Well meaning Nigerians living abroad have expressed utmost willingness to stand by the struggles and aspirations of Labour Party and its Presidential candidate, Peter Obi and Ahmed Datti to bring about the long desired change in the forthcoming Presidential election in the country by setting up Labour Party structures outside the country.

Nigerians in Dublin Ireland, Northern Ireland who are enthusiastic for a better fatherland stressed this in a Virtual meeting held on Sunday 18th September 2023 with the Chairman Diaspora Committee of Labour Party, Hon. Chibuike Amadichi who moderated the interactive sessions.

The notable Nigerians of different tribes living in the Republic of Ireland stated their readiness to start a Labour Party Dublin Ireland chapter.

They strongly expressed their desires and commitment to ensure the dividends they enjoy abroad as citizens in their base are replicated back home adding that there is no other fatherland they have except Nigeria hence their fellows in other parts of the World are also willing and ready to form Labour Party structures and Chapters to support the Party’s Presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi.

This is just a few of the testimonies and evidence of how prepared the Labour Party is towards the elections as well as the level of Confidence and acceptance Nigerians have on the party’s candidates.

It also shows the overwhelming and growing structures of the party against Statements from opposition that the party has no structure and cannot win in the 2023 election.

In the foregoing, Peter Obi and Ahmed Datti are not only dogged achievers but have shown themselves approved for the overwhelming support and commendations enjoyed across boards in the serious way and manner they have taken their sought jobs to interact with Nigerians everywhere they find themselves to know the yearnings of the people especially the youths who have been neglected and sidelined over time in the scheme of things in the country.

However, the Diaspora Committee of the Labour Party headed by Hon. Chibuike Amadichi is practically doing that and more of the job that Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) was mandated to do by the Federal government. This is because the party and its candidates values all Nigerians whether home or in Diaspora.
