Ideato North 2023: Ngoforo Receives Massive Endorsement,Vows To End APC’s Poor Representation In The Constituency

By Sampson Emenike

A frontline aspirant for Ideato North Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Franklin Ngoforo, has bemoaned the level of infrastructural decay in the area and said that the representation which the ruling APC has offered Ideato people in the past years can best be described as cruel.

Ngoforo, who stated this while consulting with grassroots leaders from his immediate community, Ndi-Uche in Arondizuogu on Saturday, also urged the people to permanently bring the era of APC in Ideato North to an end in 2023.

“We now have an obligation to stop this misery in Ideato North. What the APC has done to our people is unthinkable. It is cruel and it is unacceptable. The RAMP road projects which the PDP administration under our leader, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, brought to this community were cancelled by the incumbent regime of the APC. Take a look at the havoc being wreaked on Urualla by erosion. The PDP administration paid the counterpart fund for the NEWMAP project to end the erosion. But this same APC cancelled the project.

“Our Local Government Area is supposed to have received a total of N3.6 billion from the Federation Account in the last two years. Go to the headquarters and see for yourself how dilapidated everywhere is. We must ask them to account for our money. The secretariat building which the Ihedioha Administration almost completed just in seven months has today been abandoned to rot away,” he said.

Continuing, Ngoforo lamented that “most communities in Arondizuogu have not seen electricity for many years while the rest have not even been electrified at all. This is very provocative. The stadium which the Ihedioha Administration brought to Ideato North, which today would have helped in harnessing the local talents in sports, has been abandoned. How can you solve insecurity without first channeling the creative energies of the youths into useful and productive ventures?

“Ideato North alone has over 35% of all the comatose industries in Imo state, and the reason for this is that the associated infrastructure needed for industrialization is now absent in our land. What else is the purpose of political representation if not to articulate the needs of the people and provide solutions through the instrumentality of legislation? They have rendered our land desolate, but the time has come for everyone to join the PDP in order to forever end this agony brought to us by the APC,” Ngoforo appealed.

The leaders and stakeholders took turns to endorse the candidacy of Ngoforo and to pour encomiums on the youthful real estate champion, describing him as the most suitable for the job.

In a similar consultation with the leadership of the PDP in Izuogu Ward 1, Ngoforo harped on the need to rev up the evangelism for the ongoing PDP E-Registration Exercise.

“Today, I have bought more phones and brought more funds in addition to my donations last week, so that we could engage more Ward Registration Agents. This will make it easier and faster. We have to come all out and be proud to evangelize for our party. You also recall that I have set prizes for those who register the highest number of members. We all as PDP must realize that we have a duty to mobilize the people and make them conscious of the ongoing bad governance in our land. We must show a direction and lead the way. That way is the PDP,” he ddeclared.

2023 Presidency: Africa, Nigeria’s Geopolitical Zones Adopts Amechi

2023 Presidency: Africa, Nigeria’s geopolitical zones adopt Amaechi as their presidential hopeful…. Review Committee to submit reports on strategies to revive, rescue Nigerians from insecurity and poverty… As Eze commends Daura Emirate Council for honouring, adopting Minister as a trustworthy son

As political gladiators, power-drunk politicians, strategists, lobbyists and partisan agents continue to engage critical stakeholders by way of consultations on behalf of their principals ahead of the 2023 Presidential contest, the coast seems clear for Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, erstwhile Governor of Rivers State and incumbent Minister of Transportation to succeed President Mohammadu Buhari as virtually all sections of the country, including the African community have given a nod to his great potentials and endorsed him to take Nigeria to the next level.

In a press release made available to Gisthub24.com and signed by A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, said Amaechi, a two-time Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, two-time Governor of Rivers State, member of the Federal Executive Council serving out his second term as Minister of Transportation and the only African to lead a Presidential Campaign to oust a ruling party from power, was reappointed in 2019 to lead the same Presidential Campaign Organisation to retain power after a successful first term bid of President Mohammadu Buhari.

Eze said aside being the only Nigerian to lead the Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly and thereafter Nigeria Governors Forum, Amaechi has earned himself a permanent place in history as the only Nigerian Minister to be awarded the best Minster of the decade.

In a statement made available to media houses, Eze highlighted that the ace Rivers-born politician is sufficiently stocked with all that are needed to make all-round positive impacts and achieve a multi-sectoral results within record time as Nigerian President.

Consequent upon his sterling leadership model and commitment to national service and the development of the African region, the party Chief said the Blue Economy Forum, ABEF has nominated Amaechi for the Maritime Security category of the Blue Economy in Africa award in recognition of his efforts in the development of the maritime sector especially, his
introduction and implementation of deep blue security project.

The award according to the organizers, “…is in recognition of his role in the introduction and implementation of deep blue security project which has led to a marked reduction in the incidences of piracy at sea and overall improvement of maritime security across the Gulf of Guinea.”

The award will be presented to the Minister on March 12, 2022, at a public event in Nairobi, Kenya alongside Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio, who will be clinching the award for ‘champion of Blue Economy in Africa’ category.

Raila Odinga, former Prime Minister of Kenya was also nominated for the Livelihood Improvement category for promoting programs and efforts to improve livelihood and social inclusion in coastal communities in Kenya through harnessing blue economy opportunities
in tourism, transport and aquaculture.

Amaechi is not only an International citizen but also an outstanding Nigerian Leader whose selflessness and patriotic zeal has caused the Daura Emirate Council resolve to turban him as the Dan Amanar Daura, meaning Trustworthy Son of Daura thereby making him not only a title holder in one of the most outstanding Emirates in Nigeria but a respected son of Katsina, a state known for producing outstanding political leaders in Nigeria, including the last two Presidents from then Northern extraction – Late President Unaru Musa Yardua and incumbent President, Mohammadu Buhari, a one one time Military Head of State of Nigeria. General Yar’adua, ranked as one of the greatest military and political leaders in Nigeria is also from Katsina.

The ceremony, which will be performed by the Emir of Daura, His Royal Highness Alh. (Dr.) Umar Farouk Umar, CON, on 5th February, 2022, has been described in some quarters as an informal introduction of the next President of Nigeria come 2023.

“The title, ‘Dan Amanar Daura’ to be conferred on the former Rivers State governor, literally means ‘The Confidant of Daura’”

Aside from this historical events, the South East is also claiming that Amaechi is one of their sons, married to one of the most awesome daughters of the Igbo extraction in the person of Dame Judith Amaechi.

On the other hand the South West is also maintaining that none of the sections of this country will take away their son from them. They insist that apart from the fact that his name is ROTIMI, Amaechi has treated the zone fairly. They posit that the Transportation Minister has revived the economy of their zone by providing the best railway system across the states in their area. “Amaechi need not worry himself about the support of the Zone as they are never known as ingrates”.

Similarly, the South South people have continually said they can only thank all the zones for the supports they have ceaselessly showered on their son and assures that the Transportation Minister will not disappoint Nigeria and Nigerians given his readiness to recreate the magic he performed while as Governor of Rivers State and as Nigeria’s Minister.

Supporting the views of the Northern region of Nigeria on Amaechi, the Coalition of Northern Youth for Good Governance has endorsed Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, to succeed the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) in 2023.

According to the group, at 56, Amaechi does not have the burden of old age-related health challenges associated with some aspirants. In this regard, the National Coordinator of the group, Bilal Dakiyak while addressing Journalists in Abuja recently, said Amaechi is the best man to sustain President Buhari’s momentum of diversification and economic reform.

“For the purpose of continuity, the Coalition of Northern Youth for Good Governance has a preference that the All Progressive Congress continues its run in office.

“That way Nigeria will not suffer losses that arise because of the government of different political party deciding not to press ahead with the policies and projects inaugurated by the outgoing government. It is on record that Nigeria has lost much to the lack of continuity in government.

Not minding all these facts, Amaechi is a friend of the north in addition to having the right connection with the South-West, South-East and his south-south geo-political region. He is a fair-minded person and will be kind to all Nigerians, especially when he has repeatedly proven that has no religious discriminations.”

As Nigerians await his formal declaration, Eze Commends the Daura Emirate Council and the Africa Blue Economy Forum for rewarding competence by finding Amaechi fit for the turbaning and award investiture and calls on all and sundry to keep praying for the enthronement of a man with the right frame of mind, perception and sound leadership mentality as Nigeria’s next President in 2023 while suing for patience to allow the Committee comprising of some of the best brains in Nigeria set up to develop a strategic action plan to revive and rescue Nigerians from insecurity and poverty in line with the vision and mission of Amaechi to achieve his type of Nigeria that will standout in the comity of nations to complete their task and for Amaechi to act accordingly.

2023: Northern Group Endorses Amaechi As Buhari’s Successor

2023: Northern group endorses Amaechi as Buhari’s successor

The Coalition of Northern Youth for Good Governance has endorsed Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, to succeed the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) in 2023.

According to the group, at 56, Amaechi does not have the burden of old age-related health challenges associated with some aspirants.

Addressing journalists in Abuja on Monday, the National Coordinator of the group, Bilal Dakiyak, said Amaechi is the best man to sustain President Buhari’s momentum of diversification and economic reform.

He, however, called on Amaechi to waste no time by formally declaring his intention to contest for the top job in the country.

He said, “The process for the selection and eventual election of this successor in the 2023 General Elections is already on.

“We have consequently critically assessed the eminent Nigerians that have indicated their interest to contest for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and have zeroed in on the Honourable Minister of Transport, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi.

“Mr. Rotimi Ameachi straddles the age divide as he is between those that are considered too old for the job or too young and inexplicably inexperienced. At 56 years, he is easily the connection between the youth and the older generation. As a bonus, while we concede that it is God that gives good health, Ameachi does not have the burden of old age-related health challenges that Nigerians are concerned about in some candidates.

“Amaechi is a friend of the north in addition to having the right connection with the South-West, South-East and his south-south geo-political region. He is a fair-minded person and will be kind to all Nigerians, especially when he has repeatedly proven that has no religious discriminations.”

The Ongoing Terrorism In Abate Community Of Anambara State

– Igbo Di Uso

There has been an ongoing act of Terrorism in Abatete, Idemili North, Anambra state which seems to be beyond the elders and Igwe in council of the community.

A certain man whose name was simply given by our source as Chinedu Unachukwu from Ogbu village in Abatete who works locally as artisan in the community has been lured by some other indigenes, Kenechukwu Enyokwa, Ifeanyi Enyokwa and Onyeka Enyokwa with a pretext of having a job to contract to him, the 3 brothers including Chinedu all hail from the same village (Ogbu)

On that fateful day around early December 2021 Chinedu followed the 3 brothers as they invited him to see a job, hoping he was about to earn some money.

Incidentally the tune of the music changed as they got to a bush path where they started to beat him as they were joined by a group of thugs they organised and whose identity are still unknown.
While they beat him with 2×2 timber they also made a video of the devilish act, according to them his offence was that he insulted their father, Mr Anthony Enyokwa popularly called Oku, the allegation was that their father was insulted by Chinedu at a village meeting which Chinedu vehemently denied doing, though his denial of the of the act didn’t stop them , they continued beating him, robbed him of his phone and some undisclosed cash amount he had with him at the time. Chinedu managed to escape for his life on that fateful day.

However the recorded video leaked as the gang shared it amongst their friends.

The video was also posted on the Abatete Community platform on Facebook; Abatete Abanna (Obodo oma)
Yet no one seamed to have understood the magnitude of the issue.

The Ogbu village chairman, Mr Chekwubechukwu Morah who apparently was the one who took Chinedu to the hospital for treatments after the encounter has not been able to do much since the people involved are viewed as notorious and somewhat untouchable.
The President General of the community, Chief Law Okoye is aware of the case. The traditional ruler himself, Igwe Engr Emeka Efobi according to our source is also aware of what is going on though he resides in the United States and no actions has been impacted from his end.

The police have not been able to do anything as well despite several reports of threats of Chinedu’s life by the gang. The case was also reported at the state CID according to our source.

He has since escaped to an unknown destination for safety, though he’s still very apprehensive.

How long will Chinedu hide for? What crime did he commit that he’ll have to run from his own father land?
All these questions remain unanswered.

Looming War Between Russia, Ukraine And NATO Allies And It’s Effects To Nigeria

How it will affect Nigeria.

  1. Yesterday the Prime Minister of UK Boris Johnson meet with Zelensky the president of Ukraine over the looming war. In the meeting, UK primer minister confirmed the shipment of military equipments and a total of 88 millon Euros from UK to Ukrainian army and to enhance Ukraine economy.

Over 4,000 Russian armies are already in the borders of Ukraine waiting for the next command from President Putin.

World powers like America, France, England, Germany with NATO allies have dispatch troops with heavy military equipments to Ukraine for a fatal response if Russia finally invades Ukraine in the middle of this month.

If this happens then what you just sighted is 3rd world war. Its advisable for every body in Nigeria to make a shift because Russia will likely test nuclear weapon in the most populated country of Africa like they wanted to do in 1984.

Imo PDP And Lessons From Ngor-Okpala State Primary Election

By Collins Opurozor

Every institution reveals itself in what it upholds and honours. When the current leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo came onboard, the State Chairman, Engr. Charles Ugwuh, never spared a moment in declaring that he had come to rebuild the opposition party. In keeping with this declaration, Ugwuh, a man of peerless integrity, immediately set in motion various measures aimed at expanding the democratic space within the party. Today, there is a PDP in Imo which is a model in democratic organization.

The PDP’s primary election for Ngor Okpala State Constituency By-election has come and gone. Jeff Emeka Nwachukwu emerged victorious and has become the flag bearer of the party. He is a young man who is driven by a sincere desire to speak for his people and to work tirelessly to alleviate mass misery. He is smart, intelligent, competent and parades a long and rich history of probity, Godliness, meekness and genuine love for his people. Every aspiration of Ngor Okpala to have a bold, eloquent, passionate and informed representative in the House of Assembly has found realization in Jeff Nwachukwu.

The outpouring of jubilations throughout Ngor Okpala immediately the outcome of the primary election was announced only proved that the verdict of the delegates was indeed expressive of the people’s collective expectation. More so, the willingness of the other aspirants to accept the result and to pledge to work for the victory of the PDP demonstrated their abiding faith in the fairness and credibility of the process.

In the remotest parts of Ngor Okpala, the success of the PDP in midwifing a process that saw the people’s voices heard, which ensured that votes were not just counted but that votes actually counted, reverberated and was celebrated.

What therefore remains on the lips of every observer is the transparency which the PDP brought to bear in the very competitive exercise. For Imo people, the story that has come out of Ngor Okpala is a fit testimony to the loftiness of the vision of the leadership of the PDP in the state and the party’s fidelity to refined democratic values. In a state where those in power have diminished the quotient of public expectations, dismantled democratic institutions and run the brutal version of fascist rule, the PDP has become a light at the end of the tunnel and an oasis in the desert.

The shame, however, is that the APC in Imo has eventually resorted to fetish rituals over the very same primary election in Ngor Okpala. Every now and then, their leaders are reportedly seen at Alaogbaga Shrine where they administer blood oaths to their delegates. Some other leaders of the party are in Abuja, contriving to impose a candidate on the locals. Worse still, the man whom they are bent on imposing on themselves as candidate currently has a murder case hanging around his neck. This is terrible! By destroying themselves and consuming their own kind, and elevating a killer-in-chief to represent them, the APC in Imo has become like a sea of barracudas.

The forthcoming by-election in Ngor Okpala has become a poster boy for everything wrong with the APC in Imo state. People whose souls are committed to the kingdom of Satan and who besiege dreaded deities to feast happily on human blood cannot be expected to deliver good governance to the people of God. The by-election will therefore serve as a protest by the people of Ngor Okpala, that never will killers, bandits, ritualists and bloodsuckers rule over their land. Never!

Imo people have reasons to keep faith with the PDP, aware that with the party all dreams for a great Imo which brims with peace, equity and progress and in which the people have a voice and a stake in the process of governance shall come to fruition. Every institution reveals itself in what it upholds and honours.

  1. 2023: NGOFORO COLLAPSES IDEATO NORTH FOR PDP, DOLES OUT FUNDS FOR PDP E-REGISTRATION TARGETS TWO THOUSAND MEMBERS FOR PDP PER WARD

By Emenike Sampson

A real estate mogul, Franklin Ngoforo, has declared his interest to represent Ideato North State Constituency in the Imo House of Assembly on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, come 2023.

Ngoforo made his aspiration known while consulting with his ward executive, Izuogu Ward 1, of Arondizuogu clan in Ideato North LGA on Saturday. He decried the level of poor representation in Ideato North, pointing out that virtually all the sectors of the local economy are currently comatose as a result of bad governance. He further fumed that the potentials of the area remain untapped, and infrastructural decadence has become a norm, and tasked the people to resist every pressure to settle for the less come 2023.

“I have come today to chart a way forward with my people. For us to get the victory we so desire, we must first work to rebuild and expand our party, the PDP. Today, I shall commence a strong and dedicated movement to raise two thousand members for our party in each ward in Ideato North. I’m releasing immediately enough money to facilitate the mobilization of all members in the five wards of Izuogu Ward 1, Izuogu Ward 2, Ndimoko Ward, Ndiheme Ward, and Uzii/Umualaoma Ward for the ongoing E-Registration Exercise.”

He continued, ” The purpose is to tackle all logistical challenges associated with the process and to motivate the operators of the process. I have also set out prizes for the first three persons to mobilize the greatest numbers to register with our party in Izuogu Ward 1. We must make a statement that, Ideato North belongs to PDP, and the dividends which the party while in power brought to our people were unprecedented.

“When the PDP was in power, we all saw the landmark projects which our leader, the Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, brought to Ideato North. He empowered our people and ran an administration that gave us a pride of place. It is time for us to reorganize ourselves, bring all of our people into the PDP to demonstrate that the injustice meted out to him was deeply provocative to all of us and it must be corrected at the polls,” Ngoforo said.

He further promised to acquire more gadgets for the Ward Registration Agents and encouraged the members of the party to call on him whenever they need any assistance that will lead to the growth of the party in Ideato North.

Ebubeagu: Umahi Condemns Killings, Burning Of Houses, Others In Ebonyi Community

  1. Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, on Monday, condemned Sunday killings, burning of houses, vehicles and other valuable property at Akaeze, in the Ivo Local Government Area of the state.
  • He also vehemently frown at the alleged torture to death of one Mr Nnaogo Anyim by suspected operatives of the Ebubeagu Security Network in the area and vowed to remove them from the outfit.
The governor also maintained that they would be prosecuted, saying life was very sacred that nobody had the right to take it.
Umahi stated this in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity,Francis Nwaze, on Monday.
According to the statement, “The Ebonyi State Governor, His Excellency, David Nweze Umahi, has condemned the recent hostility in Akaeze, Ivo Local Government Area, which has led to loss of lives.
“Governor Umahi condemned the incident when he paid an on-the-spot visit to Akaeze to assess the level of carnage as a result of the violence, on Monday.
“Governor Umahi frowned at the needless burning of the Akaeze Police Station and property of the Chairman of Ivo Local Government Area as well as a Development Centre Coordinator, by the irate youths.
“He directed the prompt arrest of those involved in the dastardly act captured in the video which has been circulating on the social media where axe-wielding persons were seen using the weapon on a human being to underscore the sanctity of human lives.”
The statement further quoted Umahi as saying, “I feel so sad over the couple of incidents that happened in this place. In the first place, I condemn the viral video that was making the rounds where somebody was using an axe on a fellow human being.
“My position is that life is sacred and all those people that did that, whether they are in Government, whether they are Ebubeagu, whether they are stakeholders must be prosecuted immediately.
“There is no reason in this matter that should warrant anybody to take law into their hands, at the end of time we are going to be accountable to God.
“It is important to note that Ebubeagu is a security outfit backed by law and it will not be disbanded but any Ebubeagu member that violates the law will go in for it.
“The law on Ebubeagu is very clear, just like there are bad elements in other security forces and within the society, there may be bad eggs in Ebubeagu but my position is that the bad eggs in Ebubeagu must be identified and removed.”

ANAMBRA: How A Boy Was Beaten To Death By His Teacher In Mission School

A boy was beaten to death by his teacher in St valerian School Akpaka, Onitsha. Catholic priest incharge of the school gave the family 200k naira, told them to bury the child and forget about the case

Police was not involved & the child Izuchukwu Onwualu has been buried.

Izuchukwu David Onwualu, an 11-year-old JSS 1 student at St.Valerian Catholic School in Onitsha, Anambra State, has allegedly died after maltreatment by a female basic science teacher in the school. But the school, in an attempt to cover up the case, gave the boy’s father some money and hurriedly buried the boy.

Dubem Onwualu Christopher, the deceased’s father, said he took his son to the school on a motorcycle on Tuesday morning, only to see him writhing in pain in the evening.

“I left the school to where my wife and I sold carbonated drinks near my house,” he told FIJ.

Christopher said he was in the market to get beverages for dinner when his wife called that his son was not feeling fine. On getting home, he met david writhing in pain. “My wife was pouring water on him and, at the same time, crying for help,” he said.

David’s classmates were present, said Christopher, and they revealed it was their basic science teacher that maltreated him. The students, in a clip, revealed that the teacher repeatedly hit Izuchukwu with a plastic bottle on his head. According to them, the teacher was angry because he did not do his assignment.

David would later be made to do the assignment on the spot. Nobody did anything while our teacher was flogging him,” one of David’s classmates says in a video obtained by FIJ. “She was always flogging him when he misbehaved. If he wrote slowly, she flogged him. If she played roughly, she flogged him.”

“When she was flogging him, she did not know he would hit his head on the wall. She flogged him, but he was not crying, so she kept flogging him to make sure he cried. During the flogging, he broke free and hit his head on the wall.”

David’s classmates later disclosed that he was complaining of a headache after the incident.

FROM SCHOOL CLINIC TO BORROMEO SPECIALIST

FIJ learned that David was rushed to the school clinic but the attendant was nowhere to be found. Then one student carried him home on his back.

“My son was talking like someone who had lost his brain,” said Christopher. “Soon, his eyes turned white and very scary. Immediately I took him to a nurse in Apaka, but she could not attend to us.”

Christopher said he took his son to St. Borromeo Catholic Specialist Hospital in the evening, where he was given injections and drips. “The doctor said the treatment was to slightly relieve him before we took him to Nnewi Teaching Hospital as he would suggest,” he said.

The consultant at Borromeo gave them a medical report to present at the teaching hospital.

Meanwhile, the medical report issued at Borromeo revealed that the boy suffered a traumatic head injury.

“On getting to Nnewi, I presented the report, and they allowed us in. The doctor flashed a torch at my son, checking his hands and eyes,” the deceased’s father said. “Suddenly, he told me to take him to where I was coming from.”

Christopher said he pleaded with the doctor to put David on oxygen, but his request was turned down. Still hopeful, he took him to New Hope Hospital in Onitsha, where he would later be confirmed dead around 4:00 am the following day.

The deceased’s mother has been unconscious since her son’s death. She has been crying profusely, according to her husband.

‘WE WILL GIVE HIM A BEFITTING BURIAL’

Rev Father Ezeanyi Victor, the school proprietor, two other priests, staff members and a few students of the school visited David’s residence to console his family and bury him, Onwualu Ifeanyi Emmanuel, a member of the family, told FIJ.

According to him, the delegates dismissed claims that the boy was victimised in the school, but asked that everything be solved amicably.

“They came on Wednesday with some students to bury Izuchukwu,” Emmanuel said. “Some of the staff were remorseful, but the reverend father said the boy was only beaten on his back, not the head.”

“Prior to this, they argued that nobody beat Izuchukwu. Later they shifted ground, saying he did not hit his head on the ground. They said Izuchukwu, while trying to escape, climbed a fence and fell.”

Despite the school’s argument, they offered a N200,000 compensation to the family, the boy’s father said.

“They promised to come back to us but they did not,” he said.

Christopher also said when he called the reverend father on Sunday to complain about his wife’s condition, he told him he was not around.

FIJ also contacted Fr. Victor, but he shunned questions about the incident and asked our reporter to travel down to Onitsha for any information.

Ikenganyia Anthony, the Anambra police spokesman, said he was not aware of such an incident, but promised to investigate the matter.

My Evangelism Experience In The Most Dangerous Place In Port Harcourt – Ukasoanya

MY EXPERIENCE

I remember vividly, a setting time when i went to a street in Diobu Port Harcourt for Evangelism, getting their, i saw different kind of people, i saw many cultists, both male and female, some were smoking weed and India hemp, others were drinking hot alcoholic drinks, while the remaining ones were pouring their rotations, slangs and chanting.

The waterside is another world on its own, filled with different kind of people, most of them hearts are sealed with hot iron, there conscience are dead already, there hearts are hardened and they are always ready to kill and shed blood.

Getting their, i was so confused on whom to preach to, fear gripped me, my legs were vibrating, i was asking myself what really brought me here? Then the Holy Spirit ministered to me and directed me to a girl, i approach and greeted her, she took time to respond, can i please talk to you about Jesus, i asked? She said NO, please i won’t take much time, i insist, she still say No, i asked but WHY? Her response was really funny,

she said because she was Hungry and she wants to eat, she said if i must preach to her then i must buy her food, this looks strange, it has never happened to me before, but God helping me, i was having #300 in my pocket, that money was to be used for something already budgeted for, there was nothing else to do, i had no choice than to ask her what she really wanted to eat, and she replied, INDOMIE, i gave her the money to go get INDOMIE FOR HERSELF, she took the money but refuses to go, i asked what is holding you, any other thing? She said Yes, for her to go I MUST FOLLOW HER, I shouted at the top of my voice, Me, follow you??

It was really annoying and irritating, i was very angry and about leaving her to another person but the Spirit of God ministered to me, FOLLOW HER, I had no choice than to follow her down to the water side, people started hailing her and asking if am her new boy friend, she will quickly reply, Yes ooo, they will say your boy friend is tall and cute oo, him gather.. she will say Thank you nah God give me, i really felt bad and was regretting my coming to preach in that particular waterside. As a preacher that have preached in so many Markets, Schools, Churches, Streets, Buses, I have never heard such experience before😢

We got to a shop, the shop doesn’t look like a place they do sell food stuffs, all i saw was Cigarette, hot drinks and people smoking and drinking, she brought out the #300 i gave to her, she bought #300 hot drinks, sachet Chelsea missed with dogoyaro and she began drinking it, and she asked if i would drink? Man of God take small nah for stomach sake, That act alone was the most painful part of my Experience with her, my God…., i felt like hitting her my bible and thoroughly beat the hell out of her or conduct special deliverance on her but the Spirit of God still want me to preach to her.

After all her funny attitudes and displays, she said Oya man of God talk to me, i dey hear you, just go straight to the point no waste time at all, because time na Money.

I prayed and i started preaching, i preached to a point she was broken, and started crying, crying like a baby, she gave her life to Christ that day and i took her to a church close bye, prayed for her and she

received the Holy Ghost Baptism, not just that, she converted many of her friends to Christ, and till now they are still burning for Jesus even joining me in most of my Evangelical outreaches.

5 LESSONS I LEARNT AND TO LEARN

1. Be led by the Spirit
2. Be submissive to the leading of the Spirit.
3. Follow the leadings of the Spirit
4. I learnt PATIENCE
5. Endurance and Perseverance
6. Never go out to preach with an empty pocked.

PDP Mocks Buhari, APC Over Unveiling Of Bogus Rice Pyramids …Says They’re Pyramids Of Lies

Press Statement

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) mocks the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its government for staging another shameless media stunt to again beguile Nigerians ahead of 2023 elections with the unveiling of bogus rice pyramids in Abuja, which are now known as “pyramids of lies”.

Nigerians are already aware and the pictures abound of how the APC and its government “create” fake pyramids of rice with sandbags and re-bagged rice stacked on pyramid shaped wooden structures as busted in an APC-controlled state in the Southwest in 2018.

Of course, there is nothing to celebrate in the APC pyramid of lies in Abuja. It is rather shameful that APC leaders are again ridiculing President Muhammadu Buhari by making him unveil pyramids of allegedly imported foreign rice which are re-bagged as locally produced, just to create an impression of a boost in local production under his watch.

If indeed, there is a boost in local production of rice as the APC wants Nigerians to believe, how come the price of rice has not come down but continues to soar from about N8,000 per bag which the PDP handed over to the APC in 2015 to about N30,000 per bag today?

It is on record that the PDP turned the waterland of various states of our nation into huge rice production hubs with farms and mills springing up across the country, leading to a boost in local production, drastic drop in imports and the celebrated affordable prices of food products under the PDP administration.

Painfully, the APC, with its incompetence, counter-productive policies and incurable corruption reversed all the gains made by the PDP in the agricultural sector and triggered a decline in production which resulted in the high cost of food in our country today.

Nigerians can recall how APC-led administration failed to protect our farmers and particularly how it blamed over 40 rice farmers killed by terrorists in Borno state instead of going after their assailants.

The APC pyramids of lies are therefore nothing but huge signposts of their failures and irredeemable proclivity for lies, deception, beguilement and fake performance claims even in the face of unbearable high costs of food, 22.95 percent food inflation rate and our nation’s ranking as 98th out of 107 in Global Hunger Index.

It is clear that with the 2023 elections in sight, the APC is desperate in pushing its stock-in-trade, pyramid of lies, propaganda, deceit and bogus claims with which they stole power in 2015.

What the APC has not realized is that 2023 is not 2015. Nigerians have seen through APC deceits and not even these “pyramids of lies” can help the APC in 2023.

Signed:

Hon. Debo Ologunagba
National Publicity Secretary

Gov. Hope Uzodinma Two Years In Office And His 3R Achievements

Governor Hope Uzodinma recently marked his two years in the office as the executive governor of Imo State. This was greeted with mixed feelings from different quarters and angles, some commending the governor for his numerous achievement, others condemning the government and accusing them of doing less expected.

But the truth remains that the two years in office of governor Hope Uzodinma has achieved a lot considering some key projects completed already.

The governor who came in with a 3R mantra which represents ” Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Recovery has done well especially in the area of Rehabilitation.

Restoration Of Water Supply In Aladimma,World Bank, Orogwe.

Conducting newsmen round the facilities of Imo State Water And Sewage Cooperation head quarters in Owerri, the Managing Director Engr. Ugoanyanwu Emeka expressed gratitude to His Excellency Hope Uzodinma for reviving the cooperation after many years of abandonedment through his approval and purchase of some modern equipment to enable the cooperation function effectively.

The Director of Engineering in the cooperation Engr. Boniface Chukwudi Onyeji said water supply back in Aladimma, Orogwe, World Bank areas and the governor upon assumption of office procured new machines for Otamiri Water Treatment Facility which helped in reticulation of water to some parts of Owerri.

He further said the efforts are ongoing by the government to replace all damaged pipe which was done during the urban renewal programme of the previous administration which is the problem for some part yet to reticulate and every street in the municipality will get regular water supply.

Water treatment section of the Otamiri water scheme

Establishing the facts Gisthub24 gathered from the Director, Water Services in the Ministry of Water Resources and Power, Engr. Victor Shinobi admitted that water has been restored in some parts of Owerri even to the State Secretariat along Owerri-Port Harcourt Road, since the government of Send. Uzodinma rehabilitated the water scheme.
On a visit to the State Secretariat the Director electrical services in the Ministry of Power and Water Resources, Engr. Basil Okolie said coming on board of the present administration brought a huge relief to the ministries as the generator that powers the water scheme which was bad and abandoned for year has been rehabilitated, which also supplies power to the six blocks at the Secretariat, it will be noteworthy to state that the governor also restored general power supply (EEDC) to the Secretariat.

Some of rehabilitated and replaced Turbines @Otamiri

At Otamiri Water Scheme newsmen was contacted round the facilities and new machines and rehabilitated ones was on ground running, generating water and supplies to various division before finally released to the public, at the laboratory new testing machines, UPS, Refrigerator and other modern equipment of international standard which was procured by the Governor was on ground plus the expansion of the laboratory center.

The new laboratory at Otamiri water scheme furnished with world class equipment.

Traffic Light.
It was good note that the heavy traffic jams experience in the major towns of the state capital has reduced drastically due the installation of functional traffic lights at different junctions and locations, eg. IMSU junction, Govt. House junctions, Cherubim Junction, Old fire service junctions among others.
And this has reduced time always spend at such areas before the coming of this government, few people interviewed at Old Fire Service Junction thanked the governor for his good work and encourage h to look into rural roads.

Gisthub24.com media team also visited the rehabilitated Chukwuma Nwoha road where flood and dilapidated roads had caused untold hardship to the people of the area and they thanked God for coming to their aid through the governor.

How AGRI CROWDY Is Creating Wealth Through Virtual Farming Across Africa

By Gbenga Adeola

A few months ago, a younger friend of mine, Festus, told me he had become a farmer. I got to know Festus and he became close to me when I moved into my apartment in Orile, Lagos.

For all errands, he could be counted on. I had not taken him seriously when first he said he was a farmer. It is clear even a person with a poultry farm of just three birds could be a farmer, too.

And for Festus, a struggling boy of twenty-three, who had recently left the varsity and putting up with an uncle, being a farmer could simply mean owning a cockerel or two.

I remember on another Saturday I sent him to buy me petrol, he returned and the brief chat we had centered on his farm. I had asked him, “How is your farm and where in this Orile did you find space to start farming?” By the question, I had wanted Festus to confirm my suspicion that the talked-about farm of his was indeed a cage three birds. But what I heard shocked me.

Festus began to tell me about how he had used the portion of money saved from his allowances during national youth service to become a virtual farmer. I became confused. What again is virtual farmer?

He informed me that farming had gone online, that anyone who wanted to make real profit from agriculture could simply go online, put a little amount to purchase some newborns of an animal or some crops, and just sit back and be monitoring the entire thing mature, sold and high returns paid. He said that was what it meant to become a virtual farmer and that was what an agricultural firm called Agri Crowdy had been doing.

My interest in the whole idea grew. I went online and looked up for Agri Crowdy and ran onto their portal to read more. And I was fascinated by the seamless procedure that wealth creation had taken.

I made my first trial by purchasing ten piglets. I followed their growth on the investor portal on the website of Agricrowdy and just last week they reached market weight and sold. I got wonderful returns on my paltry investment sum.

I went to bed that night saying to myself that anybody who has a smart phone in this age has absolutely no reason to be poor. It is rather unfortunate that most young persons hardly care about how they could leverage the power of technology to turn around their economic circumstances. Instead, our youths mostly see the internet as a place of fun, yet the biggest economic opportunities on earth are today begging to be harnessed online. And Agri Crowdy is a perfect example in this regard.

What my experience with Agri Crowdy has taught me is that the world is getting smarter and activities are getting specialized everyday. To be a wealthy farm even as a worker, one no longer needs to share time and attention between one’s core job and farm. Expert farmers now focus on deploying their technical know-how to enduring accelerated agricultural productivity while enriching others who have investments in the entire agricultural value chain.

If our young ones who complain about unemployment or those who are low-income earners could rechannel the time and resources they squander on the internet into Agri Crowdy’s initiative for a food-secure and economically inclusive Africa with wealthy citizens, they actually will attain financial freedom and stamp poverty out of the continent.

PDP Governors Forum Issues A Communique At The End Of Their Meeting In Port Harcourt, Rivers State

PDP GOVERNORS

The PDP Governors’ Forum held its regular meeting crucial to the sustenance of our Democracy on Monday, 17th January, 2022, at the Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt, the first in the new year.

The meeting once again reviewed the state of the States, the state of the nation and THE PDP and issued the following Communique:

1. The PDP Governors congratulated the entire PDP family for conducting a smooth and credible National Convention that led to the emergence of the highly acclaimed Senator Dr. Iyorchia Ayu-led National Executive Committee and commended the new PDP NWC for hitting the ground running with respect to repositioning the PDP into a credible vehicle for RESCUING and REBUILDING Nigeria which has been battered by bad economy, insecurity, unemployment and other social ills by the incompetent and inept APC Administration.

2. The PDP Governors requested the National Assembly to quickly conclude deliberations on the Electoral Act Amendment Bill either by overriding Mr President’s veto or deleting areas of complaints. The meeting advised that the option of sustaining Mr President’s veto would lead to a quicker resolution and would deny Mr President the opportunity to once again truncate a reformed Electoral jurisprudence for Nigeria. An early concluded Electoral Act is vital for credible elections.

3. The meeting lamented the continued state of insecurity in the country, the persistent and ceaseless flow of Nigerians’ blood on a daily basis in many parts of Nigeria, the near collapse of the security situation in Nigeria. The strategies to confront terrorists, kidnappers, bandits and other criminals is still a major problem of the APC administration.

4. The meeting expressed regrets that Mr President is unwilling, from his recent comments discountenancing the proposals for state policing, to participate in reviewing the structural problems of tackling insecurity in Nigeria and urges Mr President to reconsider his position and consider decentralisation and restructuring of the security architecture as the most viable solution, together with proper arming, funding and training requirements for Security Agencies.

5. The Nigerian Economy has continued to deteriorate and Nigerians have become numb and accustomed to bad economic news as exemplified by the inconsistent and differential exchange rate regime, high interest rates, unsustainable unemployment figures and borrowing spree some of which have not been applied to important projects, and other bad economic indicators. In particular, it is clear that the APC Government is a massive failure when compared with the records of PDP in government. The PDP handed over a $550 billion economy (the largest in Africa), but under APC, Nigeria is the Poverty Capital of the world. In 2015, under PDP, the exchange rate was N198 per Dollar, it is now under APC almost N500 to a Dollar; In 2015, unemployment rate was 7.3% under PDP, it is now 33%, one of the highest in the world under APC; In 2015, the Pump price of Petroleum was N87 per litre, it is now N165 per litre and climbing under APC. Debt Servicing now under APC takes over 98% of the Federal budget. The tales of woe is endless.

6. The PDP Governors noted that the management of our Oil and Gas resources, the administration of Federation Account remittances have remained opaque, confusing and non – transparent. In addition, the transition to NNPC Ltd under the Petroleum Industry Act has not been properly streamlined to ensure that the interests of all the tiers of Government are protected, consistent with the 1999 Constitution.

7. The meeting urged eligible Nigerians of all walks of life, particularly the Youths, to register en masse with INEC to exercise their franchise in the 2023 general elections. It further noted that the next election is a very consequential election that should be used to end the dominance of very youth unfriendly APC Government; a government that had the arrogance to deny Nigerian youths of the use of TWITTER, a business friendly tool for the young, for over a year. The youths should empower themselves to determine who leads them.

8. The PDP Governors congratulated the Chief Host, His Excellency, Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, for the very high standards of hosting and for the great leadership performance he has entrenched in Rivers State.

9. The PDP Governors wished Nigerians and PDP Members a happy new Year.

Police, Anambara Govt Get Justice For Azubuike Nwokolo Who Died In A Hotel With Missing Private Part

Anambra businessman reportedly found dead in a hotel room; private part missing

Friends of a tailor identified as Azubuike Nwokolo aka Zubby More, are currently demanding Justice for him on social media after he was reportedly found de#d in a hotel room in Amichi, Anambra State.

According to a source, the father-of-two attended a party in the area on Thursday, January 13, and decided to lodge at a hotel when the unfortunate incident happened. “It was late in the night and he couldn’t go home so he decided to lodge at Udo Queens hotel in Amichi, Anambra State. He didn’t return home which got his family members worried.

A search was launched and it was discovered that he lodged in the hotel but the hotel management didn’t contact his family or the police before taking him to the morgue.

It was an anon that informed the family that their son was laying in the morgue. The family went to the morgue and found out that his testicles were missing. They confronted the hotel staff and were told that he slipped on the bathroom tiles and d!ed.

The family believes something is fishy as they found wounds on his body. They are appealing to the Anambra State police command to take up the case and ensure Justice is meted out to those responsible,” a source said.

Appointment Of Cubana Chief Priest, As SA On Social Media: Gov. Uzodinma, Still Recruiting Able Bodied Men, Or Sighing New Players.

By: Sam Onwuemeodo.

With the letter, dated 14th January, 2022, and signed by Chief Cosmas Iwu, Secretary to the Government of Imo State, Governor Hope Uzodinma appointed Chief Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu , aka, Cubana Chief Priest, his “Special Adviser on Social Media Influence”.

The appointment, according to the letter, began to run on Monday, January 10, 2022.

That is to say , Cubana Chief Priest had begun to work as the governor’s Special Adviser, four days , before his appointment, proper.

With this particular appointment or recruitment, Governor Uzodinma seems or appears not have known that, one does not build something, on nothing.

And l make hay to say this. The problem with Governor Uzodinma’s government, especially in the area of media or image making , can not be solved by one million Cubana Chief Priests . lt can only be solved by the governor himself, and only when he realises that, “It is neither by Power, nor by might”.

If before now, the governor had taken delivery of almost all the media guys who had held brief for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Imo and from other quarters , and the problem with the image of his government is still persisting, it then means that, the palaver is beyond the question of who has been hired or recruited and who has not been hired or recruited.

Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, Cubana Chief Priest, before this appointment, was a known Businessman, Show Promoter, and Entertainer. His net worth is 17.08 million Dollars. One of the big guys who believe that money talks.

Born on March 26, 1982. An indigene of Orsu Local Government, Imo State. And the Second Child of his Parents.

Before Governor Uzodinma’s appointment, the man had 3.5 million visitors on his official instagram page. Five Hundred thousand followers on facebook. And Seventy Thousand followers on a Chinese invented Social App, mainly for sharing videos.

All these must have made the Imo governor to appoint him, his Special Adviser on “Social Media Influence”.

But do you also know that, these millions or thousands of people that have been following him on facebook, Instagram, and so on, in his status as a businessman, Show Promoter, and Entertainer, could vamoose or disappear or exit overnight, because of his new found career or portfolio as Adviser to Governor Uzodinma?. This is not my prayer. But the possibility is there. We are only putting heads together for good.

And the problem, for which he was appointed to solve , would persist. Or, remain or continue. The aim of appointing him would be defeated or dashed.

And when that becomes the scenario, one could be forced to think that, the problem with Governor Uzodinma’s government, is beyond what anybody can do. Or, is capable of doing in the circumstance.

The refined utterances and people- oriented actions of Governor Uzodinma could be more productive or helpful, than ten thousand Cubana Chief Priests .

The governor’s right actions and guarded utterances, could do great things for his administration , than anything else. When he acts well his part and talks like a leader of men and women, things would begin to fall in line.

The great Cubana Chief Priest is our brother, from Orsu. He has been called or brought to serve his people. That’s a good one. But he has not been there with Uzodinma. He was not there when the “Corpse” was buried.

If you ask for my candid opinion, I would say that , the Chief Priest might not do much, because he didn’t know where the Corpse was buried or when and where the journey started. The problem. The philosophy or the policy. The framework or mission. Or, where the nail pinches Uzodinma and his government most.

The activities and utterances of Governor Uzodinma , are the problems of his government. This is my view. You may have your own.

So, the ball is in the governor’s Court. And not in the Court of any of his appointees , including the latest recruit, Cubana Chief Priest.

Governor Uzodinma must stoop low to overcome. To win. He must begin to act and talk like a lover or friend of his people. As the number one citizen of the State. And not like the Commander of army of occupation.

His body language must let his close aides know how he wants his government to function.

Before now, he had given the disturbing impression of a man at war with everybody. And his aides have been acting as such. Acting on that premise. Functioning in that manner.

The Imo governor should watch all his available videos or sit down to x-ray his speeches and actions, to see whether he had acted and spoken like a governor in a democracy or under a democratic setting.

Or, whether he had spoken and acted like someone who had conquered and dominated. And conquering and dominating are not democratic vocabularies. Not in the Dictionary of Democracy.

The solution to the government’s image problem is obviously not in recruiting more “able bodied men” or ” signing new players” . Taking the right actions, is the panacea. The antidote. And the governor should set the pace.

Half of his Commissioners were “donated” or “given” to him by some powerful guys up there. Those the governor thinks, can make things happen for him, now or in future. Things do not work that way.

A bad coach can make key professional players like, Ronaldo, Messi, Ronny, Henry, Etoo, and Iheanacho, lose to “Mbutu” United FC. Mbutu is my town .

Read my lips Correctly. Barcelona or Man U, with Oyupaa or Okirika wake-up Coach , can lose to one Local team.

Governor Uzodinma is the Chief Coach or Technical Adviser to lmo team . He should help his players or team.

He should give his government a direction. He should make things easy for his appointees and his government. With a good Coach, a left footer, can score with the right leg.

I wish you appreciate where I am coming from and where I am going from here.

If you had “bought” some key Imo PDP “Players” and some Okorocha’s “players”, yet , you could not score, you would have first found out why you could not score , before hiring or signing more new players.

Entertainment is different from Politics. They are two different photographs or pictures. The language of Entertainment media, is not akin with that of Politics. But they can be harmonized with the right approach and actions.

Even, accepting to be the Special Adviser to Governor Uzodinma on Social Media, could also cause media pains to Cubana Chief Priest. lt becomes a burden to him. And he would begin to lose the fans he had gotten over the years.

It took the Imo Governor eight months to appoint new Commissioners , after he had sacked the first set, in May 2021.

And nine months after Sacking the Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants, he is yet to appoint new ones or reappoint the old ones. Making the “huhuhu or ntamo” to gain momentum. All these have their effects , in the negative.

And you expect magic in terms of media management. I do not think so. And the money for the salaries and allowances of such appointees won’t come from the governor’s private purse or pocket. Then, why holding the appointments unto yourself?

Look at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church , Eziama – Obaire, invasion and abduction of Uche Nwosu. Was that necessary? What has the government gained from that, if not Condemnation?

Heaven only helps those who help themselves. That’s what we have been hearing, right from Childhood. And I have not got any reason to doubt that.

In other word, Cubana Chief Priest must help those who help themselves. I am talking about the Imo governor.

They would also say that, the name you give to your dog is what it answers. Would l have used “he or she” for dog? l do not think so. Hence, “it”. We are making progress. You know that Bekee wu agbara.

The name governor Uzodinma gave to his “dog” since January 2020 , is what it has been answering. To change the ugly name or narrative, would require new ways of doing things. The church would talk about fresh oil. New anointing.

David wrote “Some boast in Chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the LORD our GOD” (Psalm 20:7).

“This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubabel saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).

Let him that has ears, hear what the spirit of God is telling the Church of Christ, while we Continue to Clap for JESUS.

Imo: Two Years Of Desperate Usurpation,Bloodshed,Treasury Looting… Imo PDP

PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP), IMO STATE

PRESS STATEMENT

SEN. HOPE UZODINMA: TWO YEARS OF DESPERATE USURPATION, BLOODSHED, TREASURY LOOTING, STARVATION AND HOPELESSNESS.

The people of Imo State and Nigerians would recall that on January 14, 2020, a bizarre and controversial Supreme Court judgement truncated the popular gubernatorial mandate which Imo people had freely given to our party through our flagbearer, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON at the March 9, 2019 governorship election. That judgement also enthroned the generally disputed, illegitimate regime of Senator Hope Uzodinma.

Aside the adverse implications of that ruling on the nation’s electoral jurisprudence and freedom of choice, the regime has in the last two years foisted the most reprehensible administration upon the people of Imo State.

The illegitimate regime of Senator Uzodinma has without remorse, abdicated the primary obligation of government as prescribed by the Constitution, which is the security of lives and property. Rather, it has politicized an unfortunate security situation in the state which has continued to gulp countless innocent lives, everyday. Today, bandits, terrorists, cannibals, kidnappers and unknown gunmen are almost overrunning the State.

It is curious that Senator Uzodinma, until now, is yet to refute a very weighty allegation by the Senator representing his own senatorial district who accused him of being a mastermind of a deadly hit squad that is backed by his administration. Most areas in Orlu Zone are currently under the firm grip of gunmen, a situation that has thousands of our citizens internally displaced.

Our party and indeed the people of Imo State regret that Senator Uzodinma suspended and summarily dismantled all the foundations and programmes our Rebuild Imo administration painstakingly put in place in all the sectors towards the rebuilding of Imo State. Our government commenced the Treasury Single Account, Autonomy for local government system, Technical and Skills Development Colleges, Automated Payment System for prompt payment of salaries and pensions, agricultural revolution, infrastructural revolution, civil service reform, revival of ISOPADEC, Technology and ICT development, qualitative free education etc.

These and other programmes of the Rebuild Imo Administration were dumped by Uzodinma even when he embarked on a borrowing spree, in most cases, nocturnally, which has placed Imo as the most indebted State in the entire South East. This is worrisome given that the regime still cannot point to any landmark project it has done in two years to justify the huge borrowings.

Last year alone, the regime accessed over N59 billion loans from foreign and domestic sources. This year, 2022, Senator Uzodinma has perfected plans to borrow additional N61 billion. When added to well over N103 billion which has come to the local government areas from FAAC under Uzodinma, the N105 billion which has come to the State, the N24 billion which the State has internally generated and the N10 billion which represents the 13% Oil Derivation, it is heartbreaking that there is nothing in Imo to show for the monies.

This is obviously not the Imo State we envisioned for our children.

Within the years under review, Senator Uzodinma has had neither a well researched policy nor direction in the various sectors of the state. This is the calamity that has befallen our State.

Our party notes with great pain that within two years, Senator Uzodinma has made our state, Imo, the unemployment capital of Nigeria. It is noteworthy that the relevant rating board, the Presidential Business Enabling Environment Council, has consistently placed Imo at the lowest rung of the ladder in terms of ease of doing business in Nigeria. Worse still, within two years, our state ranks highest in the South East in terms of infant and maternal mortality rates.

Imo has collapsed under Gov. Uzodinma.

In the past two years, Senator Uzodinma has willfully denied workers and retirees their salaries and pensions. When workers stage protests, they are tagged fake and brutalized by agents of the government. Also, the local government system has been completely emasculated, defunded and stripped of autonomy, thus, giving way for mass misery at the grassroots.

We wish to encourage the people of Imo State to keep the spirit alive. This regime must expire very soon to give way for a PDP led government for the good of the people.

Signed:

Mazi Emenike Nmeregini,
State Publicity Secretary,
Imo PDP.

Cubana Chief Priest Appointment: No Result, No Respect, No Recognition -Jamie Pajoel

Cubana Chief Priest appointment in Imo State created a fixed feeling with many thinking he doesn’t deserve it.This post is not about if he deserves it or not! It’s about understanding one simple RULE of life- NO RESULT, NORESPECT!!!Few years ago, I did all my best to get close to a particular person in Nigeria. I bought all his books, attended all his seminars, sent emails and text messages, but I wasn’t given attention and neither was I recognized!

The following year, I decided to focus on building my own brand and one day, I got invited to share stage with this same person!!!He spoke for 1 hour but I just did 30 minutes, I got a standing ovation 👏 and he didn’t.

He came to me after the event and asked for my number and till date, he respects me.If you want RECOGNITION, go get some personal RESULT.If you don’t understand Strategic positioning, your suffering will be long!!!You can be good but if you are not strategically positioned, you can’t command THE KING’S ATTENTION.

Most of you run to Government officials seeking for attention and that’s why you can’t SIT on the BIG TABLE!!!You need to sit down and build a NAME for yourself so Government can call you to sit on the BIG TABLE!!!I got the attention of the 3 most powerful institutions (UN, World Bank and African Union) using the Spider 🕷Strategy.

It’s a Biblical Concept that I have been using for 10 years and it always works. If you want the Governor to appoint you, be intentional & Strategic or you will go unnoticed!!!I don’t seek attention!!! I command it!!! That’s why I am Jamie Pajoel!!!

Chairman Seahorse Industries Dr. Ebuka Onunkwo Sends Mother inlaw Home In A Blaze Of Glory

It was billed to be the mother of all burials and it truly lived up to expectations and hype.

My billionaire boss and the chairman of Seahorse industries Dr Ebuka Onunkwo with his amiable wife spared no expense to send his beloved mother -in law home in a blaze of glory.

It was a gathering of who is who in Ozubulu today from Peter Obi to Jowi Zaza and his billionaire dad,Jesco oil to first republic minister of Information, Amaechi Mbazuluike to Aki and Paw Paw and then the BBN winner, White money.

It was a gathering of the best and brightest in our society.

We all came because we love the son in law and Seahorse boss because truly, he is a good man.

So there is no way and my cofounder and ally, Nnenna MiriamJane Eze would miss the burial for anything in this life. It would have been an unpardonable sin if we had missed it.

One of the biggest takeaway for me was simple: just be a good person; people you touched their lives will turn up for you when you call them to come.

That was exactly what happened today.

I guess Ozubulu has not seen anything of this scale that happened today. It was a colorful carnival.

I will share official photos from the event, tomorrow.

Till then, good evening every one!

How Moses Oko’s Parents Played A Major Role In His Escape Attempt.

UPDATE: FAMILY SYNDICATE CONSPIRACY WITH MOSES OKO IN JENNIFER ANTHONY’S MURDER CASE

How Moses Oko’s parents played a Major Role in His escape Attempt.

The case of Jennifer’s death is no new news to anyone who is active on the social media space, We just received a clearer version of the attempt of the Prime suspect of the murder to escape.

A nurse who happened to work in the hospital where his parents brought him as a person with psychological issues made the shocking revelation.

For now the Nurse and the narrator’s identity will be undisclosed.

Here is what They had to say,
“Omo things dey happen”:

We all heard that Jennifer’s killer has been arrested right? Well it happened here in benue state teaching hospital,my neighbor who happens to be a psychiatric nurse told us the story this morning. According to her,his father,a professor in unijos and his mother brought him to the hospital with false information, there were bruises on his body and when they asked, they said he hit someone with his car and the person died so people there were beating him, they also claimed he was m.ad.

So they ignorantly took him in,infact this woman was the one attending to him and she didn’t know he was a criminal. She said about three days ago,he tried to escape from the hospital with a chain,he was using the chain to hit anyone who tried to stop him , meanwhile, his parents were in the hospital that day and they did nothing.

A certain Mr ola, who’s also a nurse pursued him with a bike, then they got to a roundabout and that was where he was pinned down and chained and taken back to the hospital. They still thought he was ma.d but they became suspicious on why he tried to escape, they confronted his parents for not doing anything when he tried to escape and according to her,the father tried to bribe them which they refused. They now held a meeting to discuss the whole thing and concluded something was wrong.

The next day, police from Jos came to the hospital, they said on the day that the guy tried to escape, the father reported himself to the police because Jos police locked down their house in Jos and he knew he had nowhere to run…so their plan was for him to escape, then the police would come looking for him and wouldn’t find him and blame it on the negligence of the nurses.

FG Shortlists 5,000 Out 1.4 Million Applicants For Civil Defence Job

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has shortlisted 5,000 successful candidates for employment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps out of the 1,477,042 candidates that applied in the 2019 recruitment exercise.

The Secretary of the board, Mrs Aisha Rufai, who disclosed this at the Civil Defence headquarters in Abuja, on Thursday, directed all prospective applicants to check the application portal, http://cdfipb.careers from January 17, 2022.
She, however, noted that the portal wouldn’t open to candidates who were not shortlisted, adding that the documentation exercise would commence from January 31.
“Applicants should check for their names, documentation location, guidelines for documentation exercise and print out their invitation slip without which they will not be allowed to participate in the exercise,” she said.
The NSCDC Commandant-General, Dr Ahmed Audi, stated that the recruitment was specifically for 2019 applicants, adding that the successful candidates would be invited for training after the documentation process.
Audi said a total of 1,477,042 applicants applied in 2019 but the number was reduced to 746,762 when some applicants did not meet up with the specified requirements.
He said, “A total of 217,000 candidates successfully uploaded their certificates and were shortlisted for the Computer-Based Assessment Test.
“Out of 113,105 candidates shortlisted, 53,116 sat for the CBT in December 2020 across the country and 6,500 were shortlisted for further screening,” he said.
According to the CG, the recruitment exercise lingered till 2022 due to the emergence of COVID-19 and the need for proper vetting of the candidates.
“Recruitment is a process and it is not easy to vet over one million people as vetting is very fundamental to the process and takes a longer time,” he said.

EFCC Arrests Fake Army General Who Claimed Buhari Nominated Him As COAS

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Lagos Zonal Command, said it has arrested one Bolarinwa Oluwasegun, a fake Army General, for N270 million fraud.

The EFCC, in a statement on Thursday, said the suspect allegedly made false representations to the complainant, Kodef Clearing Resources, that the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), had shortlisted him and one other to be appointed as the Chief of Army Staff, COAS, and that he needed a short grant “to press and process the appointment.”

“He also allegedly forged a letter of appointment as COAS purportedly signed by the President and showed the same to the victim to further prove his claim,” the anti-graft agency said.

The Rain Of Bags Of Rice; Engr Akarachi Amadi Gifts Mbaike Women For Christmas

Giving is one of the greatest acts in the Bible. Every hand that gives , never lacks. This act we have seen in the Eziama in Ikeduru born businessman and a humanitarian by nature, Engr Akarachi Amadi.

The show of sincerity, pure and meek heart by this compassionate young man, as he feeds the entire women of Mbaitoli LGA and Ikeduru LGA in their various wards and booths respectively.

The journey around the wards of Mbaike which took over eight days with massive turn out of the women of Mbaike to receive a bag of rice each was devoid of party affiliations and segregation. I am sure to tell you that eighty percent of Mbaike homes has Engr Amadi’s rice cooking in their houses.

Amidst the flow of joy as expressed by the women, especially the very old ones, was the prayers to the young philanthropist. The mothers acknowledged that they have not seen it this way before in the history of Mbaike.

What made it spectacular was the fact that out of the young engineer’s busy schedule, he found time to tour round to deliver these bags of rice by himself to the women or mothers . Like the Indians will say “if u want to eat a good food, make it yourself “. It was usual for politicians to give out rice or stuffs like that through one leader or the other and most of the time, the commodities get diverted and the people they are meant for won’t even have a smell of it. These narratives, Engr Akarachi Amadi wants to change in Mbaike and even beyond.

The young Engr while addressing the people have promised them that it will be a reoccurring yearly affair as it is a show of love between him and his mothers. In his speech; “when a mother trains her child to a good level, it is rather reasonable for the child to come back and take care his mama in return. This is my motivation to take care of our mothers in Mbaike. I have said it that whatever I do for my own biological mother, I will do for Mbaike women”.

He went on to promise the Mbaike women and even their men of a free medical outreach which may commence in this month of January. He made this promise owing to the fact that he observed that some of the women coming out for his Christmas largesse have one health challenge or the other.

Engr Akarachi Amadi while going round the wards of Mbaike has made promises to offset all bills for the purchase of 2022 JAMB forms for all candidates of Mbaike who have good results in their WAEC and NECO and are seeking for admission into the universities. The modality is to have the list of such students from the various community President Generals and the Royal fathers as the case maybe.

The AFO DI MKPA PROJECT was a loudable one and the encomium and prayers for the young Engr by the women who received his Christmas package will not seize to flow in a hurry.

It’s important to note that before this time, Engr Amadi had on the 1st of January 2022 opened a four bedroom bungalow with a borehole and tank stand he built for an indigent widow in Ikembara Ikeduru Local Government and handed the keys over to her.

Young Amadi is also the sponsor of the loud 20 Million Naira MBAIKE UNITY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT that ended on the 2nd of January 2022 which saw Amaimo ward in Ikeduru clinching the first position.

We are also not bereaved of the information that his penchant for development has given smiles on about five roads in Mbaike as constructions are on going right now on them. Some of these roads are Nkwo Orji Obazu-MBIERI Road, Afor Eziama-Okpuala Road, Atta-Nkwodoro Ikembara Road, Ochicha-Ngugo Eziama Road.

Imo: Uzodinma Two Years Of Plunging Imo Into Debt Slavery

By Collins Opurozor

Governments borrow for a reason. It is because debt instruments are development tools which they deploy for raising the financial and socio-economic wellbeing of their entities.

The implication of this is that loans are invariably obtained so as to invest in those programs, initiatives and projects which have the prospect of turning around the economic circumstances of the borrowing entities and affording them the capacity not just to repay in future but also to create sustainable growth.

Available data from the Debt Management Office (DMO) indicate that Imo State before the emergence of Chief Hope Uzodinma had a debt stock estimate in the region of between N110bn and N115bn. However, after the last quarter of 2021, the requisite information gleaned from Imo incessant borrowings, namely N7.5bn in March 2020, N5bn in October 2020, N32.9bn of domestic loans between January and September 2021 and N5.3bn domestic loans within the same period, in addition to N18.3bn borrowing plan which was further nocturnally approved in October and effected in early November, the debt profile of Imo State currently stands at well over N183bn.

What is curious as well as mind – boggling is that, first, Imo State now shoulders a debt burden bigger than all the other four States of the South East put together. To be clear, Abia’s debt stock today is slightly above N56.2bn, while Anambra and Ebonyi have N12bn and N8bn respectively. Enugu is N32bn. Imo now owes more than them all combined.

Second, in all of the landmark borrowings by the regime of Chief Uzodinma, no effort was made to redraw the industrial landscape of the State by re-jigging investments in the hugely vital Agro-industrial where Imo has major comparative advantage. Ada-Palm has remained moribund, Imo Rubber Estates and Avutu Poultry Farm have remained comatose.

Also, Nsu Tiles Company, Umuna Bricks Factory, Egbema Power Plant and Inyishi Aluminium Extrusion Plant are some key investments with the capacity to rev up the local economy and employ a vast majority of the teeming unemployed Imo youths. Yet, they have been left to rot away, even when Imo under Chief Uzodinma has been officially designated by the NBS as the unemployment capital of Nigeria.

A more sordid reality is that in the face of this excessive debt overhang, no attempt is made to cut the cost of governance. With an overhead cost of nearly N2.8 billion spent every month on lengthy convoys, hiring private jets, drinking champagnes and servicing political machineries, which is the highest in the South East, Chief Uzodinma has continued to squander loans to finance waste thereby mortgaging future generations of Imo State with unpayable debt stocks. Imo is undergoing financial hemorrhage under Chief Uzodinma.

The bad news is that fossil fuels, our own black gold called petroleum, upon which all our hopes and economic projections are hinged, will become obsolete before the end of this decade. Given the innovations in technology and advent of clean, green energy, anyone who waits on oil money for anything is only waiting for Godot. Other progressive States have realized this and, increasingly, they have diversified their income bases to embrace the Post-oil realities. How then will Imo repay the loans being taken by Chief Uzodinma to fund his extravagance and frivolities?

With a monthly IGR profile of below N1bn which cannot even offset the personnel cost in Imo, humongous debt stock, absence of associated infrastructure and policy framework that can ensure private sector-driven growth, and collapse of all State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), Chief Uzodinma’s two years have succeeded at making Imo a pitiably unviable entity and further plunged the once prosperous State into debt slavery with no solution in sight.

Stakeholders Meeting: Ihedioha Moblizes Imo PDP, Tasks Stakeholders On Unity And Hardwork

By Ebube Mbah

The Peoples ’s Democratic Party, Imo State Wednesday, 5th January 2022 held an all-important Business Stakeholders meeting.

The meeting which had in attendance, all critical stakeholders of the party across the state, held at its state Secretariat, Owerri. It provided an opportunity for the Engr Charles Ugwu led State Execetive Committee to render stewardship and take stock of its activities for the year ended – 2021.

The State Chairman of the party, Engr. Charles Ugwu, in his address, highlighted the achievements, prospects and challenges of the party. He used to opportunity to render the financial account of the year ended.

Party leaders in their various speeches hailed the hard-work, innovations, transparency and commitment of the Engr. Ugwu led executive. They didn’t stop there. The leadership provided by the leader of the party in the State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON, was profusely acknowledged and appreciated as a major stabilizing factor of the party.

The National Secretary of the party, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu (represented), commended the party executives and leaders across the state and reassured of his commitment in making sure that PDP returns to Douglas House to actualize the Rescue and Rebuilding of Imo State and Nigeria at large.

In his speech, which was intermittently interrupted with applause and ovations, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, while charging party faithful on the need to break new grounds, stated that as at today, PDP is the most viable political party in Imo State, even out of government. He maintained that the goodwill and acceptance the party enjoys today is undoubtedly attributed to the numerous achievements recorded within the six months administration of the PDP led Rebuild Imo administration.

“When I became Governor, we promised Imo people LGA autonomy and we did it, we ensured prompt payment of salaries and pensions, we revived agriculture in the state, our IGR recorded a major boost, we improved the rating of Imo State in terms of Ease-of-doing-business and corruption index, there was massive construction of roads across the state, the LG administration was working again, likewise every other institution in the state. We did all these things and more within a short period of time and we would have done many more by now. It is however, unfortunate that these things milestones have been halted and abandoned in the state today. My assurance is that we shall bounce back”, Ihedioha stated.

He charged party leaders across the state to continue to consolidate and oil the structures of the party, especially the chapter level, and ensure smooth running of the ongoing party E-registration in their area

Hon. Ihedioha reassured that the party will resist any attempt to change or substitute the name(s) of anybody who wins primary election. He tasked aspirants on the need to market themselves to the party and win their confidence ahead of the primaries.

The high point of the gathering was the mobilization of funds for capital projects and other activities of the party. This aspect was anchored and moderated by His Excellency,

Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha to the admiration of party stakeholders and about a N100million was realized even as the party is still receiving more donations.

Another high point of the event was the unveiling of the digital register for the Chapter level of the party.

What observers found very heartwarming was the fact that most of the people that made donations are not known to be vying for any position. Also most of the donors did so without being called upon to do so.

It therefore connotes the fact that it is symbolic of the confidence reposed on the party and importantly on the leadership provided by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON.

2023: Ihedioha Still The Choice Of Ndi Imo

There is no better way to understand why the present administration has deployed their attack goats against the leaders of the PDP and the PDP at large.

The just concluded PDP Stakeholders meeting has remained a great shock to them. The PDP has shown its readiness and commitment to take over power, not from the back door but with the support of the people.

On the other hand, Ihedioha has continued to enjoy a wide popularity among the Imo populace. This popularity is not bought but earned. Ihedioha distinguished himself within the seven months spent in office as the duly elected Governor of Imo State.

Seven months may seem small but the generality of Ndi Imo saw the direction of the Government. Peoples confidence were restored in the governance of the State, and Imolites became aware and alert of government activities and programs. This has taken flight from the Imo of today, as the people know that whatever the incumbent regime says must be taken with a pinch of salt.

In the coming weeks, expect pockets of attacks on the PDP and its unifying leader, Emeka Ihedioha. Do not be surprised when you see these attacks. Your duty as Onye Imo is that you know the truth. We were all alive when Ihedioha was Governor, we are all alive today. We don’t need to be told what happened. We know what happened.

Uzodinma and his sponsored attack goats must understand that Ihedioha is the Choice of Ndi. He is largely accepted not because of who he is, but because of what his entire personality represents.

Ihedioha represents Due Process, Fairness, Equity and absolute commitment to the people.

Imo shall be rebuilt.

Ihedioha is coming…

Family Demands Justice As 11-Yr-Old Boarding Student Dies Due To Alleged Negligence

A family in Anambra State is seeking Justice after their 11-year-old son d#ed due to alleged negligence from his boarding school.

Bright Chidalu Onyekwuluje, a Junior Secondary School (JSS2) student of St Michaels Boys College, Ozubulu in Anambra State, was said to fallen seriously ill in school.

But despite his deteriorating health, the school’s management was said to have insisted he must stay behind to finish his exams, a decision which allegedly led to his death.

Chidalu died on December 17, 2021, nine days after he was picked up by his parents after his cousin borrowed a phone to alert them of his health.

Speaking at his funeral, the father of the deceased, Mr Prince Cornelius told journalists that, “My son, Bright Chidalu Onyekwuluje died out of negligence on the part of the school. He was sick, and they refused to tell us. It was my son’s cousin that borrowed a phone to call his mother to tell us to come and pick Bright that he was dying.

He told us he has been the one backing him from the school hostel to the classroom every day, to sit for exams. Even after the call, I reached the guardian of my son, but he lied to me that the boy was okay and that it was nothing serious. I insisted on coming from Port Harcourt, Rivers State where I live to pick him, and they insisted it was nothing serious.

When I insisted I must see him, I was surprised the boy looked so bad that he was already dying. I asked the guardian if this was the boy he said was alright, but he did not answer. Now I have lost my only son.”

Man Reportedly Castrates Self To Serve God Properly In Benue State

Terhemen Anongo, a 44-year-old resident of Gboko in Benue State, has removed his two test!cles “to avert s*xual desire”.

Anongo, who is a medical school drop-out, claimed the decision will enable him serve God properly. Last year, he had removed one of the testicles by himself, almost losing his life in the process.

He came into limelight in March after he personally undertook the surgery, which resulted in profuse bl*eding. Anongo, who dropped out from the University of Ibadan medical school over alleged ill health, had said the c*stration was based on his religious belief that since he was not married, he needed to serve God faithfully.

According to The Tribune, speaking on telephone with newsmen in Makurdi on Sunday, the medical student now turned a wheel barrow pusher, said, “I went to remove the second test!cle based on religious belief. I removed it on Monday. The first one had little hitches but this one having learnt from that experience, I did (remove) it very well. Somebody is always coming to dress it for me. I’m fine. There is no problem, I’m only waiting for when the wound will heal so I can remove the stitches.”

Senator Ifeanyi Ararume And Loss Of NNPC Board Chairmanship: Why Imo?

BY: Sam Onwuemeodo.

This is my second outing for the year. The New Year. The Year, 2022. Happy New year.

Senator lfeanyi Araraume was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari, as the Chairman, Board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC.

The appointment later became a story. An ugly story. The story of tortoise and the wife, Alii . Folklore. Akuko ufe . But, that’s not the end of life.

Imo people , in particular, were excited and happy over the appointment. And you could easily fathom why.

Aside Araraume being their son, in whom they are well pleased, the appointment was seen as an Elephant meat. Big elephant. Anu enyi. Take , l take. The thing would still remain, to a very large extent.

His inauguration was fixed. On the eve of the inauguration, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SFG) , Mr. Boss Mustapha, announced that the exercise would not hold again . No reason was given.

There was high feeling of indignation on the side of all men and women of good spirit. Moreover, on the part of lmo people. lmo people, with the spirit of progress. With the spirit of charity and conviviality.

At the end of the day, Araraume was dropped and replaced with Mrs. Magret Chuba Okadigbo, from Anambra State. No problem. No skin pain.

What really went wrong? What happened? What was amiss? That’s the questions. And I tell you this.

I have been privileged to have followed Araraume’s Politics closely , since 1998. Perhaps, he does not know.

He is a rare breed politician. He has his style. Calm. Dogged. Unassuming. Modest. Articulate. Focused. Determined.

Yet, he has his own faults. And that’s between him and his GOD. We all have our faults. Our shortcomings. Our stupidity. Our foolishness. And so on.

For those who have not forgotten. Araraume was the Pioneer State Chairman of the All Peoples Party, APP, in lmo.

That was the most formidable party in Imo in 1998, following the calibre of people in the party . Chief Mike lheanatu was the Secretary.

In the party, was Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Arthur Nzeribe, Evan Enwerem, Sam Mbakwe, Ezekiel lzuogu, etal .

Araraume was chosen to chair the party at that stage. Infact, who was who, in Imo Politics, could be found in APP.

The party was launched on November 12, 1998 , at Dan Anyiam Stadium.

Sam Mbakwe, in his written address at the event, read by the daughter, Patience Mbakwe, said, “I am a Co-founder of the APP. Infact, I and Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu joined the APP the same day at NICON Noga , Abuja”.

Mbakwe further said, “With eminent Imo personalities like Chief Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Chief Arthur Francis Nzeribe and Chief Evan Enwerem around, APP is the party to beat . I am satisfied with the way the party is being run. They have extolled the performance of the State Chairman of the party, Chief Ifeanyi Araraume and his Executives”.

Mbakwe was not physically present at the event . The daughter read the address, he personally signed.

And Mbakwe wrote, “I am very sorry I am unable to attend this historic occasion. I am far away in Germany, where I have gone in search of good health”.

But what happened, that this great party , APP, with a very bright future , fizzled out so soon , in Imo? Hear me.

Few days to the party’s Primary, some of its key leaders, for one reason or the other, conspired against Araraume.

Nzeribe wrote , accusing Araraume and his EXCO, of certain sharp practices. But the real reason behind the whole plot , was Araraume’s closeness to Enwerem.

The trouble intensified. Araraume and Enwerem left the APP to PDP, into the waiting and friendly hands of Senator Emeka Echeruo and Chief Innocent D Nwoga.

The duo , ( Araraume and Enwerem), were handed over the Senatorial tickets of the PDP, for Okigwe and Owerri Zones , respectively. And they won.

That marked the genesis of the problem of APP in lmo . And it never survived it , till date.

That was how PDP overtook APP in lmo . I am telling a story and at the same time , giving the information that, some people are pregnant with grace. lt does not matter what they go through in life. But don’t be part of what they go through, in your own compound and simple interest.

Araraume survived the Politics of APP and was a two-term Senator for Okigwe zone , on the ticket of the PDP. Araraume and his God.

In 2007, he decided to run for the governorship of the State, on the ticket of PDP.

In the Primary, the governor then , Chief Achike Udenwa didn’t want him. He wanted Engr. Charles Ugwu. The Party Chairman then, Chief M.O. Nlemigbo didn’t want him. He had wanted Chief Tony Ezenna. Also called “ORANGE DRUG”.

At the end, Araraume won the Primary, not minding those against him and those who were for him . He was set to win the election proper . But the incumbent governor at that time, a PDP man, Udenwa, decided to back Chief Ikedi Ohakim of PPA, who won the election, in the final analysis. Araraume remained aglow .

Then 2011. And if not Rochas Okorocha, whose election was somewhat , a mass movement, under the canopy of APGA, Araraume would have won that election on the platform of ACN. He also remained visible. Apparent.

To make the long story short, in 2019, he ran for the governorship of the state on the ticket of APGA. And came third in that election. He also won Six House of Assembly Seats. The highest, after PDP and AA.

We are talking about 1998 to 2022. He has remained on the front seat of Imo Politics. And not losing weight. Not losing followers. lt’s not easy at all. To say the least.

Then, this appointment by President Buhari, as the Chairman of the NNPC Board, which had been jettisoned.

And the story, which has not been refuted is that, the agents of the State Government wrote a lot of petitions against the man , to stop him.

lt is very difficult to believe that , the state government or its agents, could do such great disservice to lmo people .

But , if the story is true, the government or its agents didn’t stop Araraume, but Imo people. It is hard to say what Araraume needs again in life now, which he does not have. Or, which he has not gotten.

The NNPC position would have been of immense benefits to Imo people.

God loves Araraume. He has only been a victim of human Conspiracies. Yet, that he has remained a big issue in Imo Politics since 1998 , till date, is a feat. A no mean feat. A rare feat.

And from all indications, God hasn’t finished with him.

And for the State Government, it is not a good development that it is always associated with every negative story or development in the State.

It is not good at all. Every bad or ugly or negative story about the state, is associated or linked to the State Government. Haba! Why?. Before Araraume, there was also the case of Barr. Nwosu.

Mbakwe was an NPP governor. He never stopped federal appointments for the NPN Chieftains in the State.

Even when the NPN leader in the State, Prof. Rowland Anyanwu’s younger brother, Dr. Jonathan Anyanwu, was appointed the Resident Electoral Commissioner for the 1983 gubernatorial election in the State, Mbakwe didn’t kick against that, because he knew, he had the support of Imo people. And he won his re-election.

Evan Enwerem or Achike Udenwa, none fought against federal appointments given to Imo people, not minding the factions or the political divides they had belonged .

Udenwa was a PDP governor. Some Imo indigenes in the same party , who were against him, got federal appointments. He never used his position as PDP governor, to stop any of them.

Ohakim, Rochas Okorocha, none stopped any federal appointment given to an Imo son or daughter.

Imo people have been playing Politics. But the situation now is more of a war situation, than politics. Not Politics again .

Governor Uzodinma should change these itching narratives. They are not in his favour.

So, Araraume should remain thankful to God. He has remained one of the exceptionally blessed Imo Politicians. He has done very well in every aspect of life .

Those who stopped his appointment as Chairman of NNPC Board , might have their reason(s). Perhaps, to protect their own political interest.

But whatever one loves so much, may be lost in the long run. Even, in the short run.

Yet, we Shall Continue to Clap for JESUS.

Businesswoman Sandra Iheuwa Packed Out Of Husband’s House Because Of His Alleged Infidelity

A few days ago, businesswoman, Sandra Iheuwa, caused a stir online after she removed her husband of four months, Steve Thompson’s surname from her social media handle. She also removed “married to a boss” from her bio.

The couple also unfollowed each other after removing their photos from each others IG pages.

This came as a shock to so many as their four-month-old marriage was contracted in August 2021.

A source who is close to the couple told LIB exclusively that Sandra moved out of their matrimonial home in Osapa-London in Lagos state last week over her husband’s alleged constant act of infidelity which is usually unprotected. The source said even the week they returned from their honeymoon, the couple had a quarrel after she suspected he was cheating on her as he was always sneaking to take phone calls, something he never did while they were dating.

The source told LIB that Mr. Thompson even slept in a hotel for two nights the same week they returned from their honeymoon.

The source said Sandra has tried to make him stop cheating on her but he refused. She got fed up last week and in anger moved out of their home. The source said family members are currently trying to see how they can resolve their differences as Mr. Thompson is never remorseful for his actions.

At the moment Mr. Thompson has deactivated his account. Sandra is said to be cooling off somewhere and no one knows if she will be returning to the marriage. This would be Mr Thompson’s 3rd marriage and Sandra’s 2nd marriage.
