling and asking if I need more, need what? I asked they looked at each and smiled again.

In fact they told me to wear my clocth and go home with a complement that they enjoyed me and urge me to come next time if I need their services.

I was scared , what if they killed me, or tagged me a thief, so I quietly walked home shamefully without telling anybody nor went to work that day. The agony was in me for weeks.

The worst of it was that I feared been infected with HIV by the girls, and was not bold enough to go and test myself until few years back before my wedding.

Before then o never believed women can rape men.

How I was raped by Pastor that made stop going to church

I was born in good Christian home and I enjoyed going to church and every activities in the church.

I was in the choir, and praise and worship team until I wrote my final exams and went to Delta State to stay with my Auntie and her family. There in Delta my Auntie’s husband was an Elder in the church I won’t like to mention her name.

And I quickly joined the band, with help of my Auntie’s husband many protocols were shelved off, 6weeks to the church and in band the Pastor started Dumbing me each time I led in praise or worship, I thought it was just to encourage me until one Sunday afternoon the Pastor demanded to see after service, my family were happy that pastor could demand to see me, that means he’s happy with service to God.

But reaching there the pastor stood up and hugged me, immediately I discovered his big manhood is up and looking for whom to devour, I became scared but he told me not to be that nobody will me beauty without his body reacting, that is just normal, he now appreciated the way I came to his church and immediately join the band and was doing well.

He gave me a white envelope as a token of appreciation, I quickly reminded him that I need not to appreciated since it god’s work, but he appreciation is allowed. I took it and stood up to go he grabbed my hands and moved it to his trouser and began to Robb it on his … And kissed me and I left.

But at home I became dead and could not understand what it was and at night I dreamed having sex with him, and that was it, the next Saturday I went church early to inform him about the dream the worst happens and I was raped by him.

From that day I stopped going to church and never told anybody why. But now I want to open up should I tell the whole world or my family or keep.mute forever?

5G Network why USA and Europe are against it.

Ethics and morality is the factor. Over 70% products in Europe are manufactured in China according to their specifications. China brought them and their great companies together in China to steal their technologies and business using cheap Labour, cheap credit facility and large market. Now they are almost empty.

If HUAWEI shuts their operation in Europe over 70% of Europe will loose mobile telephony. It’s as bad as that. America is battling 5G because it has great implications on sensitive technologies that make them world power. Corona Virus may be a Bio weapon, USA and China know about it.

WHO should also know because the WUHAN lab in suspect is a WHO lab. It has no direct relationship with 5G. USA is afraid of satellites which will run more effectively with 5G, robotics, Biotechnology, manufacturing processes, telecoms, internet access, database hacking etc.

But they slept over the years on the ideals that made them a superpower from being a strange new found land over staunch nations including China. Research is key. 70% workforce in Chinese Technology companies are high profile research staff with just 30% as conventional workforce.

Most of these research workers are from the best of Europe and America who are not regarded in their lands but are stars in China with Chinese citizenship. The west may be more liberal with humanity because China is a non Christian and Communist nation. Trump is the last hope of the west yet they are ignorantly fighting him. Nations fall, Nations Rise. In all the trends research plays key role.

How Harmful is 5G Network? By Henry Uzoma

NMG: what’s your take on this 5G Network considering Rumuors of its health Dangers especially with the warnings from USA and Europe continent.

Mr. Henry: thanks to you my brother:

There is no scientific proof beyond known radiation principles on the much noise about 5G. 5th generation network – 5G is an advancement on 4th generation network – 4G which you are using now. The upper limit of its frequency will be 10,000,000,000hz and it’s microwave while the sun’s Ultraviolet rays are at least a million hertz more than microwaves.

The microwave is not even ionizing radiation like X rays, gamma rays which are higher and more dangerous to health yet we use them. 5G will add tremendous speed to networks. as we get hooked in internet of things, he who controls 5G may likely have monopoly of driving emerging technology, society and economy. 5G for now is a Chinese technology and that is the problem. Will America and Europe watch China control the satellites, Robotic technologies, Biotechnology, telecom, smart programs etc.

Sure we Africans are still in the 18th century and have no stake here. Nigeria if not Corona was to issue licence for 5G in February, 2020. At least knowledge they say is power, with my little knowledge as a researcher in Engineering, Environment and Safety, I know the much noise about 5G is to stop China because it has no scientific basis.

Thanks for your time to give us this your Hypothesis.

It’s my pleasure.

Angry Soldiers Invade NEPA Office, Flog Manager Mercilessly Over Poor Power Supply.

It was like a scene out of an action movie when about 6 soldiers attached to the 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta, Ogun State and led by one Major Musa, stormed the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company ( IBEDC ) substation – Olumo business hub, Rounder – on March 6 and beat up Salau Adekunle, the man on duty, over poor power supply.

Workers of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company say they have become fearful in their office when the soldiers descended on Adekunle, the substation’s distribution officer, with horse whips, because, presently on the average, the barracks and environs get 5 hours supply daily, which falls short of the soldiers’ expectation.
Narrating his experience to the Punch,Adekunle said:
“They told me to get up and without explanation, they started beating me. They complained that they did not get supply regularly, but it is not our fault.

They said they would be the ones to determine the number of hours they want power. We told them it was not possible, but they didn’t want to listen.”

Corroborating the story, Adekunle’s colleague, said, “Electricity supply is divided into 3 levels – generation, transmission and distribution. This implies that generation affects transmission, which in turn affects distribution.
“If there is less sufficient generated power, then there will be less power at our own side to distribute to the community, including the barracks. Before now, there was supply for at least 8 hours and at times, 15 hours. Electricity generation has reduced from 4517MW to 2800MW and now to over 1500MW.
“All this is known and understood by the soldiers, but they pretend as if they do not know; that is why they now get 5 hours’ supply per day. Initially, the soldiers blamed us. Soon, it graduated to threats. They once arrested us and took us to their barracks and detained us for hours; l was a victim.”

Another official said they had been living in fear since the incident happened, adding that threats from the soldiers had intensified. “They said it would not be threats again, but killing. Major Musa said he would send soldiers we don’t know. We spoke out because we cannot wait for them to kill us.

Covid-19: Imo State records Zero Case as Government commissions Isolation centres

The people of Imo state is thanking God for keeping the state free from this Corona Virus menace, ravening the country and the entire world at this moment.

This is because the suspected man that died few days ago Chief Christinatus Aguwa which was alleged to have died of the virus did not die of the said ailment but kidney failure.

Following the report of the chairman of Association of hotel owners who said that Chief Aguwa has been suffering of kidney failure for some time before the outbreak of the Covid-19 and that since no medical test was ran on him before his demise it can not be said he died of it.

Though reports had it that he visited home few days before his death, which made Imo state health and Covid-19 health taskforce to quarantine his family and staff of Fancy hotel where he lodged during his Visit but was all released yesterday as they tested negative to the virus.

So the people of Imo are thanking God and praying that He continue to keep them safe till the end of this pandemic.

So it’s now clear Agusa did not die of Covid-19.

Tears in Rivers State as police Brutalized a woman for buying food items

Tears and blood flows in Port Hacourt as Police brutalized woman in over food item.

Now the story has changed in the fight of Corona virus in most of our states as our security agents are now the ones using us to practicalize their training.

Police and Army are now brutalizing Nigeria citizens in the name of lockdown over Covid-19, as reports from Abuja, Delta, Imo and Rivers States now confirmed that many been injured and even one shot dead.

Now in Rivers State, people no longer die of Corona virus but our government are the ones killing us now all in name of fighting Corona virus..

police are going about destroying people goods and beating people that are looking for a way to buy food items for their families to eat,

this woman was seen on the road with a small bag of food items that she brought for her family and they wanted to take it from her and she refused that’s why they flog her like this with Cain’s this just happened at Bende Street Port Harcourt Rivers State,

This is share wickedness and hatred. But let me ask why is it only south south, south east? But in other Geo political zones no stories of such. I perceive danger and mission.

Government should do something immediately.

The brutality of security agents to Our Citizens is unacceptable.

Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN) has noticed with dismay, the highhandedness of some security agencies who have been caught on tape manhandling journalists. The only crime committed by these journalists is that they dared the odds to remain in the streets to report COVID-19 response across Nigeria in a selfless show of patriotism.

It is particularly shocking that instead of commendation, the Nigerian journalists are being battered in clear breach of their rights as professionals going about their national service.

OMPAN calls on the heads of Nigerian security establishments to reign in their operatives. The journalist is supposed to be protected and not endengered.

OMPAN will like to also use this opportunity to call on governments at all levels to put together a financial stimulus to support the vital work that journalists across Nigeria are doing, especially with respect to the coverage of COVID-19 response. It goes without saying that journalists are the only other professionals standing side by side, and risking their lives together with health workers to spread hope.

This is the least government can do to show that it truly values the vital services that journalists render.

Prostitutes arrested in Owerri over lockdown.

It was dramatic as two prostitutes were disgraced today in Owerri, while trying to evade arrest.

As lockdown is been observed in Owerri the Imo State capital something funny and dramatic happened.

It was around 12noon, at ever busy Douglas road which has been deserted because of the government order of lockdown due to the corona virus menace.

Security agents were moving around to enforce the order when their attention were drawn by some youths who on their own was in front of their homes observing the lockdown, drawing closer they saw two ladies who dressed like prostitutes trying to enter a bus but the motorists refused them.

Looking back and observed the police they try to run away but the youths ran after them and apprehend them and hands them over to police. People were angry saying even when hotels and clubs are closed they are still going about sharing corona virus.

People no send at all.

DStv give free subscription as God allowed Covid-29 to draw us back to him. Keyamo

The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has asked direct broadcast satellite service providers in Nigeria to support the fight against COVID-19 by giving Nigerians an extension on their current subscription.

In a series of tweets on Monday, Mr Keyamo urged DSTV and Star Times to extend existing subscriptions by one month, to aid ease the pains of many across the nation.

The minister also urged the the major telecommunication companies in Nigeria to give out some tokens of airtime and data in a bid to ease the pains of Nigerians and to help them stay connected to their loved ones in this trying times.

Mr Keyamo had in some earlier tweets on March 26, opined that God allowed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease to afflict the human race.

He argued that God allowed COVID-19 to afflict the human race only to redirect our steps back to Him.

According to hi, “We have so distorted God’s Word to suit our own human weaknesses and satisfy our greed, even in supposed Holy Places”.

The minister urged Nigerians to collectively ask for forgiveness, stressing that it will all end in praise.

Corona Virus: People Cries as Food stuffs, other items sold at 300% price increas in Owerri Imo state

Corona Virus: People Cries as Food stuffs, other items sold at 300% price increas in Owerri Imo state

Because of the fast spread of this killer pandemic covid-19 in Nigeria, many states has closed down their markets, churches, mosques, schools and any form of social gathering which includes: burials, weddings, traditional gathering and even political meetings.Currently chief of staff to Mr. President Abba kyari is down with it, Bauchi and Kaduna States governors have tested positive, Nigeria immigration boss is down with it, plus many others who are on self isolation to check if they have this virus in them.

The federal government on her own yesterday closed down Abuja, Lagos and Ogun borders, many hospitals in Abuja and Lagos has been designated as treatment centres for the carriers.

But that’s not enough because these hospital has little non needed equipment to handle it as churches has resulted in donating Respirators to assist victims.

As part of the measures to curb the spread, many States government has closed schools and markets to reduce the clustering of people. In Imo state the governor Hope Uzodinma begged the people of the state to bear with them and pray to God to remove this plague as the State is yet to record any case.

Many states shuts down without paying their workers and without any palliative measure to assist them, as if that was not enough the price of food stuff has increased between 120% to 300%.

Example a paint of garri that was sold at #350/#400 before is not sold between ₦1500 and #1800 in Owerri capital of Imo state and Anambra too.

A bag of rice that was at ₦19000/₦22000 is sold between ₦28,000 and ₦32,000, a bad of pure water that was sold between ₦80 and ₦100 is now sold between ₦150/₦210 while a satchets goes for ₦20.

Sanitiser that was sold at ₦150/₦300 is now sold at 1200 and above. How will the masses survive this condition, the lockdown just began with its first day just going ,if this situation lingers many death will be recorded by hunger.

We call on government and good spirited individuals to help the masses by providing foods for them and government to set up a task force to check mate the pure water industries and coordinated their prices.

Also no fuel station in the state is selling fuel at ₦125, instead 90% of fuel stations in Owerri has closed down and few that are open sells at ₦145 and nobody is talking.

It’s time to sobber and pray for forgiveness of Sins yet people are commuting more sin.

Covid-19: Imolites asked to obey Government directives. Imo OMPAN

PRESS RELEASE

The Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria, OMPAN, Imo State Chapter has called on the good people of the State in particular and Nigerians at large to abide by the strict measures of the state and federal government in a bid to fight the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic.

Imo OMPAN urged the citizens to help the government in every way they can to see that the pandemic is holistically fought and defeated squarely, noting that the stay at home and closure of major markets declaration is not an act of wickedness or taking away their sources of income but a step in the right direction to contain growing cases and eradicate the virus in the country.

The Association commends Senator Hope Uzodinma led government of Imo state for the timely constitution of a nine-man committee of renowned experts headed by Former INEC Chairman, Prof Maurice Iwu and putting up plans and measures to checkmate COVID19 in the state and call for a human face in the discharge of their duties as well as provision of sanitizers, face masks, protective wears and food items.

We urge the Government to take it up as another urgent call of duty in the face of the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic to control market price of goods which has skyrocketed since the entrance of the virus in the country and in same vein pay workers salaries and pension arrears so as to help them cope with the ‘Stay At Home’ and ‘Work From Home’ order for the timebeing and not fight hunger as well.

We also call on Imo residents and Nigerians to help themselves during this period by assisting the government in the fight against COVID19 by social distancing, Staying and working from home, self isolation, alerting the nine-man committee or government on any Coronavirus case or symptoms around them through their dedicated lines, reducing the price of goods to enable everybody buy what they need and not use the time to spread hunger.

This is a time to be your brothers’ keeper; give to those who don’t have food to eat, provide some protective wears for them to put on as well as share useful information to help them stay safe.

The Association frowns at the disbelief, hate speech and fake news that the Coronavirus is non-existent even in Nigeria but a political strategy of Nigerian government to siphon public funds and that some people ought to contract it, stressing that COVID19 (Coronavirus) is real and as such has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization.

Imo OMPAN states that the news making rounds online that cases of Coronavirus has been confirmed in Imo state and that the government is doing nothing about the fight of the virus is a big lie and an act of mischief makers noting that the committee of experts set up by the government has been working hard to checkmate the pandemic and has not reported any case.

We urge media houses; online and conventional news carriers to state to be objective in their reportage and not create or spread panic in society.

We urge all and sundry to always commit Imo state, Nigeria and the world at large to God for He knows it all and has the final say in all.

God bless Imolites
God bless Imo State.
God bless Nigeria.
God bless everyone.

Stay Safe.

Open Letter To Gov. Hope Uzodinma By Sam Onwuemeodo

Dear Governor Hope Uzodinma,

Dear Appointees,

I salute you all.

Your Excellency, I would have written “My Dear governor” as Salutation, but I was taught by my English teacher that in letter writing, you have formal and informal letters. You go informal when writing to your Parents or closed ones. And you go formal when writing to those not within the circle or range of informal letter writing. You are not close to me. And you have no blood relationship with me, so I have to go formal.

Hence, Dear governor and not my dear governor. Once again, I salute you. I salute your Commissioners, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and others. Your appointees are all wonderful people and most of them tested and can be trusted. In terms of Productivity, they tested positive. But in terms of Coronavirus, they tested negative. So short a letter. It could also end up being, so long a letter.

Your Excellency, I do not know you Perse. But I know you now as my governor. I had been to your house at Omuma once. It was Hon. Jones Uzoka and Hon. Nkem Nwankwo who took me there. It was in connection with your 2006/2007 guber outing. The rest has become history.

Again, Your Excellency, I didn’t support you for the 2019 governorship election in the State, both in the Primary and in the election proper. I didn’t want you to become governor. I wanted Uche Nwosu to become governor. And I supported him. I carried him on my head. I was one of those who convinced Owelle Rochas Okorocha to adopt him, unknown to most people.

Some of us watched closely all the major or Senior appointees of Okorocha, and saw the Youngman Uche Nwosu as exceptional. Outstanding. Very humble. Very humane. Very Sincere. Unambitious unlike the rest. As Chief of Staff, you would not know unless someone had told you, this is Uche Nwosu. While others were working underground for the governorship, he remained calm and focused.

On my own, I began to market him among other appointees. At an expanded EXCO Meeting, when the flame of the 2019 guber race was lit or gaining momentum, Owelle mentioned four Senior appointees including a House of Representatives member he would like his Successor to be one of them. I said from my strategic position inside the Sam Mbakwe EXCO Chamber, Ugwuma Nwosu. The whole people in the hall began to shout Uche Nwosu.

Nwosu was the most popular among all the appointees. Owelle said Ok, if Uche Nwosu comes out for the governorship, that he would support him. The Chamber erupted in jubilation.

The moment I left the hall, I issued a Press release quoting Owelle, that he would Support Uche Nwosu if he comes out for governorship. I was silent on the other three names he mentioned. I did it deliberately. That was how all the government appointees gave Uche Nwosu to Rochas Okorocha for the governorship. We did it with good intention. He was the best. Most of the Senior appointees of Rochas Okorocha hate me for that reason till today, because they believed I carried the issue of Uche Nwosu both on my head and my shoulder. And I do not regret doing that. Some of them left to pursue their guber ambitions to the best of their abilities and those who remained, gave the Nkwerre guy skeletal support. But to God be the Glory.

Your Excellency, when the Supreme Court aborted Nwosu’s guber trip, we resolved to Support you. I authored all his releases accepting the verdict of the Apex Court in good faith and the one Congratulating you as Imo governor in which he assured to support you. That is where we are as I write. So long or so short a letter, to the Oru-East born governor and his appointees. Your Excellency, I am not your fan, but you have my sincere Support as my governor.

Your Excellency Sir, Camphope didn’t make you governor. The Camp must have done the best it could. It was your platform or flight ticket but not the aircraft. It didn’t make you governor. God who orders the affairs of men made you governor. In other words, God first, and then, Patriotic Imo Citizens made you governor. And you have appreciated whatever role the Camphope apostles must have played by selecting your appointees from them. That was a good action.

But it is also true that anything Camp Connotes Smallness. It goes with tent or clique. A small group of people. But as a governor, you cannot be having camp again or tent. Methinks too, that the word Camp does not suit or fit the Politics of a sitting governor. So, disband Camphope or change the nomenclature. It will help in Strengthening your Political horizon or lengthen your Political antenna in the State including the wards and LGAs. And because of appointments, those in Camphope in the LGAs and wards are holding tight their keys into the Camp.

So, if you Continue to operate with this Camphope as it is now you won’t have the kind of structures expected of you at the grassroots as governor. And if you ask those inmates of the Camphope in the LGAs and Wards to open their gates for others to enter, they won’t do that because to them, the smaller the number, the better for them. So, disband it or find a more broad stuff to allow fresh Political air. Camphope Sounds or appears too Personal. Find a more elaborate name or coinage. Like Achike Udenwa had Redemption, Ikedi Ohakim had New Face, Rochas Okorocha had Rescue Mission and Chief Emeka Ihedioha had Rebuild Imo.

On APC, Your Excellency, your approach matters a great deal. As the governor of the State, whoever should be the Chairman of the Party must be your Slot. Simplicita. But you know how fragmented the APC was, prior to your governorship and following the Primaries or Politics of the Party for the 2019 Poll. The way you approach the whole thing now will matter a lot. Yes, you are the governor and the leader of the Party in the State. Nobody can deny you the structure of the party in the State as a sitting governor. But in going for the structure, you also know that there are those who made APC what it is in the State before your coming or who had done enough sacrifice for the APC to be in the State. You also have to accommodate or carry along such people in a manner they would say or see that you mean well.

I told Chief Ihedioha that in Igbo Context, a woman selling red oil or palm oil in the market does not pray or cause stampede or crisis in the same market. Onwa Oyoko, you are selling palm oil as we write and you do not cause stampede in the market. Go for goal. Wisdom is key. Don’t play to diminish anybody including Owelle Okorocha or Ifeanyi Araraume. Play to keep them relevant since Politics of today might be different from the Politics of tomorrow. Keep them on your side. It pays more to do that. And I wish you would read my lips well. All of you have a common enemy. And that is INEC in the State which is a branch of PDP.

Your Excellency, the voices you hear from both within and outside the State will either help you or not help you. Some of these voices would tell you to ignore everybody or fight everybody. You use your God-given wisdom to know which road is safer. The reason being that there is no disappointment Rochas Okorocha or Ikedi Ohakim or Achike Udenwa met or experienced in government, you would not meet or experience. In few months time, some of the appointees would begin to tell the world that they are not seeing anything. You know what “not seeing anything” connotes or implies. In eight months, Ihedioha’s appointees had begun to say that.

Your Excellency, the issue of empowerment would also come up in your government among the appointees. One of the angers of most appointees of Owelle Okorocha was that he excessively and perhaps, unconsciously over-empowered few, at the expense of others. And some of those few, were those who left the government with bloated ambitions and began to attack him. Some others advanced and today, they have also begun to surge towards you, as the new Sheriff in town. Empowerment does not guarantee loyalty. What guarantees loyalty is the conviction or character of the individual appointees. So, in empowering the appointees, do not over enrich others at the detriment of others. It cannot be even. But make it reasonably even.

Also bear in mind that Imo people have never and will never be in the habit of Celebrating any sitting governor. Do not be carried away by the Congratulatory Messages of today. They will criticize you. They will attack you. But do all you can for posterity and for history to be on your side and for the God you serve.

Today, the Panels set up by Chief Ihedioha have been hard on Okorocha. But one thing should be consoling on the part of the former governor. And that is the fact that, his projects have continued to be mentioned and certain folks quarreling with the prices. It should have also been nice if you expand the scope of the Panels to include 1999 to 2007, 2007 to 2011. And from May 2019 to January 2020, so that, Imo people and the public in general would also know what the PDP governments in the State within these periods did with their own allocations and other finances, for the total of twelve years and eight months the party governed the State. Let us see their own projects and perhaps also quarrel with their own prices.

Most of the Panel members are PDP. The Secretary of the Panel on Contracts, Dame Comfort Obi is a known PDP apologist. She was the Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub-Committee for Chief Ihedioha’s inauguration as governor in 2019. But it does not matter. Let the scope of the Panels be expanded to capture the periods I have thrown up at least to subdue certain insinuations and innuendos.

Your Excellency, you are known in the State as a man with good heart. I agree with that. With God on your side, you will do well as governor. You are not wicked both by nature and by belief unlike those in the most recent government before you. And I have not seen any wicked man or woman among your appointees; Your deputy looks like an Irish Priest. So, no cause for alarm. It is better than a situation where the governor, deputy governor, Secretary to Government, Attorney-General would have held the franchise of vendetta, vindictiveness and wickedness. Abraham’s faith was counted for him as righteousness. Your goodness or generosity could also be counted for you as righteousness. Your Excellency, let me tell Your appointees something before concluding this memo to you.

Every ministry is viable or promising or lucrative. It all depends on vision and mindset. God can make a dry land to be fertile. They should shun the bravado the PDP appointees were known for. Moderate life style is the panacea. Do not go for police orderly when you could not afford that even as an individual. Drive yourself if you cannot afford to pay a driver especially if you are not a commissioner or adviser.

As the Chief Press Secretary to Owelle Okorocha, my biggest drink was Amstel Malt. And luckily for me, where my private office is located, there are a lot of food vendors. So I was and still eating “mama put”. In my house, I enjoy any Soup cooked with bongo fish. When we travelled, I would look for five or Seven thousand naira hotel. I am a village man. I do not know what they call designer shoe or designer clothe.

The only time I slept in a big hotel was in 2010 when the governor then, Chief Ohakim invited me to Abuja and I was at Protea hotel. Appointees not living beyond their means is where the true honour lies. I had three aides, two in my official office and one in my private office and I paid them what my salary could carry. I am talking in tongues here. Commissioners would Statutorily have drivers the government would pay. But other appointees may make do with what they have.

The appointees should be the unifying forces in their wards and LGAs for APC. And they should shun undue ego in the overall interest of the State and the government. They should not be afraid of accommodating anybody having sympathy for governor Uzodinma or APC. They should not begin to build their own Political empires or enclaves like some of those under Owelle Okorocha. God will see all of them through.

Your Excellency, like I had predicted, you will do well. It will be well with you. It will be well with your appointees. It will be well with Imo people, both big and small. The Coronavirus plague won’t near our dwelling places. And I know everybody would say, Amen.

Alleged accusations of sex abuse to female inmates by prison officers.

FG should investigate this report.

Former inmate, Gloria Adams has disclosed that 90 per cent of female prisoners in the country were either pregnant or nursing mothers.

She said sexual abuse is ‘part and parcel’ of prison life, with staff harassing female inmates in exchange for drugs, cigarettes and even early release, according to former prisoners

She appealed to the Federal Government through her Twitter account to formulate policies to protect female prisoners. She also urged the National Human Rights Commission to intervene to stop all forms of discrimination against female prisoners who are awaiting trial.

According to her, assisting women with the relevant skills could help in building a better society. She said: “It is only when women are considered as the center of development that the economy could be better developed.

“We urge government to integrate gender into its developmental agenda by including them in public policy and governance. Women and girls are facing so many unpleasant challenges in the country. Everyday, the newspapers report incidents of violence against them even in the internally displaced persons camps.”

She urged them to embrace the nationwide slogan of “change begins with me,” to support one another

Corona_Virus: dangers of Hike in commodities, clustering at banks and social Distance

Corona Virus has posed a serious tension to.the world and every nation is putting their heads together to get a remedy for this monster both government and the people.

But in Africa and Nigeria Government is trying their little bits but the people are the greatest sabotage of government efforts, every Nigerian is an opputunist, always using a critical situation to enrich himself/herself.

But we should know that this Covid-19 is not smiling at all and even the world powers has shut down because of it,and this is a danger signal to underdeveloped countries and world at large but the question on my lips now to Nigerians is how prepared are we to fight this disease?

everything has skyrocketed in the markets, foods stuffs, beverages, phones, drugs etc and why should it be so when other countries are bringing down prices of commodities but we are increasing by ourselves not GOVERNMENT this time.

What about the social distance of a thing , people don’t care about it and even many don’t even know what is happening not to talk of what to do. I visited a bank yesterday and I wept.

At the banks people are forced to hugs and exchange sweat in the name of keeping and maintaining five man at a time, while other hundreds of people are suffocating themselves in a small space waiting for their turn to be checked before going in?

What of the transport sectors hope we have told the owners of the buses to have patience with the drivers until this issues is resolved because they must make account if they must remain in business. Can government bring out good luxurious buses to carry people free or less amount to maint social distance?

What about the landlords and rent? Hope they will give their tenants time to pay?

What about the fuel stations? All fuel stations along Ana road In Owerri has closed down including the ones owned by traditional rulers and government officials yet we blame government in everything. Because government reduced pump prince to #125 all of them automatically shut down waiting for a new directive on additional money so they can start to sell. But if it were to be increment they will reduce their metres and still sell on the new pump price, government please look into that and withdraw licence of every dealer who shut down or refused to sell fuel at the new pump price or those who reduced their metres and prosecute them. They are the worst Corona Virus (Covid-66).

What about those Selling SANITISER ? they have increased the price by 45% and even those selling detergents and nose mask. Government should make these things available to the public free of charge and regulate the market for this period of time that is one of the benefits of having functional government in such situation.

So as you plan to shut down your state what’s your plan for your people Mr. Governor.

There is a lot to do both the government and the people.

The Havoc and Lessons on Corona Virus Pandemic.

Early this year there was a rumour of an emerged from Wuhan China and that is killing people so fast. Initially people thought it was these political and new year propaganda to scare people away from early business trip, others thought it was from mischief makers and haters of Asia especially with the rancour between USA and Iran.

But as days goes by the number of affected people multiplied by geometric progression and death toll rose drastically and the disease began to get world attention.

As America began to reduce the no flight leaving their country to China and returning. British airways was the first airline to shut her trips to and fro China.

Before the world could realise and understand the hand writing on the wall America had her first victim and few days later it spreads to Europe and later Africa.

Now many almost every country have shut their international airports and borders and a total shut of commercial, civila and business activities including social activities.

Nigeria is not an exception in this as Lagos State last week shut down activities of churches, schools, restaurants, beer parlours etc to curb the spread and many others are in isolation (quarantine) to enable health personnel to look after them.

As of yesterday many other states has followed suit. But my challenge in this is what measures has this government taken to care for the masses. In Uganda landlords were asked not to take rent from their tenants for the next three months, in America and other Europe the masses were given cash to buy foods and drugs they will use for the period they are to stay indoors.

But in Nigeria here many states are owing workers months of salaries and allowances yet they are asked to go home and not to come out for weeks, where will they get the money to buy foods that will systain them till when the curfew is lifted?

Moreover markets are closed so where will they buy what to eat? Another question is majority of Nigerians depend on their daily sales and outings to make earns meat (buy food to eat) that is to say if they don’t go out no food for the day, how will they survive?

If this pandemic comes heavy on us here in Nigeria where are the hospitals and equipments to take care of victims?

Have you seen where corruption kept us? Our leaders depended on traveling out of the country for medical treatment, now the oversea hospitals don’t want to see them because they are still battling with the pressure of her citizens at hand, there is not even a border to go incase.

How prepared are we to fight this disease?

What the banks where people are forced to hugs and exchange sweat in the name of keeping and maintaining five man at a time, while other hundreds of people are suffocating themselves in a small space waiting for their turn to be checked before going in?

What of the transport sectors hope we have told the owners of the buses to have patience with the drivers until this issues is resolved because they must make account if they must remain in business. Can government bring out good luxurious buses to carry people free or less amount to maint social distance?

What about the landlords and rent? Hope they will give their tenants time to pay?

Ochendo, Ikuku And The Evil Machinations Of Advanced Power Politicians

Jesus says cast not your pearls on Swines… Mattew 7:6

Swines can be found everywhere in politics, business, religions and all forms of social relationships. When they relate with you, they connect their pockets to your brain, they see you as a siphon for all the wrong reasons, they ask until you denounce them and their subtle blackmail starts. These are men who are already in 2023 and must do everything to stave off, stop and malign any person who they reasonably believe could stand in the way of their evil machinations.First, they deliberately summed up figures, some unreasonably outrageous #556b petition to EFCC, some can never be true no matter how events turn out and the rest figments of their imagination and pushed to the public that which can never be substantiated. Those who reason in the same manner with them gave such blatant lies a chance, those who know truly how governance works, ignored them. Come and adduce evidence at least to establish PRIMA FACIE. case against the former governor and his family, they disappeared…political swines.Just before the dust of the cooked figures could settle, they hired fellow nitwits and disgruntled elements to stage a phoney protest. When they were unable to convince people to join in their madness, they quickly hatched another plan.
#Arrest of Father and Son… which they later apologized.

Again, from God knows where, they conjured a poorly written ‘script’ being a document this week, purportedly discovered by EFCC during a search of the former Governor’s house. They did not lie to themselves , they made all of us look stupid, unintelligent and comprehensively foolish.

They did not crosscheck their facts. They told us that an Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D ,a thoroughbred Ngwa man with amazing wisdom who has never been to India before, was in India just to execute that rubbish they conjured. Apart from not having sense, I did not know that those who are so desperate to pull Ochendo and his family down are bunch of riff raffs, swines and poorly trained blackmailers.

There must move is to print and distribute in large numbers, poster of *OCHENDO FOR PRESIDENT 2023* Their intention is to drag out a man who had severally said he shall have had his last shot at active politics May 2023. They want to make him look like an insatiable and inconsiderate politician.

Again, I ask, to what purpose? Just why would you burn that link before you think you have crossed the bridge? Is your spirit not telling you something? This is what you had done six years with no progress.

At the height of your greed induced opprobrium against them, he was returned to the Senate and his son elected Speaker. You did all you can to incite Ikpeazu against the Ochendo family. Okezie in his infinite wisdom (by the way, an average Ngwa man has sense in abundance) disappointed all of you.

These swines won’t stopYou are practising Advanced Power Politics, looking at 2023 and all you can see is Ochendo and his family. You see how religiously foolish you are? You think by gathering a preponderance of lies you would be any better than them? No! You cannot. As soon as your latest patron unplugs your pocket from his brain, you would shift ground.
May God save you from sin and death, oh ye swine.

IGBOS, INVERSION OF FOREIGN CULTURE , CRIMINALITY AND EMBRACE OF MEDIOCRITY.

The first time the white man stepped into the Igbo heartland, long before our people were forcefully conjoined in what has today come to be known as Nigeria, they met a society that had law and order .

They met a people whose culture, omenala , law and honest Republican system of governance created a nation that had no need for prisons, accommodation and celebrations of rogues/roguery and who understood clearly the meaning of honour, dignity and aru (abomination).

According to Engineer Ezeogu….
“By their own written account,…classified and hidden in their Archives….. the colonial masters confirmed they met no destitutes, beggers, thieves, deviants, crime/criminals, prostitutes, prisons etc in igboland when they first arrived primarily because everyone was accommodated in marriage”.

The Igbo society then , despite some of our cultural shortcomings had a robust justice system that provided equity, fairness and excellence in the handling of affairs of the communities.

I grew up under a grand father and grand mother, who lived up to 103 and 105 years. Grand father who died in the 80s at the ripe age of 103 and a grand mother, who died in 2001 at the age of 105. I lived under a late father, a great custodian of omenala , who died at the age of 72 in 2015. So, I do not write out of ignorance. I sat under their tutelage and learnt first hand honest accounts of what decency, honesty, excellence, justice, equity and fairness was like in Ala Igbo before some of us decided to import the evil cultures of other societies into Ala Igbo .

When I read the silly argument of people, who ignorantly and blanketingly paint every Igbo business man with the tar brush of roguery and classify them all as greedy money mongers and gamers of the system, I feel like puking.

If your father , mother , grand mothers , grand fathers, kits and kins are part of these people, who have imbibed this evil cut throat cultures of always killing, cheating and dabbling into all manner of criminality just to game the system please call them out and clean up your acts . Dont imagine that everyone and family are like you and your kits/kins .

For me and my own, we are chips of the old blocks, who still appreciate and understand who and what a true blooded Igboman should always be . Our Omenala and ways of lives abhor ochu, aru and embrace of criminality and murder .

May God help us to regain our identity and live as the true noble race God created us to be . Shinning the great light of Chukwu Okike Abiama for others to see and follow

WHY THEY DELIBERATELY REFUSED TO PRIVATISE THE REFINERIES. Nnaemeka Obiaraeri

WHY THEY DELIBERATELY REFUSED TO PRIVATISE THE REFINERIES, FULLY DEREGULATE THE DOWNSTREAM OIL AND GAS SECTOR AND REMOVE THE CONSUMPTION SUBSIDIES.

The Central Bank of Nigeria based on report from Bloomberg, has unofficially devalued the naira to N380/$1 and merged the multiple exchange rate markets into one. A policy move we pleaded with them to pursue since June 2015.

For a country , whose foreign reserve is almost overstretched to its limits, as a result of its over dependence on crude oil exports revenue; (a commodity, whose average market price has plummeted atrociously way below her budget benchmark). One would have expected the leadership of Nigeria to shed off their cloak of irrationality and obstinate stand, and take the urgently needed right policy steps for once.

But unfortunately, they did not and may not take those steps .

What would have been the right expectations from a rational government now ?

What should be the rational policy steps to take now ?

One of the biggest consumers or sources of the depletion of our forex earnings /reserves are the imports of white petroleum products and food items into Nigeria .

Nigeria wastes annually over $10bn to $13bn in the importation and subsidization of the white petroleum products.

We waste these funds because over the last 4 years, we have been unable to fix the 3 obsolete refineries or privatize them to deep pocketed or capable investors to scrap and replace.

Our maximum rulers have refused to do the right things. They refused to embrace rationality, not even after squandering over $389million in failed Turn Around Maintenance, TAM program on the refineries and misappropriation of additional N398billion as losses incurred to keep/retain this unproductive assets under the control of the NNPC over the last 4 years.

Nigeria annually squanders over $11bn in the imports of food and agro commodities. Food and agro commodities we can easily produce here.

We have not been able to truly diversify the economy to enable us cultivate , produce and process the foods we consume here domestically, because of our penchant to pursue lies , ineptitude, propaganda, audio production and legalized fraud in execution of agro intervention schemes.

WHY HAVE ARE HOLDING TIGHTLY TO THE OBSOLETE REFINERIES ?

WHY HAVE THEY DELIBERATELY AND OBSTINATELY REFUSED TO FULLY DEREGULATE THE DOWNSTREAM OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY ?

WHY HAVE THEY CONTINUED TO RETAIN THE CRIMINAL CONSUMPTION SUBSIDIES REGIME ?

These guys in Aso Rock and the NNPC have refused to deregulate the market and allow transparency.

They know that if they fully deregulate the market just like we have it in the other sectors like telecommunication , banking etc that their fronts and conduits for misappropriation of our commonwealth cannot thrive again. They also realise that their conduits will not survive in a free and transparent oil and gas market .

They know that if they had privatized the obsolete refineries in 2015/ 2016, deregulated the market and removed the subsidies, that before Aliko Dangote would have completed his refineries in Ibeju lekki (Which they are using to massively deplete our foreign reserve at very subsidized rates ) that 20 other modular refineries would have sprung up in the coastal waters of the south south and south west to cover up our domestic demand capacity.

Their reasoning is simple; if the market is fully liberalized and made transparent with the subsidies fully taken away and then multiple modular refineries spring up in Nigeria, to which domestic market will Aliko Dangote refinery control ? They want to create a virtual monopoly , who they will also hand over the 445,000 barrels per day crude that are reserved for the existing obsolete refineries.

They know what they are doing. However, it is their ignorant hailers, who are being deceived

They want to continue to retain the subsidies, so as to hold everyone down and allow advantages to the smugglers and other underhand players. Who are the smugglers of petroleum products across the borders ?

Why is Nigeria the only country in west africa that is still subsidising the white petroleum products?

But what they forgot is that as they continue to hold down this country to enrich a few of the privileged class , mass poverty continues to multiply in their backyard amongst the masses.

They also forgot that if they sell off the refineries now , remove the consumption subsidies, fully deregulate the oil market and sell down the holding of the FGN through the NNPC in the JVs with the IOCs and other upstream operators, that our foreign reserve will experience less pressure because of the fresh inflows that it will receive.

The transparent opening of this key sector will send the right signals to honest foreign direct investors , who will bring in New investments into the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of our oil and gas industry.

My prayer and fast objective this season is for the crude oil price to remain at below $30 per barrel till December 2021. This is the only way, the hands of this cabal will be forced to do the right things they had deliberately refused to do since May 29, 2015.

God help us

The Victim But The Oppressor Leadership Strategy.

( The Many Sins Of Charles Ogbonnaya Osueke Against …)

PART 8

THE HORRIBLE GENERALS.
THE REV PASTOR EJIKEME EJIM FACTOR!

Rom. 12:1-3
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

INTRODUCTION.
We all want to be in God’s service. It is not wrong to desire to serve God but it is wrong to serve God any how or as you like. The above scripture tells us that our service to God must be reasonable not unreasonable. It is reasonable, when it is done according to the prefect will of God.

Consequently, for our service to be reasonable,it must be done sacrificially with a holy body and with a renewed mind. Jesus Christ death on the cross was a sacrifice, and it was the perfect will of God. No man can ever do or discover the perfect will of God without passing through the cross. The cross is the only way to sacrificial living and sacrificial living is the only way to the perfect will of God. Sacrifice is evidence by marks on your body. Apostle Paul says that he bored on his body the marks of Christ. There are always wounds, bruises, pains, disappointments, threats, dangers, discouragement and sometimes actual harm that accompany the perfect will of God. All the Apostles did the perfect will of God through persecution, prisonment and martyrdom. It is not different now and can never be.

The perfect will of God comes only through a life of sacrifice! That’s why the song writer wrote, “I will cling to the old rugged cross and exchange it some day for a crown”. The path of the cross is the path of the perfect will of God.

Ministry means service and must be reasonable to God even if it fails to be reasonable to man. In all, it must not be done with a worldly mindset. Ministry is not politics but God’s business! It is done with the mind of Christ and phil.2:5-8 revealed to us the mind of Christ. It is a mind of humility, meekness and long-suffering. You can only have this mindset through the cross. It is only with this mindset that our ministry is both reasonable and acceptable unto God. When you do ministry to please only God, you’re horrible to men but honorable to God. You can now understand what I mean by horrible Generals. They are men who are horrible in the sight of carnal men but honourable in the sight of God.

REV PASTOR EJIKEME EJIM.
He is presently the Assistant General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Nigeria. Some years ago, during the administration of Rev Dr Charles Osueke, he was appointed as the chairman of the committee that investigated the crisis that rocked Abuja District. The investigation was very meticulous, while they didn’t not indict the ex-GS, they raised an eyebrow over certain actions and movement of the ex-GS, then the AGS around Abuja District that might have instigated or escalated the crisis.

I guess, Ejim led committee made sure that they didn’t left behind any little piece here and there. Probably, they decided to leave further details in the hands of the EC in case they smell a rotten rat. There were issues but again, the Osueke administration I suspect, preferred to look the other way when anything concerned the ex-Gs. Everything about him then had became very sensitive and he loved it so. He always looked for opportunities to drew attention to himself as a victim and curried for sympathies. Each time, it was the gullibles that fell into his hands of manipulation.

He was like proverbial blood sucking fly, that pitched on the scrotum sac, to ignore it is deadly and to kill it would be devastating. As far as Rev Ejim was concerned, he carried out his delegated assignment but to the ex-GS, it was a witch hunt and from then, Ejim was seen as an enemy. However, even though the Osueke administration chose to ignore those likely links to the crisis in Abuja, the ex-GS did not found it funny and again, he felt, Ejim intentionally damaged his reputation as the AGS.

Fortunately and unfortunately, Rev Ejim was elected into the EC. While himself became the GS. The election of Rev Ejim spoilt his joy. While everyone celebrated that he won as the GS, he mourned that Rev Ejim was elected into the EC. What an abuse of grace? It was our daily discussion and a reason for continual sorrows. Daddy Ejim was seen as one of the direct sons of Rev Dr Charles Osueke. The ex-GS feared he would serve as both the ear and the mouth of Papa Osueke. Of course, even though he had the same sentiment about Dr. Chidi Okoroafor but to some extent, he felt he was safer with the present GS, Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor because at least, both of them pretended to be friends.

Surprisingly, Rev Ejim is an in-law to him. At least, that was a medium through which he could have won Ejim over to his side. As a matter of fact, the ex-GS does not care about relationships with anyone except he is using the person to do his abides. Once there is a crack or suspicion of any kind, he is done with a relationship. From that moment on, every steps he takes will be how to trap you, harm you or edge you out. He doesn’t repair or amend nor build relationships.

Eventually, when he realized that there was nothing he could do about the presence of Rev Pastor Ejikeme Ejim in the EC, he decided to trap him. He quickly appointed him as the chairman of the multi-billion Naria Assemblies of God retirement fund in AG Homes and Mortages Bank.

Meanwhile, Rev Ejim was totally ignorant of his ill feelings towards him. Obviously, he continued to discharge his duties as an elected member of the EC and to express himself accordingly to his convictions. Each time he did that, he was seen as a spokeman of Daddy Osueke even though he was not defending anything that concerned Osueke.

So each time they clashed, the ex-GS didn’t see it as a clash with Brother Ejim,he saw them as a clash with Brother Osueke. All that went wrong in the EC was Daddy Osueke especially if the opposition came from Rev Ejim. There was literally no word from Ejim that didn’t irritate him. Osueke’s sins here increased because there were people who believed the scripture and Christian living like he did. Rev Ejim is an Evangelical Pentecostal preacher with deep attachment to sound doctrines just like Daddy Osueke.

It still baffles me why a man in a position of influence would be intimidated by another man who used the same office he is in it to recreate himself positively in so many others and reproduced Christ in them? Friends, this is the reason why God gives us a position of influence. It is an opportunity to reproduce Christ in the lives of others.

The ex-GS bitterness against Rev Ejim came as a surprise to most people. Any person who has ever had any business with the AGS, Rev Ejim will admit that he was a man endowed with wisdom and excellent spirit. I remembered that the first time I met with Ejim, he was a student at Nigeria Advance School of Theology. My father was one of the lecturers there then in the late eighties (1986-87 there about). One day he visited our house with two other of his friends. I was with my father as he saw them off to the road, it was evening and we took the opportunity to stroll out. As we turned back and headed to our house, my father, who was very prophetic said to me, ” do you see the man in the middle, his name is Ejikeme Ejim. He is one of the most brilliant students in my courses and he is very wise. One day, he will become neither the GS or one of the four Generals of Assemblies of God Nigeria”.

I turned and looked at him again and from that day, I followed and monitored all his activities in the ministry. The prophecy about Rev Ejim looked almost impossible. For a long time, he was a district secretary and at a point, I heard that he resigned. Later, he came back again and from nowhere he became a District Superintendent almost very recently. Looking at his age and the chances around him, there was no way that prophecy could have been possible humanly speaking. Though, I have never met Rev Ejim closely except casually during Peniel, where we may have greeted and when we traveled together on a pilgrimage to Israel but I have never sat down to discuss with him. However, I can say for sure that such thoughts may never have crossed his mind of one day becoming one of the four Generals.

Everything my Dad ever told me about the future have all come to past including AG crisis. One day, he told me how close he was with Rev Dr Nwakanma after the Nigerian civil war. That was the case until he had problem with the General Council, then, he warned me, that as long as I am in AG, I must never join anyone against the General Council. He spoke so clearly as if he saw what would happen in 2014. That was why I did my best and all I could to prove that the ex-GS group was the General Council until Rev Ejim was elected as the AGS. From that day, I knew that tst group can’t be the Gen. Council. My father was a prophet of Christ and all his prophecies to the best of my knowledge came to pass.

Subsequently, the ex-GS got fed up with Rev Ejim and decided to relieve him of his chairmanship. Rev Ejim main problem was that he refused to compromise and he insisted on right processes, accountability and transparency.

Ejim looked to me like a man who loved details and perfection. I remembered when I came to be interviewed for the office of the National Youth Director by the EC. I answered correctly all the questions thrown on me by the EC then, Rev Ejim asked me why I wore two rings? One on the left hand and the other on the right hand. I didn’t see the question as necessary, so I was upset. I pointed at the GS and said, “my GS is wearing two rings, that’s why I wore two too”.

He asked me if that was my reason and I affirmed to it. Immediately, he sharply rebuked me. He told me that the office of the youth ministries is not for an arrogant man. His anger I believe was that I aspired to lead others but my action lack personal conviction. I thought that if I said that the GS wore the same, that it would intimidated him but not Rev Ejim. If I had replied, I love it that way, I guess he might not have had any problems. He believes that a leader should know personally why he does anything and be in a position to defend his/her actions without pointing to anybody.

I remembered that when I was invited by ex-GS appointed tst EC to explain my Post on Facebook, Rev Ngene reminded me how he heard that the whole EC rejected me but that ex-GS insisted and made me a national Director. He tried to implore sentiment to manipulate me to continue following them in their rebellion.

Anyway, I don’t know who told Ngene such lies to him. I guess Rev Ngene heard what he always wanted to hear. The above narration was exactly what happened. In fact, immediately I went out of the boardroom, the ex-GS sent me a text message with the following words, “I am proud of you, that was a wonderful presentation”. He actually congratulated for the way I composed myself.

When later that day, Rev Ejim heard I was the son of late Rev Obitulata, he was glad but insisted that I should follow the path of humility. Of course, Rev Ejim was right about me then, he discerned the arrogancy in me and it took only a spiritual man to speak them out.

Today, I am glad he did. His insistence showed that it was not about who I am but about what was right. In fact, after that day each place we met he would ask after my ministry and my mother. In some occasions, he gave me money to give my mother. I remembered when we traveled to Israel, it happened to fell within my wife’s birthday, so I announced it to everyone. He was there with his wife and they both congratulated my wife. They both promised to give her a birthday gift.

To my uttermost surprise, two months later, we met in one of our national programs (I can’t remember exactly which one)he met me and handed an envelope to me for my wife. It was #20,000 birthday gift. He just kept to his promise which I had long forgotten. That’s the level of integrity and perfection that Rev Ejim is known for everywhere.

Anyway, ex-GS successfully removed Rev Ejim, like I said earlier, the EC was not ready to confront him. He knew that and he took their loyalty for granted. Not only did he remove Rev Ejim from the being a chairman, he set up a machinery on how to remove him from the EC by the next election. As far as Rev Ejim was concerned, to the ex-GS, he was a horrible General.

Incidentally, the same Ejim happened to be one of the most loyal District Superintendents in the whole of the General Council. His district always took the lead in every programs of the General Council. During the ex-GS mega service which he held in all the districts of the General Council, the Lagos mainland led by Rev Pastor Ejikeme Ejim hired the stadium and filled it up with people. He gave the ex-GS and his entourage a royal treatment.

The best the ex-GS had ever received from any other district. Rev Ejim ensured that anything that had to do with the General Council throughout the tenure of the ex-GS was handled as a top most priority. However, the ex-GS was not after loyalty but enslavement. Rev Ejim’s offense was that he refused to be enslaved. I believe the ex-GS would have succeeded if he had gave Rev Ejim a chance. The painful thing about the ex-GS was that he didn’t trust those he called his friends and didn’t listen to any voices of reason. Rev Ejim offense was that he was
dedicated to his call and sincere to God.

REV DR UMAI UKPAI.
So many things were written about the role of Rev Dr Umai Ukpai in AG crisis. He is one of the foremost independent ministers of Assemblies of God in Nigeria, with his total loyalty to all the AG different leadership administration for many years now. After many years of dedication and loyalty to the AG, he has come to be loved, admired and respected by all and sundry in AGN.

I call him a general in AG because he has all it takes to help any leadership of Assemblies of God Nigeria to be strong and successful. Unfortunately, after about one year of the administration of the ex-GS, Dr Umai Ukpai did everything within his power to assist and contribute to the progress of the church but he was constantly snubbed by the ex-GS. At one point, he received an invitation for an interview in Evangel TV, Dr Umai Ukpai quickly cancelled all his appointments, he was told the ex-GS sent the invitation; so he came in honour of the ex-GS. He sent a message across to the ex-GS that he would be in Enugu the next day.

The ex-GS did not respond rather the next day he left Enugu that day and didn’t care to leave a message behind. Immediately Dr Umai Ukpai came, he asked after the ex-GS. He was told he left Enugu that morning. He called him and informed him that he came in honour of his invitation. The ex-GS gave some flimsy excuses which obviously didn’t matter to Dr Umai Ukpai. He went on and honoured the TV interview. At the end, he praised the ex-GS and blessed the Evangel TV facilities.

Furthermore, after about two years of the ex-GS administration, he invited the ex-GS to Uyo, pleaded with him to forgive him whatever wrong he might have done to him which have resulted his constant snub and being sidelined. The ex-GS told me that Dr Umai Ukpai sincerely apologised to him for whatever wrong he was assumed to have done imaginary and unimaginable. One side of Dr Umai that so many people do not know is that among every other things, he fears God and he wants to make heaven. He is the first to seek for peace with anyone once he sense any obstruction in your relationship with him. What he did with the ex-GS was what he did with four other person’s that he felt were not relating well with him. This was the second time I heard he went out of his way, just to ask for forgiveness to someone much younger nor popular like him. After his appeal and apology, he gave the ex-GS the sum of $1,000 as a peace offering.

Of course, one may assume that the hostility would cease but not at all. The ex-GS continued to keep his distance until his fracas with the Ambassadors and Osueke. He hated Dr Umai Ukpai because as usual, he is very close to Dr Osueke. The only way one would be accepted to be the ex-GS friend was to constantly revell Papa Osueke. You must belittle him and call him names before you receive any consideration.

However, rumours had it that some Ambassadors ran to complain to Dr Umai and to sought for his support. In the rumour, it was said that he declined to give any support and insisted that he would wait until he hears from his GS as he usually called him(my GS).

Immediately the rumour was verified to be true, the ex-GS didn’t want Dr Umai Ukpai to openly support the Ambassadors and the EC. Even on that, he didn’t want to relate with Dr Umai Ukpai to resolve the impasse, so he decided to manipulate Dr Umai Ukpai to be on his side. Quickly, he sent him an invitation to be one of the speakers in Peniel convention. At this point, there were tension everywhere, the EC and the ex-GS no longer see eye to eye in virtually everything. Umai Ukpai was the perfect man that can be used to both gather crowd and also to intimidate the EC. Dr Umai Ukpai accepted the invitation with hope it would be an opportunity to hear the ex-GS side of the story. Meanwhile, there were so many calls from all nook and cranny, that came just to discourage Umai Ukpai not to honour the invitation. Dr Umai Ukpai insisted that he can’t ignore an invitation from his GS.

As a result, he honoured the invitation as he promised amidst opposition from every quarter of the church. As soon as he came, he tried to hear from the ex-GS what was wrong but the ex-GS did not want anything to do with Umai. Instead he told Dr Umai Ukpai that he should not worry about the crisis, that everything was under control. He told him not even to mention anything that concerned the crisis and then promised to fully furnish him with everything about the crisis later.

Presumably, the Peniel convention went well on the surface but internally there were tension everywhere. Dr Umai Ukpai preached for 30mins and started to weep profusely. Then he said, “I weep for this Church…” The whole place was sensitised by the Holy Spirit and everyone began to weep. There were so much I believed the Spirit of the Lord placed in the heart of Dr Umai but he held himself from saying them because the ex-GS warned that he should say either good nor bad as it concerned the crisis.

The truth was that Dr Umah didn’t need to say anything before something was said. His brief message, his weeping and his silence spoke volume. At this point, the ex-GS should have opened up to such man for counsel and instructions but he refused. With tears, Dr Umah Ukpai entered his car and drove off. As soon as he left, we mocked, we attacked Emeka Eze too. This is because Emeka Eze regards Dr Umah Ukpai as his spiritual father. We were angry that Dr Umah came and wept, thereby created the impression that something was wrong. Also, he didn’t praise the ex-GS in any form directly nor indirectly. We were in enraged! The reason he invited Dr Umah Ukpai was to disarm the Ambassadors from using him against his administration. He wanted Umah Ukpai to be neutral and to stay away. Just like he wanted Osueke and everyone else to stay away, so that he alone will determine the destiny of Assemblies of God Nigeria.

After all that happened at Peniel, no other efforts were made to contact Umai Ukpai even though he promised him a full information about what was happening. Instead, he sent another invitation to Dr Umah to hold a crusade in his town that December. Again, Dr Umah said that he had to shift all other programs in his dairy in order to accommodate his GS request. He said,( we heard this from Umah after March 6th when the ex-GS went with some of us to plead for his intervention) that the reason he accepted that invitation at such a short notice was because he felt that would give him the privilege to discuss with ex-GS and then, to give him his own piece of advice. Shockingly, Dr. Umah Ukpai honoured the invitation but the ex-GS did not care to welcome him neither did he attend the crusade even for a night nor did he send a message across.

Friends please, put yourselves in the position of Dr. Umah Ukpai. I guess, it was after this humiliation that Dr. Umah Ukpai decided to give attention to the several pressures around him. It was no surprise that he honoured the invitation to attend the Genco. The ex-GS wanted him to be neutral, so he decided to be neutral. Neutrality means that one would accept both sides. All the while, he had honoured all the invitations from the ex-GS and now, it was the turn of the EC and rightly, he honoured them. We knew that the that invitation was extended to Dr. Umah Ukpai and our informant asked us to plead with Dr. Umah not to honour the invitation but the ex-GS felt too big to do so. I believe his conscience pricked him for the way he had maltreated Dr. Umah.

The Genco of March 6th came to us as a tornado. We least expected the impact the declaration of suspension on him first and myself secondly would produce until hundreds of people floored his official resident and were rolling on the ground weeping. It was then he realized that the world now sees him as suspended.

The ex-GS quickly requested for the intervention of PFN and CAN. Pastor Ayo asked him about the stand of Dr. Umah Ukpai and he told Pastor Ayo that Dr. Umah was part of the plot. He insinuated that Dr. Umah is a relation of Chidi Okoroafor, the benefactor. Here comes logic, he knew that Dr. Umah Ukpai is a relation of Chidi Okoroafor yet he invited him for Peniel convention and a crusade in his home town? So, the town’s man of Dr Chidi Okoroafor was good to gather crowd for you at Okpoto and in your town but evil when it was time to resolve the situation in the Church?

It didn’t make sense!

Anyway, Pastor Ayo asked him if he had taken time to discuss with Dr Umah about the crisis and he said no. Pastor Ayo shouted, “that was the first thing you should have done!”. It was Pastor Ayo that reminded him how influencial Dr. Umah is within and outside AG. He then instructed him to suspend everything and call Dr. Umah to fix an appointment. He charged him that he should do whatever he would to win him over. This assignment was very difficult because he continued to remind Pastor Ayo that it was Umah Ukpai and Osueke that plotted his removal but Pastor Ayo insisted that he can’t get involved if he didn’t go and meet with Dr. Umah Ukpai.

Reluctantly, he called Dr Umah Ukpai and both of them agreed to meet on a Saturday. On that day, he changed his mind, he decided that he won’t keep the appointment. As the day was closing, Dr Umah called him severally before he picked his call. He told Umah Ukpai that he can’t make it because his car had problem. Dr Umah Ukpai told him that he was ready to send his car to bring him the next day to his home town in Ohafia in Abia. Again, Dr Umah Ukpai reminded him that he had to cancel all other appointments to ensure their meeting held that day and that he would do the same, the next day if he would promise to come. I just described how much he despised Umah Ukpai and wished to avoid him totally until he was overwhelmed by the humility of Rev Dr Umah Ukpai. He later visited Umah Ukpai the next day with his so-called spoilt car though it never broke down on the way because it was actually a new Jeep.

During the meeting, Dr Umah wanted to know why he dispersed him so much after all his appeal to him at Uyo? He wanted to know why it took him so long to open up to him? As usual, he gave flimsy excuses. After all the discussion, Dr. Umah Ukpai expressed pity for him because he pretended to be repentant. Anyway, Dr. Umah finally agreed to intervene and promised to meet with the officers. One week later, he was in Enugu to meet with the officers of the General Council. The officers as usual were willing and open for peace. They requested that they would settle on the ground that he show some remorse and repentance by withdrawal all cases from the court. They gave Dr. Umah strong promise that once he does the needful, the remaining wouldn’t be a problem.

Friends, you don’t need to be told that the officers of the General Council hold Dr. Umah in great honour. There was no way they would express their willingness to reconciliation and give a condition and later go back on their words. Unfortunately, Rev Dr Umah’s efforts came to nothing because the ex-GS could not trust him to pull through the reconciliation. He refused to show remorse nor any form of repentance instead he filled more suits against the EC and Papa Osueke.

Nonso Nkwa to Uzodinma, Work for Ndi Imo and leave Political billboards.

A highly reputable broadcaster and entertainer in Owerri, Mazi Chinomso Uba(Nonso Nkwa) has advised the Governor of Imo State Sen. Hope Uzodinma to work and stop chasing shadows as NDI Imo have long expected a change and triple R, as he promised. He took his Facebook account to bare his mind this way.

I find it highly laughable and unbelievable that the present government should order the immediate dismantling of political billboards in Imo state and I ask to what purpose and end?

The governor should face the realities of governance and stop chasing shadows!

Imolites are expecting serious development from him not dismantling of 2019 billboards, these billboards will fetter and disappear on their own in due time.

The truth is that Hope Uzodimma has no campaign billboards in Owerri or anywhere in Imo,even if he had,it was one here, one there!

Therefore one could easily deduce and understand the rationale behind his order to dismantle political billboards in the state. These billboards ofcourse sends a guilty signal of “Nna,I meghikwa campaign o,but here you are as governor ”

Biko,he should stop playing to the gallery and start working immediately. No time to waste, the rains are here, our roads are bad. Ndi Imo wont take any excuses from this government if they suffer what they suffered last year during the rainy season.

Dede hapu billboard aka,ruo oru ka uzo di mma n’Imo…

Nonsonkwa is my name
I am an Imolite!!!!

Find out if you are living with a Snake in your home.

Snakes are one of the most feared carnivorous reptiles. Irrespective of this, these slithery creatures are still loved and kept as pets in some homes.

While they are regarded as pets by many, others have illogical fear for them and would rather kill them upon seeing them. Even though some snakes are not venomous, it is dangerous having a snake venture in to your home, and even more dangerous when you have no idea it has been sharing your space with you. When a snakes sneaks into your space and become comfortable, it never leave except when threatened. Here are signs you might be sharing your space with a snake.

1.Sudden disappearance of rodents around your home.

Most households once in a while have rats and mice running around their homes in search of food scraps in wastebins. When you notice a sudden absence of these rodents around your home without having any conscious effort to put them away, there are chances you’ve had a snake or two do that for you.

2. Shedded or Molten skin.

Shedding occurs regularly in snakes, it is part of the growth process for all snakes. It happens when a snake scratches its skin over a rough surface to get rid of old skin. If you bumb into a snake shedding in or around your home, you have to be careful because chances are you have a snake laying around.

3. Unexplainable noises from your pets.

If you keep pets like cats and dogs in your home and they suddenly begin to make noise every night when every body must have gone to bed, chances are that they see an unexpected visitor sneaking around the house.

4. Noises from congested corner of the house.

Snakes have a high tendency to seek out dark, clustered or damp corners around your house.

This hideout is where they feel safe, unthreatened and comfortable. When there is noise coming from this area of the house, there are chances you have a snake, hinding or trying to lay some eggs. These places could be your store, garage or places that are not often accessed.

Memories of ABA Women Riot as we celebrate mothers.

REMEMBERING NWAYEREUWA, NWANNEDIA, IKONNIA & NWUGO.

I’m sure 90% of Africans, Nigerians and mainly people of Igbo origin who read the headline of this post will be like who the hell are these people?
Yes we wouldn’t know them because we’ve been busy learning about their Mother Theresa and the fraudulent story of Mary Slessor.

90yrs ago, in the morning of November 18th 1929, a man called Emereuwa upon the directive of his boss Okugo the warrant chief, walked into the compound of a widow called Nwanyereuwa, ordered her for a census of all her livestock and household. The widow Nwanyereuwa knowing the census will determined how much she will be taxed by the British colonial government, embittered, shouted on Emereuwa “was your widowed mother at home counted?” An angry exchange ensued in which EmereUwa grabbed Nwanyereuwa by her throat and started dragging her,

Nwanyereuwa in return poured her pot of oil on him. Nwanyereuwa resentfully rushed down to the town and market square, consulted other disgruntled women, They with palm fronds and mobilised other women. And that marked the beginning of one of the greatest resistance, rebellion and uprising the British imperial colonial rule ever faced in Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Africa in general, Called #The_Aba_Womens_Riot otherwise known as #The_women_who_went_to_war

While the men were subdued, while the man died in the face of oppression and tyranny of colonialism, The women stepped up and fought. Record has it that over ten thousand women were involved in this revolt, and about 50 women and 1man lost their lives in the war/riot. This resistance was orchestrated by ;
1) Persuasive #Ikonnia
2) Intelligent #Nwannedia
3) Passionate #Nwugo &
4) Wise, Counselling and strategic #Nwanyereuwa these were the women that led the Famous #Aba_Womens_Riot. Women from across Six ethnic groups were involved, the Igbos, Ibibio, Andoni, Ogoni, Bonny and Opobo

Hundreds of British colonial courts were burnt down and destroyed, hundreds of warrant chiefs were ostracised and banished. On the aftermath of the revolt, the British were forced to abandon the proposed plans to impose tax on the market women, powers of the warrant chiefs were considerably curbed and more robust room was created for women’s inclusiveness in the grand scheme of things. The Aba women’s riot was on the scale never seen before. It prompted, encouraged and inspired subsequent agitations like;

1) The Tax protest of 1938
2) The Owerri & Calabar oil mill protest of the 1940s
3) The Onitsha Aba Tax revolt of 1956
Then consequently the Nigeria 🇳🇬 independence in 1960.

But unfortunately sad, when you drive through Aba today, you will see Faulks road, in owerri you will see Wetheral Road and Douglas road all of them are colonial relics. Imo state government house is called Douglas house, named after Harold Morday Douglas, a brutal British colonial district commissioner who orchestrated the Ahiara expedition of 1905 that saw villages wiped out.
Today one deranged governor of Imo State was busy moulding status of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia 🇱🇷 and Jacob Zuma of South Africa 🇿🇦, that has no connection or historical relevance to the people of Imo State. We’ve seen streets, roads, government buildings and and schools named after strangers, monuments raised for people of little or no importance to our history and future. But the real heroes, heroins and legends have been relegated to obscurity, sent to oblivion in a complete sheer and crass negligence.

I hope that one day, the Igbos, Ibibios, Andonis, Ogonis, Opobos and Bonnis will have a leadership that will remember these women, the fifty that lost their lives and all that paid the ultimate price, immortalise them. I hope one day I shall see Nwanyereuwa road, Ikonnia hospital, Nwannedia secondary school and Nwugo shopping plaza. I hope to see us name our children after these legendary women and mothers and tell them the story.

Today, I remember the women who didn’t only fight against an oppressive British colonial rule, but also had to fight their own men (Warrant chiefs) who chose the side of the Oppressor because of crumbs that fall from the table of masser.

Aba women’s riot, the women who went to war. We remember.

PROPHETIC FRAUDSTARS! By Rev. Dr. Paul-Nathan Udeze

I didn’t hear that anyone predicted about Corona virus before it came. The Nigerian prophets only prophesy about the death of big men and ask them to pray. Which they do by running to them with money, so they would cancel the impending danger. How come they failed to predict about a thing as big as Corona virus that can wipe out a whole nation if care is not taking. Nigeria prophets who engage in prediction or foretelling from the biggest to the smallest are fraudstars. Anyone who foretells what would happen in the nation or around the world at the beginning of the year is a fraud and a sorcerer. Naturally, some of them would come to pass while so many of them would not happen because it is all a demonic setup.Of course, we have genuine prophets in the New testament dispensation but their work is not to foretell, that means, they rarely foretell. Their work is forthtelling, which means to proclaim or to preach Christ Jesus and to ensure that He is preached correctly. He rebukes errors and receive revelation based on what were already written in the Bible. We don’t walk by prophecy but by faith. Trust God about your future every steps of the way. Jesus Christ took care of our past, present and future only through His blood at the CROSS. Not through prayer and fasting or all night prophetic service, only through His BLOOD!Faith in the blood of Jesus Christ is all we need! Not faith in all the scriptures quoted by your Pastor not faith in His prophecies but only in the BLOOD (Rom.3:24-26). Faith in the blood comes by hearing the word of God concerning only what Jesus Christ did on the cross as it appears both in the Old/New testaments.

Jesus Christ say that all the scriptures speak about Him and what He would accomplish on the cross (Lk.24:27; Jn.5:39)A true prophet, like Apostle Paul centers his message on calling people back to what God accomplished through Christ for us at the cross. Death which had been under the power of Satan was destroyed on the CROSS through the death of Jesus Christ (Heb.2:14-16). We are not at the mercy of the Devil and his agents, neither are we at the mercy of diseases and viruses, we are under the power of Jesus Christ through His BLOOD.Through the blood of Jesus Christ, you can face death if that is the will of God for you and through the blood of Jesus Christ, you can physically overcome death if you have not finished your mission here on earth.

There is no age limit to death! Life and death are the hands of God. He alone decides when your work on earth is done not man. So trust Him and never depend on predictions which some call prophecy to know your future. Biblical prophecies are for exhortation, edification and comfort not predictions. A man who cannot close a service without predictions is nothing but a sorcerer.

Imo Police Command to Partner Imo OMPAN to fight Criminality, Menace of Social Media.

The Imo State Police Command through the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Godson Orlando Ikeoku has stated the willingness of the command to partner the Imo State Chapter of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria, OMPAN and other corporate organizations in the state in order to fight fake news and abuse of social media in society.

The Police Spokesperson stated this in his office while having in audience the leadership of Imo OMPAN who paid him a courtesy visit recently.

According to SP Ikeoku, many crimes and fake news as well as hate speeches are being carried out through the social media, stressing that “Social media is a ticking time bomb”

“The problem social media will cause if we don’t take time, we may not be able to manage it and it may be worst than tsunami because we are in a generation where everybody is exposed to social media even people who need it and people who don’t need it and have no business with it.”

The PPRO decried the unwarranted and unprofessional manner some people in the state spread rumours, fake news and panic across the state without proper verification noting that the main objective and advantages of social media has been serially bastardized, misused and abused.

“It is a serious problem that even the elderly ones and minors and all of them now have the power of social media. So that can be abused and misused especially when you have people that are in the business of pressing the alarm button when they are not supposed to”

He advised the citizens of the State to always ask questions whenever they come across voice notes, messages and other social media contents in a thorough bid to verify them before sharing, forwarding or disseminating the information.

“This is why we need you (imo OMPAN) to work with us in order to curb the menace of fake news”

BRING BACK YOUR LOST GLORY! NOW by Daniel Ukwu.

by Ukwu Daniel (Kingdanny )

ARONDIZUOGU my people, we have a big problem. Is a hard time we tell our selves the bitter truth that we are lagging behind in everything.

some people are not happy with my previous post, while some knew the truth behind my post, it was to re-awake our minds towards redeveloping our own community.

Others were asking questions how we can start to get our town ARONDIZUOGU work again? I will start my response to those questions by asking us questions too.

Can a divided house 🏡 profuce a happy family 👪 without them coming together? Now the answer is NO, but it seems we are divided and don’t want to come together as one family if the truth must be told.(we can see that through our comments on the previous post)

(2) Proud have taken majority of us as everybody wants to be the leader without first of all be a good follower(servant) we don’t value what we have, we prefer to promote and enjoy other people’s values than our own (Ndi beanyi, anyi Na ahurimbuba Na oku ).

(3) We don’t appreciate our brothers and sisters who are trying in one way or the other to get our town ARONDIZUOGU work again.

(4) Castigation, my people of ARONDIZUOGU we know how to castigate and run our own people down and it’s time we put an end to it.

*How can we achieve all this?*

We have to start by realising that God bless us with potentials and special gifts and then come together as one family, reason and speak with one voice and take a decision as a family. We must swallow pride, my little knowledge about Aro, We are one anywhere in the world and give listening ear to our brethren as well as work with one towards achieving a positive goal. ( ARONDIZUOGU is our own ARO deffrent?) and I ask again is MBANASA more learned and united more than us?

“Izuogu were is our lost glory”? Can we take a good look at Akokwa do they have academias and wealthy people than us? But dey have everything in their place, timber, best daily market in Ideato nation , good schools, banksr, industries, motor parks, good roads and light 💡, etc. they achieved it because they have one mind and put the development of their town first and today they talk of the town around and we even rush there to get what we need and flez life.

Izuogu which one do we boost of? Akokwa I know have about Six (6) communities but now have their own Police division but ARONDIZUOGU have more than 20 communities yet we don’t have even a functional police station.

ARONDIZUOGU my people we don’t have another town we can call our own except AROMDIZUOGU, no matter how long we flex and stay in the city home is home, if we refuse to come home alive we certainly must come home in death.

Please let us get back to our feets and work towards restoring our lost glory, Our Traditional Tulers, the chiefs, the big men and young rich guys come together and let’s us discuss way forward.

We can partner with government to restore our electricity project back to function and our technocrats will return home, women can sell ice water etc.

I believe in ARONDIZUOGU and ARONDIZUOGU must be great again.
Long live ARONDIZUOGU, Long live IMO State, Long live Alaigbo.

The Church is a Spiritual House Rev. Pastor Ejikeme Ejim

The Acting General Superintendent Assemblies of God Nigeria Rev. Pastor. Ejikeme Ejim ministered in the ongoing 3rd Triennial Council meeting of Assemblies of God Nigeria Uyo East District.

In his message he Titled “The Church is a Spiritual House ”
He took his text from the Book of 1Peter 2:1-3.

We all come from different cultures and tribes, but Jesus has brought us together.
But after we have come together from different tribes, we must all allow God to speak to us through the scriptures.

The Holy Spirit reveals himself to us and shows us where we are heading to.

When Godly sorrow is introduced into our lives by the Holy Spirit, the man who has been living in Sin of any kind, he begins to hate the things he used to love.
…”For he shall save his people from their Sin ” – Matthew 1:21.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16.

He who believes in Jesus is not condemned.
The wicked believes and trembles, can not repent. But we believe and repent from Sin. The devil can’t believe and be saved, but believers do.

We are all free to do evil, but as a believer we will not because Jesus is now the king over our lives.

When you invite Jesus into your life, He renews you, recreate you and transforms you.
We have made an informed, intelligent choice to follow Jesus.
It is a Spiritual foolishness to reject Jesus.
We are convinced that following Jesus is the best choice.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.- John 14:6

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. – Acts 4:12

We must remember that we came to Church through the word and must remain true to the word of God.
Be more interested with Christ than in position of leadership.

…It is possible to teach what you don’t know, you must be a Spiritual man to know it. Romans 8:5-8

You cannot put a carnal man to do Spiritual business.
We are to live a Holy life we can’t be absolutely be Holy as God. But the Holy Spirit keeps warning us whenever we go wrong.

Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Isaiah 59:1-2

Jesus saves to the uttermost -He came to give humanity 100% Salvation.
The Church as a Spiritual house has one foundation which is Jesus Christ.

A leader in the Church must be a man of the Spirit.

ARONDIZUOGU MUST BECOME GREAT AGAIN.

Good morning house, its paining me that I little post I made yesterday is generating unnecessary dust.
We are from here and will remain the citizens and indigenes of Arondizuogu and we can’t run away from the truth.

Neither are we expecting strangers to come and rebuild our home for us. Many of us are in different cities enjoying the social amenities in such cities even contribute to the development of such cities but our own town lies in waste.

Nehemiah in the Bible was in a Palace and a city where he lacked nothing, everything was made available for him to enjoy, yet he was concerned about Jerusalem and he chose to inquired from people who visited, and when he discovered that Jerusalem is in ruins he took a big risk to approach the king when he should not and in the manner he should not try.(which results should be death) but God aided his actions and the King ordered him to and repair his home town Jerusalem and even provided all materials needed.
Nehemiah 1:1…

Now how do we forget our own city because we live in another man’s city? One day we must go home.
Most of us especially the youths are busy blaming the elders and Nigeria government, you and I are the government. How have we contributed to the development of our town?

You are in the city taking titles yet nobody knows you here in the village, how many schools have you provided exercise books, pen, football etc to encourage learning in these schools where most of us learnt how to read and write?

Okay you think it doesn’t matter?

Obukwa Madu Nwe Obodo Ewu Nata.

We left the key issues on the previous post and was attacking the poster, you see how myopic we have reduced our sight?

Yeh caretaker of Ideato north has been zoned to Arondizuogu what are saying about the people that will occupy the position and at least contribute our quarter in the public affairs of dear Local Government and town.

Have you anyone among us taken time to move around the towns and community surrounding the ancient city of Arondizuogu and see the level of development that has been installed in such towns?

Let’s look down and take a wise decision now, we may not have such opportunity again and blaming those in government will not solve any problem, let’s be part of the government now and speak for ourselves, and by ourselves.

For those saying am exposing my town to the public, may I remind you that ARONDIZUOGU is hidden, everyday people from all parts of this country pass through ARONDIZUOGU and discuss about this once great city. Don’t think nobody knows about our challand state of things. Let tell ourselves the bitter truth and the time for action is now.
