Doing Well But Feeling Bad – Lawrence Emeh

Rev. Lawrence is seasoned preacher and a motivational speaker with a difference, he based his motivation on the scriptures. He has spoken on different topics both offline and online, today he has written another Master piece “Doing Well But Feeling Sad”

Why is Your countenance like this?

Even when your efforts are beginning to yield results, your feeling is still not encouraging…
Something is wrong somewhere…Doing well and still not happy…

Could it be that you are experiencing less than you expected…
Could it be that the better result of others are ridiculling your own result, thereby, affecting your motivation…
Could it be be that you have a lot of good plans but lack resources to carry them out…

Privately,depression is setting in…
Almost nothing motivates you again…
You are nursing offense against people you think that should have helped your visions…

It’s strange but real…
Getting downcast in the midst of little good result…
One thing that should encourage you is that “GOOD,” no matter how small the result…

Sir,Relax…
Depression affects courage…
And when your courage is affected, even the little result won’t be seen again…
You are not wrong to feel bad, considering your impute…
But everything can’t happen at once…
Your problem is not lack of result…
Your problem is result comparison.

Come back to yourself in devotion…
Keep the little results coming…
Concentrate more on your own development.

The strategy that is causing little result is the same strategy that is causing big results for others…
They have applied it with little result before…
They kept applying it and big results began to happen.

Just make sure that your expectations do not become your problem.
Your expectation has started coming, allow it to gradually develop…

If you mishandle expectation, you will shout away those who would have given you the result you desire…

Don’t allow expectation to hinder manifestation.

Take it easy…
Calm your spirit down…
Endure the hunger of little result…
Keep your current strategy going…
Don’t lose your mind…
Stay strong in prayers…

I see grace released…
You can smile like others…
Just little more time…

God bless you.

The gory incident which occurred on Sunday morning along Benin/Asaba express way drew the attention of many both within and outside Mbiri kingdom.

Gov. Ugwuanyi Offers Scholarship, Financial Support To 10-year-Old Brutalized Child

Enugu State Governor H.E. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has Directed the State Attorney-General to liaise with Police to bring suspects to book

In furtherance of the Enugu State government’s contributions to the wellbeing and quick recovery of Miss Nneoma Nnadi, the 10-year-old female househelp, who was brutally injured and maltreated by her guardians, Mrs. Ifeoma Ozougwu and her husband, Mr. Jude Ozougwu, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has approved the award of scholarship, up to university level, to the little girl.

In a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Nnanyelugo Chidi Aroh, Gov. Ugwuanyi directed the state scholarship board to implement the approval with immediate effect.

Aroh disclosed that the governor “in addition to the earlier directive to the State Ministry of Gender Affairs and Social Development to provide and fully pay for the best available medical care for the child, the Governor has further directed the immediate release of financial support to the family of the child for their upkeep”.

The information commissioner added that Gov. Ugwuanyi expressed appreciation to the Enugu State Command of the Nigeria Police “for their timely and professional intervention” and equally directed the State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Chief Miletus Eze to “liaise with the Nigeria Police and ensure that the suspects are brought to justice timely”.

It would be recalled that the State Commissioner for Gender Affairs and Social Development, Rt. Hon. Princess Peace Nnaji, on the directive of the Governor, yesterday, visited the victim at ESUT Teaching Hospital Parklane, Enugu and announced the state government’s decision to take adequate care of her wellbeing, pay all her medical bills and ensure that she receives proper medical attention.

Enugu State is in the hands of God!

Virgins And Masturbation

I get lots of questions on masturbation most especially from ladies -yes, ladies masturbate a lot, especially virgins. Guys also masturbate. There is no debate on that. I’m not here to argue about who masturbates most, I need to deal with a serious issue.

Sexual urge for virgins is strong. What makes it stronger is the novelty, newness, the mystery and the hear says about sex.

Masturbation is fondling your genitals consistently to achieve orgasm. Ladies may stroke their clitoris while guys rub, massage or caress their penis. I decided to give explicit explanation because some ask me what masturbation is. Some ladies especiallly non-virgins use candles, banana, small bottles, sticks, dildos or whatever represents a penis and do solo sex (having sex by yourself).

From teenage upward, you will have a strong desire for sex. It’s a sure sign you are normal and capable of having and enjoying sex in marriage.

In your 20s it will be stronger and intense! You may wake up feeling horny for no single reason in the world or go hot on spotting a curvy lady! You may start noticing shapes and curves and you have to shake your head several times to keep the image off. You may get worked up on watching a romantic movie and discharge something. You check up and discover you are wet. All these are normal, you haven’t committed any sin.

So what then do you do when you get hot and horny? Have sex? I know you know my answer and some singles will never be caught dead sleeping around, so what do they do? They masturbate! They give themselves release and pleasure through solo sex while claiming virginity at theseame time. Masturbation is completely wrong and not the way out. Let me explain:

1. Masturabation is not done in isolation. It is done with the image of someone in mind. It can be a lover, an EX, a celebrity, a married person, a crush, someone you like but incapable of having. You imagine having sex with them while masturbating. That is MENTAL FORNICATION

2. For ladies, while inserting all manner of objects, you may mistakenly deflower yourself and also introduce infection into your genitals and womb. It will be very difficult to convince your future partner that you never had sex with man except objects during your solo sex.

3. You kill your ability to enjoy sex in future. Millions of women don’t enjoy sex in marriage which leads to sexual frustration, adultery, lesbianism and feminism. If you are used to getting orgasm by yourself, you won’t be able to get it from your husband. If you are used to objects in your private part, you won’t have feelings for your husband’s penis. You will always think of something harder, bigger, longer, larger and completely unrealistic! Women who complain their husbands’ penis are too small didn’t marry as virgins. They must have been promiscous as singles.

4. You will not have a good sex life as a man. You will experience pre-mature ejaculation and your wife won’t enjoy you leading to acute sexual frustration in marriage. You need self control to fully enjoy sex and give your wife maximum sexual pleasure. A woman enjoys sex when the man can go on for at least 7 minutes before ejaculating.

Because you are used to instant release from masturbation, you may not be able to go more than a minute before exploding leaving your wife completely unsatisfied and frustrated. She may close up, become frigid and stop having sex altogether which may lead to you having an affair, she having an affair or both of you having an affair. Self control before marriage helps you enjoy sex to the maximum. You are able to delay ejaculation, go on for a long time and have excellent orgasm while giving your wife pleasure too. That is why total virginity pays!

5. If you do not suffer premature ejaculation, you may have serious problem with delayed/ retarded ejaculation. A situation where you get erection for several hours without ejaculation or orgasm. What is the benefit of sex without orgasm? Rough masturbation with your hands kills your ability to feel/enjoy sex with your wife. It is hell for a woman to be under a man who thrusts in for hours unable to ejaculate. How will the woman get pregnant? It’s the reason some women are seemingly “barren” and can’t talk to anybody out of embarrassment.

Thrusting hard for so long leaves the woman sore, frustrated and hating sex altogether. You have so much to lose sexually when you masturbate. Abstaining from this degrading act helps you feel relaxed, confident, have normal sexual intercourse and enjoy the pleasures that comes with sex IN MARRIAGE!

6. You start having sex in the dream with a known or unknown person (demonic entities other wise known as spiritual spouse).

7. You feel drained, dirty, empty, useless and powerless after each act.

8. You start getting unsatisfied and wants the real thing. You fantasize more about sex and start longing for the real act.

9. You get a warped view of the opposite sex. You see them as sexual objects and start having sex with anything in skirt or trousers -you become promiscous.

10. You get damaged, hurt and broken.

These and more are the consequences of masturbation. They damage you and shatter you to pieces! What then should you do with your sexual urge? How do you handle the constant hunger for sex?

1. Avoid all dirty pictures, pornography videos, pictures and hot, romantic movies -they are powerful sexual triggers!

2. Avoid friends who say dirty, lewd and obscene things. Stop all sexy banters with friends and say only things that are pure, holy, needful and helpful.

3. Get busy with your life, education and career, there is more to life than sex.

4. Transmute your sexual energy: Channel your sexual energy into something great.

5.Avoid pornography and romantic movies.

Masturbation is wrong, bad, demonic, destructive and sinful. Avoid it and end it with speed if you are deeply involved in it. God bless you.

Someone came and was separating them, he threw punch on the small boy and missed it. So it landed on the face of the gut that was separating them. Then the guy separating them rushed and brought knife and stabbed him at back and then on the neck.

An eye witness narrated his account.

He was stabbed yesterday at back and on the neck.

I went away to reach for his madam.
This morning, I was hoping to see him stand up on his fit and thank me for my kind gestures.

U know what I heard? He’s gone!
He passed on this morning! He bled a lot… I feared he couldn’t make it seeing the way he was bleeding yesterday. God!!!

We Are Going Higher, Worship – E.A. Adeboye

John 4:19-24

19. The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

20. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

21. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

22. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

23. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Memorise
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 4:23

Worship draws Gods attention. In fact, todays memory verse says that God is actively searching for true worshippers. When Bartimaeus wanted to get the Lords attention, he called Him Jesus, the son of David. In Yoruba land where I come from, when you really want to get something from a man, you start by recounting his antecedents and achievements. We have never needed Gods attention more than now, so this is the time to increase our worship of Him. When you worship Him, He shows up in a great and unique way. In Acts 16:26 , Paul and Silas worshipped Him and He showed up in an earthquake. In 2 Chronicles 20:22 , Jehoshaphat and his people worshipped the Most High God and He made their enemies destroy one another. When you are faced with a battle, deploy the weapon of worship and watch the mighty power of God make you victorious. At a wedding in a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the groom fell and died just as he was about to sign the marriage register. The pastors began to cry to God in prayers for the young mans life to be restored, but instead of coming alive, he got colder. Someone then remembered what I had always taught about praises, so he told everyone to switch to praising God. They had only been doing so for a few minutes when God showed up; the groom came back to life and the wedding ceremony continued. God always shows up when we worship Him in Spirit and in truth. John 4:24 says:

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

God loves to be worshipped. He wants to be called the Holy One of Israel, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Rock of Ages, The Mighty Man of war, the Lord of lords, the Lord Strong and Mighty, the Lord mighty in battle, the King of kings, the Almighty God. Go ahead, take some time now to worship Him from the depth of your heart.

Point
Commit to a lifestyle of worship – in spirit and in truth.

Fayemi declares ‘war’ against rapists in Ekiti State

The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi has vowed that the state will henceforth become tougher for perpetrators of rape and other sexual related violence.

Fayemi who lamented the alarming rate of violence against children and women, said his administration would not relent its efforts to curb the hydra-headed scourge in the state.

The governor stated this in Ado-Ekiti on Monday while receiving the annual report on the management of gender based violence and the State GBV Strategic Plan, said the state is set to further take more decisive steps by enforcing stiffer penalties against violators of the existing GBV laws.

He said his administration’s commitment to combat gender based violence is a clear demonstration of his government’s resolve to restore Ekiti core values and cultures.

Fayemi promised that the government would continue to provide the needed institutional and other forms of support for fight against GBV since the barbaric practice was alien to the values of Ekiti people.

The governor said the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF), which he chairs, had also taken a firm stand against sexual violence and abuse, a development which said culminated in declaration of a state of emergency on Gender Based Violence in all states.

Earlier, the First lady and chairperson of the GBV management committee, Erelu Bisi Fayemi revealed that the state government has provided succour for no fewer than 133 survivors of GBV between December 2018 till date.

Mrs Fayemi said that the Committee which was reconstituted in July 2019, has been able to facilitate the provision of several legal frameworks to protect GBV survivors, including the Compulsory Treatment and Care for Sexually Abused Minors Law 2020.

She added that the Committee, through the Office of the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, activated the 2013 Sex Offender Register with the “name and shame policy” which provides for the publication of the names and photographs of convicted sex offenders in public places.

Former Super Eagles’ Captain, John Obi Mikel, is a possible target for English Premier League promotion hopefuls, West Bromwich Albion, according to The Guardian

The former Chelsea star, 33, has been a free agent since leaving Turkish club Trabzonspor by mutual consent back in March.

The Baggies are said to be one of several clubs looking at Mikel, and they will likely be playing in the top flight of English football next season, as they currently sit inside the top two of the second-tier Championship.

The Nigerian played for 11 years in the Premier League with Chelsea, winning the title two times along with three FA Cups, the League Cup, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.

He also had a brief spell with Middlesbrough in the Championship during the 2018/19 campaign, a tenure in which then-manager Tony Pulis was full of praise for the performances of Mikel.

“Since he came into the football club, the level of his performances have been exceptional,” Pulis said.

“He’ll give credit to the other players around him, I’ve spoken to him and he’s done that. You don’t win the trophies he’s won for no reason.

“When you’ve got young players working with a top player who’s won everything in the game, it really inspires them.

Werder Bremen Retain Bundesliga Status; Pip Heidenheim On Away Goals Rule In Relegation Playoff 2nd Leg

Werder Bremen on Monday retained their Bundesliga place after their relegation/promotion playoff second leg against Bundesliga 2 side 1. FC Heidenheim ended 2-2 at the Voith-Arena, Heidenheim, Completesports.com reports.

Florian Kohfeldt’s side won it over two legs on away goals rule. The first leg in Bremen last week Thursday ended goalless, which heightened the Bundesliga giants’ worry in the fight to avoid their second relegation in history, following their 1979/1980 season experience.

Bremen went out fighting in Heidenheim, asserting themselves much more than they did in the first leg, but FC Heidenheim put up another gallant display, synonymous of a team hungry to earn their first ever promotion to the German top flight.

Heidenheim started with a hard-luck by conceding early in the third minute through an own goal by Norman Theuerkauf . And they frantically chased the game until Tim Kleindiest drew level at 1-1 in the 85th minute.

Werder Bremen might have thought they had bagged a late winner when Ludwig Augustinsson scored in the 94th minute, but referee Felix Brych awarded Heidenheim a penalty-kick just three minutes later (97th) and Kleindiest converted it for his second goal of the match. And so it ended 2-2 at the Voith Arena

Covid-19: FG Worries Over Rising Cases Among VIPs

PTF on COVID-19 chairman, Boss Mustapha..positive confessions
The Federal Government has expressed concern over the high rate of positive cases of the coronavirus disease, especially among top government officials.

Mr Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Chairman, Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, raised this concern at the 49th joint national briefing of the taskforce on Monday in Abuja.

According to Mustapha, this has a direct impact on governance and security of the nation.

“We urge that vigilance and care should be exhibited by all Nigerians, irrespective of status.

“This virus does not discriminate and the PTF shall keep sustaining its sensitisation messaging,’’ he said.

The SGF said that as the nation progresses into the second phase of the eased lockdown, the national response continues to escalate its level of vigilance and monitoring, especially as government ease restrictions in more sectors, including those with potentials for large gatherings and/or interactions between groups of people.

“We are conscious of the fact that this could be misinterpreted to mean that the war against COVID-19 is over.

“Let me emphasise that decision for further relaxation was cautiously taken by government to balance lives and livelihood.’’

He noted that the rising global and domestic statistics of cases and fatalities have shown that COVID-19 had not given any relaxation, thus the nation could not afford to slow down and must never compromise.

“Let us continue to learn from the history of pandemics by avoiding the mistakes of 1918.

“The PTF calls on all Nigerians to also remain vigilant and this call is underscored by global and national developments in the last one week, especially throughout the week-end.

“In the last one week, we have witnessed a resurgence in countries that were noted as having successfully contained or containing the spread of the virus.

“The situation in Beijing and the United States should inform our individual and collective actions.

“Of course, such resurgence has led to reintroduction of precision/location specific lockdown in some areas such as parts of Galicia region, Catalonia and Spain,’’ Mustapha said.

According to him, the PTF, on Monday, met with the heads of security and defence agencies to review and chart a refined course in view of the fact that COVID-19 is a global health, socio-economic and security issue.

Nigeria, the SGF said, must continue to evolve new strategies peculiar to her environment, even while working within global prescriptions.

He said that the Nigerian Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) organised national prayers for both Muslims and Christians to seek divine intervention on COVID-19 and several other problems confronting the nation and humanity.

He said that some additional benefits derivable from the intervention of NIREC include awareness on the evils of gender violence, benefits of peaceful co-existence, religious tolerance and deepening the impact of community engagement and risk communication programmes of the PTF.

Mustapha also said that on Thursday and Friday, the PTF would be carrying out its mid-term review, having crossed the three months or half time threshold of its life span.

According to him, this will involve a comprehensive examination of the steps taken, the challenges and charting the way forward.

The SGF said that COVID-19 was not a death sentence, but it becomes dangerous when, “we fail to detect, test, isolate and treat.

“We can avoid contracting it by complying with non-pharmaceutical interventions of wearing a face mask, maintaining social distancing, hand-washing, staying and working from home if practicable.

“Similarly, we can achieve more if we stop stigmatisation’’.

He noted that capacity and opportunities for testing have been expanded, with the opening of 40 laboratories and creation of more testing centres, including some certified private sector medical facilities across the country.

Mustapha, therefore, urged all Nigerians to get tested to enable all fight the pandemic.

“The handling of the Ebola virus, Lassa fever, our becoming a polio-free country and successful exit from other communicable diseases over the years should give us comfort that COVID-19 would also be put behind us,’’ he said

Education Minister Nwajiuba Announces Date For 2020 Waec Examinations

The Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, on Monday, announced that the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has been scheduled to commence in August.

Nwajiuba said this at the briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in Abuja.

According to Vanguard, He said, “From the 4th of August to the 5th of September, please take note. Last week the Chairman of the PTF announced that school facilities will be available for those who want to go into revision classes.

“The idea here is that we have a whole month from now till then, those who can and those who are willing; the states who are willing should make their schools available for their children to revise.

“We have done the most we can with our representatives at WAEC and we have, this afternoon, confirmed that the dates allotted for the exams will be from the 4th of August through to the 5th of September,” the minister added.

NNPC still performing below global benchmarks — NNRC

The Nigeria Natural Resource Charter (NNRC), Monday, disclosed that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has consistently and was still under-performing against established global benchmark and also lacking in transparency and good corporate governance.

The Nigeria Natural Resource Charter (NNRC),is a non-profit policy institute, committed to effective natural resource governance in Nigeria.

In a statement in Abuja, Program Coordinator of the NNRC, Ms. Tengi George-Ikoli, commended the NNPC for its commitment to its Transparency, Accountability and Performance Excellence (TAPE) agenda, and its recent efforts to it by publishing the 2018 audited reports of its subsidiaries, noting, however, that there remains a need for greater transparency and accountability by the NNPC.

She noted that over the years, the NNPC had consistently under-performed against the NNRC’s global best practice benchmark for optimal national oil company performance which prescribes that national oil companies be accountable to their citizens and government, with well-defined mandates and an objective of commercial efficiency.

She said, “Holistic improvements across the National Oil Company (NOC) will ‘require clear and appropriate decisions and role of the NOC and how it is financed, corporate governance systems that limit political interference and allow for efficient oversight, and a commitment to transparency and accountability’.

“It is expected that the NOCs that will succeed in maximizing their potential enterprise value, and thus maximize their revenue contribution to the nation, will be those who succeed at building strong governance along with capital and operational excellence into their culture.”

She bemoaned the huge losses incurred by the country’s refineries, stating that unless NNPC’s refineries operate at a minimum of 90% capacity, they would continue to lose money.

“Comparing Norway’s Equinor and NNPC, performance records show that Equinor’s three refineries averaged 92.8 per cent capacity utilisation in 2018 while NNPC’s three refineries recorded 11.21 per cent. A 2015 comparison of average refinery capacity utilisation in the USA of 90.98 per cent and Nigeria of 4.88 per cent is even worse.

“In the area of revenues accruing to government, NNPC’s performance compared to Petrobras (of Brazil), or Petronas (of Malaysia) shows gross inefficiency. Even when benchmarked with similar national oil companies in Africa such as Sonatrach of Algeria and Sonagol of Angola, the NNPC still falls short on different counts,” she noted.

George-Ikoli explained that the NNRC had highlighted poor corporate governance as a big challenge to the growth of the NNPC.

She said, “It is noteworthy that peer group companies that are wholly government owned like the NNPC do have strong governing boards constituted by competent professionals, instead of preference for political representation. The NNPC is the only NOC with a serving government minister on its board. This brings unintended political baggage which impacts negatively on the smooth running of the organization.

“Closely linked to governance, management and delivery is the concern for organizational flux. Compared to other NOC’s the NNPC has had far more executive turnover. Unlike Petronas where the average tenure of a CEO is six years, and nine years in Saudi Aramco, NNPC by contrast has had 20 GMDs in 42 years, an average tenure of 2 years per chief executive.”

She noted that to reform the NNPC required new thinking and new strategies, starting with the recognition that NNPC is not and was never designed, from the beginning, to be a commercially driven enterprise.

“Had it been so, it would have been capitalised, granted more operational autonomy and burdened with fewer regulatory functions as in the NNPC Act. Its governing board would reflect that of a commercial enterprise, even if government owned like Saudi Aramco, with fewer ‘political appointees’.

“No doubt the Petroleum Industry Bill will be a good platform to remedy the deficiencies in particular as it goes to greater lengths to separate commercial entities from regulatory authorities, leaving the national oil company to focus on finding, producing and commercializing petroleum resources,” she explained.

How Hushpuppi Was Tracked And Arrested In Dubai Through His Google Account

The Google account of Ramon Abbas, better known as Hushpuppi, was one of the things that made it easy for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to track him, according to documents seen by TheCable.

Hushpuppi was arrested in Dubai in June but later extradited to the US following a series of criminal activities allegedly traced to him.

The internet celebrity has been charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering before a US court.

In a document signed by Andrew Innocenti, a special agent of the FBI, three people — Abbas, co-conspirator 1 and co-conspirator 2 — were accused of participating in fraudulent schemes involving hundreds of millions of dollars.

According to the FBI, an analysis of the iPhone and online account belonging to co-conspirator 1 showed that messages were exchanged with Hushpuppi, requesting accounts into which funds realised from the money laundering schemes could be sent to.

“Based on records from Instagram received in June 2020, the Instagram account was subscribed with the name “RAY,” the email address, rayhushpuppi@gmail.com, and the verified phone number +971502818689 (“Phone Number 2”),” the document read.

“The Instagram account was created on October 10, 2012, and recent account history from 2020 showed logins from Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses located in the U.A.E.2 (ABBAS lives in the U.A.E., based on information from his email and social media accounts, financial records, and internet research).

“Based on subscriber records from Snap Inc., the Snapchat account “Hushpuppi5” used the phone number +971565505984 (“Phone Number 3”) and the email address rayhushpuppi@gmail.com (i.e., the same email as the Instagram account).

“The Snapchat account used the display name “The Billionaire Gucci Master!!!,” which was the same Snapchat contact name saved in Coconspirator 1’s phone for the Snapchat account “Hushpuppi5.”

The document also gave details of records from Apple Inc., as well as his Gmail account, which showed invoices, tenancy contract, flight itinerary, Dubai visa, a Nigerian passport, among other documents all directly linked to Abbas.

Details of a conversation between the suspects were also revealed.

“On February 12, 2019, Co-conspirator 1 told ABBAS: “Wire is completed… We did it [500k euros]… Should be on ur side by now.”

In the conversation that followed, Co-conspirator 1 reportedly told Abbas that there was only one wire to the account in Romania. “Sender name : tipico group limited. Country : [Foreign Financial Institution Country] Amount : 500k euro…

“It’s there now my other crew confirmed it’s there as well.”

Later, while trying to figure out whether the wire had been successful, co-conspirator 1 was said to have added: “They did me 3 wires (2 to euro 1 to USA)… Bank it came from is :[Foreign Financial Institution].

The document added that the sender wrote: “Brother, we still have access and they didn’t realize, we gonna shoot again tomoro am.”

Could This Be The Reason? Oshiomhole Taught Us To Fight Godfathers, Serve People With Resources

Old Story.

Edo State governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has vowed that there would be no going back on the crusade against godfathers in the state.

The governor noted that fight against godfathers in the state was the path that his predecessor and current National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, taught him and others and there would be no going back on it.

He alleged that the crisis rocking the state House of Assembly was the handiwork of somebody who wanted to use the lawmakers to control him.

Obaseki who spoke through his deputy, Philip Shaibu, said the 7th Edo Assembly followed due process for the inauguration.

Speaking in Benin City when the House of Representatives ad hoc committee set up to look into the Edo Assembly crisis visited the state, Obaseki said the other lawmakers-elect decided to remain in Abuja and make themselves unavailable for inauguration.

The governor said the current crisis was history repeating itself as 15 PDP lawmakers also cried to the National Assembly in 2010 for a possible take over.

He said he was following the path Comrade Adams Oshiomhole taught them to fight godfathers and use the money to work for the people.

Obaseki who insisted that there was no going back on the crusade against godfathers said some demands of the lawmakers-elect could only be resolved if they were sworn-in.

According to him, “What we have here is somebody trying to use the House to control the executive. We feel that we have fought godfather. Oshiomhole led us to a strong fight to rescue the state from the hands of godfathers in 2006.

”We have joined the crusade Oshiomhole started in 2007. We will not go back on the crusade because it is helping Edo people. We can now galvanise the people because they can see roads, they can see schools and infrastructure. This is because the money that used to go the godfathers now go to the people.

”Oshiomhole has taught us to follow the path of the people. He told us to do the needful and make sure we fight the godfathers and take the money back to the people. That is what he taught us and we will not depart from it.

”Those ones have not been sworn in and they decided to abscond. I have contacted them and some of them told me certain things. I said we will deal with them. I said they must be members of the Assembly first before the discussion will take place.

”Somebody is interested in derailing them and the reality on ground. They are not elected to serve in Abuja. They should come to be sworn in first. I can assure you that I will bridge the gap between the governor and the legislature. We need peace because we want to turn Edo to investment hub.”

At the House of Assembly where the committee met with the Speaker, Frank Okiye and other lawmakers, Clerk of the Assembly, Alhaji Yayaha Audu Omogbai, said 11 lawmakers-elect had not presented relevant documents.

Omogbai said the inauguration took place at 3:30pm and not 9pm as alleged.

The Assembly clerk said he decided to carry out the inauguration because of the tension in the state.

He said it was nine members that presented themselves for swearing in despite the fact that he sent messages to 13 of them that were ready.

Chairman of the Committee, Abdulrazak Namdas (APC Adamawa) said there was hope that the issues would be resolved.

”We have spoken to relevant people involved in this crisis and all of them are willing and have given us their support. They are willing to sit down and say these things should come to an end.”

Benin Monarch, Oba Ewuare II, informed the committee that he intervened in the feud between Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Governor Godwin Obaseki but the crisis escalated.

Oba Ewuare II spoke when he received members of the House of Representatives ad hoc committee set up to look into the Edo Assembly crisis.

No Ethnicity In Dream Team Of Atlanta ’96 And The Celebration Thereafter

Happy Anniversary to the DREAM TEAM of Atlanta ’96, 23 years old today

Atlanta ’96 remains one of the most unforgettable Olympic Games for football and sports lovers in Nigeria. Nigeria won six medals overall, two gold, one silver and one bronze medals. But the gold medal the men football team won remains the biggest highlight, and an evergreen story of joy and pride for the country. It is 23 years today since that feat which marked the first time any African team will claim the Olympic football gold.

The journey to the football gold medal for the country was not a smooth one. Nigeria then faced serious political issues that had claimed a lot of lives. General elections had taken place three years earlier, and it was believed to have been won by Chief M. K. O. Abiola. Abiola was in detention at the time of Atanta ’96, a year after famous activist Ken Saro-Wiwa had been executed by the Sani Abacha military junta.

Football was the only source of hope and joy for Nigerians then, as the country had just won the Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia two years earlier, and also participated in her first-ever FIFA World Cup in the United States, where the Super Eagles progressed to the Round of 16, losing 1-2 to eventual runners-up, Italy at extra time.

Nigeria experienced one more pain after General Abacha stopped the Super Eagles from going to defend their African title in South Africa early in 1996. This was because Nelson Mandela, who was then President of South Africa, had asked that Nigeria be suspended from the Commonwealth of Nations, because of the killings of Saro-Wiwa and his four other Ogoni rights agitators. It was therefore hoped that the summer Olympics would bring joy to Nigerians.

The Dream Team I of Nigeria, coached by Dutchman Johannes Bonfere, was grouped alongside Hungary, Japan and Brazil. Bonfere Jo himself almost lost his job just before the start of the Olympics as the team struggled to win matches. They had just lost 1-5 to Togo in a friendly, and at a point, he left the job due to unpaid wages, but was convinced to come back by the players.

The team began Atlanta ’96 with a 1-0 win over Hungary from the goal by Nwankwo Kanu, just before halftime. The second game saw the Dream Team playing a not-too-fancy football against Japan, but they got the needed three points. Two late goals from Tijjani Babangida and Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, both after 80 minutes, got the job done.

Nigeria marched on to the third group match, against Brazil, with qualification already sealed. The Brazilians had lost to Japan and beaten Hungary, and so they needed the three points against Nigeria. They got it, beating the Dream Team 1-0 with Ronaldo’s goal. They even went ahead to top the group, haven secured superior goal difference. Fate had plans to bring both sides together again.

Nigeria faced Mexico in the quarter-finals, and it turned out a very simple match. Okocha opened the scoring after 20 minutes with a missile from outside the area. Legendary Mexican goalkeeper Jorge Campos again had no answer when 17-year old Celestine Babayaro pounced on a loose ball in the area and slammed home to seal the re-match against Brazil, in the semi-finals

That second encounter against Brazil turned out the defining moment of the Olympic Games that year. Brazil had just won the FIFA World Cup two years earlier in the USA, and they had just beaten Ghana 4-2 in the quarter-finals.

Flavio Conceição opened scoring for the Seleçao in the first minute, and minutes later, Roberto Carlos scored an own-goal to the relief of Nigerians. From then on, the Dream Team went through pains.

Brazil scored two more goals. First Bebeto tapped in after goalkeeper Dosu Joseph had got a hand to Ronaldo’s shot, and then Conceicao got his second of the afternoon after a quick one-two on the edge of the box. All hope was lost for Nigeria.

But the never-say-die spirit, which the Dream Team had been exhibiting since the beginning of the competition, was reignited in the 78th minute with Victor Ikpeba scoring a fine goal from outside the box. Hope rose again, and Nigeria held on to that hope.

In the last minute, a long throw-in from Okocha caused havoc and the ball fell to Kanu’s long legs, and he smartly flicked the ball up and smashed it past goalkeeper Dida to equalise and send the match into extra-time. Four minutes into extra time, with the golden-goal rule then in place, Kanu scored again, dribbling past one defender and smashing the ball into the net.

The final was against Argentina, another South American power-house, filled with star players. They took the lead yet again three minutes into the game, when Claudio López got at the end of a great cross and smacked in a header. Nigeria responded immediately, just like in the semi-finals, with a header from Babayaro. Argentina scored a rather controversial penalty-goal early in the second half to lead again, but the Dream Team came back, the long throwing from Okocha coming handy again. This time, it fell to Amokachi and he scored.

Emmanuel Amunike, who scored the goals that gave Nigeria the 1994 AFCON title, had the final say yet again, coming off from the bench to beat the Argentine offside trap and volley home the winner from a free-kick.

It was late night in Nigeria, but massive celebrations broke out round the country. People went out partying and drinking, as beer parlours were filled.

The team returned to a heroic welcome in Lagos and were showered with gifts and bonuses. Many of them were teenagers or young adults, but they remain celebrated for generations to come, inspiring millions and putting a smile on faces that needs it, as it is difficult for a Nigerian to forget a wonderful moment like the 1996 Olympic Games.

Man Wants To Divorce Wife For Sleeping With Landlord In Place Of Rent

My wife is sleeping with my landlord under my roof.

My wife and I got married 16 years ago. We are blessed with five children, three boys and two girls. Before we got married, she was doing well more than me in financial aspects. So she was the one who is really helping me financially while we were not yet married. And also, she was never bordered on me not giving her money, anytime I attempts to do that, she will reject it vehemently.

So at a stage I persisted that she should accept my money which she later reluctantly agreed. Anytime I give her like 1k then as pocket money, she will smile and thank me. Before one week, she will send like 4k to me in return with “don’t thank me” in an SMS. Our love grew stronger from primary stage to secondary stage with these affectionately love showing.

After sometime, I really delayed in talking about marriage things with her. Infact I was thinking that it’s not good to delay such a good lady an opportunity for other men to approach her because I am not ready to start a family as of then (NB: it’s because of financial limitations) but I don’t know how to tell her about it. This is a lady that has been helping me and advising me in all areas of life she could.

So one day I finally took courage and told her, “Cynthia, please don’t be angry with me for we have dated so long but I am yet to talk about marriage things, it’s nothing but money issues. Please this is a cause that I am battling with, forgive me”… (Already I had in mind of telling her to look for another man that I am no longer interested in the relationship having given her my cogent reason of not being interested again just to save her time considering age reasons which at times associates with ladies in marriage)

Before I could enter the next statement after I have already said “forgive me” which a mild and intended mutual break up message will follow after. She interrupted me and said “Babe but some people started small and they are now enjoying big”. With an ecstatic feeling like someone who has been rejuvenated from death to life, I immediately replied “Yes Nne I can attest to that, yes I knew some of them”. I ended the conversation with her that day in a joyful mood.

Three months later I proposed to her and she accepted. My joy that day knew no bound. A woman I have been craving for all my life accepted my proposal. That day I threw a small party in our compound. All the neighbors was like “Emmanuel we have known you for very long time and you have never done such thing in your life, please tell us what is happening?” I also told them that those people who are doing party everytime, started one day, they all laughed.

A year later we got married though there was a little opposition from her family side concerning our union which I am sure that it arose as a result of the fact that I am not financially buoyant but when they found out that their daughter insisted, they had no other option left than to give us parental blessings in our marital institution.

Second year into my marriage, good fortune came to us and we started living as one of the wealthy people but I am not being proud of using the word ‘wealthy’ here because I usually reach out to the Less Privilege always. I also bought two bungalows here in Lagos on the course.

With a joint effort alongside my business partners, we set up a limited liability company. The business was flourishing very well until a problem which was beyond our control came up and our company fold up. Due to the nature of our business, I had to sell everything I have in this world including my two bungalows just to settle the debts we incurred on the long-run of the business which was majorly caused by my business partners.

Sadly, I went back to square one. My wife and I were better when we were dating than now because there was no kids then. We immediately packed out of the house we were living went to a “face me I face” house here in Ajegunle. This is someone who was once an owner of a beautiful and modern bungalow in Victoria Island.

It happened that I have not paid eight months rents since things turned harder for us. My wife has been the one paying for it. This is a landlord who you will never owe even a month rent. You will pack out without wasting time after being given warning and quit notice. One family packed out as they owed just one month salary but I am always thanking God for touching my landlord heart on my own side.

One day I had an access to my wife phone when she went to bath because I don’t check her phone. I just decided to read her WhatsApp chats, lo and behold, my wife is sleeping with the landlord with what I saw and it’s a naughty message from landlord but my wife is not interacting so naughty with him. So I confronted her about it and she confessed her crime and cried bitterly. I was emotionally touched by her remorseful actions seeing a woman I love crying.

I asked how many months she has been doing that, she replied that it started since seven months ago. She said the reason why landlord is not asking for house rents from us is because she has been giving him sex starting from then and the sex will be used as the payment for the house rent. I then remembered her words everytime the month is ending that I should not worry that she has already settled the landlord. If I ask her how she was able to garner enough savings for it, she will reply that I should not worry that “God is Good”.

She has been crying bitterly that I should forgive her that her actions was wrong but she did it just because of the love she had for me. How can someone who claims to love me cheat with another man just to prove her love to me? She has been giving what solely belongs to me to an old man in the name of the love she had for me. Who does that? How can I look at it again and proudly say “This Precious gold in-between is my property?” How will I believe that it’s only that man she admitted to have been having sex with is the only outsider she has slept with?

She has been seriously begging me but I am annoyed with her right now and very upset to whatever she does. My wife is a cheater! I admit to that. I am planning to dissolve this marriage, I don’t think I can continue with this marriage again because the trust I have in it have ended. I can testify this woman really loved me before but I don’t know for now again, how can she be sleeping with our landlord just to pay the house rent.

I know I may not have it but we can find another alternative than her given another man the Gold I hearty desire for. Will I still call the Gold my personal belongings again? And I really love this woman with all my heart that I may miss her but her action is what broke my heart.

Please I want to divorce her, advice me on what to do.

Court grants divorce to woman who sued over size of hubby’s manhood too Big.

– Ogbo Minister Prosper

NIGERIA: ZAMFARA State house wife Aisha Dannupawa has been granted a divorce by a local Sharia court after filing a suit against her husband for dissolution of their marriage because his manhood was too BIG.

In the first such case of its kind, Aisha, a mother of three, asked the court to dissolve her marriage to Ali Maizinari because she could not accommodate the size of his penis. Her husband, Maizinari did not contest her application but told the court that she should repay the entire dowry and what he spent during their courtship, which he estimated to total N60,000 ($296).

Aisha told the court that she married Maizinari after her first marriage failed. She added that before she moved into his house, she was invited to his parents’ house, as per tradition but it was only when they had sex that she became traumatised.

“When he came, we had sex but the experience was a nightmare. Instead of enjoying the sex, it turned out to be something else because his penis was too big. “I told my mother the experience but she told me to endure and that with time, I will be able to cope. She then gave me some drugs,’’ Aisha said.

According to the traumatised wife, they had sex again but it became evident that no drug would help and that she cannot remain married to the man. With no objection from her husband, the court granted Aisha the divorce.

Set Sexual Boundaries For Your Own Good – Gbile Akanni.

A popular holiness and Kingdom Preacher from Benue State Bro. Gbile Akanni has again warn believers who wants to make heaven to run from Immorality.

According to Bro. Gbile, Sexual immorality is on the increase all over the world. Adultery is fast becoming the norm and men of God are also joining the club. Married men and women are not left out, many are having secret lovers and emotional affairs are becoming the order of the day.
The rate at which immorality is increasing is alarming! It is spreading fast into every nook and cranny and children are also being initiated into the club. It’s no news that 8-10 years old kids now have sex with each other. Staying sexually pure these days is becoming a Herculean task.

One of the reasons people fall flat into illicit sex is over confidence. The wrong belief that you can be free around the opposite sex and nothing would happen is a big lie from the pit of hell, meant to deceive people.
A lot will happen! One of the ways you can stay sexually pure whether married or single these end time is to set strict boundaries .

If you are too careless around the opposite sex, you will fall flat on your face! That is the truth. The earlier you believe this and work on it, the better. You can’t be careless around the opposite sex and hope to stay sexually pure, set boundaries!

There are some people who can’t be your friends, it’s okay to raise the standard. Any body can call you names, that’s their headache, you have your destiny to protect. As a rule, I don’t make friends with liars, gossips and jealous people. They make life so complicated. If you believe in illicit sex, we can’t be friends, period!

Monitor your chats. Don’t allow anybody send you flirty messages, no matter how innocent it sounds, warn them and if they refuse to stop, block them!

Limit the hugs and touches, especially with the opposite sex. If your hugging anointing is only for me,

I want none of it.
Don’t allow anybody call you pet names (except your close familymembers and close same sex friends maybe), a friend recently made me realise that, it doesn’t make any sense. Pet names turn the opposite sex on, if you don’t know that, know it right now.

Be sensitive to attractions. Don’t be naive around the opposte sex, know when a man/ woman is sexually attracted to you and move back from that person. If they focus too much on your physique and body, they are sexually attracted to you, move back.
Know when you are sexually attracted to someone and move back.

It’s perfectly normal to have chemistry for someone. Marrying the greatest man on earth or the most beautiful, virtous woman in the universe will not automatically stop you from being attracted to someone else. Know when the thought of another man/ woman get you excited and move back.

Don’t jump at new relationships. Give it time. Study the person, know what they stand for, see if your core values are compatible, if not, move back!

Leadership attracts all kinds of people. If you are a leader or you are gifted, talented or intelligent, the opposite sex will show more interest in you, be careful whom you allow to get close to you.

Accept gifts with care. Men don’t joke with their time and money. If he spends so much time and money on you especially when you do not ask, he may one day ask for sex. Stop begging men for money. Work with your two hands and raise your standard. Men will respect and honour you for it.

Work on your marriage. Fix the problem as soon as possible or else you get attracted to someone who gives you what you lack in your marriage, adultery is the result.

Be prayerful, be watchful. Jesus says “watch and pray that ye may not fall into temptation…” Matthew 26:41.
Don’t stay with the opposite sex in a dark or lonely room.
Don’t counsel the opposite sex on a bed in a lonely room.

Avoid provocative dresses and pictures. Let your spouse or parents advise you on what is okay for you.

Mind the pictures you post on the social media, if it is getting unecessary opposite sex attention, delete it.
Don’t visit the opposite sex alone, especially at night. It doesn’t make sense.
These and more are the things you need to do to stay sexually pure in this year.
People may laugh at you, it doesn’t matter. They may call you a neurotic, psychotic, fanatic, over sensitive or paranoid, don’t let it bother you. Your destiny is too precious to waste on the altar of sin. Avoid friends who make fun of holiness and make friends with people who appreciate purity and holiness.
Finally, avoid the second look, as far as possible. I agree perfectly with Job on his resolution never to look lustfully at any lady. “I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?” Job 31:1 (KJV), you can avoid the second look.
Set your boundaries and never allow anyone to compromise your holiness.
Be a conqueror.
Enjoy a victorious Christian life.

Not All Nigerians Are Criminal Mbano Man Returned Huge Sum Found In A Wallet To Police In Japan

MORAL LESSON TO ALL OF US!

A PHD student from Mbano who showed capacity and Benovolence!

On the 19th of June 2020, while I was going home from the university, I decided to get my wife her favorite kebab. As I was climbing the staircase around Tsukuba center, I noticed something on the ground. As I drew closer, I saw that it was a wallet.

When I opened it, I saw a huge sum of money, a credit card, and other valuables. I immediately reported to the police. One of the officers was surprised and asked me why I did not take the money.

I told him that there was no need for that because I was raised by responsible parents, and that I am also a Christian.
He told me that according to Japanese law, that I was entitled to 10% of the money found inside the wallet. Again I declined.

The look on his face indicated bewilderment.
Yesterday, the owner of the wallet called me to show appreciation. Today, I got a letter from the Ibaraki/Tsukuba Police. They expressed their gratitude towards my incredible and selfless behavior.

Not every Nigerian is criminal-minded. There are a lot of Nigerians abroad working so hard to erase the bad name given to “us” by the criminal few.

Ohaneze Youth Council (OYC) Frowns At Discomdant Tunes In Igboland Against Chibuike Amechi For Presidency 2023

The Ohaneze Youth Council, OYC; a legally and socio-culturally recognised Igbo group and youth wing of Igbo apex socio-cultural organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo has roundly kicked against divisive statements against His Excellency Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi as well as actions and inactions of some Igbo people making rounds in the media as concerns what makes up the Igbo race and who ought speak in issues of the race in terms of geographical locations in Nigeria vis-a-vis 2023 Igbo Presidency.

In a swift reaction to the misunderstanding of who and what makes up the Igbo race, the National President of Ohaneze Youth Council, OYC, Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka over the weekend in Owerri stressed that Igbo race is not determined or ascertained by state or region creation but by traits of Igbo blood which existed before the geographical divisions and amalgamation.

New Media Galaxy who received a copy of the release through the S.A. on media to the OYC President Mr. ThankGod Emeh on Sunday Quotes him saying, “Anybody from the Igbo extraction in Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers states, Benue and environs are qualified to talk about Igbo issues as it concerns them as well as vie for presidential positions as the case may be in 2023 general elections to represent the Igbos because they are of Igbo race”

“Any Igbo man anywhere is an Igbo man irrespective of the locality he finds himself, whether Anambra, Abia, Enugu, Imo or Ebonyi and more but the Igbo project is strictly on Igbo presidency come 2023; so it can come from any state of Igbo extraction”

Igboayaka frowned at the verbal attacks on Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi’s (Rivers State) stance on Igbo presidency on grounds of his Igbo identity, noting that he is a bona-fide Igbo man and qualified to speak on or seek Igbo Presidency.

Comrade Igboayaka noted that the right Former Governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi has as an Igbo man in the project of Nigeria presidency of Igbo extraction is the same and equal right Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi has as an Igbo man, stressing that any verbal attack at Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi is an attack against Ndigbo via Igbo presidency. It’s a mental Northern slavery for anyone to say that the Ubima people are not Igbos.

OYC noted that such political discord will not be tolerated again by Igbo youths anymore as the whole scenario risks bungling Igbos shot at Nigeria’s seat of power.

“Anyone who segregate Ndigbo among our brothers in Rivers, Cross River, Akwaibom, Edo, Kogi, Benue, Delta and Balyelsa must be dealt with and Ostracized”

“That Amaechi is from Rivers State does not negate the fact that he is an Igbo man and as such has the same right the people from South Eastern states (Abia, Imo, Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi) have”

The Front line Socio-cultural Igbo Youth Council charged pro-Igbo groups to properly sensitise the members on what the main Igbo project is, and not fan the embers of disunity among the Igbo race based on statements, actions or inactions of some Igbo leaders or people in the past.

The Ohaneze Youth Council emphasized that it is not yet too late to get things right for the betterment of Ndigbo hence the full support of all Igbo people for Igbo Presidency come 2023 General Elections.

Saraki Replies APC On His Links With Hushpuppi

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has denied having an association with Hushpuppi as the All Progressives Congress, APC, calls for Investigation into links between them.

The APC National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, had claimed that Hushpuppi who was arrested for fraud in Dubai had relationship with PDP stalwarts. The APC also said that it is not a coincidence that the PDP held its “strategic meeting” in Dubai in the same Dubai where Hushpuppi got arrested. ”That the PDP leadership turned Dubai into their “Strategic” meeting place ahead of the 2019 general elections in Nigeria and “Hushpuppi’s” affinity with the PDP leadership is not mere coincidence.

At different times, “Hushpuppi” was been photographed in Dubai meeting with the PDP’s 2019 presidential candidate, Alh. Atiku Abubakar; former Senate President, Bukola Saraki; former Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; Senator Dino Melaye among other PDP stalwarts.

While relevant authorities investigate the nature of their relationship and business partnership, we also challenge the PDP leadership to do same by opening up on the nature of the relationship, particularly the kind of services the arrested “Hushpuppi” provided them.”

APC’s statement read Saraki has now responded to the statement by the APC which he described as cheap politics. A statement through his media aide, Yusuph Olaniyonu sees Saraki deny knowledge of Hushpuppi saying he has no association with him. “The statement credited to the APC, the ruling party in our country, is one of the ways by which our anti-graft agencies are weakened and why the fight against corruption in the country is often viewed with suspicion by the international community.

This is because when these cyber-crime suspects were operating freely and openly displaying wealth, the APC saw nothing bad in their activities. Also, the party at that time did not deem it necessary to call on the anti-graft agencies to investigate their activities.

Also, since the arrest of those cyber crime suspects and the subsequent damage to the image and the economy of Nigeria as well as the crisis it created for Nigerians engaged in lawful businesses across the world, the ruling party had been muted. The only time the APC deemed it necessary to make a statement was when it thought it should play dirty, cheap and irresponsible politics.

Dr. Saraki was the only political leader who has publicly made a statement through an Op-Ed article published in the Daily Trust newspaper of July 1, 2020 titled “Cyber Criminals: Confronting The Few Who Dent Many” and this opinion article had been widely circulated online and on other platforms.

In that article, he strongly condemned the activities of these cyber criminals and called on the law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to make decisive interventions to checkmate their activities. He has also got a research institution, the Politeia Institute, whose board he chairs to commence a research on the best ways to tackle the menace.

Such a noble intervention in tackling a menace is what Dr. Saraki believes in, not mudslinging and playing politics at the expense of the nation’s image. At this point, we call on the APC leadership to rein in the so-called Yekini Nabena and compel him to desist from making and circulating such malicious, odious and offensive claims”, the statement concluded

Hushpuppi Challenge, Igbos And Attachment With Crime By Other Tribes

We Are Now Committed To Fixing Every Stupidity Targeted At ‘Us’.

HAVE YOU SEEN THE HUSH-HUSH IN HUSHPUPPY CASE🤷🏾‍♂

-David O. Ani

Now that the heat is over.

I want to talk to Igbos suffering from inferiority complex, Igbos craving for acceptance and Igbos mentally damaged.

If there is any day someone bearing Igbo name is caught in any crime home or abroad and you go to your wall to write some nonsense like the example I will give below, God from heaven will knock your mouth.

Some nonsense like;

“We Igbos need to talk to ourselves” Igbos need to call their children to order” “Igbos need to tell themselves the truth” or any other stupid talk that holds Igbos accountable for an individual’s crime. Don’t ever dare be that stupid again.

In the last few days, you see how we handled Hushpuppi as a single fraud, no tribe was advised, no tribe was called to give their youth more home training….. It was Hush’s cross to carry. Did you see that? So, you have agreed not to be stupid again? Okay.

Don’t worry, we have never failed to throw it back when it is coming from outsiders, we are more pained with home grown folly. We are well able to return stupidity to wherever it is coming from.

Ask Ali Baba when he stupidly asked Ohaneze ndigbo to call their youth to oder because some Igbo kids committed some fraud…..we drew his father’s compound for him.

We are now committed to fixing every stupidity targeted at us but let it not come from home. Having a stupid child is a painful ordeal.

Criminals represents no tribe or even families and we will make sure anyone stupid enough to toe that line is shamed to his father’s house.

Our Nation In Retrospect, Immediately After The Nigeria Civil War

– Brigadier General Samuel Ogbemudia

After the civil war, while I was Military Governor of Midwest State, I quickly got Chief Salubi and Dr. Nwariaku to assemble in Benin some of our Igbo brothers who had, through ingenuity, refined petrol through locally made refinery in the East.

These people had also converted tipper lorries into armored tanks, among many other incredible feats.

I designed a programme that will ensure the utilization of their brains while they were still fresh and hot, for the good of the country.

Surprisingly, I was summoned to the Supreme Headquarters and directed to suspend actions as the government feared that my attempt will resurrect Biafra”.

Hushpuppi Links With Atiku, Saraki, Other PDP Top Members Should Be Investigated Now – APC

The All Progressives Congress(APC) has challenged relevant authorities to investigate alleged links between Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) chieftains and suspected internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi.

Hushpuppi was last week extradited to America by Dubai Police for alleged cyber fraud and money-laundering charges.

The APC, in a statement by its spokesman, Yekeen Nabena, mentioned some of the PDP chieftains seen with the Dubai-based Hushpuppi as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; former Senate President Bukola Saraki; former Speaker Yakubu Dogara; Senator Dino Melaye and others.

It wondered if the detained Instragam celebrity had anything to do with the multiple strategic meetings of the PDP in Dubai in view of his money-laundering charges.

The APC said: “While relevant authorities investigate the nature of their relationship and business partnership, we also challenge the PDP leadership to do same by opening up on the nature of the relationship, particularly the kind of services the arrested “Hushpuppi” provided them.

“In the leadup to the Edo and Ondo governorship elections, we renew our call against monetised elections and vote buying schemes which the PDP has serially deployed in elections.

“We call on relevant authorities to up their guard to prevent these practices that threaten the sanctity of our elections. The people’s will and votes should determine elections, not illicit money used to buy votes.”

N-Power: 109,823 Beneficiary Now Business Owners

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, has said no fewer than 109,823 beneficiaries of the N-Power Programme are now business owners.

Ms Farouq, in a statement on Saturday in Abuja by her Specil Assistant on Strategic Communication, Halima Oyelade, said the beneficiaries of Batch A and B of N-Power have established businesses in their communities.

“Statistics like this gives me joy and once again, I want to say congratulations; I look forward to hearing amazing testimonies and meeting beneficiaries of this programme who will be doing great things in the future.”

The minister reiterated President Muhammadu Buhari’s vision of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years by creating opportunities to enhance the productivity of Nigerian youths for entrepreneurship or employment.

Ms Farouq stressed that the vision was imperative because youth represented 70 million of the Nigerian Population while youth unemployment stood at over 20 per cent with 4.5 million entering the job market annually.

“Thus, the need to find ways to engage them is of utmost importance.

“However, the commencement of the enrolment of Batch C was predicated on the need to give more Nigerian youths the opportunity to benefit.

“This is because, keeping only 500,000 beneficiaries for four years defeats the purpose of Mr President’s vision, hence the need to scale up and was in no way meant to be punitive,” she said.

Ms Farouq thanked the beneficiaries while acknowledging the contributions and efforts of those who commenced the programme before it was transferred to the ministry.

She noted that it was a collective team effort and would continue to be so.

‘’You are our model N-Power beneficiaries. Please avail yourselves of all opportunities provided by the government like interest free loans and leverage on those opportunities while using N-Power as a stepping stone.”

The minister said challenges facing the programme include delays in the payment of stipends, beneficiaries not showing up at their places of primary assignments and people accessing the programme while gainfully employed elsewhere.

“However, we are frantically working to resolve them.”

The minister also assured beneficiaries that outstanding payments would be made and transition plans were ongoing and would be duly communicated to them on their platform.

Also, according to the statement, some of the beneficiaries of the programme gave glowing testimonials.

Dangote adbanner 728x90_2 (1)
It said Angela Nabu, a graduate of Agriculture from Ladoke Akintola University, was enrolled into the programme without knowing anyone or connected to anyone.

‘I gained practical experience working with the Ogun State Agricultural Development Programme, Ilaro Zone.

“I was able to save some money from the stipends to start my own fish farm.

“Today I have 12 ponds. I have people working for me and I have trained one IT student and I am willing to train more,” Ms Nabu said.

Similarly, Saddiq Mustapha, a beneficiary from Katsina State and graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, said he was idle after his one-year mandatory National Youth Service to the nation.

“By virtue of the experience gained and training in video production and editing, I was able to set up a multimedia company and run the largest online media business in the state with thousands of followers,” he said.

Ali Dapil from Plateau, living with disability, said he had gone through a lot of discrimination.

However, he applied for N- Teach and was sent to Gindiri as his Primary place of Assignment. He was also provided a device to aid him.

They all expressed their gratitude to the federal government for the opportunity.

Saka On Target As Arsenal Beat Wolves To Keep UCL Qualification Hopes Alive

Bukayo Saka scored his first ever Premier League goal as Arsenal kept up their hopes of Champions League football with a 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux, Completesports.com reports.

Substitute Alexandre Lacazette doubled Arsenal’s lead to score a Premier League away goal for the first time since February 2019.

Saka is the seventh-youngest player to score a Premier League goal for Arsenal in the club’s history.

Wolves dominated the first-half possession, with Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves to the fore.

But it was Arsenal who had the best opportunity to take the lead after 35 minutes but Eddie Nketiah was denied as his snap shot was stopped by a combination of Rui Patricio and the post.

However, Saka made no mistake two minutes before the break, arriving into the penalty area to meet Kieran Tierney’s deflected cross and hammered it past Patricio.

In the 64th minute Adama Traore was played clean through on goal only for him to harmlessly chip his shot over the crossbar.

And in the 86th minute Arsenal secured the three points thanks to Lacazette as his smartly-taken finish, handed his side their first away win against a top-half opponent this season, and ensured a fourth straight victory for Arteta’s men.

The Gunners have now kept back-to-back Premier League clean sheets away from home for the first time since February 2016.

The defeat was Wolves first since January 2020.

Arsenal are now seventh on 49 points and are six points away from fourth position.

Imo State: APC Factions Of Ex-Governor Okorocha And Uzodinma Recoiles

Following the swearing-in of governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, factions of the All Progressive Congress (APC) loyal to the erstwhile governor, Rochas Okorocha, and the incumbent has decided to shelve aside their differences in the interest of the party and unite as one party.

Gov. Hope Uzodinma

Marcellinus Nlemigbo, APC chairman loyal to governor Uzodinma told newsmen yesterday that the war is over following the emergence of Hope Uzodinma as the governor of the state.

“What are we still fighting for again? A governor has emerged and has been sworn-in, so what are you doing faction for?” he queried. “The national body recommended and recognised us and the governor of the state, anybody still in faction must be crazy upstairs.”

According to him, “it’s not just about extending hands to the other faction, we have also appealed to them to join hands together with us, there is still a lot to share, when we divide ourselves we get to lose.”

Corroborating his claim, factional chairman of the party enthroned by Okorocha in the wake of the APC governorship primary election in the state, Dan Nwafor acknowledged the truce propagated by Nlemigbo.

It would be recalled that the factions sprang up after the controversial governorship primaries conducted by Ahmed Gulak which gave Uzodinma the win over Okorocha’s son-in-law, Uche Nwosu.

He subsequently defected to the Action Alliance (AA) to contest for the governorship election.

Enugu: Woman Drove 6inches Nail Into A Nine Year Old Maid’s Head And Insert Pepper To Her Private Part

How Woman Drove Six Inches Nail Into Maid’s Skull, Inserted Red Pepper Inside Her Private Part

A young woman and mother of two, Mrs. Ifeoma Ozougwu, has murdered sleep and might not sleep for a while, as she had driven six inches nail into the skull of her maid, little Miss Nneoma Nnadi in Enugu. She was also said to have inserted ground red pepper into the girl’s private part and locked her inside their toilet.

The young woman and her husband Mr. Ozougwu from Aku in Igbo Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State, who are cooling off in police custody at the Enugu Area Command, were said to have been maltreating the little girl for a long time, inflicting her with bruises all over her body.

Saturday Sun gathered that the nail in the skull was the last straw that broke the camel’s back on Thursday at their Thinkers Corner residence, where she locked her in their toilet after driving the nail into her skull.

It was further gathered that their neighbours were the ones who alerted the police severally but each time the police visited they would search the whole house without seeing the girl. The woman will lie that the girl went to her relation’s house.

The neighbours investigated and found out that the girl was constantly locked inside their toilet and that she even ate shit at times inside the toilet where she was locked. Help came to the about nine-year-old girl, when the neighbours alerted the police to the girl’s incarceration and they went, searched the toilet and found the girl locked inside.

The police swiftly rescued the little girl, arrested the woman and took the girl to Enugu State University of Science and Technology Teaching Hospital, Parklane, where she is currently receiving intensive care. It took the wise decision of the police to whisk the woman out of the hospital where the people around wanted to lynch her.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe (ASP) said the incident was being investigated and that the Commissioner of Police has directed full-scale investigation. “It is still being investigated, the CP has directed a full scale investigation and to ensure that if found culpable, the woman and whoever that is involved should be prosecuted,” Ndukwe stated.

While being questioned at the Area Command, Ifeoma said the most of the bruises on Nneoma’s body were the handiwork of her husband as she only gave her small mark. She said, “It is my husband that gave her the big wounds with hot iron, I only did small at her back with hot iron. The wounds at her back and stomach are hot water. I also flogged her on the hand.”

Narrating what happened at the hospital to Saturday Sun, a hospital official said, “I was in my office when the police brought the girl to our emergency unit in the company of the wicked lady with her three kids. Our office was like main market yesterday. People were there cursing the lady, crying, telling the police to bring out the woman. So, the police seeing the great number of people drove away with the woman to the police station.

“The girl is admitted right now at the Emergency unit of our office. Personally I couldn’t hold myself. I called the wife of the Assistant Commissioner of Police in my chapter who hurriedly rushed to our office, saw the girl and cried out her eyes, called the husband and told her. I even spoke with her husband. She immediately informed the Commissioner of Police about it and sent the picture of the girl.

“The wicked Lady’s name is Ifeoma Omaga Ozougwu while the maltreated girl’s name who happens to be her cousin is Nneoma Nnadi. Do you know that the girl wanted to urinate but she could not because they poured heavy quantity of ground pepper inside her vagina? I couldn’t hold my tears because of the type of excruciating pains this girl was passing through. I have never seen this kind of wickedness in my life. I feel so, so bad about the whole thing.”

The Hushpuppi’s Challenge, Nigeria And Her Failed System

– Emeh Lawrence

In philosophy,there is a theory called”CAUSALITY”
It states that every cause must have an effect, and every effect has a cause.
To everything under the sun, there is a reason…
Nothing just happens…
One thing must lead to another…

Prostitutes said that poverty pushed them…
Criminals said that poverty pushed them…
Yahoo boys said that poverty pushed them…

But how can you argue with them when the system that produced them created little or no possibility of survival for the youths.

How can you equally believe them when countless youths who came from poor homes from the same system have through determination and creativity broken records and risen to become employers to thousands of people.

Who do we suspect…the system or the fraudsters?

The Nigerian system can not be exonerated from this phenomenon…
The Nigerian fraudsters can not be justified in this shame.

Evil is evil and must be condemned…
Never defend Hush…
Never attempt to applaud Nigerian system.

One of the wonders of Nigerian system is that they don’t consider events…
They will never accept the “HUSH PUPPI challenge” and say, let’s change direction on how to keep the youths comfortable in this country…
Instead,it’s how to improve on the salary of senates…

How to set up a system that will prevent impending Hushpuppies should be a concern…
Even though,no matter how you control a mad man,he must no fail to murmur.

And no matter how lessfocused and vission-less the Nigerian system seems to be,it can not justify the emergence and excuses of any more Hushpuppies…

Countless orphans are millionaires today,in the way of God…
Countless illiterates today are paying salaries to professors,in faithful ways…

The reason poverty is not your reason is that when you made it,you could not stop.

To the remaining fraudsters, both on the internet and the pulpit, you have made it…
Why not stop now before you stop in shame.

The blessings of the Lord makes that rich and He adds no “prison” to it…

HUSHPUPPI’s saga is a challenge that has to cause a massive change both in the Nigerian system and our individual lives…

It’s a challenge that should cause a change…

God bless you.

Opinion View: Yoruba And The Rest Of Southern Nigeria

-By Stephen Ubimagbo

But what is quite uncanny about Nigeria’s demographic distribution is that faith, ethnicity and geography mix as identity markers. In other words, a mere identification with an ethnicity would easily betray a Nigerian’s religion and geographical origin within the country.

Hausas

According to the Pew Research Center, 50 percent of Nigeria’s population are Muslims. Specifically, the country has a Muslim population that’s estimated at 90 million. Christians, on the other hand, account for 48 percent of Nigeria’s population, otherwise 86 million.

The point is, while Northern Nigeria is overwhelmingly Muslim, Southern Nigeria is largely Christian.

A Fulani or Hausa, for example, is easily identifiable as Muslim and of Northern origin. An Igbo or Ijaw is easily a Christian and of Southern origin.

Igbos

But because the South also has a huge Muslim population among the Yoruba, it is said that they have continued to constitute the biggest setback to Southern political solidarity. It is in fact said that Southern political solidarity is at best tentative because of the Yoruba unique tendency or position.

The explanation for this is not farfetched. Because Islam and Christianity don’t share the same values or worldview, although some have oddly lumped both faiths as Abrahamic, Yoruba Muslims (who constitute not less than 50 percent of Yoruba population) feel a closer affinity or indeed kinship with the North, as they share the same values owing to religion, than with other Southern groups that are largely Christians.

Yorubas

Hence, when other groups from the South complain of Northern (Muslim) hegemony and its debilitating impact on their political and economic freedoms, or when they generally rue their condition within Nigeria’s political equation, the Yoruba are often the quickest in the South to hush them, asking them to suck it in or die frustrated.

Court Orders Police To Pay N15m To IMN Members’ Families

The Long awaited judgement has finally come to an end with award of #15million.The Federal High Court, Abuja on Monday, awarded N15 million against the Nigerian police over the alleged killings of three members of the proscribed Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN).Justice Taiwo Taiwo, in his judgment, also ordered the National Hospital, Abuja to immediately release the three corpses in its morgue to their families.Justice Taiwo while granting Reliefs A and C of the applicants, said each of the applicants must be paid by the police, a sum of N5 million as compensation for the killings, making a total sum of N15 million. The judge, however, did not grant the prayer that the Nigerian police should tender an apology in two national newspapers.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Inspector General of Police is the 1st respondent while the medical director of National Hospital, Abuja is the 2nd respondent in the three separate charges.Suleiman Shehu, Mahdi Musa and Bilyaminu Abubakar Faska were alleged to have been killed by agents of the first respondent on July 22, 2019 while on a peaceful protest to demand for the freedom of their Islamic Leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife, at the Federal Secretariat, Abuja. The bodies of the deceased were alleged to have been deposited at the National Hospital, Abuja.

In The Same Place By Streams Of Joy Devotional

– Chidiebere Chima

“The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,” (Ezekiel 37: 1)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

The valley of dry bones speaks of a group of people, possibly an army, who were murdered in the valley, and whose bodied degenerated until they all became dry bones. In that same valley where they were murdered, God sent Ezekiel to prophesy, and the entire dry bones came back to life. In the same place where their blood was spilled and they were reduced to dry bones, the miracle of mass resurrection took place.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in the same places where you went down, God will empower you to rise higher. In the same place where you encountered losses, you are about to witness a restoration of all that you lost, with compensation. The same things that made you cry are about to make you laugh; the same people that mocked you are about to celebrate you; the same people that rejected you are about to accept you.

In the same places where doors were shut at you, the doors are about to be opened. In the same places where your abilities and skills were disregarded, you will be called into the mountain of relevance and influence. The same things that hurt you badly will soon be reasons for you to be congratulated. The same opportunities that were beyond your reach will soon be within your reach. Your valley will witness a new celebration.

Go and announce to those who have seen your tears, shame, failures, setbacks, delays, denials, etc: a new story is about to emerge, your status is about to change, the pains of the past will soon be replaced with tales of joy and laughter, the negative labels will soon be replaced with positive testimonies; and in the same places where you had negative outcomes, get set for positive results that God is about to shower you with.

You may be in the valley, but your story will change for good in that valley. You may be in the valley, but in that same place of reduction, your increase is imminent.

Zephaniah 3: 19 says: “Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.”

Declare With Me: In my valley of dry bones, I receive my miracles, in Jesus’ name!

Experience: Senator Orji Kalu Donates Solar Power Worth #20m To Kuje Prison Community

By Philip Odion

I was compelled to write about what Senator (Dr.) Orji Uzor Kalu did for Kuje Prison because I witnessed a bit of it. My cousin is currently in Kuje prison as an inmate. Also, my townsman is a prison officer in Kuje. Through the two, I was able to get the details of the event that I now share with you.

Senator Orji Kalu

I had gone to Kuje to deliver food to my cousin. As I was being searched at their front desk area, preparatory to letting me into the complex, suddenly, Senator Kalu arrived. There were some heightened activities and movements signalling that an important government official had arrived. The warder in charge of the arrival hall quickly waved me to a corner and motioned for me to be quiet and to wait for the August guest to be received.

Orji
Orji at Prison

The Officer in Charge of the Prison and other prison officers came out to receive the Senator. They all went into the office. Then I heard the warders saying among themselves that Senator Kalu had come to inspect the solar electric power he installed for the prison. This happened last weekend.

As I sat in the waiting area for my cousin to be called out, I saw the Senator, led by the Officer in Charge and followed by other officers, all going into the prison yard. When my cousin came out to meet me, I asked him what was going on. By then the Senator was already inside the yard and I could hear the loud shouts of excitement as the inmates and warders were jubilating and calling the Senator’s name. My cousin explained to me why everybody was excited.

I learnt that since December last year when Senator Kalu arrived in the prison, he practically changed the lives of the inmates in every conceivable way. He paid the legal fees of scores of inmates. He helped many more to perfect the conditions of their bails and to regain their freedom. Every inmate with a problem only needed for the Senator to hear his problem and something would be done to help.

Liverpool Beaten 0-4 By Man-City Days After Crowned Champions.

It’s unbelievable that few days after Liverpool of England won to become the current Champions, they have been humbled/humiliated by Man City 4-0 Liverpool.

According to The Guardian, City win this skirmish after Liverpool have already settled the campaign. In that sense, what happened here today doesn’t matter. But Liverpool will be at least slightly miffed at being dismantled by their nearest rivals, especially as they contributed to their own defeat with some uncharacteristically shambolic defending Gomez and Robertson were all over the shop, and Mané and Firmino were ragged up front.

City were technically excellent at times, with De Bruyne, Sterling and Foden all excellent and Rodri a constant influence. It’ll be interesting to see how Liverpool react to this: shrug it off and let the rest of the season fizzle out? Or come back and annihilate poor old Aston Villa on Sunday? There’ll be personnel changes for that game, I’ll wager.

He, however, thanked the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma for intervening and resolving the issues resulting in the restoration of calm and peace in the sector.

On the sack of over 2,500 members of the NURTW Chief Okafor maintained his stand of denial and said that was fake/false news and advised such people to desist from such act.

According to Newsbreak, The manager said the purportedly sacked NURTW workers are still on their duty posts, but stated that there was no way those who short-changed government in the past would be allowed to continue in their dastardly act.
He disclosed that by his appointment, all the unions namely NURTW, NARTO and RETAN had been brought under his watch to make for seamless management of motor parks in order to boost IGR of the state.
Chief Okafor, who is a Director of Lasvegas West African Ltd promised to bring his wealth of knowledge to bear on parks management in the state, having performed same task successfully in Anambra State.
He therefore enjoined all the unions and stakeholders to work in synergy with him to ensure his innovations bear fruits in the interest of the state.

In his remarks, the Operations Manager, ITC, Uche Onuka clarified that ITC had not been concessioned to Lasvegas West African Ltd, saying that the governor only appointed Chief Okafor to manage affairs of the company and parks in the state.
Onuka lauded the state governor for not concessioning ITC like his predecessors did, stressing that concessioning brought a lot of challenges in the company.

He said the ITC was happy at Chief Okafor’s appointment and enjoined those spreading rumour that government had concessioned the company to desist forthwith.

Igbo Business Men: Sudden Wealth and Their Money Rituals!

-Timothy Anietie

This is probably the most difficult writeup I’ve done in recent times, but don’t leave me yet…

You see, I love the Igbo tribe so much that I had to write Jamb three times and insisted on studying in an Igbo speaking state… Unfortunately, UNN and ESUT refused me admission, while I rejected to study Chemical Engineering in The Federal Polytechnic, Afikpo; Ebonyi State.

I’ve lived, mingled and transacted with lots of my Igbo business men and one thing stands out…

They are all ritualist…

A friend recently had a printing contract, and needed to come to Lagos to buy some of the things, like papers et all…

So, he approached the Mushin Market, with his well starched, ironed with visible contour; and a beautiful pair of shoe..

With high shoulder, he stepped out of the house to the admiration of street babes. To him, going to buy materials worth almost 500k was a big deal, but he came back feeling slightly depressed…

Da, what’s wrong, I asked politely having observed his mood, For some minutes, he couldn’t say anything, So I thought he’s been duped and brainwashed not to tell anyone,,,

You know the games na..

In the end, he said mildly; Da, fear igbo men ooo…

What happened, I asked again? His response made me laugh so loud…If you see what I saw today eh! After I made a transfer to the guy for the 250k Papers I bought, for him to confirm the money has entered; he showed me the alert, and my eyes went to the account balance…

Bro, I saw 50million plus in the guy’s account… I mean, this guy was wearing bathroom slippers, Short and a small t-shirt. There must be something else he does, He must be a “ritualist”… I immediately reacted in defense of the guy…

This mindset has been nurtured for too long by people of different tribes. In my over 10years of associating with Igbo friends, I have been able to confirm that they are all positive “ritualist”…

May be we all need to look up the meaning of rituals…

The sudden wealth of an Igbo man is as a result of years of accumulation. Igbo Business men who are already Millionaires will still look like one who hasn’t seen N1 in a whole year…

They don’t live in an expensive house while trying to build wealth. They don’t buy the most expensive cars when trying to build wealth, if they do during Christmas, they are selling it in January when they return from the village…

They don’t go for expensive clothes while trying to build wealth…They don’t impress babes with money, while trying to build wealth…

But, the moment they’ve accumulated enough, everything mentioned above will be done in double of what anyone else has been doing, They have a life ritual to build wealth…

They have healthy competition among themselves, if you think I’m lying, go to Anambra and see houses…

The major ritual of an Igbo Business man is patience, while building…

That is why, whenever I go to their shops and they call me my oga, I will quickly return it to them… Igbo man will respect and almost worship you just to sell his goods to you, but meet outside his shop, he tells you; get away there!

The sudden wealth of an Igbo Business man is as a result of many years of savings, and investment rituals. So, next time you hear anyone telling you, Igbo Business men are “ritualist”, be proud to let them know they are…

Because it takes strong ritual sacrifices in patience, savings and investment to build sustainable wealth…

If you are an Igbo Business man here, biko share to inspire your other brothers and let the world know that your rituals are positive rituals of patience, savings and investment…

One love my Igbo brothers…

The lawyer in submission continued that Gen Okiti is the bread winner of his family and that a “career built for 35years is coming to an end is very sad note”.

However the Mr. Olorundare said they will a representation to the appropriate convening authority to note that his client did not steal the money as he was the one who reported the incident and sourced for the money and returned it, so there is a great need for the second look at this judgement.
