Debt Profile: Atiku’s Position Is Based On Scaremongering – FG

The Federal Government has faulted former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s comment on the debt profile of the nation saying his comments were based “on scaremongering anchored on a false premise.”

In a statement in Abuja on Wednesday, Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said while the Federal Government welcomes constructive criticism, such must be based on verifiable facts rather than conjectures and innuendos.

He pointed out the debt figure to revenue ratio of 99% in the first quarter of 2020 quoted by Atiku is not in the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper where he claimed he got it from.

”We are also not able to ascertain the source of the first quarter figures of N943.12 billion for debt servicing and N950.56 billion for retained revenue, which he also quoted,” he said.

The Minister said the debt service provisions in the annual budgets include principal repayments, interest payments and all other applicable charges, adding: ”Therefore, the statement that debt servicing does not equate to debt repayment is not only wrong, but ill-informed.”

On the former Vice President’s assertion that revenue needs to go up, he said the administration has introduced several measures to shore up revenues, listing some of the measures as the passage and implementation of the Finance Act, 2019, various on-going reforms in the Oil and Gas, Tax Administration and Collections, as well as the Strategic Revenue Growth Initiatives.

He said since Nigeria’s debt service is expressly provided in the annual budgets and the debt service payments are made as and when due, the issue of creditors foreclosing on Nigeria, as strangely predicted by the former Vice President, does not arise.

He said contrary to the statement credited to Abubakar that Nigeria has experienced alarming and unprecedented increase in the ratios of debt to GDP and debt service to revenue, indeed, Nigeria’s ratio of debt to GDP is one of the lowest in the world at 19.00% as at December 31, 2019, while Government is making concerted efforts to increase revenue so as to bring down the ratio of debt service to revenue.

Former Attorney General, Mohammed Adoke, Arraign On Fresh Charges By EFCC

Former Embattled Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke has been arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on fresh charges.

According to Statesman newspaper Adoke was arraigned alongside Mr. Aliyu Abubakar.

Both men had earlier been arraigned on a seven-count charge bordering on money laundering, bribery, and abuse of office.

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja had granted Adoke bail in the sum of N50m with one surety in like sum after he pleaded not guilty to all charges stemming from his alleged fraudulent involvement in the Malabo oil deal.

The former AGF was first arraigned in December 2019 before the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court upon his return to the country from Dubai.

Adoke’s lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome, at the last hearing of the case earlier in the year, accused the EFCC of holding his client “in permanent custody,” adding “This has further jeopardized his very poor and fragile health.

My Sincere Response To All Accusations – Nathan Udeze

-PaulNathan Udeze

1John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

(1) March 6th 2014, was the day the excommunicated Gs was suspended, Udeze stood up and questioned the decision. TST joined to question the decision.

(2) Udeze implored violence, the whole TST joined and became violent.

(3) Udeze implored propaganda, half truth, half lies, abuses of leaders; the whole TST followed suit and called him their lion and a hero.

(4) Udeze soon came back to his senses, convicted by the Holy Spirit and left six positions,(1)Youth Director, (2) Senior Pastor Awk. 1 Church, (3)Lecturer Crown Theological Seminary,(4) Director C.A.S.O.R,(5) Director Crown Theological Seminary Weekend Programme,(6)Dean of Students Affairs CTS, which he held under rebellion and went back to started from the scratch, just to be at peace with God: TST refused to follow rather accused him of seeking for position and money which he left behind.

(5) Udeze went on his kneels, apologized to the Church, her leadership, Papa Osueke and wrote a letter of apology to Senator Egwu through the suspended GS, Dr Chidi Okoroafor: guess what? TST cried fowl! They refused and vowed not to follow.

(6) Udeze their hero became a devil, a leper, greedy, bribed and wicked; could it be that TST only follows that which is evil and not that which is good and righteous?
(7) The question is tst, who has bewitched you? Where is Christ in all your abuses, lies and deceit? Must you follow that which is evil? Were you all evil but hid it, only to find a little window of opportunity through AG crisis to express it? Have any one of you ever met with Christ? Have you ever met anyone who had an encounter Christ? Do you think that Christianity is gain? Apostle Paul says that he lost all that were gain to him for Christ sake. Those who met with Christ genuinely do not talk about gain but what they lost for Christ sake.

(8) You have all read Rev Dr Charles OSUEKE response and that’s very instructive. His goal for this past sixty years in the Lord is to be more and more like Christ: Apostle Paul says follow me even as I follow Christ. That’s why I chose to follow him!
(9) So many have asked me, “Udeze, what happened?” My reply was I decided to follow Christ and allow Him fight for me, so that I will not insist on position and miss heaven . Heaven alone is my goal! Take all the positions, but just give me Jesus! I am satisfied!!

(10) I know that presently the hate for me had increased astronomically because several people asked me to keep quiet about the last March 6th 2020 but I refused: the reason is because I am now one of the leaders of Assemblies of God Nigeria for life, having successfully lead a unit of the Church. The history of Assemblies of God will never be complete without my name, so I can’t keep quiet anytime any issue threats the unity and future of the church, whether I have position or not. So it is no longer TST that hates me but those who think that the Church should condole immorality, so long it concerns a beloved popular leader. Sorry, I refuse to agree, the Church of Jesus Christ has no place for any known sin from any quarter!

(11) Finally, I am no longer your hero and your lion; I am now a slave of Jesus Christ. I do not care about honour, power, position and wealth; I rejoice only in shame, disgrace, dishonour, persecution, rejection, lack, abuses, demotion and pains. As long as that would give you the satisfaction to return to Christ and take up your own Cross.

May God again bless my most beloved Daddy, Rev Dr Charles OSUEKE for insisting on making his only goal for sixty years now, knowing Christ. As long as you have chosen to always follow Christ, look back, you will always see me following you. I love you all!
God bless Rev Dr Charles OSUEKE, Rt. General Superintendent after over 22 years of meritorious service.
God bless Rev Pastor Ejikeme Ejim, Acting Gen. Supt. Assemblies of God Nigeria.
God bless all AG members!

Rev. Dr. Charles C.Osueke, The Pride Of Assemblies Of God Nigeria.

MATT.7:16-20
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

CHECK THE FRUITS.
All it takes to know who a man really is, is the fruits he bears. Some are desperate to impress people with whom they are, so they are one thing in the public and another thing in the private. One event doesn’t make a man, it takes years of consistency and several events in a particular order to properly tell who a man is. In the words of the scripture, “every good tree brings forth good fruits..”

A good tree does not bring forth good fruits for a year and the next year bring forth evil fruits. A good tree is consistent, likewise, a corrupt tree. In ASSEMBLIES OF GOD NIGERIA, if all the dead and the living that ever attended AG gather at one spot and you mention the name Brother Osueke, each person would lift their heads with pride and joy. He inspires hope and joy because of his consistent Christ-centered lifestyle. AG knows only an Osueke who preached holiness, lives and practised holiness.

THE WISHES OF A CORRUPT TREE.
When a man is adulterous for instance, he insists that there are others like him who preach against adultery yet they practice it. We never heard that Daddy Osueke was immoral and corrupt until he stood up against immorality and arrogant, proud and autocratic leadership in AG. Suddenly, after over over forty years of uninterrupted ministry, he became evil, immoral and ambitious.

Shockingly, as soon the duo became partners, Osueke became their target. You remembered that at the last days of the later, he quickly went to the former, knelt down and reconciled with the man AG excommunicated under his chairmanship in the presence and approval of over 8,000 ministers, thereby despised the sacredness of his office as GS while he came back and accepted his suspension for appearance of evil. Why would you allow an excommunicated man to pray for you? What a betrayal of the church? If there are anything to apologize, should you not have first apologized to the Church and the 8,000 ministers? He went for reconciliation after he had enjoyed the goodies that accrued from his excommunication. Is there something he was not telling us?

Now, both of them have one spokesman! They both entered agreement which from every indication is the offshoot of this evil attack on the person and reputation of the greatest son of Assemblies of God Nigeria, Rev Dr Charles C. Osueke.

IN THE SIGHT OF AGN.
Assemblies of God Nigeria knows their leaders and they hold them in the highest esteem. Dr Charles Osueke in the sight of AG represents stability, integrity, creativity, progress, unity, acceptability and accuracy in leadership and sound biblical doctrine. His offence is that he would not standby and watch while the Church goes astray.

Can you imagine twenty two years of no crisis inspite of being elected the GS at the tender years of 48 years old? That is, in a Church where he met more elderly ministers and members before him. In a Church, where he met various serious court cases on ground without resolve before he took the mantle of leadership. Yet, he weather the storm and came to the port unspent. The twenty two years AG would never forget, where the Church carved out her name in the community of churches in Nigeria as it concerned major evangelistic thrust, gigantic projects like Evangel International conference centre, Evangel University, Evangel General Council Headquarters and so many others.

At this point, nobody ever thought of an AG Gen. Supt. holding midnight meetings with occult groups in Enugu just to impose himself on the church and manipulate everybody nor an AG GS being associated with multiple sexual escapades. How many of you can remember ever seeing Dr Osueke without his wife in any events both in Nigeria and outside? If ever, how many times? I just can’t remember except while he was in his office and maybe, his wife may come much later. Is that the man that any sensible person would accuse of immorality just because he said no to leadership of impunity?

THE GENESIS
I have been in the both sides of the fences and I can tell you so much with details. Immediately after march 6th 2014, I was invited by the excommunicated GS and his wife. They wanted me to write everything I can about Dad. Osueke and one of them was that they have enough evidence that he committed adultery. I asked the nature of the evidence but they couldn’t provide any.

I knew such was a grievous accusation and the AG I was born into do not swallow anything without evidence. So I refused to write on it, rather I continued to vet my anger on what happened on march 6th which at that point wasn’t acceptable to me but that didn’t go down well with them. Their greatest interest was to cast aspersions on the person and integrity of Dad. Osueke. It has been quite a while and they final found a poor wretched window of expression.

WHY IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!
(1)Daddy Osueke had no child for the first 13years of marriage yet there was no rumours of immorality or infidelity. If a man was not desperate for a child for the first 13 years of his marriage, is it possible that he became desperate after God gave him his own seed?
(2) AGN of the 80’s, 90’s and even a major part of the 2000’s would investigate every rumour and finally suspend a person based only on appearance of evil, just to be on a safer side. Their pursuit of holiness was total and exclusive, no one lived as he wished.
(3) Daddy Osueke as a leader was never soft with issues of morality,he even disciplined some of his close aliens, who knew him too well; there was no way such secret of his would have been wept under the carpet, if they were true.

(4) A woman who gave birth to two sons for a man secretly and finally could not have her own children cannot be hidden. By now, she would have been a torn in the flesh. No woman can knowingly pretend she has no children while her biological children are doing well oversees and her secret husband is pretending that he is holy. That’s not possible! One could have even dared to give such stupidity a thought except for the fact that the excommunicated GS boldly wrote that the woman could not have her own children.

(5) Friends, when a man has lost consciousness of heaven, he often thinks that God is a liar.No man can carry the vessel of God like Dr. Osueke did and live in secret sin. God cannot be mock! Check any man without the fear of God, they often end in a shocking and alarming downfall.
(6) If you said, you investigated before you penned down such grievous and silly accusation, please, be bold enough and tell us where you went to do your investigation. The name of the woman, at least, you have said worst things than that. Tell us the church she presently attends and the names of her Pastor.
(7) Now that it obvious that you hate Osueke, you can at least, mention the names of the woman’s husband, so that an investigation would be forced on Osueke because no man would keep quiet on such accusation on a woman that fell to give him even a child but for another man two children.

A LYING TONGUE SHALL PERISH!
(1)I left TST and that brought unrecoverable shivering shock within the breadth and width of their concave. When they didn’t know what they could accuse me, shamefully but very unfortunately, they accused my late father, Rev. N.U Obitulata of being caught in adultery two years before his death twenty seven years ago.

They said the matter was brought before Owerri District presbytery were my father served and my father denied. Then, the presbytery handed him over to God to judge him and two years later, God killed my father.

The truth was that three years before my father’s death, he was off and on in the hospital. He was never accused of immorality and all throughout his life, he never appeared before any presbytery on account of any accusations of any nature. He served faithfully and meritoriously and went to be with the Lord as a result of his illness of 20 years.

(2) Recently, were all shocked to hear that our beloved Acting General Superintendent, Rev Pastor Ejikeme Ejim was not properly married. He was accused by the same man that he impregnated his wife before wedding, so the Church decided not to wed them as a result. So many people thought it was true until last two weeks when the AGS celebrated their 46 years of wedding anniversary and posted their wedding pictures and no one heard a word from the liar.

THE CRUISE OF THE MATTER!
On 6th March 2014, the Executive Committee of AGN in a special General committee session suspended and later in a General Council in session rectified that suspension to excommunication as a result of irresponsible leadership and abuse of office. The excommunicated GS rejected the ecclesiastical correction of love and formed an army of rebels to fight the church. A fight which have come to futility on all fronts and now have turned his rebel group as accusers of brethren.

OUR COLLECTIVE RESOLVE!
(1) The church resolves that no individual is greater than the whole church no matter how highly placed such individual maybe.
(2) While the church is not at war with anyone yet we shall not sacrifice our spiritual in heritage on the altar of peace and harmony with any individual.
(3) No amount of blackmail, hate speeches and physical attack will distract us from focusing wholly on the great commission.
(4) The church remains the hope and the light of the world, we shall continue to pray for our enemies within and outside church.
(5) The church is open and always willing to forgive anyone that comes to his senses in repentance including the excommunicated GS.

My Response To False Accusers! By Rev. Dr. Charles O. Osueke

– PaulNathan Udeze

MY GOAL NOW AND IN THE FUTURE!
After sixty years years in Christ, my goal even in the coming year is that I would be more and more like CHRIST! This is because the more I know Christ, the closer, I get to Him. The closer I get to CHRIST, the more I share in fellowship with Him. The more I share in fellowship with CHRIST, the more I will be like Him.

Perhaps, you have heard me say or maybe, you are hearing it for the first time, ‘I will make heaven, and nothing will STOP me from making heaven, I will get there’. Do you know why I am sure that I will get there, because I am putting on His resemblance.

MY LIFE PURSUIT!
Every day of my life, I am pursuing after Him to be more like CHRIST. So that, when I will get home in heaven, I shall be no stranger there. This is because Christ mark shall be on my face, in my character and everything about Him will be seen in me here on earth and then, I will go home. So that in heaven, I will be seen as His young brother.

MY WAKE UP SONG:
Many times, I even woke with a song like this;
” When the beryl gates are opened to sinner save by grace.
When through everlasting portion, I behold my saviour’s face.
when I enter through the mansion of the city bright and fair, I shall have a royal welcome, I shall be no stranger there.
Chorus
I shall be, no stranger there,
Jesus will my place prepare
He will meet me, He will greet me,
I shall be no stranger there!

THE WONDERS OF REDEMPTION!
Do you know the picture I have in my mind as I imagine this; at my creation, God created me to be like Him. When I missed the way, redemption came and restored me so that I would be like my elder brother, Jesus Christ. Then at the coordination of time, when Christ shall appear, I will be like Him.

MY ROYAL WELCOME IN HEAVEN.
The picture I do have some times in my mind is that I see myself, walking through the beryl gate and perhaps, an over zealous Angel can come around and shout, wait! Wait!! Wait!! As he is shouting, wait! My elder brother, Jesus Christ has already seen His mark on me and He has already stood up to receive me. At that point, another Angel may ask the other Angel that is shouting, wait! Don’t you see that mark? Don’t you see that he is like CHRIST? Instantly, the way would open and I would spend a blessed eternity with God in heaven.

MY CHALLENGE!
I am challenging you today;’Are you saved, thank God, you are saved!; You were an adulterer, now, you are no longer! You were a thief, now, you’re no longer! You were a murderer, yes, you’re no longer! You were a liar, yes, you are no longer! However, the question now is, ‘Are you like Christ?’. Pursue His likeness, follow after His likeness and His likeness will take you home.

VERY IMPORTANT FACTS.
As you are pursuing His likeness, all these other things, you be easy. There are people that tell you that there are too many laws in the bible. When they talk about it, I don’t know where the laws are because I am pursuing to be like Jesus Christ. From there, every other things are easy and minimal because CHRIST who fulfilled the law, has removed all the difficulties. As result, I no longer see any difficulties in serving God, because all I want is to be like CHRIST!

MY FINAL CHALLENGE!
BE LIKE JESUS IN THE MORNING!
BE LIKE JESUS IN THE DAY!
BE LIKE JESUS IN THE NIGHT!

Any other time, I may be opportune to come your way, please, let me see you being more LIKE JESUS!

THAT’S MY RESPONSE!

I REGRET THE DAYS I INTENTIONALLY SINNED, KNOWING THAT GOD WILL FORGIVE ME.

– Evang. Moses

I regrets the day I intentionally sinned knowing that God will forgive me, Yes, he forgave me, but what about the mighty prophecies that were delayed?

What about the virtues that were lost? What about the souls that died and went to hell simply because I didn’t repent earlier to preach to them? What about the time I wasted in Babylon?

I am begging this rising army… I am talking to all those that God has given second chance…

I am talking to someone who has a lot of mighty prophecies on their head and time is going, yet, none of the prophecies are manifesting…

I am talking to someone who truly loves God but the flesh is weak… There’s no need losing all that we have accumulated in the spirit on the table of compromise…

Please, let’s go back to God…

There must be something to learn from that mockery or delay you’re going through now…

All the days Hannah cried in Shiloh because of her rival Peninnah, God did not show up, until he saw his kingdom in her tears… Mockery taught Hannah that there’s a need for a child in the house of God…

The sons of Eli were messing up and God needed someone to be raised in that temple…

And Hannah caught God when she promised him that she will return the child if he ever give her a child…

Decision separates men…
Sacrifice separates men…

If you were God, would you overlook that voice of reasoning from Hannah?

Friends, there’s a price to pay…

There’s something glorious about your future God will show you, you will not need your Pastor to keep preaching salvation message to you daily…

When you see a young girl who is keeping sexual appointments, check that gurl, she has not seen anything yet about her future…

When you see a young boy who is seducing young girls to bed and his mates will be clapping for him, check that guy, he is spiritually blind…

If you sin again and again and again… God will forgive you again and again and again… But while he is busy forgiving you, angels are busy looking for someone else heaven will use to replace you…

The value God place on people is not determined by how long they can pray, or how many scriptures they can quote…

But how much they can bear for his Name’s sake…

Sometimes, God allows your salary to be delayed to know if you will start stealing in your office…

Sometimes, he allows some loosed ladies to start suggesting sex to you, to know if you have grown spiritually…

If you can control your flesh, then you’re truly matured to have his presence…

Decision separates men…

There’s an OIL that comes with the spirit of separation…

The weight of a man is buried in the decision he makes when no one is watching…

I know some boys and girls, men and women, who are somewhere now crying, begging God to give them an assignment that will make this generation to mock them for his sake…

And I know that very soon, those guys will not struggle for this generation to follow them to their God…

Go back to God, sir/ma…
There’s a price to pay…

Saul wore a crown he did not pay for and he paid dearly for it… David wore the same crown and made more mistakes than Saul, yet, the throne did not reject him…

Because he has paid for that seat in the secret place… There are men that will read the same Bible that you are reading and they will produce more results than you…

There are people that will sing the same songs in your fone and they will produce miracles and encounters…

The secret place separates men…

Sister, anywhere you see someone who is running from what you are running for… Tell that person to lay hands and pray for you… You guys are not mates in the school of glory…
There’s a spirit in that man that will help your life…

Honour has a cost…
Glory is not cheap…

Don’t mock anyone whose only hope is on God because very soon, time will make you a liar…

Please forget about what you’re passing through and let’s go back to God…

If the desires of God are not in your desires, you are wasting your time…

If the burden for souls are not included in your prayer-points, your voice may not be heard in heaven…

There’s no point falling and rising…

Many are making it without compromise…
You too can make it…

“Go and sin no more.”

Our communities are waiting for us…

As it is now, it is too risky to sing the Lord’s song in a strange land…

Whatever it takes to stand stainless for Jesus, let the grace be multiplied unto us…

Thanks to God that many are already paying the price in the secret place…

The fire will burn again…

I repeat, the fire will burn again…

In Jesus name.

Corona Virus: Things You Must Do To Stay Safe

Corona Virus is a visitor and it must one day, at the moment let’s do our bit to stay safe, happy viewing.

The Importance Of Relationship Among People – By Amb. Prince

Amb. Prince is Preacher of the Gospel of Christ who has it as a burden to preach to sinners to turn to God their creator and live a holy life in preparation for rapture.

He is also a relationship counselor and Youth Leadership expert who has written papers on the above subjects and have spoken in many seminars, churches, schools and other gatherings.

In this series on our series he wrote about the Importance Of Relationship Among People.

Relationship is very vital amongst people that are working together or intend to work together, many people are suffering today because they abused their relationship few or many years ago, many people don’t know that the relationship they messed today can hunt them for the rest of their lives.

That is why my father was telling when he was alive that his name is a blank cheque that will fetch me most things I need in life very easy if I don’t mess it up.

And that was a guide to my life till date and many years after his death I realize what he told me then to be true, many doors has open at mention of his name and his good deed has open so many doors of favour to me and even people close to me.

We have to allow ourselves to be loved by the people who really love us, the people who really matter. Too much of the time, we are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us, people that don’t even matter, while all that time we waste and the people who do love us have to stand on the sidewalk and watch us beg in the streets! It’s time to put an end to this. It’s time for us to let ourselves be loved.

To be continued…

NEWSCOVID-19: Bauchi Gov Commissions NEDC Molecular Laboratory

Covid-19

Since the outbreak of Covid-19 in Nigeria many stated has been working steadily to curb the virus from spreading by installing Molecular Testing Machines, the latest is the one Commissioned by Bauchi State Governor.

According to The Nation Newspaper report, Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed has commissioned a Molecular Laboratory which was equipped by the North-East Development Commission (NEDC), with supervision from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).

While commissioning the center yesterday, Mohammed said the centre was established as part of efforts to tame the spread of Corona Virus and to fast track sample testing for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.

“The establishment of the center became necessary following the difficulties faced by officials of the state in tackling the COVID-19 pandemic, considering that samples had to be taken to Abuja and later Jos for testing, a development that was too cumbersome”.

“I am happy for this ground breaking ceremony in the state because our efforts as a government have paid off. “The NCDC was approached for permission while the NEDC took the responsibility of equipping the center and the state provided the structure. With the establishment of the center and commencement of operations, the issue of sample testing for COVID-19 infection will be laid to rest. At this juncture, I want to commend the committee for doing a good job”, the governor said.

In his remarks, the managing director of NEDC, Mohammed Alkali said the outbreak of the COVID-19 in the North East prompted the commission to support all the States in the North east in the fight against the dreaded virus.

“We donated ventilators, ambulances, hospital beds, multi-parameter monitors, PPEs, hand sanitizers, and infra-red thermometers to all the six states in the region”, Alkali said.

He said the molecular laboratory in Bauchi State was comprehensively equipped by the commission at the instance of Governor Bala Mohammed whom he said had expressed resolve and stewardship to end the pandemic in the state.

He said the molecular laboratory in the state will include the diagnosis of other important diseases that were previously not tested in the State.

Also speaking, chairman of the Center Implementation Committee, Dr Ladan Salihu commended the governor for ensuring that the establishment of the Center became a reality.

Ladan Salihu who is the Chief of Staff to Bauchi government, further said that with the commencement of operations at the center, Bauchi State has joined the league of few states that have such laboratories in the country.

Tinubu Part Of An Era That Destroyed Once A Promising Nation

– Chris O Maduka

Olusola George Olumoroti wrote a long piece showering praises on the former Governor of Lagos state and now the National leader of APC.

He described him as a man that made other men. Naming some of those who served under his administration as governor of Lagos state as they proceeded to become something bigger is the Nigerian failed or success project (you be the judge).

He basically described him as a political wizard and near infallible leader. He proceeded to ironically name some of the businesses attributable to his “Hero and idle” Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Ahmed, the Jagaban and the Lion of Bourdilion road Ikoyi. These are what make him truly the owner of Lagos PLC.

This sycophantic praise singer and his likes are perhaps citing these things to impress the citizens of this country as their gang leader is warming up for 2023 Presidential contest.
For instance; he completely forgot that the TV continental he mention was built at the site reserved for educating the future leaders, Lagos state polytechnic. He forgot that we cannot even ascertain what his political idle actually do for a living to amass such stupendous wealth.

Anyway, below is my Response to these type of peculiar Nigeria way of legitimizing and praising wrong and setting the wrong leadership precedence:👇🏾

MY RESPONSE:

ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED: THE VERDICT STILL PLAYING OUT THERE;

Those who think that this is impressive must have their mindset reprogrammed because what we have here is not leadership and grooming anything.

They need to be reminded that leadership is using the available resources to do the greatest good, for the greatest number of people. Let’s also be reminded that being a Robinhood or benevolent dictator of sort does not make you a leader. Yet these are what some enlightened people have come to equate as leadership -Tinubu brand.

It is more like gang membership and cronies that took over once a liberal state that can best be described as the truly Nigeria melting pot and skewed it to one corner as they relegated the real educated, tolerant, liberal real indigenous Lagosians to the back burner. Those Aworis, the Omo Ikorodus, Epe and the one we call the Returnees; the descendants of the freed slaves from Brazil, Sierra Leone and else where. These are those Lagosian with the English and Spanish sounding surnames: Bensons, Anthony’s, Williams, Johnsons, Davis, Dasilvas, Rhodes, Braithuate, among so many others found around the Isale Eko Lagos Island where we still have Brazillian neighbourhood and remnants of the culture till thisbday. These were the people that built Lagos with our collective wealth. Where are they today?

These were the people holding sway before now. These were the people basically overthrown by the Tinubu gang following the violent assassination of Funso Williams who was most certain to have won that Governorship election that year and effectively ending the civility and liberalism that Lagos was once known for.

So those Citing this as an example of leadership are merely buoyed by the fact the some are attempting to rewrite history to be kind to them.

Considering what Lagos has truly become in real fundamental ways as predicated on the real human relationship; are we going to say that Lagos still has its luster and attraction as that center of excellence? I don’t think so. Lagos has regressed and totally mismanaged.

Lagos is far more divided and polarized today than it has ever been. Environmentally speaking and quality of life, Legos is a hell hole. A growing giant ghetto where life had become nearly unbearable and brutish, but often over rated by those running the Lagos Plc, a conglomerate for Tinubu and his gang members.

The things that were once non issues are today the very polarizing issues in Lagos due to the brand of Asiwaju Tinubu political god-fatherism , thuggery and dis enfranchisement of other tribes resident in Lagos.
Tinubu introduced and exploited the hate and resentment by some of the Yorubas towards the Igbos especially for his political gains and survival.

Does popular democracy of majority wins or elections mean anything in Lagos? It is only Tinubu vote and endorsement that counts and often counted against anything else the Lagosians decided at the poll. Is that something anyone wants to entrench as a new normal instead of the aberration it is?

Same failed move made by his protege late Obafemi Awolowo whom the Revisioniats are working hard everyday trying portray as benign true National leader instead of the sectional tribal leader that bet on the wrong side of history he was.

Under Tinubu dynasty, religion that was once a non issue became a big issue in Lagos state. Today, the Yoruba Moslems from all the hinterland of the Yoruba land the Lai Mohamed, Rauf Aregbesola among others that were brought in to seize and wrestle Lagos and skew it towards the Yoruba moslems under the umbrella of NASFAT, the yoruba Islamic elite/political sect.

Go and check very well the key and core power structure in that state is embedded in that Nasfat Islamism.

At one point under former Governor Fashola nearly all the local government and local government development council chairmen were all Moslems. It got so bad that one Anglican Bishop once questioned the former Governor Fashola if Lagos has been turned to an Islamic state. It was also under this Tinubu/Fashola reign that some other citizens mostly Igbos were deported and dropped at the head bridge in Onitsha. And what’s his record as he was over rated and promoted to the federal level? Simply dismal record.

Then came in Governor Akinwumi Ambode who committed a mortal sin by even dare trying to move Lagos away from Tinubu thuggery and brutality and returning to civility and the once melting pot it was, what happened he was removed by the same Tinubu. The symbolic and significant aspect of Tinubu return to gutter politics and devastation is the return of Agberos and motor park honorables to the saddle. On the environment the once effectively shut down trash dump site on Ojota bypass into Lagos that perennialy spew highly polluted fumes was effectively reopened by the Tinubu new puppet Gov. Sanwolu soon after he took office. Once again endangering the lives of the Lagosians.

Anyway, let’s fast forward to where they have been elevated to the federal level. These same gang members have presided over the affairs of this nation for the past five to six years; so what’s the verdict?? ARE WE BETTER TODAY THAN WE WERE SIX YEARS AGO? before the same Tinubu tilted the odds in favour of the waning Fulani power base and returned a proven former dictator and other Islamist cabal to power, effectively doing to the people of Southern Nigeria predominantly Christians what he did to the Original indigenous Lagosians in Lagos state. Relegating or attempting to relegate Southern for his political ambition and material greed.

What’s the score card for the elusive Vice President, Fowler the FIRS among others he took to the center. They are all part of the disaster that Nigeria has turned out to be. Is that anything to celebrate? Or simply only on Nigeria?

But here on the project of his Presidential ambition he will most likely receive the reward for his selfish political brinkmanship. The people of Southern Nigeria will remind him of his stewardship from their own perspective and experience.

Anyway, the verdict is out there and still playing out on how history and posterity will judge Asiwaju Tinubu Ahmed. The opinion of the deeply flawed political class and the pedestrian ignorant disciple will not count. Neither will the verdict of those driven by chop me I chop politics and mindset count, regardless of how many academic degree they present.

They are all part of an era that destroyed once a promising nation.

It Is The Global ColdGame Isn’t It ?

-Chris O. Maduka

Infact, what this former British diplomat disclosed in that video clip is just a snippet of what can still be revealed about the intrigues and the clandestine operations of the Industrialized world.

All these are consistent with the Mission statement of the Trilateral commission and council on foreign relations to some extent.

It is about preserving the global economic order that was put in place even before the emerging African nations and other parts of the world became independent.

It simply stipulated that Anything or entity that will prove an impediment towards the free flow of the global economic order will be removed or taken out of the way. This has been fate faced by so many African leaders that dare think independently, or act in African interest.

The industrialized world are basically United on this outlook and resolve as they have factored in the sustainability of the current order regardless of how lopsided it is or how ot placed others at a disadvantage, they’ve factored it into their financial and strategic outlook and plans.

A clear indicator of this is the way some of the global fiancial markets from Tokyo to New York reacts or responds to marginal rise in the price of crude oil with the kind of shockwaves it sends to their economy.

Then let’s also look at institutions actually established to serve specific purposes and make positive impacts, how they were retooled to key into these vision of preserving the global inequalities and lopsided interdependency. The bank of Reconstructions established to rebuild Europe devastated by the second world war became International Monetary funds. I wish we have the time to reprint how David Malpass formerly in Late President Reagans Economic team and currently serving under President Trump, how he described IMF.

It is amazing that so many people have not realized what I’ve come to describe as the ultimate; COLDGAME! Played through these institutions. For those who blame those that often admire Trump, part of that admiration is the way he has simply disagreed with these established institutions that have agenda that is inimical and runs contrary to the vision of Africa ever emerging from the current disadvantages. A case in point is his attitude toward the World health organization. What exactly does the world health organization want out of this pandemic?

We see it all over the world, especially in countries with strategic natural resources and terrible weak institutions. kept deliberately so for corruption to thrive and create dissonance that make fleecing of everything including human capital very easy.
That’s where nations like Nigeria, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Zaire, DRC with their huge huge natural resources and few others find themselves today.

The Nigeria case is a story for another day. But we’ve seen what President Obama administration meddling in the 2015 elections yielded. It has derailed a nation that turned a positive corner and was about to start making appreciable progress. Not there yet, but we were given the rope to hang ourselves in that election literally.

Besides the strategic natural resources, the strategic location of a particular nation can also be a curse for them as having natural resources. Look at the nations situated around the Horne of Africa look at those countries like Somalia. Go around the strait of Gibraltar, and the Western Sahara. The Suaze canal and Egypt and the historical battle and invasions. Panama Canal and General Noriega. Strait of Homuz by Lybia. Add the huge oil deals there and we know about President Gaddafi and how he ended. So many other gateways, including the area around the Caspian sea. Kazakhstan among others.

It has once been said that the interests and views of the Western world is their truth. There’s no fundamental truth. Look at even the clergy and the religious institutions are not left out. They are part of the cold game. Our own Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby is the biggest lobbyist and supporter of the Nigerian PMB government that other reputable institutions have concluded that they are anti religious freedom with the ambition of Islamic expansionism. So who’s interest is the Archbishop serving 🤷🏾‍♂

My hope is that our people, the People of Old Eastern Nigeria will step up their game in the global geopolitics and make bold, decisive and dispassionate case that we first of all understand the game and how the world works. And secondly, that we are ready to play the game in the right way. That’s what was missing in the 1967 outing. And that’s what doomed the Jonathan administration. He took his eyes off from the ball and the lobbyist and his opponents ate him raw.

To a certain extent, these guys in the Western world that drives nearly everything are not as smart as some of us often make them out to be.

Can you imagine it took the antics of one man, Al Chalabi the leader of Iraqi exiles to turn the tide against Saddam Hussein and the rest became a proverbial history.

I’ve also made it clear, that in the Nigerian struggle to find its bearing as the status quo is no longer sustainable, with so many actors and agitating groups claiming supremacy, I’ve opined that what will alter the Nigerian status quo will have little to do with the internal actors and ethnic jingoist we see today.

It will play out more like the Berlin Conference without the Input of Africans, yet the continent was partitioned based on the European imperialistic interests. So will be with Nigeria in no distance future. The reality of this simply informs the agitators to restructure their messages to reflect that reality going forward.

Because I see almost a similar thing with the future of Nigeria as it has now increasingly become a threat to global peace and security.

I have the same premonitions that the fate of Nigeria going forward may be tied to the way the emerging cold war between China and the Western allies in the post Covid-19 world plays out. On who’s side are you on? Are you going to be a collateral damage or a willing and natural ally with the West? Bearing in mind that it is not about being right or wrong, it is about beting on the right side of history.

Also it depends on how the leaders of the emerging allies. How they understood the prevailing clash of civilizations and their role in it. The last Obama administration read it completely wrong hence they embarked on so many misadventures as we saw in Nigeria in 2015 as this current leadership and everything it stands for has settled as part of their record.

Therefore, it is our duty to make the right strategic alliances and strike the right note and balance. The time is now!

Thank you.

How Much Do You Know President Donald Trump You Talk Much About

-OFA Akinnuoye

I have maintained my reservations on the happenings in the United States of America (USA) as a matter of principle.

My silence was deliberate. Not for cowardice but for the fact that I would want to be hypocritical, by using an analgesic Panadol for a neighbour’s headache!

While a bunch of unpatriotic, nepotic, tribalist-dictators, their corrupt stooges with their oppressive regimes are stealing, looting and degrading the humanity in my own people in my home nation, who am I to sit on Pilate’s throne, judging the first American Statesman in living history to call a spade by its real name, while hoodlums and Democrats sponsored thugs who turn peaceful and just protests into avenues to steal and vandalise, crying “crucify him” “crucify him” against a patriotic American leader who passionately love his most powerful nation in the world, the USA.

First, while all of you who criticise President Donald Trump have your legitimate rights to do so by international standard of rights, it is quite obvious that a lot of you do not know and won’t bother to find out the genuineness of each story you push out about Mr. Trump.
Particularly our African youth family and “surrogate” journalists who don’t read, research, investigate or verify anything, but merely regurgitate whatever comes from leftist fake news media about anyone, even with little or no idea of the authentic details about that person.

Second, the African societies, made up mostly of youths, could be likened to a Bluetooth audio speaker, made to be fed with voices and music transmitted from other devices relaying the same in verbatim with no consideration to facts, authenticity etc because it has been programmed to relay codes from other electronic sources only… a slave device. Sorry to say, this is how some of these youths function.

I am sure, a few of you, the impertinent and die-hard supporter the unturned half-baked, slavish and corrupt political systems in Africa; imposed over the African people by slave master nations (to whom your nations are indebted) would want to foamup and comment on why you remain in an invalid position for so long putting your blames on others who have no hands in your misfortunes and maladministration by your rulers.
Well, you’re welcomed. But before you foam, I have these questions for you.

Did you know that…

1. President Trump is a successful businessman with over 110 highly successful businesses worldwide. Owning virtual golf courses, cities and towns with business networks built by him around the world. He employed thousands of young people who work in these business outlets worldwide. Let me stop there for now.
Show the world who your African rulers are and what other sustainable sources of income they can show to the world. Mention the businesses they own if any, and how they owned those things.

2. President Donald Trump does not receive salaries as the President of the United States of America?
Your own leaders and their groups loot your future in a doomsday version.

3. President Trump remains the first sitting president whose children don’t smoke, drink alcohol, do drug, with each maintaining such decency in their own individual families as well?
Describe to me the children of those who rule you. Even few of them that they impose on you through political appointments, tell the world what they do that have benefited you and your families.

4. President Trump himself doesn’t drink, smoke, or drug? (Check his personal testimony on this from my previous posts).

5. President Trump overturned some of the decision that redefined marriage and family into an institutions in such an absurd and demoralising ways where same-sex marriage was legalised? (courtesy of your first African-American President Obama).
It got so bad that toilets here in New Zealand, Europe and many countries around the world became unisex without separate toilet rooms for male and female, UK and other countries made laws that allowed school boys to dress as a girl and vice versa, parents were encouraged to allow their children in primary school to take hormone enhancing treatment if the think they were in a wrong body, that is a boy could tell his mum that he felt he was a girl. That was all it took to change his natural sexual make-up in the years of Americas black president Obama (actually the policy says there’s no male and female). That was what came in to meet on assumption of office.

6. President Trump made a public proclamation affirming that marriage is a relationship between a man and a woman as set by God through the creation of both?
Ever since, Democratic Party in the USA and the human products of their deformed policies in that country and around the world have been asking for President Trump’s head in a charger-plate.

7. President Trump brohibits abortion, railed against it and stopped the US from sponsoring family planning clinic worldwide whose jobs were to terminate defenseless foetuses and babies before birth?

8. President Trump outlaws sodomy (the original word for gayism, lesbianism, beastiality etc) and stopped them from claiming special protection in the USA armed forces contrary to what used to be in the presidency of and with the support of your African brother, Obama?

9. President Trump brought back God into the White House, restored the sanctity of the church and other religions, reinstated Christmas and Easter in the United States?
The two festive seasons were removed in the Obama years as the black President of the US.
Today, even your African pastors and religious magnates are doing the same thing, trying to remove Jesus Christ from the Calendar and Almanac with their false teachings on Christmas and Easter, while they’re replacing Jesus Christ with themselves, marking their own various forms of birthdays and making names for themselves just as Obama. It is same spirit from same source.

10. President Trump has begun a relentless effort to decontaminate America of opioid menace that reached its peak under your African American president Obama?
Opioid epidemic in the US is multi-fanged problem declared as a national emergency being addressed by Madam Melania Trump and her team through inter school campaigns campaigns and agencies.

11. President Trump has revamped the American economy, bringing back lost jobs, creating new ones, engaging the black and other minority communities?
Do your research to know that Trump has more minority employees working in his companies and businesses than any in the USA.
In former president Obama days, black Americans were top among the jobless, highest number of hand-out receivers, highest in social benefit claims, black cities were highest in crime rates in many American cities etc. Yes, that was the record in the days of the America’s Black President Obama.

12. President Trump has fulfilled over 98% of his campaign promises to the American youths, the veterans, the elderly, the disabled, getting rid of miscreants who were only allowed by opposing politicians who needed these undocumented and exploited people in the US to boost polls and votes during elections? He has secured American borders against gang and drug-related migration, he renegotiated trade agreements with China, India, Mexico and Canada etc to allow fair play, bringing China on her knees and sanctioning her for economic and intellectual property espionage among other things (Check my previous posts on the achievements of Trump in two years.
Tell me what your country leaders have done in your entire life. Maybe the little you could remember is China and Indians taking over your continent, sold to them by your unpatriotic rulers. Your leaders are taking loans for projects they won’t spend the money on, selling their countries and citizens into generational captivity through corruption and unrestrained bad loans, promising you the same thing every election year, no road, no electricity, no jobs, no ideal health facilities and standards, collapsed educational system etc.

Now tell me why you think worse things than what happened in the USA are not happening in your country. Tell me why some of you failed to address that log of timber in your eyes and you suddenly became an activists on other people’s matter.

Tell me why you thought yourself having the integrity on matters relating to human rights while the rights of humans in your country have been inhumanely violated.

I may not know much as you do, I only want to hear from you, why you thought that Pontius Pilate, by washing his hands and not his hate-filled heart of evil compromises with evil practices going in his country, could think he’s free from innocent blood of the Messiah he helped kill.

Tell me then if you now think you’re sincerely free from the guilt and blood of your fellow citizens killed, raped, abducted/kidnapped by terrorists acting in the name of region and tribal sentiments, while you look away to alk on the USA.

Tell me why you can’t talk in the face of politically motivated injustices and unlawfully detentions and prosecution of voices of reason and dissent in your country

Tell me why you keep quiet as a journalist with no idea of how to investigate the incompetence of your nations rulers.

Tell me why they call you a lazy youth and you truly confirm it by kneeling to beg for bread at the feet of your oppressors.

Tell me why you justify the looting going on in America, I want to believe it’s because you live in a country where looting is an official culture.

Tell me why the killers of our brother George Floyd is more evil than the killing of the CAN chairman, Christians, Muslims, traditionalists and all other citizens of your country killed and maimed by terrorists in your country. Then you remain silent! Really?

Tell me why American black brothers’ lives matter more than those of Leah Sharibu, all kidnapped female victims of terror and rape in my root nation, Nigeria.

Tell me that Vera and other rape and brutally murdered Nigerians including those suffering from sexual and gender related abuses do not deserve to be heard?

Tell me why you didn’t stand up to speak against nepotism and lopsided appointments, an evident synonym of RACISM in your country.

Tell me why you are spoilt with the conspiracy of silence when your nieces, sisters, moms and grandmas are being violated in your villages, your brothers, uncles and fathers killed by militia who display lethal military grade weapons and occupy their land and raid their farmlands.

Tell me why you should now become an American freedom fighter by proxy, replaying the news track like a scratched compact disk (CD).

Please Let’s face our business.
We have a lot of responsibilities to Africa and her people.

Get your leaders to get low standard of education and delapidated infrastructure fixed.

Get them to fix your broken health system they don’t use.

Get them to fix your roads that are virtual death traps.

Get them to be responsible and accountable.

Let’s get our churches and leaders to preach to our leaders. Let them spend less time on our generalising the sins of our nation as if they were the products of the common Nigerian people while they give the high tables to those who need their church to boost election data only.

Let’s be responsible citizens with unison of purpose

President Trump is a patriotic American, hated by the recloned creatures in the upside-down World at large including some of the world body and agencies… Those who have held the world to ransome with dangerous, politically DIScorrect political and personal agenda and policies holding the youths of the word to ransome of moral decadence. Those who know no REAL DIFFERENCE between GOOD and EVIL.
President Trump has been sent by God at a time like this. He has called out the devil in World leaders.
He won’t stop doing it and we won’t stop supporting him.
We are not alone, God is with us.

How Ajumobi Died After He Was Scamed #50million On Sick Bed

Even At Death, Senator Ajimobi Was Defrauded N50m Remivir Fake Drugs For Treatment of COVID-19

The last days of former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi, who died on Thursday at First Cardiology Hospital in Lagos following Coronavirus complications, were devoid of peace as he was defrauded of N50m right on his sickbed.

Ajimobi was rushed to the hospital weeks ago after his health deteriorated significantly and soon slipped into a deep coma he never recovered from until he passed away on Thursday.

In the period doctors were battling to save his life at the Lagos hospital, family members desperate to keep him alive reached out to a handful of Nigerians they knew abroad to help get a sizeable quantity of Remivir to be administered on him.

Manufactured in Bangladesh, the antiviral drug was previously tested in humans with Ebola virus disease and has shown promise in treating severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) caused by Coronavirus, according to United States National Institutes of Health.

First, the assignment for the search for the drug was given to a Nigerian in Texas, United States, to see if he could help get it.

After days of contacting several trusted persons for the ‘project’, he gave up the search as the tight monitoring of the drug by the US government made it almost impossible for it to be moved out of hospitals.

The $50,000 paid was returned after another search for the drug in a hospital in Los Angeles, California, did not also materialise.

The hospitals contacted had only limited dose of the drugs, which is closely monitored by the US authorities desperate to stop the rising number of deaths related to Corona virus.

After failing to get the drug in the US, members of Ajimobi circle turned attention to Bangladesh were it is being produced.

A Nigerian assured them of getting the needed quantity of Remivir to administer on the ex-Oyo governor and help save his life.

Subsequently, a jet and N50m was dispatched to the Asian country for the purchase and delivery but sadly the drugs procured by the Nigerian man was all fake.

He pocketed large chunk of the money and left the former governor to battle for his life at the Lagos hospital where for at least one week he was on a life support machine before he eventually died.

“All our guys here in the United States couldn’t risk it because of the war act invoked by President Donald Trump that the drug should not get out of America.

“It is something I was involved in from the beginning. In fact, we gave $50,000 to one of our Nigerian guy who is a doctor in Los Angeles but he returned the money. He said the hospital had only 100 dose and everything was monitored on how it is used.

“But one Nigerian guy defrauded them after claiming he could get it in Bangladesh.

“They sent a flight and paid about N50m but the drug they got from him was fake,” one of those privy to the search for the drugs told Sahara Reporters.

It was gathered that the disappointment from that development further added to the pain of those close to the former governor, who passed away at the age of 70 on Thursday.

Arrest Fulani Herdmen First Before Calling For Mine – Sen. Abaraibe

Senator Abaribe breaks silence over arrest, says “Those calling for my arrest should first go and arrest Fulani herdsmen”

The Senator representing Abia North at the Red Chamber, Distinguish Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has break silence, reply those calling for his arrest to first go after Fulani herdsmen.

It could be recalled that earlier this month, Senator Abaribe granted a media interview where he affirmed to vote for the Sovereignty of Biafra if the need arises and the video was said to have gone viral all over the internet.

Since then, the President’s media aides had taken to the internet to call for the immediate arrest of Senator Abaribe over that interview, stating that it’s against the rules and regulations of Nigeria that a serving Senator should be supporting a group proscribed as terrorist group by the President of the country.

Senator Abaribe in reiteration asked them to first of all go after the Hausa Fulani herdsmen scattered all over the country and arrest them all before they could call for his arrest.

According to him, “It’s quite unfortunate that we found ourselves in a government that has no respect for constituted authorities. It’s unfortunate that the Muhammadu Buhari media aides has now taken power from the President to call for immediate arrest of a Distinguish Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

A common media aide and the President will not say anything, after all I’m not surprised because whatsoever happens in this country, he is not aware and how will he be aware that his media aides has taken power from him. I weep for this country.

“Those his media aides are not seeing the evil that are being perpetrated by the Hausa Fulani herdsmen all over Nigerian, killing and raping our women and as a senator representing my people, you want me to keep quiet. Of course that will not happen.

“As for the IPOB issue that made those unelected media aides to call for my arrest, i have no regret over the interview. Tell me one single person an IPOB member has killed in this country and I will show you the graves of thousands of lives that has been sent to an early grave by Hausa Fulani herdsmen, yet the President doesn’t want to say anything.

“I am an Elder and an Igbo man and I cherish my foundation and will not do anything to hurt my people. Igbos are the most successful tribe in Nigeria because of our hardworking. If other Elders in Igbo land can be bought over as a result of their political ambitions to kill their own children and tagged them terrorists because they want freedom, I Senator Abaribe will not be part of it.

“The day they proscribed IPOB a terrorist group, when we get to the Senate I was the one who raised a motion against it and stood firmly against it at the Senate Chamber. You don’t expect me to be there while you proscribed my own children who can’t hurt a fly a terrorist while living yours who kill people everyday at will to walk around freely.

“If you want to arrest me for telling you the truth, then first of all go after all the Hausa Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria, arrest them all, go after Boko Haram, arrest them because all these evil terrorists groups are all from the North. When this is done, I will freely hand over myself to your police”

Man Lay Inside Grave He Dug for Payment Refusal

See What This Man Did After They Refuse to Pay Him For the Grave He Dug.

The man lying in the grave is not actually deceased. He is the person who dug the grave, he was not paid and during the burial ceremony, he jumped into grave saying no burial until his full amount is paid with interest.
It was a serious drama as everyone at the burial ceremony started pleading with the guy to respect the dead and stand up from the grave.

The man insisted that he will not leave the grave until his money is complete because he worked tirelessly just to ensure the grave was dug.

The mourners and family members at the burial ceremony have to contribute the money for the guy before he finally leaves the premises.

Many have blasted the man for using such an approach to get his money, they said he disrespected the dead in the process.

Others said there is nothing wrong with his actions because the deceased family members refused to compensate him for the work he did at that’s the only way he could get the money.

What do you think about his action? Right or wrong?

Why Two Igbo Brothers Died Same Way In Indonesia

The Igbo man that died in Indonesia failed to learn from his elder brother who died the same way

This week a painful news broke out that a Nigerian man by name Chike died in Indonesia after falling from off the ninth floor of his residence.

Chike, resides at Gading Nias apartment in Kelapa Garden Central Jakarta, Indonesia. When he heard the information that the Indonesia immigration where on there way to his apartment, he tried to escape through the window of his apartment. Unfortunately for him, he could not hold the window for long, and he fell to his death.

This same scenario played last 3 months. His elder brother that brought him to Indonesia also fell from his apartment window when he tried to escape from same Indonesia police. This time the younger brother died. Chike failed to learn from what happens to his brother and it has caused him his life.
Why go to a country and stay illegally, only to end up dying painfully?

Alleged Defection Of 10 PDP Governors To APC Unfounded says Tanbuwal

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Governors’ Forum, has reacted to a statement by Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello that 10 governors from the party are set to defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

In a statement made available to POLITICS NIGERIA, signed by the DG of the forum, HID Maduabum, Bello’s statement was a ‘diversionary tactic’ to shore up the ‘sagging morale’ of the APC.

“The PDP Governors’ Forum under the leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, hereby debunks as unfounded, the allegation by the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello while featuring in an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Friday night, that about 10 governors under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are set to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).”

“This statement does not merit any response but for the fact that it may demoralise PDP members and Nigerians who are not aware of the facts.”

“It is obvious that this is a diversionary tactic to shore up the sagging morale of APC members who are ruing the loss of yet another state Governor, Godwin Obaseki of Edo State to the PDP, as a result of the chaos and anarchy currently existing in the APC, following the mismanagement of their affairs as acknowledged even by Mr President, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.”

“The PDP Governors are very focused on delivering good governance and the benefits of democracy to their respective states and working tirelessly to strengthen and reposition the party.”

“There is no attraction whatsoever for any PDP member not to talk of a PDP Governor to join the APC, a party bedevilled by crises, without even an elected leadership as envisaged by Section 223 of the 1999 Constitution that specifically requires the Executive Committee of every political party in Nigeria to be democratically elected.”

“We advise His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello, to concentrate on providing good governance to the people of Kogi State.” the statement read.

A Strange Animal I Killed Landed My Landlady To Hospital And Library Me From Poverty

Wonders they said shall never end, a young man narrates how he killed a strange animal and her fortune turned back to him in Edo State. Below is his account.

Hello there,my name is Peter and I am a resident of Benin in Edo state.I have been living in a rented apartment for four years now.

One day,I got involved in an argument with my landlady over increase of house rent. We argued because I refused to let her increase my house rent.

Since that argument,I felt as if my landlady became very angry with me as she didn’t want to talk to me or even greet me anymore.

Before this Corona Virus, I had a well paying job and a dependable income but immediately the pandemic spread to the state, I lost my job.

Since I lost my job, life has been very difficult for me. I couldn’t even eat a proper meal,my electricity was disconnected just because I didn’t have any money to foot the bills. My girlfriend also left me because i couldn’t give her money like before.

After she left,I became very devastated and I grew tired of life with each passing day.

But something was telling me that I shouldn’t give up just yet, so i still relented. Even at that, things grew worse as my debts started building up. I tried alot of ways to make money but none of them was substantial.

So last week, I was sitting on my bed when i heard some movements underneath it. At first I ignored the sound but with time time it grew louder. So when I bent down to see what was making the sound, a strange animal jumped at my face.

I quickly stood up and run outside, after which I went to call my neighbors. Then they came and brought out the creature.

They were shocked to see the animal in my house because I live in an urban area, hence there isn’t any bush near it. So after we caught it, I took my machete and killed it.

But immediately I cut the animal,my landlady started screaming from inside her house. After which she had to be rushed to the hospital, Since then my phone has been buzzing with calls from people asking me to come for employment.

My girlfriend has returned to apologise to me for leaving me earlier, everything is booming now.

It’s been three days that my landlady has been hospitalized and she’s been asking me to come and see. I don’t want to go and see her because I am still angry over the argument we had earlier.

APC’s Decision Not Targeted At Undermining Tinubu – Gov. Bello.

Considering the ongoing crackdown on the national body of the ruling Party in Nigeria APC, which has seen the National Working Committee (NWC) dissolved few days and the National Chairman of the Party and former Governor of Edo State Adams Oshiomole sacked has continued to generate mixed feelings as to weather it is a witch-hunt to some party leaders. Some said is a ploy to humble the Apex leader of the party Bola Tinubu, while others are saying it’s healthy for the party to survive. In his reaction the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, said the decision to remove former National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomole and other NWC members was not targeted at undermining the influence of the APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu. He said the decision was to bring peace to the party.
Governor Bello said this while featuring as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today, on Friday.
He said: “The assertion that some governors decided to create the crisis in the party is unfounded. We can’t demolish a house that we built. Oshiomole did not offend anyone and nobody offended Oshiomhole.“Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a leader, a father, a founding member of this great party. He contributed immensely to making sure that the party attains the height it has attained today. He has paid his due and continues to pay his due,” he said.“Nobody, however highly placed or lowly placed you are in the party, will ever undermine that great leader. Nobody is undermining him. He is still a father; he’s one of our national leaders and he continues to contribute.“In the whole of this misunderstanding so far, nobody has heard him making any comments for or against anybody that has different or opposing opinions. Rather, he continues to maintain and play that fatherly role. Both APC and PDP gravitate towards him.
“So, nobody is going to say that he’s being undermined or he’s going to be removed. No. We need him; he needs us and he will continue to be a leader of our great party.”Governor Bello added that the dissolution of the National Working Committee and other decisions reached at the National Executive Council meeting of the party on Thursday made the APC stronger.
According to Bello, the progress that has been achieved by the APC will be proved in the coming elections in Edo, Ondo, Anambra, Ekiti, Osun states. He said, “APC is getting stronger, and like I said, it’s going to be proved in the next few days or the next few weeks to come in the election of Edo, Ondo, Anambra, Ekiti, Osun states.
“It’s unfortunate that our colleague, my brother, and my in-law, Obaseki has left us, but as a party and a party-loyal man, we have to reclaim him.
“I can tell you that there are up to 10 PDP governors ready to join APC and that would happen very soon.”
Bello also debunked claims that the APC will fall apart when President Muhammadu Buhari, leaves office, saying those with such notions “are making a great mistake”.Online source

Reformation: No State Is Safe, Secure Anymore – Obasanjo

Former President of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has lamented on the level of insecurity in Country saying “No part of the country is safe, secure Anymore.

The Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo said insecurity is one issue common to Nigerians, regardless of tribe, language, religion, location, gender, age or social position.

He noted that without reforming the federating units, Nigeria would remain insecure, unstable, unprogressive, stagnated and, at worst, disintegrate.

Obasanjo spoke on Friday at this year’s edition of the Sobo Sowemimo Annual Lecture organised by Abeokuta Club. The event was titled, “COVID-19 and the Nigeria security issues: The way forward.”
He added, “Let me lay more emphasis on the issue of security, which in itself is serious enough to make restructuring imperative.

The South-West governors cried out and devised Amotekun as a solution or part-solution. We have yet to see how successfully that will be operated. Other zones are clamouring for a solution because in no state and in no geopolitical zone is life and property safe and secure.

“Criminality is the order of the day. And it cuts across the entire nation. Insecurity is one issue of commonality among Nigerians, no matter their tribe, language, religion, geographical location, gender, age or social position.’’
He recalled that the Northern Elders’ Forum, through its spokesperson, Akeem Baba Ahmed, had declared President Buhari a failure on account of persistent insecurity within the nation.
The former president stated, “I leave out economy which is in the doldrums and fighting corruption where you see more heat than light and which is festering like a bad sore. That, to me, is what reform of federating units and restructuring is all about and not about break-up or disintegration.

Insecurity brought about by widespread criminality of Boko Haram, insurgents, herdsmen/farmers conflict, terrorists, bandits, armed robbers, militants, kidnappers, abductors and human traffickers is a new phenomenon that is ravaging the entire country.’’

According to Obasanjo, it is evident that no ethnic group or geopolitical zone and even the Fulanis in Nigeria are collectively satisfied with the present situation in spite of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), being a Fulani man.
“I am, of course, discounting invidious and irredeemable Fulani fundamentalists and hegemonies. Federal security architecture, as organised and operated by the present government, cannot give any individual or group hope, let alone assurance of security within Nigeria,’’ Obasanjo noted.

He further said that from the beginning of June, there had been agitations and protests of a revolutionary nature in Mali.

Covid-19 May Force Lagos, Ogun States To Extend Continue Lock Down

As the world is trying to come out lockdown which the outbreak of Covid-19 forced them into early this year, many States in Nigeria are still finding it difficult to ease the lockdown because of the increase in number of victims on daily basis.

According to NCDC reports the number of people testing Positive to the Pandemic is rising by day just as number of deaths increases too.
According to online report Lagos, Osun threaten fresh lockdown as cases hit 23,298.

Lagos and Osun state governments have threatened fresh lockdowns amid increasing COVID-19 cases in the states and the country.

Fresh 684 COVID-19 cases were recorded in 18 states and the Federal Capital Territory on Friday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, bringing the total number of cases to 23,298.

While 8,253 discharged patients had recovered, 554 deaths were recorded.
Lagos, Oyo, and Kastina had the highest number of cases at 259, 76 and 69, respectively. Delta, Rivers had 46; Ogun, 23; Edo, 22; Osun, 22; and Ebonyi, 21.
FCT had 20; Kaduna, 16; Ondo, 10; Imo, 9; and Abia, 9. Gombe had 5; Plateau, 4; Bauchi, 4; Ekiti, 2; and Anambra, 1.

Due to the rising number of cases each day, Lagos and Osun state governments have threatened fresh lockdowns if the people failed to abide by government protocols such as social distancing and wearing of face masks in the public.

Speaking at a media briefing monitored by one of our correspondents on Friday, the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi, said even though the state had been able to draw a balance between the public health crisis and ensuring livelihoods were not in jeopardy, the government would not hesitate to impose another lockdown if the things (cases) got out of hands.

“We believe we are managing a delicate balance between the public health crisis and the economic livelihood of Lagosians. If things are getting out of hand, we will certainly consider another lockdown,” he said.
The commissioner added that the state had yet to reach the peak, noting that cases would continue to rise in the next one or two months.

What Igbos Failed To Do With Nollywood Is What The Yoruba Nation Is Doing With The Press.

By: Reno OmokiriThree nights ago, I was at the reception of Wishdern Hotel Gboko, Benue state and heard the discussion of some guys in response to a Nollywood movie going on the screen. I was saddened.First of all, thank you Nollywood for showcasing our creative capacity and ability to create an industry out of nothing…. but enough of your poor presentation and representation of Igbo industry and enterprise. An average Igbo does not travel to Lagos or Abuja and meet his friend Emeka who introduces him to a secret cult where he makes money….An average Igbo I know sometimes start a business, sleeps in the shop, eats twice and sometimes once in a day, struggles over the years to raise a capital base for his business. An average Igbo I know struggles with a little money in his cash flow, travels to Lagos on night buses…. to save money and time in order to buy his goods to sell to his customers…..after so many years of doing this, his consistency will start paying off.An average Igbo I know graduates even from medical school, do two jobs a day, refused to buy latest cars like his friends because he is saving up money to start a clinic or travel abroad for better opportunities.Etc etc…Why is Nollywood stuck in this ritual nonsense that is a false representation of our people? Why is Nollywood consistent in painting a foolish narrative that is working against the Igbo reputation? Is Nollywood fully controlled by culture and identity illiterates? What sort of nonsense is this? Why is Nollywood not making more of Genevieve Nnaji’s kind of LION HEART that showed Igbos in the fullness of their enterprise and business wits, why?Why is Nollywood reducing our enterprise to an utopian ritual money which does not exist anywhere? Why?Some years back, I have defended Nnewi people like I am from there, when some Nigerians, including many Anambra people that does not understand the “wealth magic” of Nnewi people, they attributed it to rituals, this is common with Africans, they explain away things they are too lazy to study and understand and attribute it to an unseen force. What Nnewi people enjoyed from the beginning was a kind of networking via apprenticeship and brotherly wealth redistribution…. It gave them edge in business and they succeeded massively…. It would later spread to the rest of Anambra and gradually the rest of Igbo land.Note, even most Anambra folks originally talked ignorantly and foolishly against Nnewi people, later other Igbos talked ignorantly about Anambra and then, the rest of Nigerians talked ignorantly about Igbos.Don’t give negative ignorant explanation to a concept you should be learning. The guys I saw at Gboko in response to the movie they were watching believed that Igbo people uses charm to make money and succeed in their business, they mentioned few names in Gboko and how their businesses are doing well, they believed it is not ordinary.I was pained because I have had that argument more that 5 times in Benue alone….the most annoying one is when a fellow PG student of a federal university was peddling that nonsense about using charms to succeed in business. Before I blame others for their stereotypes, I will heap the blame largely on NOLLYWOOD who are bent on defining our industriousness with a silly, utopian, stupid and abstract stories of making money via rituals. It is nonsense….this damage has gone on for years and we need urgent and far reaching education for the script writers, directors, producers and all the stake holders in Nollywood film making. The culture misrepresentation is so huge that we don’t know what we are doing to the unborn generation, Nollywood is creating narratives that would define a generation that will be too shocked to know why they are being profiled. Can I tell the Igbos the truth, with NOLLYWOOD, it is actually stupid crying that we don’t control the press, you can’t be controlling an industry that is as ADDITIVE as movie making with higher and sustained international appeal without using it to push your identity rightly.Nollywood should think beyond making money with their simplistic and monotonous story lines that is hurting us, enough of that nonsense already….because the first movie, LIVING IN BONDAGE had a setting that talked about rituals, for decades, you are stuck there helplessly?America for decades used movies to sustain their perception as global super powers and good guys…..the bad guys are always Russians and Arabs….this is to show you what nations can achieve even through entertainment. The “new friends” I met in Gboko, I did my best to explain to them how many Igbos spend 5,10,20 years of hunger and wearing almost few trousers and shirts building businesses only for it to be reduced to ritual money once they say let them relax a little….maybe, buy a small Lexus, build small duplex somewhere and send their children to fairly good school.Nollywood is lying, greater number of Igbos running and doing businesses across the world have not seen how a native doctor look like neither do they belong to any secret cult where money is being vomited for them…. that nonsense is the figment of NOLLYWOOD’s imagination and need to stop.NB: I will constantly speak now in correction of ignorant stereotyping of Igbos…..my reason is simple, the generation of our fathers kept quite when everyone started the lies of IGBOS LOVING MONEY….. but a critical look on how Nigeria was plundered and stolen to death will show you that Igbos did not even make 3rd eleven in the national LOOTING league. Those their Ex general and army fathers, uncles, cousins stole and wasted Nigeria’s future still point at an average Emeka struggling against racism in China while trying to engage in his businesses as the one who loves money. I CAN’T KEEP QUIET. This is a duty for the next generation.Copied

What is your take?

For About 45mins Police Officers Were Slapping Me

By: Osai Ajigho

“Two of the four policemen engaged in slapping me one by one and beating me. Another two joined in beating me up when they heard I was filming what they were doing.” – A journalist who was arrested and tortured for filming police brutality told Amnesty researchers.

This could have happened anywhere. From the streets of Minneapolis in America, to the favelas of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, unlawful use of force by police can end in death, injury, and devastation.

But this particular journalist suffered the full force of police brutality closer to us, in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, where, the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, or SARS, has become an infamous unit of the Nigerian police force.

For years, Amnesty has been documenting and calling out police brutality in the region. Now, we turn our focus to SARS and join the decade-long public calls to shut down this Nigerian police unit, in our report published today

Hushpuppi The Most Wicked Criminal On Earth Begs For Pity

By: Enwerem Chukwuka

I just watched the video of internet scammer, Hushpuppi’s arrest by the Dubai Police in the famed Operation Fox Hunt 2 and I am very annoyed.

The bastard after bringing continental disgrace to us, giving us bad names, flaunting ill gotten wealth proudly, stepping on people’s face with impunity and throwing over 1 million people into untold hardship and sadness, have the guts to look pitiful in the video.

I get easily annoyed whenever I see a mindless criminal acting remorseful. Why would you do that?

You didn’t steal to fill your belly or anything like that, rather, you live with the clear intention of hurting others again and again yet once you’re caught you dare try to appeal to the empathic nature of the world.

Now, a lot of people are already feeling sorry for him despite the magnitude of his crime.

Was that idiot thinking that he could con the world then grow old peacefully and have his grandchildren sitting round him while he tells them tales by moonlight?

I do not want to believe that he’s that senseless. Any human being with half of his brain functioning would know that no matter how far you run, where you hide, you can’t get away if you’re truly wanted.

Even the almighty Escobar was caught. So who sold the illusion to that fat idiotic loudmouthed bastard that he’s got some safe haven in some luxurious hotel in Dubai? Who sold him the bad weed he was smoking?

This guy underated his influence; he has no idea what he has done to the streets of Nigeria, leaving millions of gullible followers scattered everywhere, all who have become potential societal threats.

I watched one movie where the leader of a gang said to his men, “I know we would die. I know we would eventually be caught, but hopefully, it won’t be today or tomorrow.”

Look at the famous Ted Bundy when he was caught. He was busy releasing quotes from all angle, waving to the crowds, smiling at the camera, trying to escape from every prison and owning his shit with pride. No wonder he is liked unlike some idiots that spend their entire life doing crimes only to start acting like a rat that fell inside gutter once they’re caught.

Hushpuppi should start smiling at the police men, waving to us and releasing his usual daily motivational quotes rather than wearing the sorry look of a hungry poor boy who stole a loaf of bread.
Anu ohia!

Many George Floyds Have Been Killed Even In Nigeria

Call it Racism, Wickedness, Hatred, Jungle Justice or anything else; but one thing that is sacred is Life. Because it is the only One entity which God has the monopoly of creating and giving. It is a simple primordial command that you don’t take away what you cannot replace. Yet that’s what seems to be the case as the world has lowered its sense of outrage.

And He(God) instructed us not to take another’s life, which was why Cain was punished by God according to Genesis 4:1-19.

There are many other people who suffered in the scripture because they took other people’s lives. So even if one gets away with such contravention here on earth, they may not get away with it where it all matters. Because as late Justice Aniagolu reminded us, no matter how long any one of us might live, we shall all be dead way longer than we shall ever live .
Wow! Very profound and something to really ponder on.

Other people that have the power to take lives of convicted individuals such the Government, just as Pilate and other kings(Leaders) in the Bible also condemned Jesus (though not a criminal), is a different kind of standard and understanding. Even at that, we must still be very circumspect to ensure that miscarriage of justice does not happen. Is that not why Pontus Pilate’s dutifully warned him, not to have hands in that man’s (Jesus) persecution. Yet, the world still held him accountable and why? Because in his position as the king he had certain leverage and influence, but he chose not to use to save an Innocent man. So you too that saw or knew and refused to speak out or prevent such injustice must be held accountable. Because justice will not be served until those who are not affected are as outraged as those who were. We are all connected by the thread of our shared humanity.

So everyone has the right to live even the unborn ones. The killing of Goerge Floyd a black American by the police just because they were called to come and arrest him by a super market attendant that he attempted used fake currency to make payment of items(food) he bought which after he was murdered that allegation turned out to be false. But the irreversible damage has been done. They’ve taken what they can’t replace . If America in their might can replace George Floyd they would’ve opted to do that. So that they can rest easy once again. But they can’t and that’s the point here.

Instead of arresting, interrogating and put him on trial and if found culpable send him to prison or give other sanctions, they killed him in a barberic manner that depict the hatred on particular race just because they are Blacks.

Nobody made the choice of race. Blacks didn’t make themselves Black, the same Creator that made black made white people, and there is no white without Blacks in the sequence or genealogy of things.
Anyways a story for another day.

My concern here is the protest that followed the death of this Gentleman Floyd by people all over the world and even my dear country Nigeria.

There were protests in Abuja, Lagos and some other states of the federation to condemn the barberic way he was killed.

But incase these people protesting during the lockdown has forgotten that there are many Floyds killed in most barberic way in Nigeria also by security agents that have equally been psychologically programmed to keep eye on certain regions and certain ethnic groups

Police have killed many Nigerians’, pregnant mothers, Youths, Teenagers and Children. They have rendered many children fatherless, motherless, brotherless, sisterless(in my terms) and many more as such.

The number of killings made by the police earlier lockdown has since outnumbered the death by the Covid-19 victims, just talking of the victims of their brutality.

Yet in all these no single protest, not even on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms. Our people who should’ve saved their tears for the evil they exist under are shedding it for the distance injustice which is ok. But they should save some for their own injustice.

Because people are being killed almost on daily basis by security agents, innocent people that are going about their lawful businesses and no one has been arrested and most of the few arrested are busy going their business freely, few that we were told was arrested we have not heard that any of them has been prosecuted or convicted!

Now the Big Question is: why are we not pretesting about these lives wasted and cut short??

Oh yeah!! because they are not in America or not American citizens or blacks. Let’s learn to do the first thing First! Charity they say begins at home. You cannot put more premium in another life than yours.

If we stage a serious protest like the one staged for Floyd for each Nigerian killed brutally don’t you think there will be a change of attitude by the security agents and government of the day??

As we pretest for George Floyd may we remember there are many Nigerian Floyds killed here and their Spirit still cries out for justice. The Apo 6 and the innocent victims of python dance on my mind.

To be continued….

Half Of The Story Has Never Been Told About…

By: Chris O Maduka

This is just a snippet of the accomplishment s of this proud son of Igboland. Died at the age 42 yet recorded monumental achievements. He was one of the 8 argonauts that left Nigeria and sailed West to the New world to further their education.

They were inspired by the Great Zik who had already completed his education in the United states.

The 8 argonauts were; Late Mazi Mbonu Ojike, George Mbadiwe, Kingsley Ozuomba Mbadiwe, Okongwu, Ikejiani, I forgot the names of the other two. Dr. Nwafor Orizu joined them in 1939 with great assistance from the Late J. Green Mbadiwe a millionaire Minner and Business Mogul from the same Arondizuogu that some Efulefu speak about with utter disrespect and condescending attitude. Story for another day.

But the truth of the matter is that without ARONDIZUOGU and the likes of late Mazi Mbonu Ojike who later became a columist with his weekly Catechism in the West African pilot newspaper established by the Late Rt. Hon Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, the journey towards the liberation of Nigeria from the shackles of colonialism would’ve been far much more challenging and would’ve taken far much longer to achieve.

Yet again, it was the philanthropic financial commitment of Late Chief J. Green Mbadiwe (OSU’OHIA OF ARONDIZUOGU) towards the establishment of the West African pilot Newspaper project that fast tracked the quest for independent of Nigeria.

How many people have heard of these men? But they will inundate us with the News of Pericoma, A great Icon by his own rights, but by far was not the beginning nor the end of Arondizuogu and Igbo greatness.

Am happy that the name of Mazi Mbonu Ojike came up here as we hardly celebrate our heroes past. We only use a fine tooth comb to dig and amplify any infractions. At times what we are basing these assertions on are opinions of misguided rivals or haters.

The image we are looking at the above was the visit to the then first lady of the United States Mrs Eleanor Roosevelt wife of President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1943. It was the
late Mazi Mbonu Ojike and Late Mazi K.O. Mbadiwe at the age of 25 yrs old. How many of the armchair critics can pull this off today?

So let’s be very circumspect on how we condemn or malign the characters of some of these men and women that did far much more for us than any one of the modern day cut throat politicians and leaders some of us have reduced ourselves to their town criers all in the name of partisan party loyalty.

Even if there were certain mistakes, the question that must he asked today is: WAS THAT MISTAKE AN IDEOLOGICAL BENIGN MISTAKE, or was it deliberate malicious mistake and to what end? Was it deliberate to undermine the Igbos, or was it an attempt to bake a bigger pie in which the Igbos will still have a clear advantage based on their doggedness and hard work.

This narrative of elevating Tribalist Awo and Sarduana over the vision of Zik is simply nauseating and even an exposure of certain level of ignorance.
To truly make a fair judgement on this matter, we need to dig deeper into what shaped the vision and ideology of those key political players from the Northern Region with the late Ahmadu Bello, Western Region with the Late Obafemi Awolowo and in the Eastern Region with the Late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe. Zik was clearly influenced with the American idiosyncrasy and unique world view. Both Awo and Sarduana lacked such exposure.

Now these men are held as Nationalist if am not mistaking🤷🏾‍♂But the truth is that both the Sarduana and Awo lacked the exposure and hence the vision the late Great Zik had for Nigeria. They were both core tribalist and made no apologies for that. On the other hand, Zik along with most of his other contemporaries and colleagues that were exposed to the great American experience had a vision of Great, United and strong Nigeria under God. What’s wrong with this vision? What if it had succeeded 🤷🏾‍♂.

Ok, I see why we blame Zik in retrospect. We blame him because Nigeria is a failed project. So the Revisionists mostly from the same SouthWest are bending and twisting history to portray core tribalists with their shared loathe and resentment of the Igbos as Heroes. No they are not. Not from the facts as they truly are. They were core tribalists with narrow vision of Nigeria.

How can they be when there’s a complete contradictions in actions when the opportunity presented itself for their wishes for regional Government based on tribal affinity to emerge, yet the same North and the people of the SouthWest led or misled by the same Awo opposed it following the pogrom and crises that followed the 1966 coup and counter coup. What happened to Araba!

It is all there in the Aburi agreement that was truncated by those who want to blame Zik for being a Narionalist when it truly made sense.

Even after the end of the war. Why was the Igbos still dragged back into the same entity that they earlier rejected.

The reason are simple; Both the Sarduana of Sokoto, and Awo’s earlier initial activism and preference for regionalism wasn’t borne out of such visionary disposition, but seem more like driven by their deep fear of Igbo dominance in the greater one Nigeria as advocated by the late Zik.

The second reason was the Oil factor. The full disclosure of oil deposits in the old Eastern Nigeria led to the war Mantra of: “TO KEEP NIGERIA ONE IS A TASK THAT MUST BE DONE”, under which they all fought including ironically the same Awo that many are citing as a Visionary leader, instead of a tricky and selfish leader he was.

They embarked on a genocidal civil war that took more than three million lives of the people of old Eastern Nigeria to keep Nigeria one?

They saw it then that all things being equal, they cannot compete effectively with the Igbos. So they sought for the arrangement that will mitigate this so called Igbo dominance from being a reality. This purported Igbo dominance if we may clarify this, does not imply the Igbos displacing anyone or taken over what they did not duly earn No! It is simply driven by fear and envy. It is driven by the clear inability to compete effectively as we have seen today where a child from Anambra requires the score of 139 to get into the Unity school, but a child from Yobe state requires to score 2 to get into the same school. Yet later in the years the child with the 2 single digit score will boss over the one with 139 score. Where in the world does such society so predisposed succeed?

Perhaps one day when sanity returns and the posterity wish to interrogate and probe deeper into why and how Nigeria was destroyed, they must probe further into this misguided fear of Igbo dominance that still rears its ugly heads till this day.

If anyone is in doubt of this, let them check the actions and inactions of the same Awo and the followers of the late Sarduana when they had the sufficient belief that the Igbos have been diminished and displaced. They started singing the mantra one Nigeria indivisible. They started branding the Igbos as unpatriotic because the project started by their forebears it turned out was a project doomed to fail with the British colonialist at the shadows as the shadow government.

The Igbos have always led, but no one follows. They see in the morning what others will later see in the evening. Even as we speak, history is repeating itself. The Igbos saw the 2020 Nigeria with their 20/20 vision years ago. But they were vilified and castigated.

Even when they attempted to take measures to protect themselves against the manifested threats from the herdsmen and certain dubious security operatives, they were confronted with the federal might. But then no sooner did the Amotèkun came on board to do exactly what the Igbos set out to do years before.

Not Every Thief Caught In The Act Is A Real Thief.

By: Japhet ProsperWhen my wife and kids told me that they would love to go to my brother’s house to spend the weekend and kill boredom, I did not hesitate to give it the nod because I also needed some quiet time alone in the house. I was working on a proposal that was to be submitted on Monday morning via email. The insistence by the company to send it via email was because of the restriction in the movement of people over the COVID 19 issue. My wife was a law enforcement agent and would not have any challenge navigating through the hundreds of checkpoints on the roads.
“Make sure you guys return on Monday,” I said as my wife led the kids out of the house. “I don’t want to hear stories.”
She chuckled. “There will be no stories. Please follow us to the junction so you can help me collect my clothes from the laundry man. He called to tell me that he would be waiting.”I would not have left the house that morning if she hadn’t said that. Outside the gate where Mubarak had a kiosk, I saw three young men smoking cigarettes and engrossed in a hearty conversation.
“Ina kwana,” Mubarak greeted us cordially. “This one that everyone is dressed ceremonially, I don’t think this is a short journey.”My wife nodded and smiled at him. “We will be back on Monday evening. Please put eyes on the house for us.”
He said he would. My wife hopped onto the driver’s seat and I sat beside her on the passenger’s side. My three kids giggled at one another as they occupied the back seat.Since her own car had had some mechanical fault and was taken away by the mechanic prior to the Corona virus pandemic, we had both been managing my own car. Carefully, she hurled the Toyota Corolla past Mubarak’s kiosk and honked. Mubarak had been a very good neighbour. He would keep an eye on the compound whenever we were not around. In return, the family had also treated him like a brother. The laundry man was not in the shop when we got there. My wife was furious because her uniforms were the clothes she had given him to wash. I decided to go and check on Tony at home. He was a very good friend whom I had learned a lot from. His own family had travelled as soon as the virus matter began and he had been all alone. He was glad to see me.We ate the food he prepared and watched a movie together. That took a long time. By the time I returned home in the evening, Mubarak had closed because it was about to rain. The sky was thick with a storm.
I opened the main door and closed it carefully. That door needed repairs but I hadn’t bothered to fix it. If you shut it from the inside without sticking a paper in it, it would be difficult to open from the inside.Someone would have to open it from the outside or else you would remain trap inside. Several times, my wife had reminded me about it but I didn’t just care because the house was usually never empty.
Because I was alone, I was careful to put a piece of paper in it before closing it. And because I had no plans of going to bed immediately, I didn’t bother to lock it with a key. Never in my wildest imagination did I think that a burglar would break into the house that night.I was watching the news on Aljazera when the lights went off. Soon, the rains began to hit the roof like pebbles thrown in hundreds from the sky. The wind too blew heavily like millions of giant birds flapping their wings.
I went into the bedroom and sleep found me there in no time. It was the shrill cry of a baby that woke me up later. The rain had stopped. Darkness still enveloped the sky. It was past one o’ clock in the morning.I began to wonder what was wrong with the child that was crying. Her voice tore miserably into the silence of the dark and made me feel very uncomfortable. What could be wrong with the child? I thought as I crept out of the bed towards the window.
The cry was coming from the house adjacent mine. It was a small building without a fence. In front of it was a rickety Golf car painted in taxi colours. Since I bought the house over a year and a half before, I hadn’t bothered to know who my neighbours were.I was still wondering why the baby was crying and disturbing the entire neighbourhood when I began to hear the sound of the front door opening. I wanted to scream but intuitively decided against that. The cry of the child continued to waft into my ears and I suddenly began to tremble. I hadn’t seen a thief in real life before. I had heard and read about how they attack people and maim or killed them just to get what they wanted.
What if this thief had a weapon? I thought miserably as I quietly docked behind my bedroom door. When the intruder began to tiptoe into the kitchen, I put my eye through the tiny opening between the door and its frame.I heaved a sigh when I saw that he was not armed. His silhouette figure moved in the dark like a walking tortoise. The light from his small phone led him into the kitchen. I wanted to scream now but something held me still; perhaps it was the fear of the unknown. I was paranoid now like never before. What if he had a pistol in his pocket? What if he had a dagger he’d kept by the door?
I was still wondering of what to do next when the burglar came out of the kitchen carrying a black polythene bag. The cry of the child from the house adjacent mine continued to waft into my ears. I felt creepy.Even though the weather was cold, I felt sweat drop from my forehead in rivulets. My palms too were damp with sweat. I hadn’t sweated like that before. This could happen to anybody who was alone with a thief in his house; a thief who could have been in possession of lethal arms.Suddenly, I heard him begin to hit the door and it struck me that he had just jammed the door without using the piece of paper. Certainly, he was trapped. I could hear him curse under his breath. Just then, the lights came on.
When he walked back into the kitchen and I saw that he was not armed, I came out of my hiding place.
“Who the hell are you and what are you doing in my house?” I thundered feigning courage. The fear in his eyes was palpable.“I..I..I, please sir!” his knees dropped on the tiled floor. His head was bowed and buried in shame. He could only stutter.
“You had better talk to me before I shoot you dead right now.”
He jammed his palms together and began to cry. “Sir, my name is Theophilus.I am not a thief. I have never stolen anything from anyone all my life. But if you could put your ears down right now, you’d hear the cry of a child. That’s my only daughter. She is a year and two months old. We have not eaten since yesterday morning. My wife bought Akara thirty naira for her yesterday morning and that was all she’s eaten since.I haven’t worked since this corona virus thing began because of the restriction in movement. I am a taxi driver. Even if the lockdown ends today, I still won’t be able to work because I have sold my car battery and bought food to feed my family with it last month.I heard from a friend that you people left the house and won’t be back until Monday. I couldn’t stand the cry of the child anymore so I decided to burgle your house to fetch her some food from here. She won’t stop crying until she gets something to eat. My wife too is crying helplessly in the house.I just couldn’t take it. I had to become a thief if only for tonight…”
He was crying as he spoke. I took the black polythene bag from him and my heart dropped when I saw the things he had stolen from the kitchen in it; three packs of noodles, half a loaf of bread, some milk powder in and beverages. My wallet which had about thirty five thousand naira in it was lying conspicuously on the chair.
Pointing at the wallet, I echoed; “Why didn’t you take the money or did you not see it?”
“I did,” he replied with his head still bowed. “It was the first thing I pointed the light from my phone at but I have no need of it. I came here to get something for my daughter to eat not to steal money.”A tear fell off my eye. I held his hands and told him to get up. “You are not a thief my brother. You are just a father whose love for his only child is without blemish. From the way you speak, I am certain that you are learned. But for the situation of the country, you would not have become a taxi driver. For your daughter’s sake, I will not do anything to you. Just call your wife to come here with the child so she could open the door for us from outside. That way, she could prepare something for her here to eat.”
Tearfully, he knelt down again and began to cry. He hadn’t airtime on his phone, I gave him mine and he called the wife with it. Before she arrived with the child, I had prepared beverage for the child while I let him cook some noodles for himself and the wife.
It was my turn to cry when the woman was feeding the child who was dragging the bread from her mother as if all her life depended on it. She wolfed down her beverage with the speed of light and as soon as she had had her feel, she crept into the arms of her father and immediately fell asleep. The parents had time to eat their noodles when the child had begun to sleep. By the time they were through, it was past two o’clock.I gave him all the money in my wallet and told him to buy and stuck his house with food with the money. When my wife returned with the children and I told her what had happened, she cried on end.
“We are just privileged. We are just lucky.” She broke down emotionally. “We cannot be this blessed by God and watch our neighbours suffer. We must help them.”
My wife was right.I bought Theophilus a new battery for his car and gave the wife the sum of two hundred thousand naira to start a crayfish trade. Sometimes, all that we need to completely eradicate crime isn’t to keep buying guns for the police, isn’t to keep pushing people into prison but just to lend a helping hand to our neighbours. If your neighbours are happy, you’d certainly be happy too.I have come to understand not every thief caught in the act is a real thief. I am glad that we were the source of their joy today and pray that many would after reading this do what we did or do even more.
Love will certainly solve all the problems of humanity.THE BURGLAR

Let’s Educate our Boys and Girls what is Rape and our Security Agents too.

As Witnessed By Prince Frank Nomso Ikechukwu ……( Inside Imo State )

“” I had an appointment last week thursday afternoon at ikenegbu in owerri. Our meeting was cut short by a commotion outside and the gentleman whom I had the appointment with went out of his office to see what it was; of course I followed him.
We got there and we saw a furious looking young lady in her late 20s ranting and asking the police to arrest a young guy who in his early 30s .
So we stepped in out of curiosity and inquired what happened and the lady shouted “He raped me!!!”

Now, needless to say everyone’s anger set in; mine too cause I detest the act of Rape. But to our surprise the boy gently and politely said that’s not true.
Every lady there screamed a thunderous “shut up your mouth” at the guy and we proceeded to ask the lady of details.

While we were all engrossed in her tales, I turned and noticed the young man was scribbling somethings….lots of things on paper.
I paid it no mind and listened to the lady.
She said called the guy and both of them had an appointment, they were supposed at Kilimanjaro fast food at YKC junction.
But on getting there, he was not there so she called him and he told her he wasn’t coming there that she should come meet him.

Turns out the guy was at home. He got a pack of juice for her drink, and she did drink. They chatted for a while, watched a movie and it was while they were watching the movie, he started touching her and then he raped her.

At this point the ladies and a few guys concluded that he drugged her.
The young boy was asked to speak he said we had sex but I did not rape her.
Rather than tell us what happened he preferred to ask her the questions.
And so he began…

QUESTION 1: Why were we meeting and when did we agree to meet at Kilimanjaro?

Her Response: I wanted to borrow money from him and we were to meet a day before yesterday by 4pm.

QUESTION 2: Why did we not see again?

Her Response: I called you and told you that I would not make it anymore.

QUESTION 3: At what time did you call me?
Her Response: I am not sure, I didn’t notice the time.

At this point the man I had an appointment with said check the call log of your phone.
She brings it out, and we went to call log.
We asked what she saved the guys number and she told us.
We looked and found out that the she had about 6 missed calls from him between 4pm and 5pm. And she called him by 5:30pm.

So the question continued….

QUESTION 4: When you called this Morning, why did I refuse to leave my house?
Her Response: You said you were trading forex.

QUESTION 5: When you got to the house, what did you see and what happened?
Her Response: You and one other lady were on your computers

Then? He interjected

Then you asked the lady to bring a drink and she did. I slwpt off while i waited for you to finish with your computer.

QUESTION 6: The drink, were the only one that drank it?
Her response: No, all of us did.

QUESTION 7: When you woke up, you saw me watching a movie. Then you asked me for the money what did I ?
Her response: You said you spent it already.

“That’s not all I said; finish the sentence.” He said.

“Shut up your mouth rapist!!” Echoed some of the people in the crowd.

The policemen, at this point tried calling them down. And asked the boy to seat on the floor again.

Aunty oya answer am nah…said one of the officers.

“You said the last loan that you gave me, I haven’t paid back and it’s been 8months.” She replied

Needless to say the crowd was now divided and words like ashawo was being whispered.

QUESTION 8: Since you left my house today, have you gone home or changed your clothes?
Her Response: No. I went to call the police.

Out of curiosity, we all started looking at her clothes and wondering “what’s up with it?”

And then he gave the punch!!

QUESTION 9: What did you say when I told you that I wasn’t giving you any money since you refused to pay the previous loan?

Rather than reply, she got agitated and asked the officer to arrest the guy.
And the place went agog.
A female sympathisers stepped forward, placed her hand on the girl’s shoulder and encouraged her to answer without fear.

And reply she did.
“I told him, to give me that I will pay for the other one in kind.”

Everyone burst into laughter.
The guy got up and said, “that was when she undressed and we had sex.
If I had raped Her, I this her clothes should be torn or rumbled but they not.
The only reason she is upset is because I still refused to give her the money after the sex.”

Ashawo!!
Chei Ashawo!!!
Filled the air from the crowd.
The women where now upset with her.
Her last words became ” if he isn’t giving me the money even after I slept with him, that’s rape nah. That’s not what we agreed.”

At this point, the man whom I had a meeting with tapped me on my shoulder and asked us to reschedule the meeting and we both left.
The police realised the guy and escorted the girl to take a cab as she was rained with curses and insults by the crowd.

This young man would have been falsely accused, locked up and left to rot if he had not taken his time to get the truth out.
Imagine how many others who are in prison like this for rape also!!!

I support and encourage the on going protests and demand for stiffer punishment for Rapist, child molesters and paedophiles.
But in making such demands, we must start educating our boys and our girls on what exactly RAPE is and What it is NOT

Also, we must demand that our security officials get the PROPER TRAINING on RAPE CASE INVESTIGATION, Our Medical doctors need the APPROPRIATE TEST KITS, Our Psychiatrist will need to be trained on helping both the victim and the perpetrator.””””””*
