The Management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education says it has suspended three postgraduates over their alleged involvement in examination misconduct.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Ozo-mekuri Ndimele in a statement titled ‘suspension from studies’ on Friday said the matter had been referred to the institution’s students disciplinary committee to determine their faith, while their names had been forwarded to the Department of State Services for profiling.
The statement reads, “The management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education has suspended the following postgraduate students from studies for various examinations misconduct: Benjamin Amaechi Onu, MSc candidate in Sociology; Vicar Efebo, PhD candidate, Faculty of Business Studies; and Wagbara Faith Ekuetosi, PhD candidate, Faculty of Business Studies.
“Their matters have been referred to the Students Disciplinary Committee to determine their fate. Meanwhile, their names have been sent to DSS for profiling. Please stay out of trouble,” the VC advised.
