Ronaldo Slammed 2 Weeks’ Wages Fine, Dropped From Match Squad

Cristiano Ronaldo has been fined two weeks’ wages by Manchester United Manager, Erik Ten Hag, and dropped from the squad to face Chelsea at Stanford Bridge.This was following the awkward action taken by Ronaldo during the mid-week game against Tottenham Hotspur which was tagged as being disrespectful to the Club and Fans.The Manchester United forward refused to come on as a substitute in the 87th minute and walked out of the touchline two minutes later, leaving the stadium before the end of the match.Reports had it that this was a repetition of what Ronaldo Did against Rayo Vallecano and Brentford which was deemed unacceptable to most Manchester United fans.

Manchester United Manager, Erik Ten Hag has expressed in an official statement that he came to the Club Instill discipline and set standards, describing Ronaldo’s actions as unacceptable.“I am responsible for the culture here and I have to set standards and values and control them. After Rayo Vallecano, I told him (Ronaldo) that it was unacceptable, not just him but everyone. This is the second time and there are consequences”.

He Opined.Ronaldo on the other hand has vowed not to give in to the current pressure but to work hard and support his teammates on and off the pitch.The Portugal Star is expected to forfeit his two weeks’ wages worth one million pounds, miss the clash against Chelsea, and tender an open apology to the fans and his teammates.
