Hon. Ugboaja Victor Chinedu (Akataobi) has been elected the 2nd Vice President General of Arondizuogu Patriotic Union (APU) in a keen contested election.
The bi-election which held at the national headquarters of the union at Nkwochi last Saturday 7th November,2020 was presided by Mazi Uche Ohia, Chairman electoral committee before the newly elected President General of APU Mazi Peter Obiagwu, his Vice Mazi Emma Of for, also present is the newly elected secretary Mazi Chinedu Okpareke.
The election was adjudged free and fair as there was not petitions arose from the election.
It will recall that the election of the apex body of Arondizuogu held a fortnight ago which gave way for the bi-election.
On his election as the second Vice-President Hon Ugbaja Victor Akatobi was full of appreciation to God who made his possible and the great people of Arondizuogu for given the opportunity to serve his people, he promised to be loyal to the constitution of the body and will make hard work and honest his watchword.
He also promise to work in harmony with other executives elected to serve in this higher position which the highest in the land.
Akatobi was the youngest to be elected in such position since the existence of APU.
It will recalled that Akatobi has been sponsoring football tournament and other sports activities in Arondizuogu for the past mine years which has saw many villages and individuals as winners at one time or the other.
It is believe that it was his selfless service to humanity that made every other person to step aside for to contest unopposed.
Akatobi this is another opportunity for you to serve your people and contribute your wealth of ideas to develop Arondizuogu.
