Tina, a 16 years old girl was shot by a trigger-happy Nigerian police officer yesterday at Iyana oworo. She died earlier today.
Tina’s offence: She’s Nigerian girl selling second-hand clothings by the roadside during haphazardly enforced Corvid:19 curfew.
Who will seek justice for Tina? Who will avenge this cold blood, brutal and vicious murder of a helpless and innocent soul? Who will march and protest until the whole Nigeria Police headquarters intervene for the soul of Tina? Because Tina’s killer must not go unpunished. The officer must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and I want to the officer to be judged publicly to server as deterrant to others.
Also let the Nigeria Police publish the names of all police officers tried and convited for extra judicial Killing in Nigeria and the number of years they are to spend in prison and possibly the name the Prison that are serving, it will go a long way to tell the world that the Police and Federal government are taking for granted the lives of Nigerians killed by trigger happy officers.
