In life, people came to the world with different gifts and talents, and this with moral principles will guide one to achieve and fulfill his/her mandate on earth. One thing with such people who has determined to fulfill their God given mandate on earth is that they are determined to touch lives above all odds.
Such people are rare and hard to find even among the rich, and when eventually found you will know that they don’t just do things but according to dictates of God, the happiness of the poor is their utmost goal.
But Owerri zone is lucky to have one of such men as their son, he is no other than Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi (EBUBE DIKE II) the current senator representing Owerri Zone in the red chambers in Abuja.
He is a man of peace, and a lover of peace, a man you can trust and build trust around him, he is a friend to the poor and needy, a philanthropist to the core, he has been on it before he joined politics where he has been running all inclusive governance.
In pursuit of his deliberate policy of inclusive governance, all embracing and encompassing representation, Distinguished Sen Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi channels significant resources, energy and time, to making the physically challenged members of the society feel and taste the impact of his representation.
This is a pathway he carved right from the outset of his stint in the National Assembly and right up till this hour, he keeps sustaining the policy. What has changed in the senate is that he has laudably expanded the scope of the empowerment and support initiative.
In addition to doling out hundreds of wheelchairs to cushion challenge of movement, he has also ensured they are included in skills acquisition training programmes, even as those trained are resettled to help them become economically engaged.
The effort has notched up significant success and results in the last three years but really the exciting news is that more packages are primed to be rolled out. Added to that is the fact that the working lawmaker is not about to slow down anytime soon.
